If you are looking for the perfect hype girl, the sweetest soul, or an unbelievable talent, then Jessica is your girl! We are absolutely in love with our engagement and wedding photos. We know we will treasure these precious moments that she captured for the rest of our lives! We cannot say enough good things about Jessica Lauren! -

amazing photos!
It is hard to put into words how thankful I am that we booked Jessica Lauren to be our wedding photographer. Not only is her work absolutely amazing quality with a unique style, Jessica is a great person to work with. She is extremely organized and helped us create a schedule beforehand to keep our wedding day on track. She stepped in and basically acted as a wedding coordinator to help make sure we stuck to that schedule as much as possible. Also, for someone who is typically uncomfortable in front of the camera, I was nervous going into the engagement session if that nervousness would show in our photos. During both the engagement session and the wedding, Jessica did an amazing job at posing us naturally and making us feel like models. Her encouraging words truly put us at ease! The only issue you might run into when booking Jessica Lauren.. good luck picking photos!! We have soooo many magazine quality pictures to chose from! -

I first met Jessica Lauren when she photographed one of my friends weddings, and that moment I knew she was who was going to photograph mine (when the day came). Well my day came and Jessica was the first person I contacted. She is so sweet, full of life, and extremely easy to work with! She does an amazing job at capturing real life moments and I have never felt more beautiful! Anytime I had a change in plans or a question, she was so easy to get ahold of! You can tell she loves what she does and the proof is in her photos! To say Jessica Lauren is the best photographer is an understatement! But for what it’s worth, hands down, 100% best photographer ever! -

Elise Sent on 10/14/2017(Warning- long review, but totally worth the read- I promise!!!) I was in my best friend's wedding a couple years ago where Jessica Lauren was the photographer. I figured she was just your average wedding photographer, but I could not have been more wrong. When Jen got her pictures back and shared them with us, I was blown away. I'd never seen such amazing wedding photos or even knew they were possible to be honest. Fast forward 2 years, I got engaged. The first person I contacted was Jessica. All I can say is thank goodness she had our date open! I will be very transparent and say that I did research on the photographers in the Kansas City area for days- reading reviews, looking at portfolios, you name it. I even remember saying "mom, nothing even comes close to these pictures". And that's very apparent when you look at her website, her blog, etc. You can see for yourself how talented she is and how STUNNING her pictures are. But, what you can't see, is how amazing Jessica is, which is arguably the best part. You don't realize as a bride that you'll spend more time with your wedding photographer on your wedding day than you do your husband (it's true!), so you gotta make it good. Jessica set up a phone sesh for us to chat and I honest to goodness think we talked for over an hour. She is so easy to get along with, so kind, so genuine and so positive to be around. She goes above and beyond with everything she does. I have truly gained a lifelong friend out of booking a wedding photographer- who knew?!??? The last thing you want on your wedding day is to be worried or nervous about how things will turn out, especially photos, because that's all you have left after that day is over (besides your husband!). I honestly wouldn't have trusted anyone else the way I trusted her to capture the magic of that day. You only get the day once, but I can re-live it through my photos forever. 5 stars simply just doesn't do her justice. -
Sydney Sent on 08/03/2018You could not ask for a better photographer than Jessica. The photos themselves are stunning; I loved literally every single one of them. I normally feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, but Jessica makes everyone look and feel photogenic! The poses feel effortless and look so natural. And whatever Jessica does in the composition and editing process is like magic - every photo looks radiant. Dozens of my friends and family members have reached out to me specifically to rave about how much they loved the photos. One look at her website or Instagram and her talent is obvious!
The cherry on top of it all is that Jessica is a kind, loyal soul who gets genuinely invested in the lives of her clients. On top of her photographic talents, she has some outstanding God-given business instincts. Jessica consistently went above and beyond for us, from helping us make a wedding day timeline, to recommending other vendors, to sending us little gifts. She’s the real deal!!
P.S. Although she’s only made a few wedding films so far, she is well on her way to being one of the BEST wedding videographers in the area. She has a natural talent for capturing the emotion of not only the wedding day, but the entire essence of the couple’s love story! Take the opportunity NOW to have her as your wedding filmmaker too, before everyone else discovers her! -

User2531961 Sent on 02/11/2016Jessica is one of the sweetest and most genuine ladies out there. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, she is the go-to-girl! She is extremely professional and kind. She values her clients tremendously and treats you like your her family {this includes adorable gifts, might I warn you!}. I was nervous going into my engagement session, but she walked my fiancé and I through the entire session and made us both feel very comfortable. She doesn't push you out of your comfort zone or make you do something unnatural. I was stressing out about wedding to-do list and time crunches and she spoke with me on the phone for nearly an hour explaining how the day would go and that it would be very smooth. I am very excited for her to shoot my wedding this June. I know that she will help keep the day moving along joyfully and that she will be patient with my large wedding party! I would highly recommend Jessica to any other bride. She is joy to work with and her images are gorgeous. :) Thank you Jessica!!! -

Before I booked her I told her my fiance hates getting his picture taken and that we don't like PDA. She said she had worked with people like this before and not to worry. However, after our engagement shoot, she emailed me and said she wouldn't shoot our wedding. She said my fiance was not cooperative enough and that he was disrespectful to me. She also said very inappropriate things about our relationship and implied we shouldn't get married. When my fiance tried to call her she refused to call him back and emailed him instead. I have never been treated like this before, especially as a customer! She does not care what her clients want. She only care about what she wants her blog to look like. She was very unprofessional and I would not recommend her to anyone!
