  The Best in Pittsburgh

  From the minute we first contacted Jess for our wedding photos, she was absolutely amazing. She was responsive and answered all of the many questions we had within the hour. On our wedding day, she was an absolute joy to work with. Jess was able to capture the day from the minute we woke up to the last dance at our wedding. She made the day so fun! Our pictures came back absolutely gorgeous. Jess is an absolute must on your wedding day!!!

  Wonderful!

  Jess is amazing at what she does. My 3 small children loved posing for her and she had wonderful chemistry with them. The photos were absolutely beautiful.

  Jess Nelson is the best photographer. I would highly recommend her for all your photo needs. She is professional and super talented. Jess does all my family photos and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it. She is simply the best photographer around! You won’t be disappointed if you hire her to do pictures for your wedding, family photos, or any other special event. We love Jess Nelson Photography! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

  I loved working with Jess! She made coordinating easy, and on the day, I got to just let her do her thing, and she did an awesome job. She is so fun yet so professional, and amazing at what she does...exactly the person you want taking photos at your wedding!

  Jess Nelson makes every photo session enjoyable and free from stress! Her positive nature combined with amazing photography abilities enables her to catch the moment and then carefully edit the photos in order to produce the best possible results!   Jessie was so much fun to work with and our photos turned out amazing. I loved the direction she gave us for posing and she was incredibly personable. Jessie was so quick to respond to our communications and she is very gifted at what she does! We will definitely be using Jessie to capture our family’s photos in the future - she’s the best!

  Jess did an amazing job capturing our wedding, and we really enjoyed working with her! She was very personable and made us feel relaxed during the day. We were extremely pleased with the photographs we received from her, and they came very quickly. There was just the right amount of "staged" photos as well as candids. My best friend, who was in our wedding, liked her so much that she is going to use her for her wedding this summer. We would recommend her to anyone!

  We hired Jess Nelson for our 40th wedding anniversary party. Pictures turned out impeccable & her personality with our guests was iwonderful. I would highly recommend Jess for any event, big or small. You will not be disappointed she is fantastic! I highly recommend.

  Jess has taken photos for us several times, the most recent being our maternity photos. She is amazing! She is very professional and kind. She’s easy to get along with, too! I had a vision for the photos and she scouted out the perfect location that was exactly what I envisioned! She captured photos of a few ideas I had and lots of awesome ideas of her own! The pictures were perfect and we received them so quickly. I have also been at weddings that Jess has photographed and she was wonderful there, too! I highly recommend Jess for your wedding or other special photos.

  I loved working with Jess - she was so laid back yet professional, and her services were very affordable. I loved how our photos turned out - she did a great job capturing all our family and friends, and didn't miss a single important moment during the wedding.   Jess was so friendly and accommodating, and rolled with the punches really well for our wedding! She was very friendly with our guests and not phased by the flurry of excitement and family. She met with us before our wedding and got a list of photos we wanted, and her happy and chipper personality shined from day 1. I told my now husband that if our photographer got a small handful of good photos, he/she would have been worth the money. Jess got a bunch before we were even half through reviewing them. We were thrilled, especially considering her rates were cheaper than many in the area. (I should note, her photos posted online were better than most we saw in our price range too, and we picked her based on photo quality). I highly recommend Jess, and would definitely book her again!

  Please to all couples out there looking for a dependable photographer, look further.
  
  We booked Jess five months before our wedding (contract and all) and she cancelled service six weeks prior to our wedding, with the excuse that she had accidentally booked two weddings for the same day. I would recommend not counting on Jess for your wedding. Imagine if she had not noticed her error until later on. It would be even more disastrous. As it is, it's impossible to find an new photographer at this point and we are basically out of luck. Jess of course offered to provide us with one of her associates as a photographer but we do not know the individual form adam's off ox and it will be nowhere near a replacement in terms of a photographer who we researched for a month and planned for half a year in advance. THANK you JESS for ruining our wedding's photography.
