We used Jenny for our engagement photos in April 2025 and our wedding in September 2025. We couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. A mix of the NYC skyline, Liberty State park, Van Vorst park, and our apartment. We love having memories of our day. Our friends and family also love the photos. Jenny was also very well organized and gave us a sample timeline back when we hired her that I used to organize the day and other vendors. She was kind, always on time, and a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t recommend recommend her more. -

We hired Jenny for our wedding in Asbury Park in November 2024. She was very helpful and supportive during the planning phase. On the day of the wedding, Jenny was punctual and helped us stick to our tight schedule for the day. She was super professional and supportive with choosing locations and poses for our shots - we did not have to worry and the shots came out so amazing! During the ceremony and reception she was able to capture all our special moments while still allowing us to experience and enjoy our event. Looking through the album, we are so happy with how the pictures turned out. She really captured the essence of us and the joy we felt on our big day. Stunned by how stunning
Jenny was incredible. She photographed our engagement photoshoot and July 2024 wedding. Her eye for visual beauty and ability to understand what you are looking for with your photos makes her an outstanding photographer. There wasnt one second of our wedding day that wasnt captured because of her. We are so thankful to have hired Jenny to capture our moments. We hired Jenny after seeing the stunning photos she captured at a friends wedding, two more of my friends then hired her from this recommendation as well and i think it speaks volumes about how amazing Jenny is that so many friends hired her as well. -

Jenny is Waterloo Village's preferred photographer and it's incredibly easy to see why! We researched so many photographers and were having a hard time finding a) ones that fit our style and b) were available for a not astronomical price. When we looked up Jenny's info, we were immediately excited by how clean, bright, and airy her photos are. She definitely did not disappoint for our wedding either! Jenny was always communicative, helped us build our ideal shot list which had so many iterations of groups and family things, and had a lot of good suggestions for how to make the most out of our time and things we hadn't thought of like taking pictures with the fire pit. Her experience with the venue was a huge boon here as we easily got all our traditional posed photos done with time to spare pre-ceremony, and she knew the perfect route to take us around the venue (which is huge and has so many photo opps). She and her assistant Nicolette are also just super nice and easy to be around which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. They never once made us feel awkward or forced. She turned around our highlights within a week which was an incredible surprise to get on our honeymoon and I love every single picture already. We definitely recommend Jenny! -

Wonderful Wedding Photographer
Jenny is an absolute gem! We are so happy we found her to photograph our modern beach wedding at The Wave in Long Branch, NJ. Jenny has an amazing eye and took advantage of all the beautiful aspects of the venue allowing for a great variety of photos. And a good mix of candid and posed shots. It was so apparent that takes such pride in her work and loves the art, making us feel so comfortable and calm the entire time. Both my husband and I are camera shy but Jenny gave us clear direction and took into consideration everything we were and weren’t looking for. Jenny and Camilla were also extremely flexible and supportive the entire day. We can’t thank them enough for their enthusiasm and dedication. It’s so apparent in their work.

When you live in the NY area, it feels sooo overwhelming with who to choose for a photographer. For anyone feeling this, I highly recommend going with Jenny Flora Photography. She was a dream to work with. She did our engagement photo session, as well as our intimate wedding ceremony in April 2024.
She was extremely thorough, and she captured so many amazing and beautiful pictures. Moreover, she was always on time and kind. Ahead of the big day, she also sent us a questionnaire & we had a phone call as well. I was really impressed that she took the time to ask who would be attending, and she made a list of attendee’s names & asked exactly who we wanted to have photos with. At the ceremony, she even knew their names & quickly coordinated all the photos we wanted with family and friends.
The photos speak for themselves. I am going to include several in my review. Jenny is an extremely talented and gifted photographer, and she clearly knows what she is doing. Also, her prices are beyond reasonable. You won’t find the quality of work she does at that price anywhere else in the area.

What a wonderful experience it was while working with Jenny as we planned our wedding in 2020- 2021. We found Jenny through one of my husband's coworkers. I loved the way she took photos and her creativity really showed through her work. Jenny took the time to meet with us and give us lots of pointers on what looked good in our pictures. I could tell that she loved what she does, rather than someone who is just doing a "job". We planned our wedding during the pandemic so it was a challenging time. Our wedding/engagement pictures came back in a timely fashion and everyone who has seen them commented on how beautiful her work was. I loved the way Jenny's pictures were bright and the different poses that she used. Jenny was very easy to work with and talk to. I would definitely recommend Jenny to another couple planning their wedding. -

3x The Love for Jenny!
Hiring Jenny was the best decision we made in our [unexpectedly complicated] wedding planning journey. She photographed us at our official wedding back in 2020 when we had an intimate 7-person COVID ceremony. She took our “engagement photos” after we’d already been married for 11 months. And then she capped it all off by capturing our one year vow renewal complete with all your traditional wedding reception moments. Each time she absolutely nailed it. She has such an artistic eye, capturing beauty and intimate moments you don’t even realize are there. She frames every photo perfectly, managing to get perfectly landscaped shots without any bystanders, even in a crowded space like Union Square Park! And she made us feel warm with love and optimism despite our wedding day being an unseasonable 35 degrees in a torrential downpour in May! She felt more like a friend celebrating alongside us for each event. And we are already talking about when we can have Jenny take pictures for us again, not only because she does such an amazing job but because we genuinely already miss her as a person! We can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Jenny for everything! -

We loved working with Jenny! From our first conversation with Jenny we knew she was the photographer we wanted to go with. Jenny is very personable, kind and has a really warm energy (yes, even through the phone.) Jenny asked us questions about our vision, what type of photography style we were looking for, and walked us through her process. A few weeks before the wedding, she reached out to finalize details, even ensuring she had the family names and relationships right. This was very sweet for us given the blended nature of our family. Jenny arrived on site early (dressed very nicely!) and got to work right away. Her second photographer went straight to my husband’s getting ready area and he shared that she was also really nice to work with. I should also note that Jenny had a really great rapport with our videographer (shared by her recommendation) and they were able to keep all our photo and video moments running smoothly. I really appreciated Jenny’s presence all day long, and absolutely LOVED our sneak preview photos. I cannot wait to see the full album. If you are looking for someone to capture plenty of emotion (all of the emotions!) and provide you with vibrant pictures, and great energy all day long, look no further!

My husband and I planned our wedding in just two months, deciding we wanted to have a small family-only ceremony in October 2020. From our first phone call with Jenny at the end of August, I got a great, positive impression. Jenny's microwedding package was the perfect fit for what we were planning. Throughout the whole process, Jenny was so organized and professional. In particular, I really appreciated the thorough questionnaire that she sent us a few weeks before the wedding to square away details about what we were envisioning--and I especially appreciated the covid-safety section of her questionnaire, in which I was able to provide Jenny with particular measures we wanted her to take to keep our event safe. On the day of our wedding, Jenny was such a positive presence, and she maintained a safe distance from all our guests. And she noticed lots of great details that I hadn't even thought to ask her to photograph--like the handmade purse my mom had made for me, the buttons on the back of my dress, and my shoes. Jenny was a great choice for our small wedding! -

UPDATE: Jenny photographed our wedding on 11/5/21 and we are even more blown away by her work. It’s truly amazing and it captured all of the emotions and love throughout the whole day. We hired Jenny to shoot our wedding in November 2020, but unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone to 2021. Jenny was extremely understanding and flexible and I’m so glad we were able to secure her for our new date. We recently had our engagement session (which was also postponed due to Covid) and Jenny managed to capture everything perfectly. She truly brought the joy back to wedding planning during this difficult time and we CANNOT wait to work with her on our wedding day!!! -

The Perfect PIC :)
When we postponed our wedding due to COVID-19 and decided to do a small, intimate backyard wedding to honor our original date, we asked Jenny (really on a whim), if she would be able to take a few pictures for us. It was the best decision we could have ever made. Jenny was flexible and willing to do whatever we felt most comfortable with given the crazy circumstances we were dealing with. She took a small location and made it feel larger than life, achieving different vantage points and levels to integrate different aspects of our environment into our photographs. She used a telephoto lens to capture details without compromising our safety or comfort. And we fell in love with her kind and sweet personality. It felt more like she was an intended guest than our photographer. Overall, she exceeded our expectations in every single category. We are even more excited than before to have her shoot our postponed ceremony in 2021. We would recommend Jenny 10 times over for any event, but especially any sort of alternative celebration you may be planning due to the pandemic this year. -

We loved working with Jenny for our wedding and could not be happier that we chose her to document our day. From the beginning, she was very responsive and professional in her approach, and gave us great suggestions on how to shape the timeline for the day - including where the best spots would be for first look and portraits. She scoped out the venue and waterfront locations before our wedding so we were able to get some incredible shots in the old train station in Liberty State Park with the NYC skyline in the background (and she was very flexible and adapted quickly when we ended up with rainy weather! even lending us a cute, clear umbrella to use in pictures) Jenny's style is natural and she really has an eye for capturing the best lighting for portraits, unique angles for personal and emotional moments, the details of accessories and decorations, and the fun of the dance party!! 100% recommend Jenny as your wedding photographer! -

Jenny was the utmost professional and put me very at ease. She was good at reading moments and getting natural, candid photos, besides the typical posed ones. She is very positive and relaxed when setting up portraits and listens to what you want, while adding helpful feedback. I loved our group shots! The sincerity of her images really shows and she has an artistic eye. She is also able to blend in with the background and not overly intrude into the ceremony. Would highly recommend. -

Can't recommend Jenny enough. While I'm not used to posing at length in front of a camera, her energy, attitude and direction made everything seem completely natural.
