Makeup of my dreams

Jill recently did my wedding makeup, and WOW she has a gift. Somehow she was able to make me look flawless, but at the same time like I barely had makeup on. I have never seen myself look that good, and it's all because of her. She was such a calming presence on the morning of my wedding and I can't thank her enough for making me look exactly the way I dreamed of on my wedding day. Jill is simply the best!

Facials or Makeup, Jill Does it All!

After being introduced to Jill by my beautiful friend Kate, I was confident already that I had picked the "right one". From the moment I met Jill during my bridal makeup trial, I felt like we were long lost friends that had known each other for years! I was originally blown away by her talent when I saw my face for the first time after the trial. I had jaw surgery about 3 months prior, and so for the first time in a long time Jill made me feel so beautiful that I couldn't stop crying in the car (makeup stayed on perfectly even with my tears so I was even more impressed with her talented makeup job).

A week before my wedding I decided I wanted to also have a professional HydraFacial done and again, Jill was my go to friend. After several years of adult acne, I wanted to make sure that my face was nice and clean before my wedding day. I spent a Friday afternoon and let me tell you, a HydraFacial is worth every penny. I walked out of my appointment with glowing skin and the picture does not even do it justice.

The big day finally rolled around and Jill came over to my parents’ house to get all of my bridesmaids and Mother ready to walk down the aisle. It was the most stress-free, enjoyable experience and my expectations were totally surpassed. Jill truly puts the gift God gave her to good use to help others. She is kind, patient, understanding, funny, and sweet. I feel like I have made a friend for life with Jill. She is genuinely full of love and life and I am so blessed to have her in my own life. I look forward to many more facials in the future and she will ALWAYS be my go to makeup artist for any future event. Thank you Jill for everything!

A friend of mine recommended Jill to me after her wedding, and I am so grateful for that recommendation! Jill was a joy to work with. Her calm demeanor was much needed on my wedding day! Jill did makeup for me, four bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. The makeup was perfect!!! Because of our earlier wedding, she started the first girl at 6 am, and everyone's makeup was still flawless at the end of the reception! We also used Jill's studio in Palencia, which was perfect. We were able to stretch out on the comfortable couches and have snacks and drinks (with straws, of course). I would use Jill again, and I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for the best makeup artist in the area!

Jill is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! With her sweet personality and her outstanding makeup talent, she made my wedding day complete. In a word: Amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Jill - she brings out the absolute best in your natural features. I am always stunned by her work, but on my wedding day, I have never loved the way I look so much.

Jill is a miracle worker when it comes to makeup! She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and was extremely calming and fun to work with. We scheduled a trial run the week of my wedding so I knew exactly what to expect on the actual wedding day. She is a true professional and arrived to the location on time, followed a set schedule and told me exactly what she needed in terms of space, lighting, etc. She created looks for the mother of the bride, aunt of the bride and maid of honor. Each of us were OBSESSED with how our makeup turned out! My makeup lasted ALL NIGHT even after taking photos outside in the heat of Florida summer. She even gives you a touchup kit just in case. I would 100% recommend Jill to any bride and I would love to work with her for future events. If Jill is unavailable for your event...CHANGE YOUR DATE!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jill!! I met Jill years ago at a bridal show when my sister was getting married and I have said ever since I didn't want anyone else to do my make up for my wedding. When my fiancé and I got engaged and it came time to book hair and make up, I knew I was going to book her and ended up booking Mandi with Once Upon a Stylist for my hair as well.
From the time that I booked Jill to my wedding day she was so flexible, responsive and just wonderful to work with. I had such a great time at my trial and my make up looked perfect. My biggest thing was that I wanted to still look like me, I wanted to look natural and my husband was very big on that, too. I don't wear a lot of make up on a daily basis so he wanted me to still look like me.
Jill did an absolute wonderful job with that and listened to everything that I said about colors that I liked and what the look was that I was going for. I got married on December 18, 2016 and having her and Mandi in my hotel room the morning of my wedding to get me ready was just perfect. I was so relaxed all day and my bridesmaids had a wonderful time as well! Everyone looked so beautiful and I couldn't have loved my make up myself any more.
Jill is the best of the best and is just beyond talented, I can't recommend her enough.

Jill did such a great job for all my bridesmaids and my make up for my wedding. She is personable, polite, and professional. She is willing to work with you to help make you feel like a princess, I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! The airbrush is a nice touch that doesn't make you look fake, she uses it to simply accentuate your beauty. She was always on time and responded to e-mails and phone calls right away. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!!!

Jill is so amazing to work with. My best friend and I went to her for our makeup for my best friend's wedding. She did our makeup trial in her GORGEOUS studio, located in Palencia. She treated us so well! She gave us amazing facials, played relaxing music, and did a great job on our makeup. She also carries Becca Cosmetics, which I absolutely love, and was able to buy some products she used that looked fantastic on my face. It was nice to have products that she used available for purchase so I didn't have to go somewhere else to try to find it.

On the wedding day, we arrived at her studio and she was all setup and ready to get started. She worked quickly and flawlessly to get us all moving so we could be out the door on time (which is important for the wedding day schedule!)

I highly recommend her. She is so sweet, amazingly talented, she KNOWS her stuff, and her studio is a one stop beauty shop!

Jill Stonier was amazing to work with for my wedding in July 2016! She did my lash extensions right before my wedding and they came out perfect! On my wedding day Jill was there early to prep for the multiple makeup applications. She did my makeup, my moms, and my bridesmaids. When planning a destination wedding, it's sometimes difficult to find vendors you trust. I stumbled upon Jill's website on a wedding website and was absolutely blown away by her portfolio. I immediately booked her, and anxiously awaited my makeup trial. Believe me when I tell you that Jill is an absolute makeup magician. She's incredible, not only at her job, but as a person. From the moment I met her, I knew I made the right choice. She is so skilled at her job and takes her art very seriously. She is also unbelievably accomodating and takes such good care of her brides. I got married in St. Augustine in July and never had to touch my makeup up once. I even did a creative photo session outside in the suffocating humidity, but my makeup stayed put. Jill is absolutely amazing and I could not give her a better recommendation. You'd be foolish not to hire her! Thank you Jill for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

I just had my wedding this past weekend, 1/29/2016. Jill was absolutely amazing. She did a fantastic job with all of my bridesmaids and mom. My makeup looked flawless. Even my husband commented about how amazing my makeup looked. She really took her time with each of us to make sure we were perfect. I chose not to do a trial makeup run mostly because it was a destination wedding for me and I lived too far away. I was also crazy busy. Never once did I worry about whether my makeup would look good. I had so much faith in her after speaking with her and seeing her work online. She did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. She looked at me and knew exactly what things to do to make me look beautiful. She is such a sweetheart. Honestly her work speaks for it's self. All you have to do is see pictures of her work and you will know how good she is. I cannot say enough good things about Jill. I did a ton of research on different makeup artists in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area. I always take the time to read every single review. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone. And on a side note, I hadn't realized this at the time of hiring Jill, but her partner and hair counterpart is Mandi, from once upon a stylist. I also used her and she is also absolutely fantastic. They work really well together and it made the whole day go perfectly. After combing thru tons of makeup and hair stylists on wedding wire and the knot, these two were an entire bar above everyone else in terms of quality. No one else comes close to these two. Thank you so much Jill for making me look so beautiful on my wedding day.

Jill is so wonderful!! First of all, I don't think there is a more talented make up artist out there- she is truly an artist who makes everyone feel and look their very best. As the bride, it was so nice and comforting to know that I did not have to worry about my make up- Jill was so responsive throughout the planning process, my trial was amazing, and the wedding day was more than I could have ever asked for. I'm not quite sure how Jill does what she does in the time that she has- she did make up for me, my mom, my mother in law, and six bridesmaids. Everyone was so thrilled and the pictures are stunning!! To top it off, her personality is amazing- as others have said, she makes you feel like an old friend. She was also a very calming presence on such a busy and somewhat stressful day. You are in the BEST hands with Jill!! I hope our paths cross again in the future :)

PRE-WEDDING MAKEUP TRIAL: Jill was great to work with. She listened to what I thought I wanted as far as my makeup look and she far exceeded my expectations. The makeup lasted all day long, the lashes were fabulous, and she was so easy to talk to and have a conversation with. If you go with Jill, you won't question if your makeup will come out the way you want it, you will KNOW it's going to be perfect!
POST WEDDING REVIEW:Jill Stonier is a magician when it comes to makeup. When I saw her for my wedding makeup trial I knew without a doubt that she would make me look perfect on my big day. Not only is she great to talk to as you’re sitting in her chair getting made-up, but she is so accommodating with the look you’re going for. I had her darken my lips a bit and add a little more blush to my cheeks and she wasn’t offended and gladly appeased my requests! I just saw a few sneak peaks of some of our wedding pics, and my makeup literally is flawless and glowing. I danced the entire night away and since getting my makeup done at noon on my wedding day, the ONLY thing I ever touched up the entire night was my lipstick. I kid you not when I say that I didn’t have to touch up anything else on my face. No blotting away oily spots on my forehed, no adding concealer. NOTHING but adding lipstick! Jill is a godsend and you MUST have her do your wedding day makeup. You and your bridesmaids will feel like royalty and look flawless!

Jill was fantastic to work with, very receptive to my feedback and worked on my look until i was absolutely satisfied. She is a true professional, managed to finish my fiance's mom, my mom, myself and my six bridesmaids with time to spare and without cutting any corners. My girls do not generally wear a lot of makeup so this was a bit of a stretch for them, but Jill listened to each of their requests and perfectly executed unique looks for each of them that they were happy and comfortable with.

Cannot recommend her enough, I definitely plan to reach out for her services in the future when I have a big event or family photo shoot. I have had my makeup done before but it always felt greasy and I couldn't recognize myself in the mirror, not with Jill. She made me feel beautiful and pulled together without feeling like i was wearing a mask of makeup. Thank you so much Jill!!

Jill is a true professional! She is the most talented make up artist I have ever met. She made my entire bridal party look and feel their very best. She also has a very warm personality. After spending two minutes with her, she makes you feel like you are old friends. Jill is amazing!!! I was planning my wedding from out of town and so I had limited opportunities to come in for a makeup trial. Jill worked with me to find a time we could do a trial during one of my quick trips in. She does INCREDIBLE work. I can not say enough positive things about Jill! She is truly an artist and her work is just amazing. Being in the industry, I am hyper-aware of everything that my own vendors do, because I know my clients will experience the same thing. With that said, I am not sure there is anything that Jill could do better, except maybe give herself a break every once in a while and realize how truly amazing and talented she is. It's hard to pin point because there is something with Jill that is more than just technical skill... as she certainly has a gift that allows her to be the perfect person to work with brides.

My wedding is not until this upcoming September, however Jill has done my makeup when I was a bridesmaid for a best friend's wedding and recently did it for my engagement shoot. As silly as it sounds, I was so nervous to do my engagement pictures... worried they wouldn't turn out as I had always dreamed. But as soon as I sat down in Jill's chair I relaxed and became so comfortable that my worry melted away. I know that without her reassuring me of everything with both her words and how she was able to make me feel/look so incredibly beautiful, that my pictures wouldn't have turned out the way they did. They are perfect. I was so relaxed and had the best time. Thank you Jill, for everything and more.

I'm about a month behind, but there are SO many great things to say about Jill! I was referred to her by 2 of my friends who used Jill as the MUA for their weddings! I saw how amazing they both looked on their big day, and KNEW I had to have her do my makeup.
We did my trial the day of my engagement photos and my makeup was beautiful! It stayed on for the entire day, which is something I was worried about for wedding makeup. From the moment I walked into her studio that day, I felt comfortable sitting with her. She is so easy to talk to and almost has this way of making you feel calm.
The day of the wedding was no different. The biggest day of my life (so far!) and I was anxious and excited and nervous. She made me feel more relaxed when I sat down in that chair. My makeup and skin looked flawless and perfect and exactly how I had pictured it.
She also did my mother-in-law and my mom's makeup, and I have never seen them look so beautiful (and feel it)! :)
I highly recommend Jill to any bride looking for a great, professional and friendly MUA!

Jill did my makeup for my wedding and it looked amazing. I think she is the best out there. I had another trial for my make up which also looked really good, but it just didn't compare to how Jill did my makeup. She uses airbrush so it last all day, she's very punctual and works fast. Working with Jill was wonderful. Her pricing was readily available, she responds quickly, and she is all around a stress-free vendor. She even provided me with a timeline! I loved my make up for my wedding day, not a single freckle could be seen and my eyes looked amazing. The make up lasted all dayand night. Jilll also did a great job with my mother who NEVER wears make up, not even chapstick. She made my mom not only comfortable with make up but HAPPY about the wayu she looked very natural and beautiful. Jill showed up early and was able to finish a little ahead of schedule. I was so worried about having the right colors, right foundation to take beautiful pictures on the big day. Jill is absolutely wonderful. The trial run was so much fun and she made me look more beautiful than I ever imagined. I asked her to choose the color palette for eye and lip color and she surprised me with the most unbelievable combination! I loved Jill from the moment I met her. She was so warm and friendly and she has the best hands to apply the perfect moisturizer making any woman feel great while getting their make up done. My wedding was April 27th and I had a total of 10 girls plus myself to have their make up done. She was amazing, she asked me first what my vision was for the girls and stuck to it, which I very much appreciated. My make up was flawless, of course and our mothers were beyond happy with theirs. One of my girls doesn't wear much make up at all and Jill listened to this and was able to apply just enough to ensure she felt beautiful but still remained feeling like herself as well. These are the things that make up a great MUA, someone who listens to the needs of the bride as well as the needs of the girls to make sure everyone feels the most beautiful they can. Dont look any further for a Make up artist. Jill Stonier made everyone: my mom, my mother-in-law and bridesmaids look flawless. I was so happy with the way my makeup turned out and it lasted ALL night because of the airbrush application. Jill is so professional and made the morning of my wedding day relaxing...yes I just used the word relaxing. She was "on time"...which is 15-30 minutes early and she was ready to go at the exact time we needed to start. Jill Stonier is fantastic! She is super responsive and incredibly professional. She is on the higher end of wedding day make-up artists but she is totally worth it. Make-up and hair was one area I was not willing to skimp on.

We did a make-up trial at her house which went great. She was very friendly and easy-to-talk with. For the wedding day, she had to bring another make-up artist, who also did a great job. All the bridesmaids were incredibly pleased and happy with their make-up. And so was I!

Jill did an absolute amazing job on my makeup for my big day...she made me look flawless! It was the most beautiful I've ever felt. My friends and family continue to rave about how beautiful I was on my wedding day...I owe it all to Jill!

Jill was absolutley wonderful! She was very personable and I had a fabulous time working with her. She used the highest quality products and the results were flawless. I felt so beautiful on my special day and the job Jill did was a big part of it!

Jill did my makeup and the makeup of my seven bridesmaids - she even did a light foundation on my dad at his request. Everyone looked so natural and beautiful! She has such a wonderful personality and talent for her art, I recommend her 100%!

I recently used Jill for makeup for my entire wedding party and highly recommend her. She did a great job on the wedding party which ranged in ages from 13 to 60. I had my 2 young nieces (18 and 13) getting makeup done and Jill did a great job with age appropriate makeup. I loved my makeup and it lasted throughout the evening even through sweating on the dance floor! Throughout the process, Jill was very professional and answered my emails very quickly when I bugged her with last minute questions.

I absolutely loved working with Jill! Her talent and skills are out of this world! My wedding make up was flawless. Her attention to detail and knowledge of product is unparalleled. At my trial, Jill took the time to sit down with me to discuss what I wanted and to offer up her professional advice. Also, during the trial, she did not rush through the application and checked with me often to make sure I was comfortable and that I liked what she was doing. Jill’s sweet, calming personality was a welcomed bonus as my nervousness started to kick in while getting ready. I still cannot believe how amazing my wedding makeup was. My make up lasted through the long day and still looked flawless at the end of the night. I highly recommend Jill!

Simply put-Jill is AMAZING!!! She is just the person you want on your wedding day. She responded to every email and text message I sent to her leading up to the big day. She uses top of the line products and has a very professional studio. She arrived at my house the day of the wedding 30 minutes early, just to make sure she was on time and ready to go. Every single bridesmaid looked absolutely stunning! Our make-up stayed on all day and we all received many compliments. If you are considering anyone else, stop now because Jill is your girl.

Jill is absolutely amazing! She is not only a very talented make up artist, but also one very kind person to have around on your wedding day! She was always back with a response to all of my many emails and calls. She was so awesome to work with both times she did my make up. (trail and wedding day) there wasn't one thing I would have changed about the entire experience. I like that she also listens to what you want done and lets you know her opinions as well. very talented!!
My girls and I looked and felt beautiful!! I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone needing their make up done for anything!!

Jill is an absolute professional. She made me and my bridal party look beautiful at my wedding. Jill made me look great for pictures without making me look "overdone" when I was greeting guests face-to-face. She accomplished exactly what I had hoped--I still looked like myself, but she made me look my best. I would definitely recommend Jill to other brides who want to look great on their wedding day. She exceeded my expectations.

Jill's work is out of this world! I have never felt so beautiful, I have had the airbrush makeup done by another artist before and Jill's work was 1,000 times better. The quality of the product she uses profession grade. I looked like a doll in my photos, I wanted to look like myself only wiht a little extra. She listened to what I had to say and made it happen. She also made up all of the bridesmaids and the mother of the groom, all of which were more than happy with the way they looked and everyone was raving about how they looked.
Not only is Jill the most talented make-up artist I have ever seen, it was also fun to sit in her chair! No awkward slience so strange conversations just like talking to an old friend. If I had the money I would get Jill to do my makeup everyday!

Jill is absolutely fabulous! I first met her at my friend's wedding and knew I had to use her for my makeup on my wedding day! Jill is so professional and friendly and I'm so happy I chose her for my Big day! She did a terrific job on all the ladies and I couldn't have asked for a better look as the Bride. I have used some of the best make-up artists in both Hollywood and New York City, but Jill is absolutely the BEST!!! Not only was she able to make me look wonderful, her commitment to making sure you've got the total "package" was very impressive. AND, what a delightful and sweet person she is! Jill was recommended to me through my also fabulous wedding coordinator, Adair Currie. As soon as i met Jill we hit it off! Like Jill i work in the beauty industry as well, as a hair stylist. Im around people all day everyday and i know when i click with someone. Jill was extremely personable & professional. She works with the best of the best beauty products from Mac, Urban Decay, Dior, Too Faced, Makeup Forever... you name it. If there is one thing that i can not exaggerate enough is that Jill takes her time! She genuinely loves what she does & it shows in every aspect of her work. When we arrived at the venue on the morning of the wedding, she was already there and ready to roll. My sister was first up and had a mini melt down in her chair but jill handled her like a champ and didn't miss a beat. From start to finish everyone was so impressed with her work, her personality, her professionalism, my whole family just loved her. Needless to say my sister, mom & i looked wonderful all thanks to jill! She even stuck around to help my girlfriend with her lashes and assist with last minute touchups before the photos began. I would recommend her to anyone, she's simply amazing!

Jill did such an amazing job doing my whole bridal parties makeup. She truly made my bridesmaids and mothers feel and look beyond beautiful. She kept on schedule all day and stayed up to the moment I said "I Do."
I would 100% recommend Jill to all bride's and friend's I know. I cannot wait to have her do my makeup again!

Jill from Ruthless Beauty is fabulous. She listens to what you want and is an artist. She made my wedding day stress free and is fun to be around. I received tons of compliments about my make-up and how beautiful it was. She makes it very natural. She uses air brush which lasted all day and night. Jill did a fabulous job on my make-up. It lasted all night and it looked very natural...however she knows how to make the famous smokey eyes if that is what you are going for. She is fun, flexible and her prices are great! I highly recommend her!
