Superb Craftsmanship
I can’t begin to praise the workmanship of Garo Celik enough. I wanted him to alter a design so it could have a red diamond, done in 14K yellow gold. He responded to my request in less than 30 minutes & told me he was more than willing to help. Not only did I get the red diamond ring that I’ve always wanted (BTW, it’s not easy to find a jeweler that even carries red diamonds), he even increased the carat size from the original design. I’ve received so many compliments-most people have never seen a red diamond & are so surprised when I tell them it’s a red diamond & not a ruby! I can’t recommend Garo highly enough. You’ll be pleased with your choice, I guarantee it! -

Great service, great price, great quality
Garo’s customer service is great. Quick to respond if you have questions and requests. His prices are very reasonable and fair, and I appreciate buying directly from the craftsman as opposed adding to some chain store’s profit margins. And the quality really is amazing. Couldn't be happier
I couldn't be happier with my engagement ring. I have the "Asscher Cut Black Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring 14k Black Gold 1.90 Carat Vintage Style" and it is even more beautiful in person. We accidentally ordered the wrong size but Garo was responsive and fixed it no problem. The box is beautiful with a light Which just added to the proposal.
We will be ordering our wedding bands from Garo. Couldn't imagine going any other way. -

Extremely pleased!
I stumbled upon Garo’s website while searching for a pavé diamond heart necklace. There were similar necklaces on several other sites but none of them were exactly what I was looking for, from type of metal to quality of the diamonds, and the heart shape/design itself. Garo’s was closest to what I envisioned but I had reservations about ordering from an independent jeweler who I could not visit in person. When I googled him, I found so many reviews and all positive, but I was still a little hesitant. I decided to contact Garo by Instagram and he responded right away! After asking him several questions about customization, I decided to place an order. Garo was amenable to all of my requests and offered a very reasonable price. He also sent me images and video when my order was complete. Garo made the piece and had it shipped to me so quickly!! The necklace surpassed my expectations; it is so, so beautiful in person, and has a lovely weight to it. I feel lucky to have found Garo and am sure I will order from him again. I highly recommend him! -

Sara and I got engaged in the summer and then married in fall of 2018. I was looking for a very special and unique engagement ring while maintaining the "diamond tradition."
Local jewelers either would not customize their rings or customization took too long and significantly raised the price.
I found Garo.
Black gold (and Garo was very upfront about the plating process unlike other primarily online jewelers) and a beautiful diamond. I did not get to choose the diamond although I could choose carat, color range and clarity range. But I couldn't be happier with the diamond Garo chose. Absolutely brilliant. Exceeded my expectations.
Sara's favorite color is red so I asked Garo to replace the sidestones with rubies. No problem. Sara and I always watch for the Moon. I asked for moonstones. No problem. Beautifully incorporated by Garo.
I asked for a very personal inscription on the inside of the ring. Garo again very honestly advised me that would potentially reduce the resale value of the ring then did a great job inscribing the message very legibly.
All of this done very quickly with no extra cost. I had the ring within a week. Very safe and secure (discreet) shipping.
Sara was ecstatic upon seeing the ring. I was, too. We couldn't be happier.
I have returned to Garo for each of the anniversary bands. Never a problem with the inscriptions or quality.
This last anniversary, I waited until the last moment because of financial reasons (inflation...Garo's prices had risen slightly but we'll below the inflation rate). I needed the anniversary band on very short notice. Again, Garo delivered.
Garo is professional and courteous. He knows his craft, and is more than willing to work with the customer.
I have never had a better experience buying jewelry.

Garo is very prompt with responding, and was able to send the ring and band right before we were planning to leave for our vacation (where he was planning to propose). He had a ring; but had to place a speedy order, after he made the mistake of taking me ring shopping (to throw me off) and learned that my taste was different than he originally thought. He ordered the ring on a Tuesday, it was overnighted so he had it Wednesday for our take-off early Thursday morning. Garo was very accommodating, and was able to re-size my ring at no additional cost. I absolutely love my ring, and how unique it is! Garo was the best to work with. -

They are of exceptional quality and craftsmanship, and I am so pleased my partner and I went to him.
I was looking for a black diamond, but wanted something which was still elegant... and sparkly! My partner and I were struggling to find what I wanted in Australia, and were hoping that we wouldn't regret purchasing diamonds/rings from overseas. What a GREAT decision to give Garo a try!
When purchasing the engagement ring, Garo was good at communicating, and even apologised that it might take a couple of days to make and send due to an American public holiday. The ring arrived in a lovely red ring box, with authentication and valuing.
When I went looking for a wedding band, I was struggling to find the perfect diamond band with a slight curve to fit around the black diamond in my engagement ring (I plan on wearing both together after our wedding). I contacted Garo and described what I wanted, but how it was slightly different to a few on his website. He was prompt to describe what he could do, AND send me photos/videos of different options of wedding band with my engagement ring.
He happily made the slight changes I liked, and my wedding band arrived extremely quickly.
Also importantly, his prices were not more than other similar stockists, and I've noticed he often has little online sales.
Garo has made a potentially stressful experience a breeze, and I am so happy with the rings he has made for me. Thank you Garo, and if there's need for future jewellery, I'll be back! -

Robbie Sent on 10/23/2022Black polish came off ring after 1 day and Garo refused refund because "If is used, nonrefundable"
Short version: we bought two of the black gold rings from Garo. The polish rubs off within 1 day and he is very difficult to deal with. I 100% would never buy from him again.
Full version:
We were looking for a pair of black gold rings, with a simple band for the men’s and a black diamond for the women’s. We were excited to find Garo because the designs look beautiful. He was also helpful by expediting delivery so we could receive the rings on time (for an additional fee that we were happy to pay).
The rings arrived and looked great — exactly like the photos. Garo included a note to take off the ring when you wash your hands, use hand sanitizer or lotion, “so that the black polish lasts for a long term.” So we knew to be careful with them.
Unfortunately the rings aren’t durable at all. The black polish started rubbing off within 24 hours. No lotion or sanitizers or anything — it just comes off on your fingers. We contacted Garo right away and he said it is up to the person how you use the jewelry. We asked for clarification or if something might be wrong with ours because it seemed bizarre the polish would come off that quickly with normal use, and there was no sufficient answer.
Within 2-3 days about half the polish was gone. We told Garo we want to return the rings for a refund and he said no because "Under 14 day refund policy must be exactly same condition" and "If is used, nonrefundable" — it wasn't possible for me to return it in its original condition because of the black polish coming off so easily.
I told Garo the only outcome I will accept is that I return that ring and he provides a full refund. He agreed and asked me to not write a bad review. I hadn’t brought up anything about reviews and didn’t have any plan to, so it seemed weird he was bringing it up.
Finally, Garo said that if you buy this kind of ring from another vendor then the polish will come off in one day too because that’s just how it is and the other vendors will lie to us. It was really bizarre, and very different from what he had told us up to that point.
A note on timeline — we received these on a Monday, and exchanged our vows 8 days later. Add the 3-4 days of followup and we were at the 12 day mark, followed by the weekend. On day 15, Garo messaged to say we were now past the 14 day refund window and that he wouldn’t be honouring the return that he previously agreed to. Instead, Garo offered to repolish the ring as black or white gold, with no guarantee that the new polish would last longer than one day. We are international and on our honey moon, so getting the rings back to him within that 14 day window wasn’t feasible.
Now, after wearing the ring for 1 week, the outer polish is 100% gone. The ring also looks like it has years of scratches on the surface, even though I haven’t scratched it against anything.
Overall, I felt like Garo operates with a buyer beware mentality, which is why I would never buy from him again. It’s a pretty difficult decision to even think about sending your wedding ring back — this is the ring you made your vows to and that is in your wedding photos. It felt terrible being in the position of thinking about returning it. From my research, it is easy to find vendors that are higher quality and lower prices. My experience of buying from Garo was low quality, gas lighting and a really low integrity approach to business. -
