Wedding Photography

The Perfect PIC :)
When we postponed our wedding due to COVID-19 and decided to do a small, intimate backyard wedding to honor our original date, we asked Jenny (really on a whim), if she would be able to take a few pictures for us. It was the best decision we could have ever made. Jenny was flexible and willing to do whatever we felt most comfortable with given the crazy circumstances we were dealing with. She took a small location and made it feel larger than life, achieving different vantage points and levels to integrate different aspects of our environment into our photographs. She used a telephoto lens to capture details without compromising our safety or comfort. And we fell in love with her kind and sweet personality. It felt more like she was an intended guest than our photographer. Overall, she exceeded our expectations in every single category. We are even more excited than before to have her shoot our postponed ceremony in 2021. We would recommend Jenny 10 times over for any event, but especially any sort of alternative celebration you may be planning due to the pandemic this year. -

UPDATE: Jenny photographed our wedding on 11/5/21 and we are even more blown away by her work. It’s truly amazing and it captured all of the emotions and love throughout the whole day. I recommend Jenny to all newly engaged couples. We now have amazing pictures to look back on for many years to come!
We hired Jenny to shoot our wedding in November 2020, but unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone to 2021. Jenny was extremely understanding and flexible and I’m so glad we were able to secure her for our new date. We recently had our engagement session (which was also postponed due to Covid) and Jenny managed to capture everything perfectly. She truly brought the joy back to wedding planning during this difficult time and we CANNOT wait to work with her on our wedding day!!! -

We loved working with Jenny! From our first conversation with Jenny we knew she was the photographer we wanted to go with. Jenny is very personable, kind and has a really warm energy (yes, even through the phone.) Jenny asked us questions about our vision, what type of photography style we were looking for, and walked us through her process. A few weeks before the wedding, she reached out to finalize details, even ensuring she had the family names and relationships right. This was very sweet for us given the blended nature of our family. Jenny arrived on site early (dressed very nicely!) and got to work right away. Her second photographer went straight to my husband’s getting ready area and he shared that she was also really nice to work with. I should also note that Jenny had a really great rapport with our videographer (shared by her recommendation) and they were able to keep all our photo and video moments running smoothly. I really appreciated Jenny’s presence all day long, and absolutely LOVED our sneak preview photos. I cannot wait to see the full album. If you are looking for someone to capture plenty of emotion (all of the emotions!) and provide you with vibrant pictures, and great energy all day long, look no further!

Best photographer for the best day
Jenny was amazing. She was fun to have around and she produced AMAZING pictures for my husband and me. She got all the shots I wanted, had a clear plan and strategy but was also super flexible when I decided last minute that I wanted a shot. She captured the true spirit of the Best Day of my Life. -

When you live in the NY area, it feels sooo overwhelming with who to choose for a photographer. For anyone feeling this, I highly recommend going with Jenny Flora Photography. She was a dream to work with. She did our engagement photo session, as well as our intimate wedding ceremony in April 2024.
She was extremely thorough, and she captured so many amazing and beautiful pictures. Moreover, she was always on time and kind. Ahead of the big day, she also sent us a questionnaire & we had a phone call as well. I was really impressed that she took the time to ask who would be attending, and she made a list of attendee’s names & asked exactly who we wanted to have photos with. At the ceremony, she even knew their names & quickly coordinated all the photos we wanted with family and friends.
The photos speak for themselves. I am going to include several in my review. Jenny is an extremely talented and gifted photographer, and she clearly knows what she is doing. Also, her prices are beyond reasonable. You won’t find the quality of work she does at that price anywhere else in the area.

3x The Love for Jenny!
Hiring Jenny was the best decision we made in our [unexpectedly complicated] wedding planning journey. She photographed us at our official wedding back in 2020 when we had an intimate 7-person COVID ceremony. She took our “engagement photos” after we’d already been married for 11 months. And then she capped it all off by capturing our one year vow renewal complete with all your traditional wedding reception moments. Each time she absolutely nailed it. She has such an artistic eye, capturing beauty and intimate moments you don’t even realize are there. She frames every photo perfectly, managing to get perfectly landscaped shots without any bystanders, even in a crowded space like Union Square Park! And she made us feel warm with love and optimism despite our wedding day being an unseasonable 35 degrees in a torrential downpour in May! She felt more like a friend celebrating alongside us for each event. And we are already talking about when we can have Jenny take pictures for us again, not only because she does such an amazing job but because we genuinely already miss her as a person! We can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Jenny for everything! -

What a wonderful experience it was while working with Jenny as we planned our wedding in 2020- 2021. We found Jenny through one of my husband's coworkers. I loved the way she took photos and her creativity really showed through her work. Jenny took the time to meet with us and give us lots of pointers on what looked good in our pictures. I could tell that she loved what she does, rather than someone who is just doing a "job". We planned our wedding during the pandemic so it was a challenging time. Our wedding/engagement pictures came back in a timely fashion and everyone who has seen them commented on how beautiful her work was. I loved the way Jenny's pictures were bright and the different poses that she used. Jenny was very easy to work with and talk to. I would definitely recommend Jenny to another couple planning their wedding. -

Hi Brides and Grooms!!!
Can't recommend Jenny enough. While I'm not used to posing at length in front of a camera, her energy, attitude and direction made everything seem completely natural. Her creativity and ability to quickly find great locations for posed shots, added to the ease and enjoyment. She has such an eye for candid's; I was overcome by how many beautiful, subtle moments she noticed and captured throughout the day. It's clear she's an experienced and professional photographer. She exceeded my expectations!
