  Same Sex Wedding

  From the first phone call to the last pluck...Jessica was nothing but professional! I loved when she said she has performed for every stripe on the "flag". Jessica took a great deal of time to learn about us and all of the details of the ceremony. It was very important to her to integrate herself fully into the experience. She was kind and thoughtful and truly a delight. I would recommend her beautiful talent for any occasion. Thank you Jessica!!

  Wonderful!

  We hired Jessica to play the harp at our wedding a few weekends ago in Morganton, NC. Jessica was very pleasant and professional to work with from start to finish. You could tell just by speaking to her she has a true passion for what she does and is skilled. She played songs starting 30 minutes before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and for an hour during cocktail hour after the ceremony. She was on time and prepared. The guests were amazed with her talent and have mentioned many times how neat it was to have her there. She was definitely one of the stars of the show! I would highly recommend her for live music at any occasion.

  Gorgeous Prelude and Ceremony Music

  Jessica was the perfect choice for my daughter's outdoor garden wedding in western NC. She was delightful and professional to deal with, and she gave us great ideas to make the prelude music personal and meaningful. I worried that the windy day might pose a problem, but it was no issue, and everyone remarked on the beautiful music

  Magical add to any wedding!

  Jessica performed pre-ceremony, the aisle walk, and provided gentle music post-ceremony. Her grace in the strumming adding an incredible level of peaceful ambiance, and gave that wedding a red carpet vibe. Highly recommend Jessica to settle the wedding day nerves and let your guests feel like they are at an upscale event.

  Absolutely Amazing!

  Jessica was absolutely amazing! She called us and talked to us about her artistry and we knew she would be the perfect fit :) She has a very extensive list of songs she already knows, and was even willing to learn a few new songs for us. We were able to walk down the aisle as husband and wife to the GOT theme song!
  We also experienced a rain delay on our wedding and Jessica was super patient and hung around hiding inside with her harp so we could still have our wedding outside.
  If you are thinking about having a harp at your wedding-DO IT! It made our ceremony so romantic and all of the guests loved it!

  Great experience

  Jessica absolutely elevated our wedding day. The harp and she were such an elegant touch and she helped to achieve the musical vision we had for our big day, going so far as to edit a songs tempo to fit into a space in our wedding day perfectly. She was super responsive and easy to collaborate with!

  Could not have asked for better!

  Jessica was fantastic! She let me know ahead of time her needs for setting up so there was no issues on the day of and was willing to coach me on picking songs for the ceremony. She provided a very long list of songs to choose from as well. She even learned a new song for our ceremony that I really loved. Multiple guests commented on how wonderful the music was and that we made a great choice. She played beautifully and I can not recommend her enough.

  The Magic Touch

  Jessica and her harp music added a magical element to our ceremony and celebration.
  She helped us choose the perfect harp music for each part of the ceremony. She has classical, modern, jazz and movie music we could choose from, and she learned a special piece at our request.
  Jessica was prompt, professional, punctual and friendly, so we felt like we were in good hands right from the beginning.

  Beautiful Playing and Very Professional

  Jessica was excellent and I am so glad that I hired her for our event! Her playing was beautiful and it was apparent that she put thought into making the song selections.   Jessica Schaeffer is a superb harpist and is easy to work with.

  Jessica's playing was incredibly beautiful. She was dependable, flexible and kind. She has great knowledge of repertoire, and would be a great resource for couples looking for advice. I am a musician, and wanted the best. I highly recommend Jessica for your wedding music!

  Professional Performer,

  My organization hired Jessica as a harpist for more than one performance in a variety of venues. She was responsive and communicative, and asked important questions about the venue and sound situation to prepare for the best performance. She manages her own equipment seamlessly and easily, dresses and presents herself professionally, and slips out quietly when her work is done. Musically, she is an excellent harpist with a repertoire of both classical and current choices. You will be pleased!

  Unusual event

  Talk about versatility: I heard Jessica play with an orchestra at an event in San Francisco. I was a long-shot, but I asked her if she would play at my Mother's memorial service, she said yes and said she had played at similar services in the past. People in the mortuary, not connected with our service, came to listen to her play her (huge) harp. Her selection of music was outstanding. I would consider Jessica playing her harp at a variety of events - she matches the music to the event!

  Grandson's wedding with Jessica Schaeffer, Harpist

  I heard Jessica play at an event in the Sacramento, Ca. area and approached her to play at my grandson's wedding. She was marvelous and EVERYONE enjoyed her music selections. I would strongly urge you to have her play at your wedding.
