Simply put, Jessi is an amazing photographer! She is a wonderfully talented photographer who took amazing photos for my husband and I during our engagement shoot and also the wedding day. She really knows her stuff as every photo session went smoothly and was stress free. I hired Jessi as my photographer for both my engagement shoot and wedding, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment I met her, it felt like I had known her for years. She was always easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had, which made the whole process a lot easier.
What drew me to Jessi was her natural, true-to-life photography style. I was very particular when searching for photographers because I didn’t like overly edited photos. Jessi’s work captures colors as they truly are, and her candid shots capture the moment effortlessly. Even my husband who hates taking pictures felt comfortable with her. He mentioned how fast our engagement session took.
On the wedding day, she arrived early, and her presence immediately put me at ease. She guided us through poses and made sure to capture every photo on my shot list. When we received our engagement photos and wedding sneak peeks, I was obsessed with every single picture. Plus, her turnaround time was so fast!
I can’t recommend Jessi enough and will absolutely continue to use her for all my future photos. -

We had the pleasure of working with Jessi for our wedding in Frederick, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! From the moment Jessi and I spoke on the phone she was warm, friendly, and so easy to talk to. I was a little nervous about having a camera following me around all day, but Jessi made it feel so natural. She allowed me to enjoy the day with my bridesmaids, family, and husband without feeling pressured. Her easygoing approach and great sense of humor made her a perfect fit for our celebration.
Not only was Jessi wonderful to be around, but the photos she captured were absolutely stunning! She was able to capture the most beautiful moments, from the candid smiles to the intimate glances between my husband and me. And we were so impressed when we received sneak peeks within just a day! The full gallery was even more incredible.
Jessi is incredibly talented, and I can’t recommend her enough. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her for future photography needs, and I would encourage anyone looking for a photographer who truly knows how to capture the magic of the day to book her! -

Second, the quality and technical expertise of her photographs speak for themselves, but they turned out even more perfect than we could have imagined. Third, Jessi went way above and beyond at every turn. Not only was she a photographer, but she was a coordinator and facilitator for our day. Jessi was a joy to work with - from engagement photos to managing stresses the day of. She worked with us to ensure our complicated timeline was perfect, that we had plenty of time for family photos, and more. She even got some amazing reception party photos, which can be hard to look good in. Hands down, hiring Jessi was one of the best things we did in planning our wedding.
The gorgeous quality of her work is equally matched to her wonderfully kind, goofy, respectful and thoughtful demeanor. Several friends in our wedding party who have been part of other folks' nuptials have individually taken us aside and mentioned how impressed they were with how Jessi ran the portrait sessions. She created a fun, engaging, calm and yet productive atmosphere that didn't drag, all while constantly helping to facilitate transitions. And in speaking of, though she herself isn't Jewish, she knew all of the various Jewish wedding customs (talk about transitions!) and didn't miss a beat!
Throughout the planning process and on the big day itself, Jessi was tremendously supportive of not just my husband and I, but of my family as well. My late father and I were extremely close, and not having him there was something none of us could have ever predicted. We knew that as amazing a day the wedding would be, it'd also be a difficult one. Without our asking, Jessi knew when to put down her camera, and instead give us warm hugs, or the space we needed to be sad. She didn't ignore or disregard our feelings, and when we were ready, she gently led the charge to continue. Ultimately, working with her was like working with a friend, opposed to engaging in a distanced business transaction and we couldn't be more thrilled with how our photos came out! -

Where do I even begin with Jessi? Hiring Jessi was possibly the best decision we made in regards to our wedding. Jessi truly went above and beyond to make our day special and we couldn't be happier with our photos. She is not only so talented, but she is a funny, kind, down to earth person who is easy to work with. She knows exactly what she is doing and knows how to control the group to keep things moving while still keeping the atmosphere fun and light. She listened to our preferences, and we were actually able to get all our photos done before cocktail hour, which was something we were hoping for!! I was very nervous for photos (I am not usually a fan of having my picture taken) but Jessi made it feel so fun and enjoyable!! A tropical storm hit right on our wedding day, and Jessi made what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour look absolutely stunning in the tent. She did not miss a beat making the indoor photos GORGEOUS, and worked with us when we pivoted plans multiple times due to the rain in the week or so leading up to the wedding. She made sure we knew she was always just a phone call away whenever we needed her, and she was always very responsive to text, email or call when questions came up. Jessi was so good at calming us down, listening to our needs, and making us feel reassured. Not to mention her 2nd photographer, Kaite, was also incredible to work with! Jessi and Katie both were helping with things beyond their duties as photographers, like working with the venue coordinators to make sure we stayed on schedule, and even bustling my dress! I'm so beyond grateful to Jessi for making what could have felt like a stressful day due to the rain so fun and full of love. And the pictures mean so much to my husband and I and our families. All we can really say is, THANK YOU!! -

Jessi was so wonderful start to finish. She was always responsive, helpful, and professional. She even tried to help us find a dog sitter for our big day- way outside of the job description! Jessi made us feel so comfortable day of and really listened to our vision. It was important to us that our special day was captured with us experiencing it and not so much being pulled away for photos, and she did exactly that. We had our sneak peak the very next day which was just enough to hold us over for the real deal. Her style is true to color and timeless, which was exactly what we wanted. Amazing!!!
The absolute best!! My husband and I had our engagement and wedding pictures with Jessi and we’re super uncomfortable in front of the camera but you would never know by the photos Jessi took. She makes you feel comfortable and captures every special moment. Extremely well organized with timelines as well! Do yourself a favor and book your photo sessions with Jessi, her photos keep these beautiful moments from running away! -

Jessi was a dream to work with from start to finish. She was communicative, friendly, and reassuring from the start and helped us feel totally at ease throughout the planning process. When we realized we would be faced with a rainy wedding day, Jessi was so helpful in calming our concerns and showed up prepared to capture our day. We got some BEAUTIFUL shots in the rain and Jessi was quick to make sure we could time portraits during the breaks in the showers that we did get that day.
Something I learned on our wedding day was how important it is to pick a photographer you're comfortable with and want to be friends with because you spend SO MUCH TIME with them on that important day. I'm so glad Jessi was with me on our wedding day, she went above and beyond (literally recurled my hair for me after it got a little messed up from the rain) to make sure I felt confident and relaxed.
Jessi is one of those photographers who genuinely cares about you and making sure you love your photos no matter what inevitable obstacles you may face, and I'm so grateful to have gotten to work with her! -

Incredible photographer
Jessi is awesome. As a couple who hates getting their picture taken professionally - Jessi was really good at helping my now husband and I feel comfortable and natural in front of a camera. Her photos are stunning. What I really loved about Jessi is that she doesn't go overboard with a specific style/lighting. She just goes off the natural colors of what are in the photo and the result is gorgeous. She takes the time to get beautiful photos of the bride and groom of course, but also close family members and friends. She is reasonably priced and won't try to up-sell you on something you truly don't need. My husband, family, and wedding guests all raved about her. She's just the best! -

Wow! Jessi was one of the BEST parts of wedding vendor team. She was with us through postponing due to COVID and I cannot recommend her more, I would give 500 stars if I could! Jessi's passion for taking amazing photos is so obvious, she is incredibly creative and it shows! Our engagement photos were perfect and the wedding photos even better. She fully captured the day and was so personable while doing it! So many people came up to me asking where I found her during and after the wedding. Outside the photos Jessi was also extremely organized and I went to her for so much! She even helped me find a replacement make up artist. Hire her now- Jessi is unbelievable, Hire her now!! -

Jessi is such a talented photographer and we recommend her to everyone! My husband and I hired her for both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding. We could not have been happier with how all of our photos turned out, we love her style and depth of natural colors to capture all of the special moments! Jessi made us feel very comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Additionally, we had reschedule our original spring wedding date to later in the fall due to COVID, and Jessi was amazingly flexible and understanding through all of our challenges, and had great communication during the entire process! 10/10 Highly Recommend! -

I’m not kidding. She’s amazing. She takes beautiful pictures. AND she’s super fun to be around. She made us feel so comfortable. From the first time I met Jessi in person I basically just wanted to be her best friend.
Our engagement pics were amazing and I just got our wedding pics back and honestly don’t know how I’m going to even pick just a few to go along with this post! It’s going to take me five years to make my wedding album because I really will not be able to narrow them down... -

Jessi was amazing and I would hire her again in a heart beat. Being a Covid Bride wasn't in anyone's plans, and Jessi helped us make the best of it. I especially appreciate how responsive, compassionate, understanding and caring she was. Her photos are phenomenal, and both my husband's family and mine loved having her on our board for part 1 of our special day. She was also great with our dogs who we incorporated in the photos as well. She has a true eye for artistic shots, and I'm so glad we trusted her to capture our special day. We first met Jessi at the Frederick Bridal Expo. We are from North Carolina so we did not have many word-of-mouth recommendations and first impressions were very important. Jessi was such a pleasure to meet and we knew immediately that we wanted her to be a part of our wedding. She is exceptionally talented and knowledgeable in her field, which is made obvious when you take a look through some of her work and chat with her about what she does. It’s evident that she loves what she does and it was an easy decision to have her on board for our wedding day. We met with her about 5 months before our wedding to take advantage of the free engagement shoot. We had already done an engagement shoot in North Carolina prior to this, but she still allowed us to utilize the shoot to get to know her and her style. We did the shoot at our venue (Caboose Farm – Sabillasville, MD) and had an absolute blast. Despite it being a cold, rainy day she had us enjoying every minute and the result was beautiful pictures. She took the time to learn our venue so that on our wedding day she didn’t have to waste any time thinking of places to shoot. As anticipated, she (and her assistant Virginia) surpassed all of our expectations on our wedding day. We had a perfectly crafted photo schedule that allowed for us to enjoy ourselves fully while still getting beautiful “must have” shots. Our entire wedding party loved her and she was able to make everyone feel comfortable while shooting throughout the day. The photos of the two of us were breathtaking and they completely captured the magic of our day. We truly cannot say enough good things about her and how thankful we are to have found her! -

Jessi was not only amazing with me ( bride ) but with everyone. The could not have asked for any thing better. She took the time to really listen to what I want. Jessi and her partner, Barbara, were so amazing for my wedding day. Choosing the right photographer was a high priority for my wedding day, and I’m so glad I chose Jessi! She was so accommodating with me, as I planned my wedding long-distance, and never actually met her until the wedding day. She and Barb kept all the guests/wedding party laughing while taking pictures in the brutal July heat and they made sure to get the perfect pictures in an efficient amount of time. They were also great about creating “sunset” pictures, even though it had rained! Just the day after the wedding, Jessi had a few sneak peak pictures to show me, and I can’t wait to see the rest!! These two were so fun to work with and truly made my day amazing!! -

Good things come to those who wait...
The saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait." I can apply this saying to many things in life like meeting my now husband, my job, the house we just bought...and Jessi. I met Jessi by chance/luck. She was at a wedding expo where she won her both, and I was about to leave with my mom and mother in law. When all of a sudden, one of Jessi's photographs caught my eye and I stood there waiting to talk to her for about 20 minutes because she was talking to another future bride. Prior to meeting Jessi, I had a very frustrating experience with finding "the" photographer. Because let's face it, the photographers we fall in love with are completely out of out budget, and the photographers whose pictures are "meh" are in our budget. So back to Jessi, as soon as I started talking with her, I knew she was the photographer I had been waiting for. Her photos spoke to me and the whole vibe I wanted for my wedding day. From day one, Jessi was on it. She did everything in her power to help me be a calm, cool, collective bride. Her photos are hanging all over our new home and they are a true treasure. I look at them an can remember the exact moment they were taken during my wedding day. Jessi is a true professional, and I will be using her for future family photos throughout the years. Not only is she a terrific photographer, but she is an even cooler, down to earth human. I cannot thank her enough for capturing our wedding day. She's one in a million. -
