Would use again and again

I loved working with Jim for my big day, I couldn't have asked for a better person to do my pictures! He did a wonderful job with my engagement pictures, bridal pictures, and the wedding.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Jim Byrd Photography was amazing. Professional, yet warm and friendly, they captured our wedding day with a special touch. Jim and his wife, Cyd, are a fantastic team! From the first moment my husband, Tyler and I sat down with them to tell them about our vision for the wedding, we knew we were in good hands. Jim has a wonderful eye for the unique and he truly captured the love and spirit of our wedding day. Cyd, worked magic with the photo editing and album arrangement, bringing the most special day of our lives to life again!

Great wedding photographer

We hired Jim to photograph our daughters wedding in Oct. 2018. He did a great job. We had him as a photographer for our wedding in 1994!

Professional and fun photographer

Jim and Cyd do a tremendous job with engagement and wedding photos. They are very friendly and down to earth people, and we consider them as friends. I am the bride, and I can say hands down Jim and Cyd did a perfect job with all our photos. They are attentive to your needs, and they capture the “wow” moments well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer, and I recommend them to my friends as they take the next step in their relationships. Thanks again Jim and Cyd!

Jim perfectly captured our personalities and our wedding day!!!! After much messaging researching, emailing, etc. other possible photographers, I CALLED Jim and he answered his phone!!! I’m so thankful none of the others responded in a timely fashion!!!! Jim is relaxed, easy-going, and was SO willing to accommodate our second wedding needs.
When I told him that neither of us could even remember how to pose, he assured me he would direct us and that our pics would be fabulous!! And they are!!!
We didn’t have family, bridesmaids and the trappings of traditional first weddings, we just had US and an intimate dinner reception for our closest friends. We never even knew Jim was there, but he really got every moment and every detail from before the ceremony to the dinner.
CALL Jim..... he is awesome!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Jim for capturing moments that we will cherish forever! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mr. Jim was awesome! We had a very large wedding party. 22 people total. He handle us all by himself. Mr. Jim captured all the fun we had at the wedding and reception. His prices were very reasonable.

Jim did a wonderful job with our wedding. He was there before I was and even stayed late. Jim and Cyd, his wife, were both easy to contact and would respond timely to any message or calls. Thank you both for doing such a wonderful job on everything -- engagement photos, bridal portraits, photo sign in book, wedding day pictures and Cyd did an amazing job on the wedding album!

Jim did a wonderful job doing my daughters wedding. He caught some of the sweetest moments during the ceremony. And after during the reception he was everywhere! He worked so hard to make sure we got every picture we wanted and then some. He stayed to the very end and the pictures turn out amazing. My wife and I loved having Jim Byrd as our photographer on our big day. He was very easy to work with and flexible. The photos came out amazing and he had them back to us very quickly. He made sure to capture every important moment! Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Jim had done an excellent job at my best friend's wedding and I knew from there that we wanted to use Jim as our photographer. We met up with him and let him know our vision for our wedding photos, and he honestly hit our goal out of the park! He has an amazing passion for capturing memories and our photos turned out better than I can describe. Jim was patient with us, he made sure our poses were just right and the pictures were stunning. I would recommend his services to anyone who wants to remember all of the special moments of their wedding day.

We worked with Jim for both our engagement and wedding photos, both were of excellent quality and variety. Jim was amazingly easy to work with. I told him the basics of what I was wanting and he obliged. Aaron and I could not be happier with the outcome. We had a very large selection of photos to choose from. His value is excellent. You get a lot for what you pay for with Jim. Cyd, his wife, does the editing and they turn out beautiful! Jim was very accommodating from the beginning; We wanted to include pictures at the skydiving place where my husband proposed to me skydiving in our engagement photos and downtown ft worth since that's where we met. Jim gladly set up a day with us to make sure we got all that we wanted.

Jim is awesome! I booked our engagement session, bridal portraits and our wedding photography with him. If you like posed photography, he's the guy to go with. He books up fast but his pictures are amazing! We booked him at a bridal show right after we got engaged so it allowed us lots of time to plan each of our sessions.
His wife, Cyd, does amazing work with the editing too! The editing she did on my bridals left me speechless.
They respond to emails quickly and phone calls also.

I can't say enough about Jim. I love...love his work. Jim is a true professional. He listened to what we wanted and made it happened. He was creative and made sure that we not only had the traditional wedding shots, but some unique ones as well. Working with Jim, he made sure that we were relaxed and having fun. He made me feel so special the day of my wedding and helped make sure everyting was going as planned. The quality of his work is truly amazing. His made it hard to pick out my favorite, because they are all so good. I truly believe my wedding would have been so different if I hadn't gone with Jim, and not for the better. I feel so lucky that I was able to have him as my photography at the wedding. You can't go wrong with Jim!

I met Jim Byrd at a Bridal Fair and was very impressed by his beautiful work and professionalism. I knew that he would be the best photographer for my big day! He did our engagement photos, my bridal shoot, our wedding and reception. To say that we were pleased with his work would be an understatement! Jim Byrd is a highly skilled and creative photographer. His quality of services is top notch and he is very accommodating in all aspects of planning and executing his work.

We very much enjoyed our experience of working with Jim and he did an excellent job of capturing all aspects of the wedding day.

He offers a variety of valuable packages to choose from and presents beautiful portraits and photos that are very unique.

Working with Jim and Cyd made a very stressful time in wedding preparation much easier. They make are great team and are very accommodating; this coming from clients who are quite particular. We received many compliments on the engagement, bridal and wedding photographs. The wedding album was simply gorgeous, and was obviously very time consuming. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again (though thankfully no more weddings in this family lol) and would recommend them to anyone seeking quality and professionalism in their vendors.

We are so happy we decided to go with Jim Byed photography. He has gone above and beyond to satisfy us. We do not have an regrets or seconds thoughts on choosing him! He was always on time, had a very flexible schedule, and most importantly captured our wedding like no other photographer could! I get to re-live my wedding day over again every time I look at our pictures! I would recommend him to anyone!

Jim was very easy to work with; he and his wife Cyd make a great team. I'll be the first to admit my daughter and I are demanding clients, and they worked with us in every way possible to get what we envisioned. My only caution is not to assume anything - for example my son and his wife had received all of their engagement pics with print right as part of their package. This is not common and we should've asked more questions since we are both the type that want every picture! Still their package prices on engagement and bridal portraits allowed us to purchase probably more than we needed. Jim is a very hard worker; he earns every penny. Our wedding pictures were fabulous and I believe he got every shot we could've wanted. He seemed to be well known in the industry and worked well with our other vendors. Another thing that is very important to me is responsiveness; Our emails never went unanswered for any length of time. When you are planning a wedding, you do not have time to chase down vendors. If you are looking for great value, quality, unique shots and dependability, you can't go wrong with Jim Byrd.

Jim is a very professional photographer. He is an amazing artist with his photography and caught amazing action shot photos during the wedding. Jim in not your typical photographer where he has a time limit with you, he stayed until the very end when the bride and groom left. The website he uses for proofs for the friends and family to see in fantastic. No words can explain the final album, just beautiful and we have never seen anything like it before. I would HIGHLY recommend Jim and Cyd for your photographer.

Jim and Cyd are an inspiring couple who not only work well together but each with their own talents create amazing work. We did engagements, bridals, and wedding pictures with them. Jim gets in there and works, he is very passionate about his poses and in the moment he gets this idea and he roles with it, he loves trying new things and he will work very hard to make it work. We had one hour to do our engagements at the Ballpark in Arlington and he got so many shots in that shoot that you would have thought we were there for hours.

Cyd puts all she has into her editing and creating books for her clients. She makes it so easy to go through each picture to pick the ones to keep and the ones to put aside. The packages they offer are unbeatable when you compare all that you get to other wedding photographers. I highly recommend Jim Byrd Photography

JIM WAS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH! He made sure that all of my wants and demands were met. and had great suggestions throughout our engagement pictures and wedding day photos! We first met Jim at a local bridal show and I first fell in love with his ablums he had on display. I told my husband that he was the photographer I wanted because I have been told time and time again to invest in my wedding pictures bc "it would be all you will have left of that special day" after looking around and visiting with other photographers. We knew that Jim was who we wanted. just by getting to know him and his wife, Cyd, that they would be perfect! and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR PICTURES AND BEST OF ALL WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ALBUM THAT WE CAN PROUDLY SHOW TO ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Which they all have oooed and awwed over how beautiful it is! My daughter and I met a number of photographers maybe nine throughout the metroplex. While there is alot of talent in the area , we felt at ease with Jim as he answered all of our questions pertaining to his equipment, lighting, composition, and pricing. His pricing on various packages was easy to understand compared to others. His experience is one of the things that set him apart along with listening to what type of photo format my daughter was looking for. Jim is easy to talk to and made the whole event seamless. The engagement pictures nice, bridal proofs absolutely stunning, and wedding photos a lifetime of incredible memories.

Jim Byrd is a great photographer with experience and an eye for detail! This guy knows what he is doing and you know that you will get GREAT photos in the end! Our engagement photos turned out fantastic and I have worries at ALL about our wedding photos. I am more worried that Jim never seemed to stop taking photos to eat during the reception!

I know his extreme focus is greatly in our favor for amazing photos, but my only suggestion is: if you are tired of photos just say NO! HA! My fiance's side of the family hates photos and he kept trying to get them to do poses. They said no once, twice, Jim got the hint and moved on :)

I can't wait to see the wedding prints!

Jim did an excellent, professional job of photographing our daughter's wedding. She chose the package that included engagement pictures, bridal pictures, and the wedding. Her wedding was an out of area wedding (Georgetown) as well as outdoors, and and we all have beautiful pictures and albums to remember their day. He worked with everyone in a very professional manner and there are plenty of pictures of all the special moments of the prepping, outdoor wedding, and reception, and everything in between. Her most special pictures she wanted were sunset, and they are just gorgeous! She also has the special guestbook that he makes with their engagement photos on each set of pages and also embraces the cover of the book! I highly reccommend his services!!!!!! A big WOW for quality of pictures and service!!!!!!!

I don't think we could have found a better photographer for our wedding. Jim loves what he does and you can tell, at the wedding my family loved him and thought he was such a fun photographer! Jim always knew how to tell me and everyone else in the pictures how to pose and as weird as it may have felt sometime, all the pictures turned out great! Thanks Jim and Cyd for all the wonderful pictures that will be memories for a lifetime!

Jim Byrd did an awesome job on our wedding and engagement photos. He really puts a lot of thought into the positioning to make the pictures look perfect!! It was really hard to choose the pictures for the album because he had taken so many. And the price was very fair.

I really enjoyed having Jim as my wedding photographer. He has great packages that were worth every penny!!! He was very puntual to all of our sessions and had great ideas for a variety of shots. His wife does a great job with all the editing!!! You must get an album from them, I absolutely LOVED mine!!!!

Jim and Cyd did an excellent job with my daughters wedding. They captured all of the moments they experienced. We have a wonderful reminder of that perfect day. We even had engagemnet and bridal portraits done and they all turned out perfect! I would recommend Jim for anyone's wedding. The value is wonderful and allowed me to do some things I might not have been able to afford otherwise.

Great value- he gives you so much for a small price compared to many other photographers. He even gives you the rights to all of your wedding photos, which is very hard to come by these days. We had a few complaints from our guests that he pushed some of them out of the way or may have been a little rude. But he was just trying to capture the best moments. We are very pleased with the finished product.

Jim did a great job photographing our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding photographs. He was willing to work with us in order to achieve the package that we needed for our needs. His wife, Cyd, does a great job organizing the album and putting finishing touches on the photos. Jim was everywhere during our wedding and reception...I don't think he sat down at all. For working by himself, he did a great job of capturing all the treasured moments. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer that offers great service without the big expense of some of the photographers out there today.

Jim and Cyd are a great team. They worked with me in many situations and had my best at interest. They offer an array of creative products and services including exclusive save the dates and mini accordion-like picture albums great for party favors. I highly recommend Jim as photographer.

From the beginning we were told by Jim that he would have an assistant at every event (engagement pics, bridal portraits & wedding) to help him with cameras, people handling, etc. NO assistant came to either engagement picture setting, but we were given promises that one would be at the other events; NO assistant at bridal portraits, but another promise; NO assistant at wedding! Jim was continuously rude to the bridal party and to the family, from young to elderly. If his assistant had shown up at the wedding, he/she could have had everyone lined up and ready for pics instead of Jim having to take the time to get everyone's attention, lining them up and moving them around. This is a happy event with people visiting, laughing and moving around; you can't expect everyone to be solemn waiting on his next command. Many times throughout the wedding we apologized to our family and friends for his rudeness. We were promised the proofs in 4-6 weeks; 2-3 weeks AFTER the promised date and after several emails/phone calls we finally got the proofs. Many pictures were really nice, some not so, but in all we ended up with plenty to choose from for the various albums/books. I just felt like it was always an uphill battle to get this all done from not having anyone to assist him, dealing with his rudeness, to getting the end product months and months and months after the wedding (also a problem in getting proofs/pictures timely after engagement and bridal portraits were taken & promised). Once you realize this is going to be problem, you've paid too much money and it's too late to arrange for another photographer for your special date. Please take your time in choosing someone. This is an extremely expensive part of the wedding and the part that helps provide that lasting memory. Don't let broken promises ruin your day!
