Don did an incredible job at our daughter’s wedding! He kept everything on schedule, ensured the guests had a great time with great music to dance to, and did an amazing job introducing the wedding party (everyone enjoyed the intros)! Don did a fantastic job working with us to make sure the things that were important to my daughter and her husband were priority while giving great direction and suggestions on details we might have otherwise overlooked. If you are looking for a company who cares about you, is professional and can bring a great party with style and class Jewell Entertainment Group is a wonderful choice. I highly recommend giving Don a call to schedule your next event!

Don is awesome!! He was the life of the party and was able to get our guests dancing! Everyone had a great time! He was very easy to talk to and even went above and beyond to help me do something special with my bouquet for my mom. Don is the best!!

Everyone at the wedding loved Don! The professionalism mixed with outgoingness and great music made the party...as well as doing it on short notice he was definitely a blast and the music was exactly what we asked for.. I would recommend Don for any function if you want the best entertainment for a great value this is the man for the Job! :)

Don Jewell did an amazing job as the DJ at our wedding. He is great to work with and really gets people moving on the dance floor. We could not have made a better choice in picking him to be the DJ. Thank you Don Jewell for making our wedding reception so special!

Don Jewell did an excellent job at our affair. Our goal was to have the dance floor packed and it was a given with Don’s mix of songs- next time we will need a bigger dance floor! He is great with the audience....don’t forget to ask him about his photo booth!

My husband and I found Don Jewell with Jewell Entertainment on Wedding Wire. We had recently moved to North Carolina from Alaska - and so we were not familiar with vendors for our wedding as one who was getting married somewhere they had grown up or lived for a while.
We arranged to meet Don and his wife in person to chat and basically just see if we "vibed" well together.
After our meeting - Ryan and I let Don know that we would be discussing the proposal and getting back to him. We got into our car and basically looked at each other and said "YEPPPP!"
He was so warm, helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. Meeting his wife was just icing on the cake. It was so obvious that Don loved to do what he does best!
Months leading up to the wedding, the online system was SOOO easy to navigate....literally.
The day of the wedding Don absolutely surpassed our expectations. Everything was perfect......and who doesn't want to be able to say that about any part of the most special day of your life.
What do people remember about weddings? Entertainment, Food and Ceremony!

Don was amazing! He met every request of ours to the 'T'. He even worked secretly with my maid of honor so she could have a headset and background music to go with her speech to make it perfect! And he edited songs for our entrance to make it exactly what we wanted! The dance floor was packed the whole night, he played our must have songs and more importantly abided by our do-not-play songs! :) The photo booth was also perfect and he found the perfect template for the print outs. Would highly recommend!

Don was on time and set up prior to the start of the event. Always pleasant to work with and extremely audience friendly. Had the attendees up dancing and he joined them for the line dances which pleased everyoe. Have booked him for more beach parties this summer.

Don was wonderful! Our event was split wedding in the morning and dinner in the evening. He setup sound on the beach for the wedding and returned to DJ the party in the evening. It was a great party! Thanks to Don!

Don was amazing to work with! He understood exactly what we wanted, as it wasn't the traditional wedding. Our small group was dancing all night long. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, highly recommend! Thanks again!

Don was definitely one of the best parts of our wedding! Everyone LOVED him! We had almost 200 people, with a wide variety of age groups and every single person had an amazing time. He is fantastic at his job and was so great at keeping everyone entertained and involved!!!

Don really made our holiday event wonderful! He was so much fun and he got people out of their seats! Everyone was talking about how much they enjoyed him for days after the event! Don was very professional and easy to work with. We hope to have him back again soon!

Awesome. Wonderful. Entertaining. Life of the party!. Not just a DJ but the best DJ. Hands down.

We hired Don for our wedding and I can not say enough good things about him. Answered all of my questions, walked me through everything, and even helped me pick out some of the music for our wedding. Don is awesome and he will keep the party going, he even dances along with you and your guest. Everyone at our wedding LOVED him. I even had one of my guest call me after the wedding and asked for his information because she wanted to recommend him to her friend.

If you are looking for a fun yet professional DJ, and not just someone to play music, Don is the way to go!!!

You can have the best venue, food and guests, but, without Don Jewell it is just not a party..He makes the party happen.. Wouldn't hire anyone else for our events...

I used the photo booth services from Don Jewell for a large company party. The photo booth was a huge hit. Everyone enjoyed it. Don is very easy to work with and has a great personality to keep the crowd entertained. He came in a quickly setup, answered any questions we had, and the whole process was seamless. We will definitely use them again!

Don Jewell with Jewell Events Entertainment, provided their DJ service Saturday June 7, 2014 for our wedding reception at The Beam Room @ Front Street Brewery and he was amazing! Don displayed amazing skills and attributes of a DJ, over and beyond expected friendliness and interaction with the entire crowd and wedding party. He is one of the most friendliest guys I know. I was a little apprehensive as to the vendors I selected for my wedding because I did not meet with any of them until my wedding day, as I planned a small destination wedding! I got so lucky with all of them...but I must say Don Jewel is the MAN! I have never been to a wedding where the DJ was so much fun, and just simply AWESOME!! He really added an element of fun to our event! Could not be more happy with my decision to use him as a DJ! I would even go as far to say it was the BEST decision I made throughout my wedding planning process!!

I knew the moment I first spoke to Don that we made the perfect decision when choosing the best entertainer for our wedding. He played every song we requested plus threw in a few I had forgotten to request. He was able to keep my grandparents dancing at the age of 88 and 94!
Don, we will never forget our day and how much fun it was!!! I recommend every bride and groom hire you and also to use the gobo and photo booth! both were a enormous hit!

I had seen Don Jewel at another event and he made that event extremely successful because he played great music and even got out on the dance floor to help with the line dances. He is very responsive to what the group wants to hear and very enthusiastic. He loves his job and it definitely shows. At our recent Mardi Gras event, he played quiet music during the dinner and then when he was given the clue, he stepped it up. It was such a successful party, that we already booked him for our next event. He makes the party!!

DJ Don Jewell is the best! He used our playlist, made some great additions and played guests' requests. This made our event personal and fun. He's an entertainer at heart and it showed in the amazing job he did for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Hats off for a job well done!

We used Jewell Events for a company Christmas party. While a fair portion of the night was taken up by our Naughty Santa gift exchange, the music played during dinner was perfect. After the Naughty Santa, Don picked up the tempo quickly and played some line-dance type songs that would get people on the dance floor. He even got out on the dance floor with everyone too! We had some karaoke and specials requests…all in all, it was a great night!

Don is hands down the best dj I have ever seen! Multiple people told me how awesome our dj was! He constantly was in the action and even got on the floor to show dances!! He is super fun and I highly recommend him!!!

Don Jewell is no ordinary DJ....he is the life of the party!! Thanks to him everyone was up and dancing at my wedding! His website made it super easy to log on throughout our engagement and add songs as we thought of them. It was very easy to choose our special dance songs, dedications and to create a do not play list. He offered so many additional services (ae. lighting & photo booth) at a reasonable price. Most importantly it truly shows he loves what he does. I will absolutely use/ recommend him for future events!!!

Jewell Events was awesome! Don made the event fun, simple, and was very energetic, personable, and is an awesome DJ! The process is so simple, go on line and pick out songs, he will go over them with you, and listen to your style and make sure your night goes amazing! Don Jewell provided a photo booth for us for a corporate event. He was extremely responsive, making a custom background for the photos to go with the event and discussing several options with us related to backdrop color and set up. The venue had him set up in a tight space, but he rolled with that, maintaining a positive and professional attitude throughout the event. He helped our guests interact with just the right level of enthusiasm - not pushy, but encouraging and helpful. Great value for the price!

Don Jewel was GREAT! The music he played was age appropriate and got everyone onto the dance floor. The days that followed, everyone had great things to say about Don. I have already given out his contact info to a co-worker for a November party. I will be using him again in the future for other events.

Did an awesome job!! Even though high tide on the beach through us all for a loop, it still ran smoothly. All my guests raved about how good the music and entertainment was. Don Jewell danced with us and really kept the night going. I would recommend him and his service to anyone!

The best DJ ever. He totally made my wedding reception better with his crowd interactions. My husband and I as well as all of the guests were buzzing about how fun he was. Jewell Events was recommended to me by my planner, Jennifer Wilson of Lily Belles Floral & Event Design. It was so easy working with Don every step of the way. When shopping for DJs, Don was the first vendor to get back in touch with us, and it was almost instantly. He is always cheerful and happy to be working with you, which was a huge plus for me. We had multiple meetings with Don in person and he was quick to respond to emails. Here is one of the best parts of working with Don pre-wedding day: Everything is ONLINE!! I spent hours looking through his music library and requesting songs, adding comments, and having fun. Also, he happily found all my off-the-wall ceremony music. During the wedding and reception, Don was great. In fact, my friends took photos and video of him to share with everyone because he really made the party happen. Thanks Don! I wish we could go back in time and do it again! :-)

For anyone looking for the perfect DJ, I HIGHLY reccommend D.J. Don Jewell!! He is not just a run-of-the-mill D.J. He goes above and beyond. He gets out and dances with you but will also help get guests out on the dance floor too. He gets the crowd going and will make your night memorable. I still have people complimenting me on the D.J. I hired for our wedding, and how much fun he made the night for everyone! He not only D.J.s, but he helps with some many other things through

Don & his crew were absolutely amazing! I was very pleased with their service for the photo booth and I'm happy that I got to be the first wedding reception where they rolled out their photo booth for the first time. If there were any snags with setting up or if any of my weird friends & family caused issues, I have no idea because they were super professional... Every time I went up there, it seemed like they were having as much fun as my guests! Even though I only utilized their photo booth service, I'm confident that all other services provided by Jewell Events will be just as perfect and I'll definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone!

Don did an excellent job and tried his best to meet my every need, which he did! I even asked him do dance with us and he did! That made for an exciting time. He has some serious dance moves. :)

Don was an excellent dj for our wedding! He engaged the crowd and kept the party rolling! He really wanted to be a part of the entire party and you can tell he loves his job! I would suggest in the future to play more of what was requested previously by the wedding party on the website, rather than requests from the guests. However, I know its hard to please everyone! Truly a great job done by Don and a wonderful time had by all!!

Don was amazing! He was so accommodating, and he really listened to what we wanted. We told him we wanted our wedding to be a fun dance party with no down time except for dinner, and that's exactly what we got! I can't say enough good things about Jewell Entertainment!

We had our wedding reception 09/29/12 and we chose Jewell Events as our DJ and we were more than happy with our choice! Don was amazing and really delivered a great vibe for our recpetion.

We didn't have a huge dancing crowd, but Don was able to get people out on the dance floor! He had quite a personality and was super entertaining the whole night!

He made sure to play the songs we requested but threw a few twists in there as well! We were very happy with the service we received.

Don mixed a song for my Dad and I to dance to, we wanted to break out into a little remix. It was a hit with the crowd and I was very happy with the remix Don put together for us!

We also wanted to play a game at our reception and Don was accommodating with this as well and kept it PG13! haha

I would definitely recommend Jewell Events for any event! He was professional, affordable, and fun! He made our event!

Don was fantastic! He played every song requested, and made wonderful choices with additional selections. Everything was timed perfectly, and went off without a hitch! He really worked the crowd too! I would definitely recommend him to a friend!

Don went above and beyond for our wedding! He had fresh new ideas and even let me record a special surprise message to honor my mother! We didn't want the traditional photo booth props for wedding with bride and groom theme and he came through with some really cool props! Don himself engaged guests and assisted in teaching us some new dance moves! Don was even flexible when my father and his friends informed me a day before the wedding that they wantrd to play a few songs for me at the rehersal. I highly recommend Don Jewell! He was easy to work with and gave great advise and ideas for our event.

Jewell Events was our DJ vender for our May 2, 2015 wedding in Ocean Isle NC. It was a small wedding and my biggest worry was that the dance floor would be vacant. Not the case with Don Jewell! He pulled out his skills and dance moves and got the party started! We loved every minuet of his DJing. He really made the atmosphere fun and got my friends and family moving! I was extremely happy with him. He is friendly, timely, has high energy and did a great job. You can really tell he loves what he does. If you're looking for a great DJ, look no further!! He had the best pricing around and I would highly recommend him!

Don provided a photo booth for our daughter's after party following her Bat-Mitzvah. The teenagers had great fun with all the props he supplied, and he made sure all of them had all the copies of pics they wanted.

Don Jewell did a terrific job at our wedding. He was flexible and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. He was willing to purchase the classical music I wanted for our dinner experience. He did a great job helping make sure each thing we needed to do got done. Plus, i cFund his price pretty reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Don was a great guy to work with. Super up beat and he brought the dance floor to life during the reception!! He helped us a lot since neither of us had ever been to a wedding so he was super helpful in making music decisions and explaining when exactly music would be played. It's a lot more in depth than you would think!

My sister used Don Jewell Event Entertainment for her may2015 wedding in Ocean Isles. Don did a fabulous job creating a party feel and periotically got on the dance floor to amp up the party's energy! Don held true to the brides song request list and created a the party atmosphere.
