Working with Jessica was great! She called ahead of time to get an idea of what we wanted out of our pictures. At the actual shoot she was so fun and made us feel so comfortable. We got the pictures back quickly and are absolutely in love with them.Jessica Tonya Photography's reply:

We hired Jessica to shoot our engagement pictures. She did an amazing job. We had asked her to join us on our boat to capture our love. We both had never been in a photo shoot before but from the moment she arrived to the very end, Jessica made us feel comfortable which made it easier for us to take pictures. We waited a few weeks and when we got our pictures back, we were blown away on how beautiful they were. She was able to capture a moment in time that will never forget. Jessica’s friendly and open minded energy helped make our picture that much better. Her editing techniques captured our true love story that we can keep forever. Thank you Jessica for being amazing. We love you. -

We hired Jess an entire year before our wedding that we held in 11/12/23. From our first interaction to the last she was her authentic self and I knew she was a perfect fit. She not only held continued communication leading up to the wedding, she kept us in the loop during & after as well as throughout her editing process. On our wedding day she went above & beyond to make sure everything was handled including my minor nervous breakdown when we couldn’t find extra clothes for our youngest daughter 🤦🏼♀️ She handled our chaos like the true boss she is & let me tell you, it shows in our pictures. She captured everything we had asked exactly how we envisioned it and then some. Everyone that attended our wedding complimented her presence & talent anticipating our photos. To say no one was disappointed is an understatement. Everyone is obsessed with our photos including us. I keep saying I’m ready to wallpaper our house with them. Im ready to find more reasons to hire her again. 100/10 recommend Jess to capture any special moment you have. We hired a photographer & gained a friend ❤️ -

We hired Jessica as our wedding photographer and cannot recommend her highly enough!! In addition to taking beautiful photos that capture the moment she also is so much fun to be around! As someone who personally doesn't love taking a lot of photos, Jessica really made it feel comfortable and natural. Jessica is amazing
Jessica responded to my email right away, and minutes after looking at her work my husband and I booked her for our wedding. She offered an engagement shoot where we actually met in person! She was absolutely amazing and made the process so comfortable. The pictures came out beautiful, I couldn’t wait to see what she would do with the actual wedding photos! My wedding photos are magical and Jessica was amazing from the minutes she got there while we were getting ready all the way til the end of the night! Her personality shines through and all my guest loved her!! I would 1000% percent Recommend jessica-Tonya photography to everyone and anyone! Jessica is amazing! I booked a pre-wedding boudoir shoot and my wedding with her and I would recommend her to anyone! Most of our guests didn’t even realize she was the photographer that’s how well she blended in getting all of the best shots!! She is an absolute pleasure to work with! ❤️ -

My wedding
Jessica is the best photographer I could of ever wanted at my wedding! She is the most kind down to earth person and she made it fun! A Dream Come True!
Jess is the best of the best! When I first started researching wedding photographers, I knew that my Fiancé and I wanted to invest in keepsakes that we would cherish for a lifetime. When I saw Jess’s portfolio, I knew she was the one! She helped us create a custom Wedding package that included an engagement shoot and digital copies of our pictures. For our engagement photos, we wanted high-quality warm, fun, vibrant, and natural photos. All qualities that my partner and I share, and boy did Jess deliver! From the moment I hired her, she became our most trusted advisor, and best friend. From hour-long video chats to narrow down our vision, to calming my nerves when we had to change location last minute, she was there for me. At the engagement photo shoot, she set the tone as lighthearted, fun, and romantic, and boosted our confidence! We just had a blast! When we received our engagement photos back just one week later, she delivered them in an elegant, professional password-protected digital portfolio. The photos are beautiful! We are beyond pleased with how they came out, and the energy at the shoot came through in the infectious laughter and intimate moments Jess captured.
UPDATE:
For our Wedding, Jess had many video chats with us about what we wanted for our big day, and, together, we came up with a foolproof plan. Unfortunately, 3 days before the Wedding Disaster struck! Jess fell and broke her foot, and would not be able to shoot our wedding! Luckily for us, Jess is the ultimate wedding industry professional, and before she could even call me to tell me what happened, she already had a solution. She arranged for her long-time colleague Adam Franco to shoot the wedding, and even threw in an extra hour of photography to make up for the last-minute change. Jess had already been such a big support over the wedding planning journey, that I knew I could trust her judgement, and that Adam would be a great photographer. On the day of, he was on time, prepared with the shot-list I had compiled with Jess in hand, and he had a great manner with our bridal party and close family during formal portraits. The rest of the day, I barely noticed his presence as he flitted around and grabbed the most amazing shots of the wedding. This was absolutely the best day of our lives, and Adam felt like an old friend; we were totally comfortable with him. After the wedding, Jess took over by editing the photographs that Adam had captured. Fast forward to about 4 weeks later, and Jess mailed me a USB with a lovely note. In total, we received 791 crisp, clear, high resolution and beautifully edited Wedding Day photos. I cannot begin to express how happy we are with these photos. Some of my family members have suffered from life-threatening health issues in recent years, and to have high quality, formal and informal professional photos of them all, happy and healthy, is so meaningful. I plan on ordering prints of these photos from Jess as Christmas presents for my Family.
Jess is simply the best there is. Her professionalism, her fun loving personality, her skills, and most importantly, her friendship set her head and shoulders above other photographers. I plan on working with her whenever I can. I look forward to our future maternity shoots and family Christmas cards for many years to come. Do yourself a favor and hire Jess as your Wedding Day Photographer. You won't regret it -

We had our photographer pull out of our wedding due to COVID concerns with just a week until the wedding. We contacted Jessica at that moment and she agreed to photograph our wedding. Jessica worked with our day of schedule, of which we were running behind and photographed at a venue she had never been at before. She captured our day PERFECTLY and definitely told the story of our wedding day through her lens. -

Would recommend Jess 10 times over!
Jess was an absolute pleasure to work with. Right upon meeting her at our consultation I knew we had to work with her! We instantly clicked and I knew that she would be great to work with for our wedding and make us both feel super comfortable while taking pictures on our big day. She was incredibly flexible with us as we were one of the weddings that had to be canceled and rescheduled due to Covid. She even left her vacation early so that she could shoot our wedding on the date that we rescheduled it for. She showed up early and I was so relieved when she got there due to having some pre-wedding jitters, and she’s so bubbly and funny and just instantly brightens a room when she walks in. Every single person at my wedding commented on how much they enjoyed her. Now to the pictures-those were so great! She did such a fantastic job capturing all of our special moments and the quality was outstanding. I can’t wait to make Christmas albums for our parents and surprise them with these amazing photos. We are so happy that we found Jess, and if you have the opportunity to work with her, take it! Jessica came to our wedding and instantly became our friend! She is friendly, energetic and as soon as my family met her they fell in love and were openly asking her to take their picture and she was so creative! After all the changes my husband and I had to make to our wedding because of COVID it was such a relief knowing we had someone we could trust to take pictures and capture moments we didn't even know were happening. My husband and I are already talking about future events we could hire her for again and a month after the wedding we're still hearing from our guests about how much they loved our photographer. I found Jessica on Thumbtack and she was incredibly professional. This was our first ever professional photo shoot and we were very nervous. She helped us find a really good place to take the photos at and during our shoot she made us feel very comfortable and the photos came out great! Overall we had a wonderful experience with Jessica and would recommend her to anyone. After our shoot she gave us more photos than we’re supposed to be in the package. She also provided sneak peaks of her editing of our photos and her excitement for how they were coming out really made it a good experience. The photos came out vibrant and beautiful. We had a dog in our photos and she was very sweet to the dog and made sure we were able to have her in our photos! We will definitely be hiring Jessica for our wedding! Best experience thus far you will not be disappointed. We had previously looked into other photographers before meeting Jessica but we knew as soon as we met her she was the one. I’m laid-back and typically not comfortable in front of the camera but Jessica made me incredibly comfortable. Her down to earth personality and her gorgeous pictures as well as great pricing won us over. Her photos as well as her excitement while shooting shows she obviously loves what she does. She gave us great ideas with what could work for us and our locations. Jessica was much more than what we excepted for our photographer from the Great picture that we’re captured to the amount of edited pictures that we got to the short timing that it took to receive our pictures. So glad we decided to go with her!! All around Jessica Tonya photography is the one, We cannot wait to work with her again on our wedding day . -

10/10 just hire this gal!
Jess was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I wanted to book a photographer to capture some of the fun of my sisters bachelorette. Jess was flexible in everything from the timing to the location and was fabulous when we changed both at the last minute. She was on point, friendly, and fit in with our group of close girl friends like just another one of the girls. She captured amazing shots and was a total blast to work with. We met at the Newport Vineyard and she took all the shots we requested, but had her own amazing ideas and personality that she brought to the shoot. If you need someone to capture your lifestyle and be a total blast to work with, Jess is the gal! -
