Dj jim is just the best!

Choosing Jim to be our DJ and MC was one of the best decisions we made when it came to wedding planning. He made everything easy.

Jim is an expert who has done this a thousand times and has the experience to make your event go perfectly. My husband and I met with Jim several times to discuss the timeline, the flow of events, the vibes we wanted, the vibes we *didn’t* want, anything you could imagine – Jim covers it in his meetings leading up to the event. He’s incredibly thorough. He uses all of the information he gets from you to personalize your wedding/event. He is very communicative. He takes initiative to communicate and work with the other vendors you choose to make sure everything runs smoothly.

As MC, he paced the night perfectly. We loved that he always kept us and the guests informed about where the event was headed next. We got so many compliments from our friends and family on the music and a lot of other details that were taken care of by Jim. I was honestly really nervous that there wouldn’t be much dancing and that the night would turn awkward, but Jim made sure that my worry was needless. I was shocked at how many of our guests were with us on the dance floor all night.

Overall, we were thrilled to work with Jim. He was warm and friendly and easy to work with. Between him and our other vendors, we felt so taken care of and reassured on our wedding day. Everything went smoothly and we were free to have a great time with our guests because it was all under control. We truly can’t recommend Jim enough!

Jim Horn is the best DJ I've worked with!

I was a vendor working alongside Jim and had a fantastic experience with his invaluable knowledge and "can do" attitude! He was responsive, and helpful, and led the night from a team mindset! His careful leadership was a breath of fresh air! I can't wait for the next one, Jim!

Jim did such a great job getting our guests involved in the reception! I was worried people would be too shy to dance but that wasn’t an issue at all! We would highly recommend DJ Jim Horn! He was an essential part of making our wedding magical!

Nothing short of amazing!

Jim was so amazing to work with! He answered every question we had in a timely fashion, and he didn’t hesitate to help us when we needed it. DJ Jim Horn is the absolute BEST in the business! He made all of our dreams come true! We instantly connected with him when we first emailed and we knew from then on he was the only one to DJ our wedding! Phenomenal!!!

I can't imagine money could buy a better DJ/MC than Jim Horn!! He kept the dance floor rockin all night long!!! Very professional, very flexible, very accommodating!! He is the one "vendor" out of all of them that we didn't have to worry about! He had it together from start to finish!!

Jim could not have done a better job at our wedding. He was so easy to communicate with, setting up, and entertaining flawlessly and keeping the crowd on their feet. One of the best decisions we made was hiring Jim as our dj/master of ceremony!! Not only did he provide a planned out timeline for us, he responded promptly, accommodated whatever we asked, was very personable, and made the whole process stress free and wonderful!!! When it comes to your DJ, don't let the price get in the way. Jim Horn Entertainment was worth EVERY penny spent! I've never had so much fun at a wedding. Our guests had such a good time and loved the games the Jim played for them. Music was constantly being played and it was the actual music I requested, not something he just "felt" like playing. He was more than just a DJ who plays music. He helped me finalize all my wedding planning from the caterer to the photographer. While at the reception, he kept the crowd going and smiles on every face. I still have guests telling us how much they had! We love Jim Horn Entertainment and would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Jim Horn is the best DJ and MC. I hired him because I previously went to two other weddings he did and he is the best on the coast. He is very professional and pays attention to detail. He takes away all your worries and stress. He plays anything you want and very entertaining. I loved all the special details and I will never forget all the things he did to make our wedding so memorable. He is not only a friend but like family now.

Jim Horn was more than I could have ever wished for in an MC/DJ. He is truly every bride's dream come true with his timeliness, organizational skills and providing a fun atmosphere for our rehearsal and reception. We had terrible weather during the outside reception and Jim Horn stuck out the weather with us, and continued to provide excellent service even during the terrible conditions. I would recommend him to any person for any event!

Jim really goes above and beyond for his clients. My wedding isn't until mid 2017, and he's already provided me with everything I need for my day. When I first contacted him, he was so quick to respond and make me feel comfortable. He even met with me at my convenience, talked me through all his services, and made me feel like my wedding was his top priority. He really does care about his clients!! Jim is more than just a DJ/MC... He's someone who is going to make your wedding exactly how you want it and 100% stress free. Very personable, reasonably priced, and professional. BEST WEDDING EVER! Jim Horn went above and beyond to make our day amazing! From the second we contacted him, he was a wealth of knowledge. He began providing us with information and advice before we even signed a contract! Planning our ceremony and reception music, entertainment, and special touches was easy with Jim by our side. He made sure we were prepared for everything. We had so many special songs, voice overs, mash-ups, and surprises built into our ceremony and reception. We were never worried with Jim by our side. Our dance floor was packed all night, the lights looked fantastic, and everyone had a blast! If you need assistance or advice planning your big day and want an A+ vendor by your side, I would highly recommend Jim Horn Entertainment!

Jim is awesome and absolutely great to work with!! He helps everything to run smoothly by contacting venders and making sure everyone is on the same timeline. He coordinates arrival times for all venders and makes sure everyone has an amplitude amount of time to set up. As far as planning goes, Jim is again amazing. He contacts back extremely fast and will make any suggestions you need all the way from venders he has worked with or simple suggestions to make the wedding day flow better. This makes wedding planning become alot less stressful! We also had Jim for our ceremony, and I would say it is a total PLUS to have him there. Everyone could hear everything, which is sometimes hard to have with outdoor weddings. He has a song for every moment and has suggestions for you incase your not sure what to play. He even puts in fun songs, if you would like to, to make the ceremony more personal. Then after the ceremony he makes sure all of the guest know where to go and directs them to their next place. He takes out the confusion of now what do we do. Now for our reception the power did go out for roughly 10 mins, but Jim handled it great!!!! He kept everyone and everything calm and moving along as planned until it came back on!!! He kept everything very interesting for absolutely everyone at the reception!!!! THE GUEST LOVED HIM! I would recommend him to anyone, because he helps to make the day absolutely perfect and I'm so glad we booked him!!!!

We could not have asked for a better DJ/MC. Jim Horn was the best MC I have ever seen. All of the guests at our wedding were so pleased, and every time we see our family and friends they still brag about how awesome Jim was. He was always professional and so attune to the mood of the crowd; everyone was always having fun! There was never a dull moment of the night - people were always dancing...even people who never dance at events! If you want to have a fun-filled night and keep your guests happy, I highly recommend Jim Horn. He also met with me and my husband on several occasions to get to know us more on a personal level so he could personalize our wedding. We communicated via email, phone call, and text on several occasions for any of our needs. I could go on and on about how awesome he was, but I'll leave it at that. Hire Jim Horn for your DJ/MC needs!

Jim Horn exceeded traditional wedding reception expectations. In prior wedding receptions I have attended, the DJ announces the couple and plays songs throughout the evening with a few allusions to the couple and their song preferences. However, Jim Horn made the wedding reception a completely unique, upbeat, and personalized experience! He produced a special introduction video in which the couple was able to reminisce about their love and the quality of the video was fantastic. Additionally, he coordinated a personalized bridal party introduction which told a story of the relationship of each member of the bridal party. He kept the crowd energized and dancing all night and his enthusiasm for his job is very evident. It was great how he was so well-spoken and really took the time to know everyone close to the couple. He even videoed the crowd so Melissa and Christian could have those memories! The events of the wedding reception flowed wonderfully and were very organized! I definitely recommend his services!

I am a photographer who worked with Mr. Horn. He was wonderful! The way he managed the events of the reception was masterful!! Because of his organization of time and communication with other vendors everyone had fun and was able to enjoy every aspect of the reception!

Jim Horn is the best MC in the biz! He prepared every detail before the big day which made the reception run so smoothly. He took charge and gathered everyone's attention for important aspects of the ceremony where most people lose attention such as the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss. He added unique touches that wowed our guests, and made sure that everyone was having a blast. He contacted our other vendors (photographer, caterer) and made sure that everyone knew the timeline which kept everything organized. I HIGHLY recommended hiring Jim for your event, because he truly made my wedding reception unforgettable!

Jim did a wonderful job with the introductions and music for our wedding. He is very thorough and prepared. He is also very easy to talk to and professional to work with. Jim Horn was a wonderful DJ at our wedding and reception. He ran a flawless ceremony and made a fun atmosphere for our reception. He kept all of our guests informed of what was going on and kept everyone involved. He made our wedding reception a blast! I would highly recommend him. I can't think of anybody who could have done a better job. He was extremely professional, organized, and a joy to work with while planning our wedding. Thank you Jim for making our reception so great!

Awesome! Now that I've been spoiled with a Jim Horn hosted wedding, no others will compare! DJ does not do him justice, he really is a host. If not for Jim Horn, my reception would have been so chaotic! He helped organize every detail of what I wanted & made it flow together. He played great music that he let us be so involved in picking out! He has such an enchanting personality it pulls people to the dance floor! I would definitely recommend Jim Horn! He really made our night!

Jim is such a fun guy to work with! He made sure that everything we wanted was done at our reception. We had many, many compliments on how entertaining and fun it was. We would recommend him to anyone that does not want a boring and dull reception!

Jim was absolutely wonderful. Several guests commented on how great the organization wAs. Everyone knew exactly what was going on, where to be and when to be there bc of him. He was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended!

Jim Horn is worth his weight in gold! My husband and I have VERY different tastes in music. Jim was able to provide the perfect balance for me, him, and our guests. It was a magical evening! We could have rocked all night! He definitely kept the party and the fun rolling. I didn't have to worry or micromanage. If you are open and honest with him about what you really want, he will make your event magical too!!!!

Jim was amazing; from our first meeting with my fiance, mother and myself he won us over with his attention to detail and over all confidence that no matter what, our wedding was going to be fantastic. He calmed fears and gave knowledgable insight during our planning meetings; and on the day of our wedding we knew that our music and master of ceremonies was taken care of.
Jim did so many specialized details for us such as our Love Story, first dance voice-overs and our Grand Entrance. We are still getting compliments about the level of personal detail throughout the wedding especially with the music and overall ambiance that Jim provided. As the temperatures dropped at the reception many people started to scatter but my grandmother held fast, wrapped herself up, drank coffee just to watch us dance and listen to Jim. At the end of the night she made sure to tell Jim how wonderful he did. She told me later that he's "such a nice young man" and he sure knows how to make a wedding special.

Jim Horn was not ONLY extremely organized, he really got involved with everyone at the reception and made everyone feel welcomed. His ideas were one of a kind and he was totally open to all new-sometimes last minute-ideas. Jim also kept the energy in the room going and knew how to minimize any unwanted drama, which allowed us to visit everyone and not miss the important events throughout the evening. Every guest came up to us and exclaimed that our reception was the best they've ever been to.
Jim thoroughly impressed family, friends, clients and especially us!

Jim was as great as he could be. More than what we expected in most MC's. Everyone loved the intros as it was a new and a different aspect that is never touched on with anyone else. He kept everything rolling and made us at ease as he took care of everything for us. Best thing we could have asked for.

Jim Horn is the most proffessional DJ that I have ever met. I have been working in the Banqueting business for 18 years and I have met a ton of DJ's and he is at the top of my list. I use Jim for my own son's wedding on 9/11/10 and I have had so many compliments on his services from my guest. Jim spends alot time with the Bride and Groom and does a complete intenary for the day of the wedding. If my daughter ever decides to marry, I will not call anyone else but Jim. He's the best!!!

Jim was one of my favorite vendors to work with for me and my husband's wedding. He is professional and dependable. He made our wedding memorable, unique, classy, fun, and fabulous which was everything I wanted and dreamed of. Jim allowed me and my husband to have so many wonderful memories at our wedding. I especially loved having our own personalized wedding song and a version of our very own love story. That is something that my husband and I will always remember and cherish. We laughed, we cried, and we smiled. And our guests still remember it. Jim is also not just a disc jockey, he is more than that. He ensured that everything ran smoothly at the reception and was able to get the guests involved so everyone was having an amazing time. Jim's hard work as our master of ceremonies allowed us to have so many beautiful wedding pictures.

I also love that anything that Jim says he will do, he does it. He met with me as many times as I needed and planned out everything ahead of time. He made everything so easy and stress-free, which is exactly what you need when you are planning a wedding. Jim will also coordinate with your other wedding vendors which is very helpful. Lastly, I loved that he was with me from the beginning of my planning process to the end of our wedding. Jim is more that just the master of ceremonies from my wedding, he is now a friend for life.

Jim is the best DJ I have encountered!! As a Sorority member, I attended many events with DJ's and never have I had such a great experience. Jim is great with getting the crowd to dance and interact throughout the entire reception. He is very professional with his services and arrives to the location way before the reception starts so that everything is set up and ready to go when the wedding party and guests arrive. The Wedding Story is a great way to share your lives with each of the guests. Jim adds lots of "extras" to make the story funny! Jim's DJ service is very unique and one that every guest will really enjoy!

I have been in the wedding business for seven years and worked all over the country. I have worked with many bands, DJ's and MC's and without a doubt I have never worked with someone as professional and talented as Jim Horn Entertainment.

Before the wedding he provided me with a full schedule of the ceremony and reception events. And at the wedding he made sure I knew what was up next and made sure we had time for photographs.

He even helped carry in chairs from outside when it began to rain.

As a wedding photographer and wedding professional, I can attest to the shortage of DJs/MCs with his talent and professionalism.

To add, I used Jim Horn Entertainment personally for my wedding five years ago, and my friends and family still comment on how fun my reception was, thanks to Jim.

Jim Horn was extremely easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. He truly was sincere in ensuring he pronounced our names and our wedding party's names correctly, and we appreciated the time and effort he took b/c his pronounciation was flawless at our reception. He adhered to our song selections and provided suggestions to songs and other wedding reception-related events (games for the couple, longest married couple dance, etc). He was timely by arriving at our reception location and setting up early. Our guests enjoyed his enthusiasm and professional demeanor during the reception - he even joined in the dancing! As he emceed our reception, Jim was unhurried and not overbearing; his voice was clear and understandable, and the flow of our planned events was seamless. We didn't have to worry about a thing during our reception as Jim made sure we were having a great time throughout the reception. We recommend Jim Horn as a DJ every time we learn of someone getting married or needing a DJ/emcee for their event. He's fantastic!
