Flawless Photos, Seamless Planning, and Total Magic
Choosing Jessica as our photographer was one of the easiest decisions we made. From our very first meeting, it felt like catching up with a friend.
If you are looking for a photographer who is both a pro and a joy to be around, hire Jessica. She handled our crowded cherry blossom engagement session with so much patience, delivering stunning photos where the crowds completely vanished through her editing.
Leading up to the wedding, her communication was top-tier. She worked closely with us and our wedding coordinator to build a seamless timeline that navigated three different locations. On the day of, our families and guests absolutely loved her energy and haven’t stopped talking about how great she was to work with. She captured the story of our day perfectly, from getting ready to the reception.
To top it all off, she sent us a 'sneak peek' before we even headed home for the winter holidays! Seeing that joy and magic captured so flawlessly was the best gift. If you want a photographer who feels like a friend but produces editorial-quality work, we cannot recommend Jessica enough! -

Jessica was our photographer for our April 2025 wedding and we cannot recommend her highly enough! She is amazing at what she does, and really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. From the start, we felt like Jessica really understood what we were looking for in our photos and got to know us personally to better capture moments and photos that felt like “us”! We did both an engagement mini session and had her and a 2nd shooter for our entire wedding day. Her energy and positivity was contagious and she made us and all of our guests feel at ease at our event. Throughout our wedding day, we noticed Jessica and her second shooter carefully observing and working really hard to capture the small moments that are easily missed in the hubbub. This means so much to us as we look back at our photos; we can see the small moments between guests that we missed, and we can feel the energy and excitement of the day. Months after our wedding, our guests are still commenting on how beautiful our photos are and how amazing Jessica was, and we wholeheartedly agree! Do yourself a favor and hire Jessica. If we had another wedding tomorrow, we would want to work with Jessica again! -

We are so grateful to have had Jessica as our wedding photographer. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and thorough from start to finish. She captured every moment—big, small, and everything in between—with such care and artistry.
But what truly impressed us was how much she went above and beyond her role. Whenever an extra hand was needed to fix my jewelry or adjust my outfit, she was right there without hesitation. She was also so knowledgeable and respectful of my culture and the nuances that differ from American weddings, which meant more to me than I can express. My family noticed it too—they kept commenting on how exceptional she was throughout the day.
We feel so lucky to have had Jessica with us. Her presence brought calm, support, and joy, and her work speaks for itself. I couldn’t imagine our wedding without her. Highly recommend! -

We hired Jessica for our June 2025 wedding at St. Francis Hall, and it was the best decision that we made! She is hands down the most amazing photographer and the absolute easiest, and best person to work with. Jessica was able to perfectly capture all the big and little moments of our wedding day. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day smooth and memorable.
We met with Jessica a few weeks before our wedding, and she helped us narrow down how we wanted our wedding day to flow. She helped us build a timeline, focus on what is important to us, and ensure that we come up with a photo list that captures everyone we want photographed. She was extremely realistic about the timings it takes for photos, and helped us decide what package we needed for photography.
Prior to the wedding, I found a few photos of the St. Francis gardens that I loved. Jessica had not seen this part of the gardens before, so she traveled to the venue for our walkthrough to understand potential photo shots for our first look. This went above and beyond what she needed to do and really shows how much she cares about her clients and about the artistic integrity of her work.
On the morning of our wedding day, Jessica arrived at the getting ready spot on-time and was calm, flexible, and genuinely happy to be there. She silently orchestrated photos in the background and did not interrupt the flow of our day. For our first look, she gave great instructions and truly made my husband and me feel comfortable (neither of us had been professionally photographed previously). Jessica and her supporting photographer Morgan were absolute rock stars with the children in the family photos. My family still comments on how amazing they were with kids.
At the ceremony, Jessica was everywhere, capturing all the special moments, and all our guests on the dance floor. I really cannot speak highly enough about Jessica. If you want the most amazing photos and the most pleasant, efficient, kind and flexible photographer, hire Jessica.

Wedding Photographer
I cannot recommend Jessica enough! If you want someone to be a calming presence, capturing everything from your special day and delivering incredible photos quickly, she is the one you want to book. From the very beginning Jessica was super helpful in our planning process, offering to make recommendations for other vendors and support in any way we needed. She didn’t ask a lot of us but communicated just what was important to ensure we were not stressed out in any way. Leading up to the event she even helped us with our run of show and setting up our family photo groups; she didn’t miss a beat. The day of our wedding she was super helpful dealing with family craziness and unplanned for traffic. We had so many guests come up to us and mention that she was everywhere, capturing everything and boy did the final result of her photos prove it. We were worries that with our reception inside it would be hard to capture good pictures on the dance floor, but she proved us wrong. The thing that was super special to us is that she was able to capture everyone’s personalities in her photos! She even walked us through her editing and asked if there was more, she could do! Jessica is amazing and we loved working with her! She photographed our engagement shoot and our wedding. Overall our experience working with her was seamless, we normally think of ourselves as awkward in photos but she made us feel comfortable and took stunning candid and posed photos of us (and our dog)! We love how the photos turned out, they're so vibrant and colorful, while also feeling natural. Jessica was also super helpful at our wedding walkthrough, giving us valuable insight on how to plan the ceremony and reception to allow for the best photos. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jessica Nazarova for our engagement shoot and our wedding. From the first phone call, it was clear how passionate she is about her work. We were impressed with her excitement, enthusiasm, and her approach. She said her style is not about posing us but capturing moments. She would prove to do just that! We loved all of the photos from start to finish and not spending the entire wedding posing and being reposed instead of mingling with guests or enjoying ourselves. She was not only very flexible for our schedule -my husband is in the military and had limited leave at the time - but also warm and very communicative. She captured beautiful moments at our engagement shoot even when the weather didn't cooperate. She met with us to view both the church and the venue and gave us recommendations for vendors. We appreciated her expertise during the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding, there were a few hiccups but Jessica wasn't one of them. Her warmness helped to elevate the stress and get the day back on track. She took thousands of photos and they are all beautiful. She has an exceptional eye for capturing moments - from us walking down the aisle to shots on the dance floor - you can feel the energy of the celebration. Not only was Jessica the person we chose to do our engagement photoshoot, she happened to be the first person EVER to do a photoshoot for us. My fiancé & I scoped out plenty of photographers in the DMV area, but landed on Jessica initially for her style of photography (duh!). Immediately on her website, she features an array of diverse couples along with bright, vivid beautiful colors in addition to natural candid-looking photos. With this being our first professional photoshoot, we were nervous with how they would turn out but she immediately made us feel comfortable. She guided us literally from start to finish -- from help w/ choosing which outfit we should wear to where we should start our engagement session at considering flow of traffic and lighting of the evening. We never felt rushed nor awkward, and we truly appreciated that. I still look at our photos in awe til this day. If we were having a wedding in the DMV, I would have highly considered her for the day of!! -

Simply the BEST!
Jessica made my dream engagement and wedding photos come true! I searched high and low for a wedding photographer and she stood out with her vibrant use of color which is hard to find in a world of over exposed wedding photography. Her attention to detail and editing skills are unmatched, and on top of that she is the most kind, genuine and professional person you could ever meet.
My mom had recently passed away just before my wedding and she made sure to capture special details honoring my mom. She was also great with kids and maintained an amazing energy the entire night. Jessica has been a dream to work with. We booked her for the package with both engagement and wedding photos, with a second shooter for the wedding. We would recommend her in a heartbeat. On a personal level, she is friendly, fun, easy-going, and engaging with clients and guests. On a professional level, she has a wealth of experience that helps planning and day-of go smoothly. That was especially appreciated as we had had to scale down the wedding to a micro-wedding due to the health crisis, making all of our plans change up at the last minute. At the wedding, she and her second shooter were naturals with our wedding party. They handled our stubborn (but adorable) 4-year-old ring bearer with casual ease and managed to get a lot of good shots of him. She did a fantastic job of getting truly joyful shots of everyone there. Critically, she made our photos look like a celebration, rather than the photos feeling awkward with our 20-person guest list. My husband and I have spent all morning passing our phones back and forth, sharing our favorite shots (which is all of them). We're so thrilled to share the photos with our loved ones that weren't able to come due to health concerns. It is a special blessing to have such lovely memories of our special little night! -

Jessica was seriously our favorite vendor of our entire wedding, which was great because it turns out your photographer is one of your most important. When we secured her services after doing a few interviews with different photographers, I had no idea how important her fun and confident style would be in not only making our day special but also helping to wrangle our guests to where they needed to be. Jessica was so sweet, encouraging and took AMAZING photos. We were seriously overwhelmed by trying to figure out our "photo style" and choose someone that aligned with it. Jessica took not only the glamour shots we wanted to display, but also the candid shots that so clearly captured how unforgettable our wedding day was.
I cannot recommend her highly enough. My only regret is that we had a pandemic wedding with a quick turnaround and skipped engagement photos!! -

One word: amazing
Jessica has been AMAZING. I was very picky about photographers and how I wanted my photos to come out. We met Jessica when she was shooting our friends’ wedding and when I checked out her site I was in love! Her prices were affordable, she’s a DREAM to work with, and she’s an all around amazing person. My husband is not super comfortable in front of a camera but she was able to capture the most amazing shots during our engagement shoot (she even travelled to our family’s house in WV) of us and our pup. When our wedding was cancelled due to Covid, she reschedule with us and came to our backyard and still made me feel like a bride, even thought it was just my husband, myself, the rabbi, and her. If/when we are able to have a “real” wedding again, she will be the FIRST person I call. -

I cannot say enough about Jessica. She was the best decision we made. My pictures are absolutely stunning and I’ve only seen the sneak peak so far. I couldn’t pick a few so I shared the whole album on my social media (because that’s how good she was). She let us enjoy our day and we didn’t even know she was photographing half of the stuff she captured (truly amazing). My husband did not want to be pulled to take a ton of pictures and she respected that, pulled us only for the must have shots and let us have fun the rest of the time. Patricia Sent on 07/31/2020Meet Jessica, the Most Epic Photographer Ever.
Where do I even begin? I reached out to Jessica around Feb. of 2020 to photograph our 9/26/20 wedding date. She was so responsive from the start-in every way. I would send her pictures of what I was thinking for my Bridesmaids dresses and she would offer advice on coloring and style and how it would look in photos. Once COVID started to spread, I was nervous about our date and she even offered to work out a backup date a few months after our original date. She really puts your comfort and desires ahead of her own.
Then COVID got worse and I started to realize a 200 person wedding was not only infeasible, but it was unsafe. Any bride who has been there, knows this can be a moment of heartbreak. I called Jessica and asked her if she would be available to photograph Brett and I in an elopement type wedding ceremony on July 17... yes, in two weeks from our convo. She had the date open and changed my contract to the new date. Any bride who has had to move around their wedding vendors because of COVID knows how difficult it can be. But in a time of chaos and uncertainty, Jessica was flexible, understanding, and kind.
Not only did she commit to the new date- she legit helped me plan my ENTIRE WEDDING IN TWO WEEKS. My mom died last year so I didn't really have someone to help me put everything together, especially so last minute. Jessica stepped up and guided me through it all. She sent me a list of venues that might work for a last minute wedding (we went with 48 Fields which was so perfect), videographers, officiants (Rabbi Patrick all day, everyday) and even helped me find an available Make-up artist (Christen conceptual beauty). The bottom line is when you hire Jessica you also hire her big heart, her passion for weddings, and her knowledge and experience with others in the industry.
The day of Jessica was extremely COVID-19 conscientious. She took all precautions and my 24 guests felt comfortable and respected her space as well. It was really hard for us all not to hug her because we loved her so much. She feels like a member of our group of friends now. I will hire her for everything for the rest of my life: baby shower, 30th anniversary, you name it, Jessica will be there taking her epic photos.
I want to end by speaking to her talent of capturing you and your loved ones in the most raw and perfect settings. You have to go to her instagram and see the pictures she took of our wedding. INSANE. She also gave me my VERY LARGE SNEAK PEAK 48 HOURS AFTER WEDDING. You just do not do that unless you are a professional who is passionate about what they do. Finally, at one point when my husband and I were dancing to his parent's wedding song, Jessica realized that no one was taking a video and she felt it was a special moment so she whipped out her phone and took a video. She sent it to me the morning after our wedding and it brought tears to my eyes.
Please ask Jessica for my number if you need any more convincing; although, after seeing her portfolio, I doubt you will.

It’s hard to know where to start with the praises I have for Jessica! She is truly amazing! Not only is she extremely talented at her craft, but she also has a warm personality that put my fiancé and I at ease from the moment we met her. She really felt like a friend from the beginning, and she was there for me whenever I had a question. She even has a list of other vendors she’s worked with and recommends which I found very helpful! Jessica was INCREDIBLE. Looking through her albums, we knew our photos would be amazing, but my partner and I didn't expect them to be high art. From our first meeting to the (very long) day of the wedding, Jessica was thoughtful, helpful, and flexible. She blended into the background at the ceremony and reception (my partner and I have no recollection of noticing her or her assistant photographing us at any point -- we have NO idea how she managed to get some of the photos she did). She has a way of photographing peoples' emotions so candidly and perfectly, and you can really see the joy of the day shining through in the final product. We felt like she captured our most treasured feelings and moments, and the beauty of our wedding day sublimely.
Despite several important family members being very late to the wedding, she was also able to photograph all the family portraits we wanted and she did it with patience and ease. My brother actually had assumed that Jessica was a good friend of ours who happened to be a professional photographer -- he had no idea we had only known her for a few months.
We couldn't recommend Jessica enough. -

Where to even begin!
Where to even begin! I found Jessica's portfolio while doing a fortuitous Google search and fell in love with her style. When I contacted her about pricing, we were only planning on having an engagement shoot done but had such a good time we asked if she would be willing to come out and photograph our wedding as well. (That shoot alone was worth a 5-star review for the fun all 3 of us had together and how beautifully the shots came out!) In addition to being an AMAZING photographer, having Jessica there on our wedding day honestly felt like having another good friend along. She was so kind to our family and friends as they also wanted to take some pictures and helped do everything from arrange my dress to pour champagne. She dealt gracefully with and was fully prepared for overheating cameras (a very hot day outdoors) and used great discretion when I hadn't given her all the facts ahead of time. Bobby and I love Jess and hope we have an excuse to do a shoot with her again in the future! -

We stopped meeting with other photographers after meeting Jessica. We loved her portfolio before meeting her and afterwards there was no doubt she was the perfect photographer for the wedding we were planning. Aside from her talent, her fun loving and relaxed attitude made us confident that she was the best photographer for us. Having never done any sort of photo shoot before, she was phenomenal in getting us comfortable being in front of a camera and I think it shows in our pictures. Regularly, she went above and beyond for us. We wanted our wedding portraits shot in a location that she hadn't shot before, so she scouted the location in advance to find the ideal spots. She's also given us countless wedding tips and connected us with several vendors. Not only did our pictures come out great, our wedding was smoother overall because of her help. Jessica is absolutely the best wedding photographer, hands down! From the beginning, she made us feel comfortable and we loved getting to know her through our engagement session. She made us feel calm in all our nerves before the ceremony and captured every moment so perfectly. From our wedding parties to our guests, EVERYONE mentioned how kind and amazing Jessica was. By the end of the night, she was a part of our family, and we really cannot imagine the best day of our lives without her there. Where do I even begin. I first knew Jess was the photographer for us by how smoothly our initial phone call went and how easy it was to talk to her (I was in Ohio when I was trying to book vendors for my Maryland wedding). Jess did not try to sell me anything I didn't need and was completely understanding when I told her we had a friend who had offered to do our engagement pictures (most other photographers I spoke with seemed offended by this). Between the day when we booked Jess as our photographer and our wedding day, Jess and I had met a handful of times in person to go over vendors, recommendations, timelines, etc. I have to mention that Jess did not need to do any of this and that none of this was in our contract. The fact that she volunteered her free time to meet with us and help us bring together our wedding vision speaks volumes about not only the kind of person she is but also how much she loves what she does. Over the course of the year leading up to the wedding, Jess would periodically check in with us to see how we were doing. I felt like she became more of a friend than just a vendor that we hired. On the day of our wedding, she not only made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we got all the pictures that we wanted (and our pictures were STUNNING - I still look through them almost daily even 2 months later), but she made sure we felt natural, comfortable, and she made us laugh SO MUCH! She was out on the dance floor with all our guests until the very end of the night, snapping pictures of people breaking it down on the dance floor and boy are we glad we have these pictures. Our guests after the wedding told us that Jess felt more like a member of the family than a photographer at the wedding. We were so incredibly lucky to have her shoot our wedding and be a part of our big day. We miss her already and highly recommend her to all the couples getting hitched in the MD/DC/VA area! -

The best photographer
Where to begin... Jessica is hands down the best!!!! She is not only a wonderful person but an amazing photographer. She photographed my wedding last weekend and the sneak peaks were absolutely stunning. Jessica made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and wouldn't have wanted anyone else to shoot the best day in our lives. I will cherish these photos for a lifetime. -

Melanie Sent on 05/07/2018Jessica did an AMAZING job with our wedding pictures at La Ferme. From the start, Jessica was willing to help Joey and I plan our timeline for our special day. She met us at Starbucks and provided awesome recommendations. She was able to learn about my personality and my husband's personality during our meetings (which definitely showed in the pictures!)
Looking back at our photos now, it is almost like we had a videographer. I can now remember my wedding from the beginning to the end!! She is very creative and did a great job executing our first look pictures. She also caught the best moments on camera (like me looking so scared getting lifted in the chair during the hora!)
My mom and I are so excited to work with Jessica to make a photo book. It's going to be tough picking from all the amazing pictures!! Thanks again Jessica!! -

From the first email correspondence and phone call, I knew Jessica was going to be the perfect photographer for our big day. Not only was her storytelling style exactly what we were looking for, but her personality just fit well with us. Over the year of wedding planning before the wedding, I turned to Jessica multiple times, not only for photography questions, but also for general wedding advice. I am the first of my friends and family to get married and really didn't know what I was doing. She answered all my questions (and there were many) without judgment and provided vendor recommendations as well as advice. On the day of the wedding, Jessica was on time and immediately started capturing the details of the day. We also had a second shooter, Stephanie, for a few hours, who worked mostly with the guys. My husband said she was very kind and professional as well. At the reception, Jessica was all over the dance floor with us -- she's mastered multitasking of dancing and photographing :) The day after the wedding (yes, the very next day), Jessica sent us the link to our sneak peek gallery -- which wasn't a sneak peek at all. There were over 75 photos! The day after the wedding!! Amazing. It's almost sad to think that we're now done working with Jessica. She truly was a dream vendor. Khyati Sent on 11/08/2015We found Jessica on Craigslist after looking for a talented, affordable photographer for weeks. She was able to meet us in advance of our event and we instantly liked her. She was responsive and helpful and willing to communicate with us in the weeks before and after the event. On the day of the event, Jessica was there early and got all the shots, of which there were many. She took beautiful pictures-both posed and natural action shots-and our guests have since been raving about them. After the event, she sent us a USB of the pictures (which some photographers are reluctant to do), created an online gallery (which we were able to send to family around the world), and helped us with creating a photo Thank You card. Jessica will do an amazing job in capturing all the special moments on your day and in making everyone look their best. We'll be calling on her for future special events! -

We loved working with Jessica for our engagement shoot and wedding day! She was so great working with a wide cast of family members and helped us get the shots we wanted. Jessica was amazing. We found her online and heard only good things from a friend who had worked with her and she absolutely did not disappoint. She has an amazing personality that made our wedding day feel even more special. And she exuded professionalism and expertise. She took care to capture essential photos but also focus on candid moments. We loved the sneak photos that we have seen so far and have no doubt that we will love the entire collection. We are referring our loved ones getting married in the future to her because we couldn’t imagine someone else photographing a loved ones’ wedding. We would hire her again in a heartbeat and the sister of the bride is even going to use her this next year!
