Jesse is the best!
We were so lucky to have the extremely talented Mr. Jesse Davis play at our Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding and cocktail hour! From the very beginning, Jesse impressed us with his professionalism, dedication, and genuine passion for his craft. One of the highlights of working with Jesse was his willingness to go the extra mile. He not only learned a new song specifically for our ceremony (“Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone) but also provided two phone call sessions to help us choose the perfect music for our special day. During one of these calls, we began talking about different music genres and the next second he brought out his guitar and started playing a live sample of “One Love” by Bob Marley! As soon as he started playing, we were so moved and impressed that we immediately decided to extend our contract and hire him for our cocktail hour! And let me tell you, he delivered beyond our expectations! Our guests are still raving about him! He has an extensive music repertoire to set the right mood and ambiance and is such a joy to work with. Any question or concern we had, he responded immediately. Choosing Jesse as our wedding guitarist was hands down the best decision we made. We wholeheartedly recommend him to any couple looking for a remarkable musician for their special day. Jesse's music is the soul of your wedding
I can't tell how important it is to have music in your wedding, and what's more how classical guitar can bring you and your guests to the moon, such a warm and intimate environment has been created by Jesse's music in the mural room at Santa Barbara courthouse; we had my favorite, iconic classical guitar song "romance" and my husband's favorite "ode to joy".

The staple to your Wedding Day
Where do I even start? Jesse is absolutely the perfect person to consider at your Wedding! . My Husband and I decided two days prior to hire a musician and I am so happy we found him. Not only was he flexible at a last minute request but he gave us a preview of his talent on the phone as we were deciding what songs to play. As soon as he started playing his guitar with no doubt said yes to his services. Jesse is a down to earth person who made the phone call pleasant for us. My guest enjoyed his magical touch it made the Mural Room at the Santa Barbara Court House that more beautiful. Thank you Jesse !

Amazing Wedding Guitarist!
Jesse performed at our wedding in Malibu last month at our ceremony and cocktail hour. He had a wide variety of songs to choose from and was very personable when discussing the vibe of my wedding beforehand.
I told him how my family loves The Beatles and it was so fun getting to hear classics like Blackbird and Hear Comes the Sun as I mingled with guests at cocktail hour.
I highly recommend Jesse!

My husband and I had a more casual wedding dinner at Convivo in Santa Barbara. We decided on the guitar & violin duo, and were really happy with how everything went. Wonderful Musician to Create the Perfect Atmosphere
We hired Jesse to provide solo guitar accompaniment for our intimate 35 person wedding. From the start of the process, Jesse was cordial, professional, and accommodating. He took the time to understand what we were looking to achieve for the tone our wedding and worked to suit his approach to our needs.
He has a extensive repertoire of quality songs at his disposal which he provides in an organized fashion for you to review and coordinate to your event. He also took the time to learn a special request for our event that was pivotal to our ceremony. It impressed us that he was able to perform solo or call upon a team of select team of talented musicians for a larger scale event. Jesse did a great job taking our requests into account and tailoring his set-list and performance to our tastes.
On the day of the performance, he arrived early dressed the part. He matched his performance setup to the space while following all the guidelines set out by the venue. We felt like we were in great hands the entire time. In person, he was patient, kind and courteous. We feel so lucky to have found him and had him as such an important part of our wedding. We'd recommend him to perform at any event without reservation.

Solo Guitarist at Courthouse
Amazing experience working with Jesse. I emailed him a week or so before our tiny wedding at the Santa Barbara courthouse on a hail mary request for a guitarist. Jesse was so quick to respond and work out the details. He even learned a new song I was hoping to walk down the aisle to. Having the solo guitar made the atmosphere so much more festive and relaxed and special. Our families loved it. Highly recommend working with him!

Jesse is amazing, he answered all of my questions and was always responsive and available over the phone and email. He added grace and happiness to our wedding in Santa Barbara and even accommodated with time when we signed our marriage certificate at the courthouse. Jesse was an absolute dream to work with! He was very easy to get ahold of over phone and email. He had a pre set sheet of details and song recommendations for whatever vibe you are looking for. His skill as a guitarist is incredible and he knew exactly what part of the song to play when walking down the aisle for the most emotional effect (we chose can’t help falling in love for me and canon in D for groom and parents). We also did a ring warming ceremony and requested From this Moment On by Shania Twain for that. Even though it wasn’t on his list of songs, Jesse prepared an arrangement and pulled it off beautifully. 12/10 recommend!!!

Jesse Davis was probably one of the most complimented vendors during our wedding. We hired him to play for our ceremony and he absolutely delivered! One of my favorite moments
Jesse played at our intimate ceremony and it was beautiful. He was very responsive and easy to work with. On wedding day, he arrived early to set up. We hired Jesse to play for our ceremony and a second guitarist to join him for cocktail hour. Our wedding was the day Hurricane Hilary blew through SoCal, (and an earthquake in Ojai…why not?) so we had lots of last minute shuffling and changes. Despite the shuffle, the ceremony was beautiful and guests keep telling us how much they enjoyed the live music for cocktail hour. Working with Jesse was seamless and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The song he played as I walked down the aisle was a tribute to my Dad, and I felt the connection in his beautiful rendition. It was perfect and I couldn’t recommend Jesse more for your special day!

A Beautiful Ceremony Band!
Jesse and his group of musicians were fantastic! Leading up to our wedding day, Jesse was super patient and flexible with our requests. Given that wedding planning is stressful as it is, this was important. He was very communicative and helpful through the entire process! From the moment I contacted Jesse, about 3 months prior to my wedding, he was extremely responsive. He has a friendly and fun demeanor and a great smile!
His music catalogue covers pretty much anything you could want for your wedding/ reception/ party/ whatever. He was also very helpful in guiding me along the way (and I thought picking music would be the easiest thing! Not the case..)
Honestly, I didn’t get to listen to much more than him playing while I walked down the aisle, but that was PERFECT (besides my dad speed walking..). It was just beautiful. I tried to listen a bit during our reception, but was pulled in various directions..
Jesse played for 2 hours and was very reasonably priced (definitely should raise your prices, Jesse!!).
I felt the musician was one of the most important choices, as he/ she/ they help set the mood/ tone for your entire event. We definitely made the perfect choice with Jesse.

You need to have Jesse on your wedding day!
We loved having Jesse as our guitar player on our wedding day. The coordination with him was super easy, he is very personable and made it super easy. He sent us a list of potential songs we could use but he was also open to learning a new tune if we wanted to.

Jesse and his team made our ceremony and cocktail hour so memorable! Carlos played for us, and our guests thought he was wonderful (as did we). Jesse has a long list of music to choose from that covers a variety of music preferences, and he's very responsive and easy to coordinate with. I'd highly recommend having them at your wedding!

TL;DR: HIRE THEM. We were so impressed with Jesse and his team! Having classical guitar was a priority for us, and we felt like it would really make our ceremony classic and beautiful. This team did not disappoint! The music itself was flawless, and there was a great variety of classical and contemporary music to choose from, from the wedding classics to more unique choices. All of the planning and setup was a breeze, and Jesse responded very quickly to all of our emails. We also thought that the prices were very reasonable. Exceptional talent!
Jesse Davis played for our outdoor wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and he was a joy to work with every step of the way. Given the outdoor setting he provided an amplifier and microphone for our officiant, arriving early to set up and test everything. We were able to choose an amazing selection of songs from his playlist that were perfect in every way. He even added a little extra pizazz to "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" to end the ceremony! We received several compliments from our guests. We highly recommend him for any event.

Amazing! Do yourself a favor and choose Jesse
We cannot recommend Jesse highly enough! We hired Jesse and his cello duet partner to play our wedding ceremony and they were fantastic. We had to postpone our wedding multiple times due to COVID and every step up the way Jesse was understanding, flexible and communicative. We also requested some specific somewhat unusual songs and he not only accommodated our requests, but went out and developed his own guitar and cello arrangement. The end result was amazing and sounded even better than we could have expected. Throughout the whole process he was extremely professional and a dream to work with. You won’t regret choosing Jesse!

I'd highly recommend Duo Subito for music at your wedding! Jesse and Daniel are a very talented duo and everyone shared how much they enjoyed our ceremony music. At first we weren't sure if we'd be able to afford live music for our ceremony but Duo Subito is very reasonable and worth every dollar! They are responsive and helped us to select each of our songs. We chose 2 selections from their list and they even learned a song for us on our special day. They're professional, kind, and I could listen to their guitar playing all day. Being from out of town, it was nerve wrecking finding someone to play at my wedding online rather than not face-to-face. Thank goodness Jesse and Daniel were everything I was looking for. Jesse sent me a few samples of his music, answered all of my million questions and they both learned a new song just to make me happy. I could not have had a better experience with these 2. They answered my random text messages, were very professional and even granted my request when I asked they make a special announcement that the ceremony be “phone free”. Jesse was probably one of our most professional and responsive vendors. Not only did he learn an insanely ridiculous and somewhat inappropriate song for our ceremony but he also learned my bridal processional "Delicate" by Damien Rice and it gave me chills all the way down the aisle. From the first phone call Jesse’s response to our event was professional, with creative ideas and a wide range of music choices. They learned “Let it Go” from Frozen for our flower girls procession. They will dress in clothes appropriate to your wedding— formal or more casual. We’d planned to be on the sand for our Santa Barbara ceremony but 3 days before had to change to a covered porch overlooking the ocean due to predicted rain and wind. Spanish Style guitar is a perfect touch.
Jesse's music performance was the perfect touch to our Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding in the Sunken Gardens lawn. It was a Spanish style ceremony with catholic traditions and the guitar made it elegant and elevated the experience for us and our guests. He asked us what songs we wanted played and we were able to chose from a list as well as incorporate some of his suggestions. My only suggestion is to have a package available for the larger weddings ( sunken gardens ) where it can run 60- 75 minutes to not be pressured for time during the day of the wedding. Aside from that, we were very happy with choosing Jesse as our ceremony musician.

It was so great having Jesse as our wedding guitarist. He was able to learn two songs that are close to us both and make them a part of our ceremony. In addition, he created such a romantic setting for us and our guests. The day wouldn't have been the same without him.

Just what we expected
Jesse did a great job for us. He was prompt, had his equipment set up and ready to go. HIs playing was great. The tone and volume was just right. Would definitely hire him again.
