My Husband and I searched everywhere for musicians for our wedding!! Some didn't reply, and others replied very late. Jennifer was timely with her responses, offered many options, and answered all of my questions! Jennifer and her colleague played beautifully, making our ceremony so special! At the end of the night, my guests came up to me and said they enjoyed the atmosphere, music, and all! Thank you so much, Jennifer! Devin and I appreciate you coming out and celebrating with us...you were a joy to have! God bless you continually! You made our ceremony come to life, and our reception relaxing! It was everything we wanted and more!

You need a violinist at your wedding
Ok, having Jennifer at our wedding was amazing. She is extremely talented and professional and was the perfect addition to our wedding day. We had her play pre-ceremony, during the ceremony and for cocktail hour and it was a dream. She knows her stuff. She has a great list of songs that she already knows and was also willing to learn new songs for our wedding (one of which we walked down the aisle to). It really added to the vibes of our wedding with the contemporary songs on violin (think Bridgerton vibes). Ahh it was a romantic dream and Jennifer was the perfect choice to execute it! 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect Accompaniment to My Special Day
Jennifer was a fantastic addition to my wedding day! She played as part of a quartet that played prelude music, most of my ceremony music, and recessional music. Jennifer is phenomenal. She played during the aisle walk solo and as a cello duo during our reception dinner. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and fun to work with during our setlist planning. Seamless communication and beautiful custom music
Jennifer was wonderful to work with! She was highly responsive to communication along the way, and even made a custom arrangement for a pop song to walk down the aisle to (and helped keep it a secret from my husband). We were able to pick a wide variety of pop songs to play for our ceremony (including a Rick Roll for my husband's entrance, which got a lot of laughs) and received many compliments throughout the evening on the music. Highly recommend working with Jennifer to make your ceremony a resounding success!

Jennifer was very helpful and attentive when it came to us planning our music part for our micro ceremony. The music of our dreams
We cannot express in words just how beautiful Jennifer's violin music for the ceremony was. It was more beautiful than we could have dreamed! Every single piece was so perfect and the guests could not stop talking about the music. There wasn't a dry eye in the audience when the bride walked down the aisle to a custom arrangement of a non traditional piece. Jennifer was very helpful bringing in an additional cellist and the two of them worked magic together. We will be hearing Jennifer's music in our dreams for a long time to come. 100% Worth It-- Amazing!
I hired Jennifer and a cellist (my former strings teacher!) play at my wedding during the ceremony and happy hour and they were incredible. I had so many people tell me how great they were and how it elevated the entire event. Jennifer was very easy to work with, had great recommendations, and professional. The live music was just beautiful and so worth the money!

Great addition to the wedding!
We had a small family wedding, so we thought having someone play live music was going to be too expensive or overwhelming for a small event. We reached out to see, and I am so glad we did! Having live strings was a beautiful addition to the ceremony. Jennifer was excellent -- not only was she reasonably priced, but she also told us she could bring a cellist, too. Their music really added to our ceremony, and the songs we wanted were already in her repertoire. She was responsive, easy to work with, and I didn't have to worry about a thing with the music on the day of the ceremony. I would use her again for any event.

A "Million" Dreams Wedding come true!
Jennifer was absolutely fabulous to work with. When I needed to re-schedule my May wedding to September due to COVID, she was very flexible working with me on my new date.
Jennifer sent along some music selections to get me going and we emailed regularly about some choices I was hoping she could play that were not on the list. She was so open to some new songs and offered some great suggestions when my fiance got stuck on the recessional. Overall we loved our music! We started with some Disney love songs, some selections from her list for the mothers, groomsmen, and bridesmaids, and my father and I walked down to Million Dreams- the whole ceremony was a dream come true! The Beatles choices Jennifer suggested tied right in to the readings we had selected (complete coincidence that worked out perfectly!) Jennifer and Maureen were amazing~ couldn't ask for anything more!

Best all around violinist!
My husband and I hired Jennifer for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and we are SO HAPPY we did! Fantastic musicians!
Jennifer was absolutely delightful to work with. We hired her to play violin along with a cello and they sounded perfect! She was very quick to respond to our questions and very flexible in the songs she would play. We had a few songs that were not listed in her large repertoire but she was able to play them for no additional charge.

Our ceremony music was perfect! Jennifer was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with throughout the planning process. Beautiful music and great professionalism

Just the right touch
Jennifer plays beautifully. She was just the right touch to my small, intimate, garden wedding. She was flexible and available on short notice. She sent me an extensive list of music to choose from and said that she could play almost anything I wanted. I selected a song that wasn't on her list and she played it beautifully. I highly recommend her. .

Before I entered the church I heard the quartet.

Jennifer was very responsive leading up to the wedding day and that was much appreciated. The moment I heard her playing as i started walking down the aisle, I lost it. Amazing Surprise!
I hired Jennifer (and her cellist friend) as a surprise for my husband to play our first song. Not only did she do a great job of hiding the surprise from him, she played an incredible rendition of All of You by John Legend and Moondance by Van Morrison (our anniversary dance song). It was such a fun surprise that I decided on a little last minute and Jennifer was more than accommodating. She was inexpensive and definitely worth every penny.

Wonderful!
Jennifer played for our wedding ceremony this past weekend. It was an outdoor wedding and was pretty chilly outside but everything went smoothly with Jennifer. The ceremony music was perfect. Our guests loved it. Jennifer was professional, friendly and helpful from the moment we first started emailing back and forth. My now husband and I had a bunch of questions regarding the details of the music during the ceremony and Jennifer so graciously answered all of them and always in such a timely manner. Highly recommend!!

I loved working with Jennifer Johnson! She is very friendly, flexible and responsive! I live in Germany and got married in the US, I was communicating with Jennifer through e-mails, she took into consideration that I was abroad, not having much time and she made it very easy for us to organize that part of the wedding. She welcomed my ideas, was very helpful and flexible, she always responded to my e-mails quickly, that was important to me! She was perfect during the ceremony, she played a beautiful music! My only regret is that we didn't get the chance to talk to her because we were so busy with our guests and with the photo session! I would highly recommend Jennifer Johnson!

Jennifer was fantastic to work with for our son and his fiancé’s wedding. From the moment we contacted her to determine her availability, she was extremely responsive and flexible and was a perfect resource for selection of music. In addition to having a violinist for the ceremony, we elected to have a cellist as well and Jennifer was gracious enough to secure our cellist for the big day. Both of our musicians arrived in plenty of time to scout their location in relationship to the outdoor ceremony. And as for the music...it was so very beautiful! What a wonderful addition to the ceremony. We could not have been more pleased with Jennifer’s services!

Working with Jennifer was probably the best decision that I made leading up to our wedding. I had a pretty non-standard request involving some more pop/rock-oriented pieces and a more extensive ensemble, and she was attentive and helpful in making the vision a reality. She is a talented musician who played moving renditions of everything from The Velvet Underground to The Beatles to Bruce Springsteen, but she was also approachable, communicative, and from our very first contact made me feel like we were partners with a shared goal that was equally important to both of us. I would recommend Jennifer to anybody without hesitation, as it would be hard to match her talent and professionalism.

The groom arranged all of the music for this ceremony. He had a vision with music requests that had special meaning to him, the bride, and the family. I helped bring the music to life. We performed some pieces with a violin duo. Others were arrangements for violins and guitar (with the groom's father playing guitar). The last set of pieces were for a "band" which consisted of violins, guitar, and members of the wedding party playing percussion instruments. We even had a "groupie" (a random person walking through the garden) who wanted his picture taken with everyone. This will definitely be one of the most memorable weddings I've ever played because it was so unique! It was a pleasure working with you and performing for your wedding ceremony.

Jennifer put together and led an outstanding string quartet for my wedding ceremony at the Valentine in Richmond, VA. Jennifer was very communicative leading up to the wedding and she made the music selection process so easy and pleasant. Our guests enjoyed classical selections while waiting for the ceremony to begin and were treated to skillfully executed arrangements of traditional processional and recessional music. Jennifer and her colleagues played beautifully and made our ceremony truly special. Our wedding coordinator commented that it was the best wedding quartet she had ever heard!
