  I can't begin to explain how happy I was to have chosen Jessica for my engagement photos. She is extremely professional, and responded right away to any concerns I may have had. I was extremely nervous the day of my engagement, and she made me feel so at ease and comfortable during the whole shoot. Not only is she the sweetest person alive, she works very quick and I had my proofs in about a week. I was extremely pleased with my photos and have received tremendous compliments on them! I have recommended her to everyone I know, and cannot wait for my wedding just to work with her again! There is not one bad thing I can say about Jessica, do yourself a favor and hire her for your next engagement/wedding!

  Arguably the best photographer in the Detroit Metropolitain area. Jessica has a gifted lens , and I'm not talking about her camera. She has a great eye and vision for all of her clients' photographs. She's super professional, wonderfully pleasant to work with and uber talented. I would recommend her to everyone who is looking for a reliable photographer.

  First and for most I just wanted to thank Jessica for her hard work and effort she put into not only my pictures but my entire wedding In general. I did my love shoot with Jessica and I received my pictures in no time. The pictures were beautifully done and captured everything I could ever ask for. I knew right then Id found the best photographer to capture my wedding beautifully as well and so she did. My wedding pictures came I and I couldn't have been more happier, I was obsessed! I would definitely recommend Jessica Kobeissi, she is by far the best photographer Ive came across.

  First and for most I just wanted to thank Jessica for her hard work and effort she put into not only my pictures but my entire wedding In general. I did my love shoot with Jessica and I received my pictures in no time. The pictures were beautifully done and captured everything I could ever ask for. I knew right then Id found the best photographer to capture my wedding beautifully as well and so she did. My wedding pictures came I and I couldn't have been more happier, I was obsessed! I would definitely recommend Jessica Kobeissi, she is by far the best photographer Ive came across.

  Jessica is very easy and amazing to work with!!
  She was super helpful in explaining her packages and guiding us through the process prior to the wedding day. We were able to show her some examples of what we liked and certain shots we really wanted to attain.
  On the actual day she and the second shooter were awesome at conducting their shots, not interrupting the events, and capturing all the best moments!!
  Even after the big day she was quick with our proofs, edits, retouching, and final images. Her retouching style is fantastic and captures perfectly such a beautiful day.

  Jessica is very easy and amazing to work with!!

  Jessica encaptured our wedding day perfectly. Our photos turned out phenomenal. My husband and I got married at a rustic barn venue. Jessica was able to work around the unique environment and most importantly made the wedding photos a blast to take! As a normally camera shy individual, Jessica made me feel very comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. While working with her, you could really tell she not only has an eye for her work but also the passion. Jessica was incredibly attentive, personable, professional, accommodating and timely. She also did my surprise engagement photos! I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed! We can't thank her enough for making our wedding day extra special.

  There is no one else that I could recommend more for engagement or wedding photos! She is quite literally the best photographer in the Detroit area and she has a unique eye for capturing moments. Her work is truly one of a kind, which was why I chose Jessica to capture my engagement photos after seeing her work all over of the internet. I knew that I could not settle for anything less. She is so kind, patient, polite, and professional. I will be the first to admit that I had a few annoying family members try to stand in front of her and block her to take their own photos, but not once did Jessica lose her composure and she stayed smiling the whole night. Unfortunately, Jessica's arm was badly injured just a couple days before my engagement, but that did not stop her. She still pushed through the pain and did not back down on me for my big day. There is no telling how much I appreciate that she still came and took breath taking photos of me and my fiance with a bandaged up arm! There is no doubt that I will also be booking her for my save the date photoshoot and wedding as well because of how amazing my engagement photos turned out.

  Jessica was the sweetest photographer I could have hoped for! She knew exactly what I wanted from the sample pictures I showed her. Our engagement photos were so amazing, I had to have her for our wedding. We did the horse stables and although I was so awkward on the horse, she somehow made me look graceful. She was very flexible and allowed me to have some input in terms of comfort and poses! I have the best photos and memories thanks to her! She is also very reasonably priced.

  I wish I could give a 10 star review. Jessica is by far the best decision I made for my wedding day - better than my husband! She was more than a photographer - she became a support system. She went above and beyond for me - which she does for all of her clients. She helped me pick locations, set a schedule for the day, made vendor suggestions, and really just listened to all of my worries and concerns about the wedding as well as the marriage. On top of her incredible generosity and kindness, her photography is stunning. She is an extremely talented photographer and a brilliant graphic designer. Unlike most photographers, she knows how to captures moments. My wedding photographs are more than just beautiful pictures - they are capsules of joy and love. You can actually feel how we felt in the photographs. I absolutely loved Jessica's work and recommend her to everyone I know. She is worth every single penny (and then some)! She is professional, real, personable, receptive, accommodating, supportive - she is simply the best.
  
  I would like to include that I did not have any encounter with Jessica prior to signing a wedding photography contract with her. I will, however, hire Jessica for any future events, and I recommend her to every person I meet.

  Jessica is easily the best decision my wife and I made on our wedding day. She was so unbelievably helpful in so many ways. When my wife was stressing out the weeks before the wedding, Jessica even took it upon herself to calm her down!
  
  But of course you are reading this review because you are looking for a photographer, and look no further because Jessica is amazing. The thing I love most about the photos that Jessica takes is that they look much more natural than other wedding photos I have seen. There really isn't much more I can say about the quality of her photos, they are perfect.
  
  Jessica is always professional, patient, and extremely helpful on the wedding day. She is also super funny and friendly! Her prices are very fair and competitive.
  
  I recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding, you will be so happy!

  We searched high and low for a photographer that not only knew the trade, but was passionate about what she did. With Jessica it wasn't about how many hours it took to get all the perfect shots, or what it took to get them. She went above and beyond without anyone giving her the slightest notion that she should. Jessica just knew what she needed to do and she did it amazingly! If you are on the fence about who to go with when your big day arrives, I would highly recommend Jessica.

  Jessica was the first vendor I booked simply because I wanted to ensure I had her locked in for my wedding; I am so happy that did! I met with her prior to the wedding and shared my vision which she definitely brought that to life with my wedding photos! I left the meeting truly feeling great, knowing that I was in great hands. She is incredibly sweet, professional and really has an eye for photography! I highly recommend her — you'll love your photos just as much as I loved mine!!!

  My husband and I were extremely satisfied with Jessica's photos for our engagement. Prior to the day, we met with her and she explained how everything would go and made us feel comfortable enough to ask questions about anything we didn't understand. The day of, I remember it being so hot and humid and even though we were so tired and uncomfortable she made the photos look amazing! Her professionalism and personality made our engagement day/photos that much better. I wish I could do it all over again. I highly recommend her for wedding OR engagement photos.

I wanted someone who was going to help capture my fiancé and I's true, honest smiles. Jessica was everything we wanted! I originally met her at my sister's senior pictures shoot, where we had an absolute blast! For our engagement shoot, she listened to all that we asked of (use of certain props), and emphasized all the right angles, and emotions. Our love and this special time was Jessica's No. 1 focus, and it is so evident in our pictures. Jessica was so professional, FUN, on time, and is so obviously passionate! She will be our go-to for all our future photo shoots! Look no further! This is it, people!

  I wish I didn't have to write this review but if I can save someone else some heartache, then it's worth it. I was surprised by her requests in the contract of not allowing anyone else to take photos and only releasing a limited number of high res files, but I went with her anyways. Her attitude like the other reviewers said is not great. Onsite she was a bit snippy with me but she told me she wasn't feeling well, so I gave her some slack. Post wedding, it got worse. When an online blog wanted to feature my MUA's work, Jessica would not release the pictures unless she got paid. I explained that the MUA paid money for that feature and because she didn't allow other people to take photos that day, she tied her hands. She made a YouTube video of worst clients and I made the cut because I asked her to release the photos to the online blog. She scoffed at the fact that she was getting exposure instead of getting paid again to feature the work that I had already paid her for. This is not Vogue. When I called her out on the video she told me it wasn't about me, but eventually released the pictures.
  
  Finally, I purchased a package for 150 photos, but when I asked her for 2 additional photos (which I knew I would have to pay for, per the contract), she told me that she has the right to refuse to do it. This is two months after asking for the photos multiple times and being told that she would get to them. Let that sink in. I cannot redo my wedding day. I cannot get those two important photos of family and friends. Is that the kind of person you want to shoot your wedding? I'm so completely disheartened by this experience. I treated her with respect and courtesy and it feels awful to be treated this way. I never write reviews but I wish I had known all this before I booked her. Please choose another vendor who will treat you better. It's such an important day, and photos are all you will have to remember it.

  I wanted to take a moment to respond to this review because I know who wrote this personally.
  Erika has received every photo she paid for in her package that was agreed to in our contract. All info was discussed and agreed to upon signing a contract, which was reviewed by both parties, so I am unsure why her review now claims she was so "surprised”, since she also received a copy of this same contract.
  This bride sent me a $100 tip after her wedding with a hand written card thanking me for the job that I did, which completely contradicts her review on my professionalism and attitude ("snippy", "things got worse", etc). I don't believe she would have taken the time to tip me or write a handwritten thank you if she did not appreciate the work and respect I provided to her.
  Months after receiving all her photos, Erika had no complaints with me. Her animosity towards me started only when I declined what she had asked after my job with her was complete - to give my full res photos (for free) to a magazine that her friend (MUA) wanted to be featured in. As all photographers know, and Erika stated, exposure doesn't help pay bills unless it ends up in Vogue, so I would require the magazine to pay for usage of my photos.
  Erika had also requested 2 more photos to be edited months after I sent her finished photos, while asking me repeatedly to submit my photos to the magazine, while becoming more bitter. In our contract, I do state that I have the right to decline EXTRA edits if my time does not allow me to, simply because I have other clients to assist to.
  In an effort to make amends with this bride, I ended up submitting the photos to the magazine, but received this review in response.
  I spent months retouching the images & I did my job to the fullest capacity, and do so with each of my clients. I know how important each bride's wedding day is and that importance is shown through my work ethic & professionalism.
  I wish Erika, her family, & friends all of the best.
