Just perfect!

The music was beautiful for my ceremony and cocktail hour! We even had a request for a bagpiper to make our entrance into the tent and he did an amazing job !

Perfect for our ceremony

Yvonne was great and incredibly easy to work with. JL Music was able to play songs that were traditional and not so traditional for our ceremony! She worked with me on finding the right songs to walk down the aisle to and was very affordable. The use of the quartet was really special and made my ceremony that much more intimate and perfect. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a string band for their special event!

Elegant Ceremony Music

J L Music Service was a great touch to the ceremony. They have a very extensive playlist, so it was tough to select the songs to play during the limited period of time...I wish they could have played more!

Yvonne is amazing!

Yvonne is amazing. I had a couple specialized songs I wanted to try and place in the wedding and she played each piece beautifully!!! Highly recommend her.

My daughter’s wedding ceremomy

JL Music and Yvonne were such a pleasure to work with, and the music trio (violin, viola, and cello) played beautifully at my daughter’s wedding. What a wonderful addition to the ceremony. I loved them!

Raining Savannah Wedding

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Yvonne for our wedding back in November 2019. Our wedding was a washout in the sense that it was raining hard all day and it was extremely cold for Savannah, but besides all that Yvonne made our ceremony very memorable. She found and played one of my favorite David Bowe songs when I walked down the aisle and I gotta say that it will always be in mind whenever I think about our wedding. I highly recommend Yvonne for your wedding because not only she's very professional, she will go above and beyond to find the right songs to make your ceremony or cocktail our very enjoyable, memorable for you and your guests.

Made my dream come true!

I had a special request to Yvonne and asked if they would be able to play a traditional afghan wedding song when I walked down the aisle - she did not hesitate to make my dream a reality. She was able to find the sheet music and learn the music which was such a magical moment and sweet surprise for my dad. I can't recommend this company enough. Highly recommend!

Loved JL Music!

JL music and Yvonne were great to work with! They got a song list from us with ample time to coordinate and practice. In addition, they work well with a coordinator and planner to create the ideal ceremony and cocktail hour music! Very professional!

My husband and I made a very last minute decision to have music at our elopement in Forsyth Park. Yvonne was incredibly responsive in her emails and got things handled very quickly. I only requested two songs and gave Yvonne permission to play whatever she was feeling. The music was beautiful and it really pulled the whole ceremony together. I would absolutely hire Yvonne again and again.

Beautifully and expertly played music by a fabulous string trio added the perfect touch to my son’s wedding. They arrived promptly and were well rehearsed and ready to go. As a musician myself, I can say without reservation that you can’t go wrong with this group!

It was on my heart to have live music for my intimate wedding ceremony, however, considering another cost for a wedding of 15 guest... I was not sure. Then, when I visualized that special moment and time, our families relaxing and mingling prior to the ceremony and my walking into the room; I imagined beautiful, soft sounds to elevate calm and a loving mood in the room. I received that from JL Music and so much more... It was truly lovely and one of the best investments in our wedding day ceremony! Working with my budget, I began discussing only a solo violin, however, as I started listening to various types of music; I fell in love with the combination of a minimum of a duo with the violin and cello. I walked into the room to a beautiful classical piece of music, my longtime friend spoke a reading with Yvonne & company playing softly a song by John Legend... and they tickled my husband with my request of Brown Eyed Girl; I have brown eyes, lol! It was so lovely, added a bit of elegance, also fun, warm and everyone enjoyed the beautiful music of the instruments. I was so excited to hear the music as I came down the staircase and it made that moment of our eyes meeting some-kind-of magical and all I dreamed of. Yvonne, thank you so very much for bringing your gifts to our wedding, it truly added so much to our special time; and our guests were especially impressed with how diverse our music was from classical, pop, r&b and more.
To all who are considering your services, I wish them as much joy as we experienced with your musical gifts...you blessed us...Yvonne, thank you again!

I used JL Music for my ceremony music in the park. I decided to book with Yvonne for 1.5 hours with 3 musicians (viola, violin, cello) - we had them playing a mix of traditional and today music and received lots of complements. I would use them again and would recommend them to a friend.

I absolutely loved Yvonne! She was a pleasure to work with and the ceremony music was just gorgeous. My fiancé and I had a violin and cello duo, and we would definitely go with that pairing again - just beautiful!

We planned our wedding while living abroad so had to put our trust in our wedding planner and with reviews. JL Music was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. They were super easy to work with and just by communicating through email they captured what we were hoping for in regards to ceremony and cocktail hour music. They had contemporary music and traditional music and they compiled a wonderful set for our cocktail hour. I would definitely work with JL Music again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for wedding musicians.

Incredibly easy to work with, and very responsive. The trio drove from Savannah to Sea Island, GA to play my wedding ceremony. I never met with Yvonne prior to the ceremony, but we emailed a lot. My wife and I selected the music we wanted, and we created a "script" for the ceremony that we sent to Yvonne. This was helpful during the rehearsal, and also very helpful for these musicians, who were not able to attend the rehearsal. The details were hammered out in emails, and everything went off without a hitch. It was perfect! The quality of the music was fantastic! I cannot write enough positive comments here to reflect how happy I was with JL Music Service. I would recommend them to anyone, and I would like to hire them again for anything else just because they were so fantastic.

Yvonne was fantastic!! No only was she wonderful, but she played some songs that were not part of her playlist, but that meant a lot to my husband's family. The JL String Quartet was amazing. We loved their music and highly recommend this quartet to anyone who wants to make their wedding amazing. They played for us before and during our ceremony in the courtyard at The Brice Hotel, and honestly it would not have been the same without them. They are highly professional and musically talented, playing everything from traditional hymns to John Legend and Coldplay.

Thanks to Yvonne and the rest of the quartet for making our wedding incredible. We are forever grateful for your helping in making it the best day ever.

We had a a string duo play at our ceremony and during our cocktail hour. They played absolutely beautifully! I used the suggested ceremony songs for our ceremony and could not have been happier. For our cocktail hour, they played a mix of classical and popular songs. They have a large selection of both that they play regularly, which are listed on their website. They also take outside requests! I requested one song-the Downton Abbey Theme Song :) which they graciously learned and played during my cocktail hour. Many of my guests commented how they got a huge kick out of it! We had our wedding in a historical home in downtown Savannah and the music really complimented the ambiance of our venue. I could not be happier with the service that Yvonne and her husband provided!

The music during our ceremony was great. My wife wanted to have "Young and Beautiful" played as she walked down the aisle and it was perfect. We were from out of town so we were worried about communication but Yvonne exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend their services.

Yvonne was spectacular! I was a pretty last minute bride when it came down to planning ceremony music. My fiance and I had been putting it off because of disagreements with our venue. Almost as soon as I emailed JL Music, I received a reply. Yvonne had a wonderful selection of classic wedding ceremony music and also more contemporary. I really wanted to walk down the aisle to "All I ask of you" and I know that without Yvonne's persistence with the venue contact, that would not have been possible. In a traditional Catholic ceremony, all of the music during should be religious and she provided another wonderful list for us to chose from. My husband and I are huge Coldplay fans, and on the contemporary music list- VIVA LA VIDA was listed... so we chose that for our exit. Yvonne was incredibly helpful and getting us everything we wanted. It was a perfect ceremony and I know in large part it was because of her.

JL Music provided an acoustic guitarist for simple, classic music at our small Savannah square wedding ceremony. JL Music was extremely responsive which made them easy to work with while planning from out of town. We provided the ceremony music list and the guitarist executed it beautifully; it was that simple!

JL Music Service provided a string duo for our small outdoor wedding in Whitefield Square. They were there early to set up/warm up, entertained our guests with the music we requested, played the processional music beautifully and right on cue, and then continued to entertain after the ceremony. Everyone in attendance was very impressed.

The music was lovely and Yvonne was very accommodating with my requests. As with most brides, I forgot a special request I was supposed to make during the event. Yvonne remembered and kindly reminded me - I was very grateful, as I nearly forgot a very special song selection for my mother.

Dealing with Yvonne/JL Music was very easy and low-stress. We planned everything via email, and when the big day came, they set up/played/took down/departed all on their own. I highly recommend JL Music Service for your event - they are classy, talented, and a pleasure to work with.

We don't have enough good things to say about Yvonne Johnson and her team. The music at our ceremony was beautiful, and perfectly timed and choreographed. Yvonne even played some songs that I love from some of my favorite bands - apparently, if it has a piano as a main track in the song, she can play it on cello/violin. Hearing the Avett Brothers at my wedding was absolutely amazing.

Working with Yvonne was nothing short of a pleasure. She responded very quickly to all correspondence, was very helpful, and went out of her way to meet our needs. At the ceremony her performance was incredible. We received several compliments and requests for her contact information from our guests. JL Music was the perfect choice to have play at my wedding! We had a very, very small intimate wedding ceremony and we got a cellist and violinist to play. The musicians played so beautifully and perfectly! We had them for the ceremony and for a little bit afterwards. Both the ceremony and reception music was so beautiful and flawless, we were so glad we got JL music to come to our wedding. You can choose from a variety of instruments/musicians, and you can also have as many musicians as they have, if you choose to! They are very flexible and if you have a last minute change in music or whatever they have you covered! Yvonne and her musicians are very nice and very sweet and very talented people! I would highly recommend this group especially if you don't want a DJ or a band at your wedding! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

We hired JL Music Service to play ceremony music at our wedding in Savannah, GA. They did a fantastic job! They were very responsive through email, and had a long list of songs available that they could play. They even found one of our songs in a lower key for our singer to be able to sing to! They played beautifully!

My daughter's wedding was held out door in a lovely square in Savannah. The harp and violin music made the whole setting seem ethereal! I asked for some musical selections that were not in the standard repetoire, and they were beautifully played. I highly recommend JL Music Service!

I (being the groom) tried to book ceremony musicians at essentially the last minute, and to my surprise (probably not anyone else's) almost everyone was booked solid. But I very fortunately came across JL Music Service online, and I'm very happy that I did.

Yvonne was very flexible to work with. Not only did she work with me only a few weeks before the wedding to put together a string trio, but we also wanted them to play a special song for us that wasn't on their list of common songs. She found the sheet music and got it to the musicians, and our special bridal march song was beautiful. In fact, with how excited and nervous we were during the ceremony, one of the only things my wife and I remember about when she walked down the aisle to meet me at the alter was the beautiful music that the trio was playing. Bravo!

The trio was professional and courteous. When I arrived at the ceremony location (Forsyth Park), they were setup and ready to go. I chatted with them for a few minutes before the ceremony, and their friendliness set my mind at ease. And when they started playing the Brandenburg Concerto #3, one of my favorite tunes, it was light and cheery and brought a smile to my face.

Bottom line: I'm very happy that I chose JL Music Service!

Absolute excellence. I was a long-distance bride working with a short deadline, and they made my entire experience great from start to finish. They were easy to communicate with, flexible, open, and their prices were more than fair. But most importantly, their musical taste and artistic talent was marvelous. Being a musician and a tad eccentric myself, I had rather specific ideas. They worked with me to find just the right music for my Regency-costumed ceremony in the historic Owens Thomas Garden. The day of the ceremony, their harpist and violinist's music blended perfectly with the setting, delighting all our guests, and carrying me gently down the garden path to my beloved. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

JL Music provided a duo violin and viola for our recent outdoor ceremony. They arrived in plenty of time before our ceremony began and played beautifully throughout. They were very affordable, professional, and quick to respond. We could not have asked for more!

Yvonne was great to work with. My wedding was in Savannah but we live in Florida so we did most of our communication over email and she was very responsive. JL's website has examples of music selections which I just loved because I had no idea what music to choose. The website gave me a great starting point and Yvonne had some great suggestions as well and was very flexible when I wanted some 'non-conventional' choices.
And the music? It was beautiful! I got to hear most of it while I was upstairs getting ready and I received so many compliments too. I highly recommend JL music.

I hired Yvonne as a solo violinist for my ceremony at the Marshall House.
JL music was very easy to work with. Prices were reasonable compared to other vendors in the area. Yvonne played at the ceremony and throughout the cocktail hour. The music was beautiful and added a nice touch to the wedding. There is a large selection of music including pop and latin which was nice. I highly recommend JL music for your ceremony music needs! The string quartet hired for my daughter's wedding added an exceptional touch to the church ceremony. Yvonne was easy to reach for all questions before the wedding. The group was accommodating and very willing to play one song that was new to them. They are professional and experienced and I never had to worry one minute about their ability to do their part. The church organist was able to work with this group very easily, and it was a stress free, wonderful experience for our family. I would definitely use this quartet again should an occasion arise, and would have great confidence in another successful experience.

JL Music Services was amazing to work with for my wedding. Yvonne was very professional and was extremely helpful. I wanted to mix in unique music selections with more classic ceremony music. Their song list crossed over many genres, and they were flexible learning a special song that I requested. We hired a string quartet through JL Music Service to play for our outdoor wedding at the Savannah Yacht Club. Yvonne was wonderful to work with. We had a friend who composed a piece for us and Yvonne had him send her the sheet music and the quartet played it for our Prelude. It was so special! I would highly recommend JL Music Service. Ms. Yvonne and her musicians were wonderful! I hired the trio to perform for my wedding ceremony in the evening in Telfair Historic Square in Savannah, GA and they were fantastic! They had the timing of everything just right, they played the type and style of music correctly, and they were professional in every sense of the way! Yvonne was so nice and easy going, it made me so much more relaxed thinking about the ceremony. I wasn't concerned about the music at all knowing she was taking care of it. Oh, and it was BEAUTIFUL! Yvonne Johnson and her trio were a wonderful part of our daughter's wedding. They were able to play every song we asked for including a new one a week before the wedding. They were not familiar with but found it and played it especially for the mother of the bride! I highly reccommend them!

It was so refreshing to have someone that knew what they were doing. When handling all the necessary arrangements and odds ends yourself that makes a wedding possible, you want someone that will treat that day with respect because that day means so much. Yvonne and the string trio I had perform at our Catholic Mass were great! They learned the Catholic hymns and responses so that I did not have to hire an additional musician. The trio sounded so beautiful from the balcony of the church, I am so pleased I used JL Music Services for my wedding!

They did an excellent job. There was a bit of a delay transitioning between our processional music to the music I walked in to. I’m not sure anyone noticed except me. Otherwise...they were amazing, they played flawlessly and everyone enjoyed them.

Yvonne was a pure pleasure to work with during the planning phase of the wedding and the day of. She got to the wedding site an hour early and coordinated with Coastal Creatives (my wedding package company) to make sure the ceremony was set up at the right place on the square. She did a wonderful job picking out the music for us based on our type of wedding so that was one less thing we had to worry about. Hire this company, you won't be disappointed!

Played great music, showed up on time, was professional. Overall very pleased except for the fact that they were a little impersonal. I had requested to meet with them prior to hear their music and was given the impression that that was not feasible. Never met them before the wedding and would have liked to.
