Pleasure to work with and beautiful photos!

Jenn was absolutely amazing to work with and provided such a calming, positive presence for our wedding. We had a great engagement photo session with her about a month prior to the wedding at which point I knew we would get along and love her style and direction. On the wedding day, she made sure to capture all the photos we knew we wanted (family, on the beach, etc.) as well as a ton of candid photos with our friends and family throughout the night. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and also encourage us to have fun and enjoy the process. I could not recommend Jenn enough for any of your photography needs!

The Most AMAZING photographer!!

Before I was even engaged, I knew Jenn would be my wedding photographer! She has done many of my friends family pictures, engagements, baby pictures, and weddings and I knew she was the only person I could trust fully with every important picture of our big day. Being one of my longest best friends, she knew my family, my friends, and everything that was important to me to capture and she did it flawlessly. Our wedding was in September in Michigan and the weather was rainy and 95 degrees! We were all hot and sticky but you would never know from our pictures. Every detail, every family photo, every emotional and happy moment was captured and turned out beautiful. She is the kindest person you will ever meet with the biggest love for her work, and her clients. Her professionalism is on another level and she won’t stop shooting until she gets THE shot she wants! I am beyond grateful that she was there to capture our big day and I can’t wait for her to do every photo session we do from now on. Hire this amazing woman! I promise you you’ll never want anyone else to capture your life moments!!

Highly Recommend!

When I got engaged in December of 2018 all I knew for sure about my wedding is that I wanted this chick to be my photographer! She had photographed my best friends wedding years ago and from her experience with her I knew I would one day use her on my big day! Jenn was the 1st vendor I contacted when starting to plan my wedding. From that moment she made everything so easy. From having to change my wedding date to calming my nerves before our engagement pictures to capturing every amazing moment of our wedding day, she was absolutely perfect! I have only seen our sneak peeks from our wedding day but from what I've seen so far and by knowing how amazing her works is, I know I will not be disappointed! I highly recommend using Jenn for any photography needs and I can't wait to use her in the future for our family and (one day) newborn pictures!

Jenn is amazing!

I am so excited to write this review because I am signing Jenn's praises for doing such an amazing job for our wedding on August 24. She is so good at what she does! From the beginning, she was so great to communicate with. She does a great job at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she takes many pictures so she can get the perfect shot. She isn't afraid to give direction, and we all much appreciated that. I had so many people come up to me at the wedding complimenting what a great job she was doing. She does an engagement shoot with the wedding packages, and that is so helpful and really breaks the ice (not only with her, but also for the couple to get used to shooting together!). She gave us a preview very quickly and we can wait to see the final set. We have found our lifetime photographer!

Perfection is ALL I can say!

From the moment I emailed Jenn for a quote, I knew she was the one. She was quick to respond, SUPER friendly and so fun! In fact, I booked Jenn prior to my engagement. I didn't want to miss out on the best - just saying! She has been fabulous all the way through. Jenn did our included engagement session, which was a wonderful way to get to know her prior to our big day. By the time our wedding came, she was a friend and not just a vendor! We felt completely relaxed and trusted everything she did. Even while getting ready, she was there to support me with everything I needed - not just photography! Jenn is amazing!

Jenn is absolutely amazing!! She is everything we could have ever imagined that our wedding photographer would be and more!! She cared so much about making sure that our wedding photos were perfect and everything that we imagined. Jenn asked for every detail prior to our big day so that she could fully prepare to capture every moment, which she did! It even rained on our wedding day, literally almost the entire day and night, and it had no impact on our photos! Jenn got every shot that we asked for, and more. Our photos came out so beautiful!

We ordered a photo album to remember each and every moment of our wedding day, and Jenn creating the most beautiful wedding album for us, everything we dreamed of in every way. She put so much time and thought into making sure that it was perfect, and asked us so many questions about what we wanted, pictures, style, etc. to ensure that it was exactly what we wanted.

We honestly couldn't imagine having any other photographer on our wedding day. Jenn was literally a God send. Professional, punctual, flexible, SO CREATIVE, just amazing!

Jenn is amazing!!

My husband Jon and I recently got married on 1/25/19 and we had Jenn as our photographer. She is absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend her. From the beginning, she was always so nice and easy to talk to! We did our engagement shoot with her and she made us feel so comfortable right from the beginning. Our wedding photos , even just the sneak peaks we’ve gotten , are so beyond incredible. I cried all over again seeing them! She’s captured amazing photos and she’s truly talented. I just love her and definitely would consider her a friend! It’s a blessing if you book her for your wedding (or really any photo shoot!).

When I was selecting vendors for our wedding, I knew I was going to be incredibly picky about a photographer! I contacted a ton, narrowed it down to 2, and after meeting Jenn, I knew she was exactly the person we wanted to capture our day! From our engagement shoot to the day of the wedding, she was phenomenal! After the area that we originally wanted for our E-pics was damaged by Hurricane Matthew, she helped us pick a gorgeous place!
And she was wonderful with talking us through poses, etc. My Husband is not a huge fan of taking pictures, and I'm just awkward sometimes (haha), but she handled our lack of posing experience with ease. She made us laugh the whole time and really enjoy the process versus the possible pain of 1000+ photos! Haha.
On the day of the wedding, she was the absolute best! I had a couple of shots that I really wanted and she made them all happen! And even stole us right before dinner (right as my sweetheart was about to pick up his plate at the buffet. haha) and said "I've got to get pictures of this awesome sunset, and we have about 12 minutes to do it". haha. I LOVE the fact that she saw a gorgeous photo op, and went for it!!
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that she posts a little "sneak peak" of a few wedding pics on her FB page. We were on day 2 of our honeymoon and got to see those pictures and they were literally breathtaking!! I cannot wait to see the rest!
You will not regret hiring Jenn! She is truly amazing at what she does and has the kind of energy and personality you want! (not only to keep you comfortable during the day, but to help turn hours of smiling for the camera into a fun experience.)

Jenn photographed our wedding in May and she was amazing! We first shot our engagement photos with her and it was a blast. She made us feel comfortable and at ease, and the photos turned out great. On our wedding day, Jenn was amazing! She was so helpful with poses and made everyone feel comfortable and natural. I am so happy with how our photos turned out.... everyone said they looked like something out of a magazine. So, so, SO happy we chose Jenn to photograph the most important day of our lives! She is a blast to work with and always responds ASAP to any questions you may have. We live out of town and Jenn was so helpful with making sure everything was set to go for our wedding. Jenn photographed my sister's wedding last year and did such an incredible job that when I got engaged I knew I had to hire her! Not only is Jenn an absolutely amazing photographer, but extremely bubbly and friendly and instantly makes everyone feel comfortable. My husband and I were both a little nervous about being photographed, but Jenn put us as ease and told us exactly what to do in order to make our pictures perfect! I thought that our pictures couldn't get better after I saw our amazing engagement photos.... Until we got our sneak peak on our wedding photos. I can't even believe how perfect they turned out! Jenn captured our wedding day perfectly. 5 stars is not anywhere close to enough to describe how great Jenn is. I highly recommend Jenn to everyone for weddings, events and family pictures. Jenn is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! I could have not been more thankful for her and what she does, it is literally MAGICAL. Don't expect it to just be a vendor and client relationship, it will be a friend to friend almost family kind of relationship. My husband and I never took professional pictures together and we were pretty nervous about it being obvious in our pictures and being awkward with Jenn. Boy were we wrong! First thing she does meeting with is that she will hug you and that means more then you would think. The entire engagement session she will keep you smiling and laughing while learning about you as a couple and capturing the special moments. She has such a bubbly and energetic personality but yet is very professional and takes the most pride in her work. She is one of the most flexible human beings EVER!! She totally understands that certain things in life will happen last minute and all that she asks is that you give her a heads up as soon as possible. Now let's talk about the pictures........they are INCREDICBLE! She will send you literally over a thousand of your pictures and they will be so good that you will want to order EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! If you can, do the wedding package that includes the photo album because it is the best! If not, try to budget for it when you can. You get to personalize it on the cover and choose the color of the cover and look at it before it is printed to see if you want to make any changes. This book is so BEAUTIFUL and DURABLE that it will last you a lifetime (if you take care of it of course.) If you are second guessing whether or not to hire Jenn for your photographer just stop second guessing it and take my word for it and just do it. You WILL NOT regret it. Not only will you get the best wedding photographer, but you will also gain a very sweet friend.

Jenn Guthrie was absolutely AMAZING! We forgot we were even taking pictures as we laughed so much during our engagement shoot and wedding photos!

She has an amazing eye that captured our day perfectly! I can't stop looking at my pictures from her seriously the BEST ever! Jenn would snag us when the light had fallen just right for some evening pictures that were just breath taking, something you would only see in a movie or magazine. Truly blessed to have her as our photographer!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenn's artistic talent is beyond words. Not only did she capture photos from our wedding that I never thought were possible (you should have seen the real life behind the scenes of some of these shots!!), but she made sure we had fun in the process. It was never daunting to go take more photos and therefore not be a part of cocktail hour, or have to step away from dancing, because we had just as much fun with her as we did with our wedding guests. She truly is personable and I cannot get over her artistic talent. When we start our family, I will ABSOLUTELY use her again for all our family photographs.

I have been doing all of my vendor reviews for a few hours now and I have been pushing Jenn down and down because there’s just so much to say about her. So I guess what they say is true – save the best for last. Jenn did my engagement photos so perfectly that I knew she would do my wedding even more perfectly and I was so right. Jenn is so nice, sweet, funny and more. She is the perfect photographer and she’s so obsessed with the right lighting that it’s almost sickening how perfect the photographs turn out. Every single person in my bridal party said something about how great she was. I hate posing for pictures but she makes it happen so fast and gets it done just right. It was so nice not having to spend hours and hours doing photos, she would get the shot almost right away. There were moments in the night she would steal me away and be like look at this lighting, do you mind? She was very courteous about it, but dang those were the best photos of the night. She also did double duty as wedding planner, I swear. I was getting sick of people coming back where they shouldn’t be so she asked them to leave which was amazing. I can’t wait to see all the photos. She was such a delight to work with and everyone said it. If you are thinking about hiring her, do it right NOW. She’s the best. If I could give 23534623652 stars I would. Also, I got 6 sneak peeks the NIGHT AFTER my wedding. I just can’t with her, she’s the most awesomest of all awesomes.

When we booked Jenn, we knew we were going to get a photographer with a lot of energy and passion for what she does. Leading up to the wedding she answered questions promptly, gave ideas openly, made recommendations for other vendors, and was flexible with our scheduling needs. Since we live outside Florida, all of her help was priceless!

On our wedding day, she stayed with us the whole day and night and to this day our guests still comment on how impressed they were that our photographer stayed all the way until we left the venue. Her attention to detail is flawless and it results in photos that truly capture each and every moment of your day. Even things I didn't see the day of our wedding showed up in pictures allowing us to really relive our day as our guests were able to. She is fun and willing to try and do any shot you ask for, no matter how goofy!

Jenn is thorough, talented, trustworthy, patient, and a lot of fun to work with. She is professional and discrete throughout your event but captures everything you ask for, and even more! You cannot go wrong with Jenn as your photographer!

It’s hard to even know where to begin to describe how incredibly amazing Jenn Guthrie is! It felt like I was looking forever for the right photographer until one day a co-worker of mine mentioned Jenn's name to me. From the moment I met Jenn for our initial meeting ( I am pretty sure within minutes), I knew she was the right photographer for us. I think I even told her at the end of our meeting that she was my new best friend! She was professional, personable, fun, and knew exactly where I was going with our vision. Jenn took the time to know US as a couple and our style which is something I felt other photographers lacked. Every time we saw Jenn I felt like we got to know her more and more. Jenn has an talent of finding the beauty in any situation, an eye that only a true photographer and artist can see. During our engagement photos, we got maybe 10 minutes of sun until a rain storm hit us. After our session, I was so worried that we were going to have to re-do them. But when we got our photos back, somehow Jenn was able to pull off some of the greatest photos I have ever seen of me and my now husband. On our wedding day, Jenn was calm and in control and loved how organized she kept our large wedding party and families. Like our engagement photos, when we got our photos back, we were blown away by what she was able to capture and how beautiful the photos were. She captured moments I would of never thought of and out of the 1000+ photos we got back, I don't think one of them was bad. Jenn like I mentioned early is an incredible artist and person. We loved working her with her so much and I cant wait to have her continue to capture our life's beautiful moments. Every chance I get I brag about Jenn, I trust her whole heartily with our special moments and couldn't ask for a better (hopefully) life long photographer to join us on our journey!

We were having a destination wedding and did not know who we were going to pick as a photographer. We were getting nervous because this sort of thing I usually like to use word of mouth and we didn't have that since we don't live in the area. We contacted a few local photographers we found on the web to get an idea of cost and availability and right from the start we knew Jenn was going to be the one! She made us feel comfortable right from the very first email. She worked with us to come up with a plan that was right for us. She contacted us many times over the weeks before the wedding and even helped with suggestions for other vendors. On the day of the wedding she showed up and even helped putting flowers on the groomsmen. We cannot thank her enough. The photos were the most amazing and that was because she cares about what she is doing and enjoys doing it. My wife and I are planning on starting a family and we are thinking of ways to get back down to see Jenn for baby pictures when the time comes. Jenn is an absolute sweetheart who captured our engagement and wedding photos! With such a small wedding, we only needed a few hours of photography coverage. Jenn was very accommodating (time&cost) and still went out of her way to give us individualized attention! Her whimsical and soft-light style added such romantic undertones to our photos. Not only is Jenn especially talented with what she does, but her bubbly personality can make even the most stressed out bride smile. Love at first meeting! My now husband and I knew when we started planning our wedding that one of the most important parts was going to be our photographer. We researched like crazy and made a few appointments but I didn't expect that the first photographer we met was going to be our perfect match! We both fell in love with Jenn the moment we met her with her awesome personality and ability to make people feel so comfortable. Even in the most awkwardest of moments, she was able to capture the most AMAZING pictures both at our engagement session and on our wedding day. Where to begin Jenn was truly amazing! When you first meet her you can tell she loves what she does and her work clearly shows it. She makes you feel so comfortable and reinforces the fact that she is there to capture your moments. When we met I told her I didnt like taking pictures her response was oh I'll change that! She absolutely did...with our engagement pictures she made my now husband and I feel so comfortable combine that with her talents and patience its a guarantee your pictures will be beautiful. On our big day she was more than just a photographer, she provided help when needed without anyone asking. She strived to do what would make us happy. To hire Jenn as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made!!

I loved having Jenn as our photographer! From the moment I met her she was very easy to get along with and immediately felt like a friend. Jenn was fantastic to work with and I would recommend her to any bride or anyone looking for family or event photos. She was so great at taking the time to really get to know us and our wedding dreams so she could make sure she captured every moment. Jenn always had great ideas and inspiration for posing and was so personable that it felt like a close friend was capturing our day. I had dreaded not knowing how to stand or how we were ever going to get all those family photos in the day of, but she was on point and coordinated all of the photos beautifully. On a day where you get so caught up in the moment, she made sure that all of the must have photos were taken. I was so happy with all of the photos from our engagement session and the wedding. She is a delight and a wonderful person to work with, not to mention one of the hardest working and friendliest people I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I'll be calling her the next time I ever need photos!!

Jenn is simply the best. From working around our crazy schedules and crazy weather to get engagement pictures done to being extremely timely in all email responses and phone calls she didn't miss a beat. We could not be any happier that we chose her to do our wedding photography, she was quick and so easy to get along with and of course our pictures are stunning! we have gotten SOOO many complements! we will be recommending her to everyone we know!

We had both our engagement and wedding photos done by Jenn Guthrie. Both were AMAZING. Jenn is awesome; she is personable, professional, and wonderful at what she does. She worked with us so well -- we're not the best at doing posed pictures, but she was able to get us out of our heads and have fun with it. On the wedding day, we even had an unexpected problem -- one that didn't bode well for wedding pictures :I --but Jenn and her fiance Brent were able to not only roll with it, but come back with photos WAAAY better than I had expected due to the circumstances. I love them all! Our communication was great throughout. She made everything easy. Everything about Jenn Guthrie Photography made me super happy that we went with her. Go to her site, and just look at her incredible portfolio; that's Jenn's skill. Add that to an absolutely amazing personality, and that's who you have! I would recommend her to any and everyone; we plan to use her for any other photos for, like, forever! :)

Jenn and her fiancé Brent were absolutely perfect. Your photographer is such an important part of your wedding day; they are with you throughout the entire experience (more so than any other vendor) and their personality and style can have a huge impact on the day. Jenn and Brent managed themselves perfectly; they were just the right amount of involved. They participated yet were unassuming. Our friends and family loved them, and we in fact are still getting compliments about how great they were. It was like having a couple of great friends there to help us capture the day. They are some of the friendliest people I have ever come across, and they seemed so genuinely happy to be a part of our wedding.
In addition to how great they are to be around, they also take some pretty amazing pictures. A better alternative to reading about this is to check it out for yourself! Her website, Facebook page, and sites like this one have plenty examples of the quality of her work. When we received our pictures, my wife and I were absolutely blown away. Not only was every single moment captured, but they were all captured beautifully.
Jenn made three suggestions that we would not have thought of on our own: a “first look,” taking some pictures on the beach away from the crowd at sunset, and a “last dance” by ourselves at the very end of the reception. Looking back, I can’t thank her enough for these ideas. They were some of the most memorable parts of the night, and the pictures turned out beautifully.
Take it from me, some random guy on the internet: you will not find a better photographer than Jenn Guthrie.

Jenn and Brent were one of the highlights of my fairytale day! From the second I contacted Jenn through the day of the wedding, she was nothing but completely professional and an immense joy to work with. Her bubbly spirit and kind heart show in all of her work. Although my husband and I were initially reluctant to have engagement photos because of a concern about our awkwardness, the engagement session was actually one of our favorite parts of the process! Jenn immediately made us feel at ease and TOTALLY embraced the parts of us that make us unique. In the leadup to the wedding, she was completely available to discuss any of my concerns, and on the day of the wedding she was such a strong calming influence! I knew with Jenn by my side, nothing could go wrong! Although she was practically invisible with her ninja-like photography skills, she was always there exactly when I needed her with my lipstick or to fix my dress. I cannot recommend her more highly! She is an absolute doll and by the end of the day, I also consider her a friend :)

Jenn is absolutely AMAZING! She and her fiancee Brent both did an incredible job with our engagement session, so I simply cannot wait to see what magic they can do on the day of the wedding!! Friendly, supportive, and a true pro, Jenn will make you feel and look gorgeous in your photos. Her packages are a bit pricy, but if you want the highest quality, look no further. I will never never ever hire another photographer for ANYTHING unless jenn decides to retire. She is hands down the best photographer I have ever hired, or ever had the pleasure of working with. And I've been in a lot of weddings and have had to deal with many photographers! I can't say enough good about her! Her quality of work, her efficiency, her skills, everything! She gave me everything I could have wanted plus a ton more. And not only that- she doesn't just show up at your wedding like a hired hand. She makes you feel like she's your friend and she's part of the wedding party! My husband is not the type to enjoy getting his picture taken. He doesn't really like to cooperate too much and usually any picture taken of him is a dud. But she just has a way with people that gets them rolling, smiling, so cooperative and really just knows how to do her thing. All of my wedding pictures turned out amazing, better than I wished for. And I didn't wait long at all for her to edit and get them back to me either! Jenn will not disappoint. Worth every.stinkin.penny!!!!

You cannot go wrong with JGP! She is an absolutely amazing photographer, and will not disappoint! I am in love with all of the results she gave, and she is definitely our new family photographer for all occasions! I wish it was possible to give 10 stars!!! My husband and I could not have picked a better photographer!! We are beyond satisfied with the way our pictures have turned out and also with Jenn's professionalism. Obviously we are not models so going into this we felt so awkward but Jenn made us feel so comfortable. Some of my best friends told me they made the wrong decision when picking their photographer for their wedding day and to make sure you invest well in someone to take all your memories for that day and Jenn is 100% someone that you can rely on as a professional and as a friend!! She also worked well with her second photographer Brent (who is awesome as well), they really clicked well together and knew exactly what moments to capture! And they're also fun to hang out with during the process! Not only can she take great pictures but she also REALLY LOVES taking pictures. I noticed many times during our engagement session and our wedding that Jenn would get so excited about the way the picture turned out, you could truly see the joy she got out of making something not only beautiful but also memorable for her clients. We will definitely be using her in the future for other special occasions!! Thanks girl for all the amazing pictures to look back on!! Love you Jenn!!!

Jenn was so much more than a photographer for us!!! From my very first phone call, I knew that she was the right choice. It was evident that she didn't just want to take our pictures, she wanted to capture our wedding as if it was her own friends wedding. Jenn insisted we all meet for coffee and get to know each other before our engagement session. It was evident how important it was to her for us to be comfortable in front of her. She wanted to know our whole story, and she was able to joke and laugh, and let us get to know her a little better too. By the time our session came up, we had a blast! We made a last minute change of location to a place Jenn had been dying to shoot at and I am SO glad we did, I trusted her to try something new and make it amazing. After that, it was several months til our wedding, and she periodically checked in to see how things were going and ideas I had. I never felt like she was so busy with other clients. She listened to some cringe-worthy concerns I had for the day of and by the time our day arrived I didn't have to even think about the minor details. She was on time, READY and having so much fun with everyone. We were up against some horrendous weather but she took the most amazing shots. She even took the time to teach us how to cut our wedding cake in the middle of our reception when we realized we'd never even thought about how to gracefully do such a thing! I can't say enough about her.. I loved that we didn't have traditional boring wedding pictures, they are all so perfect. For the relationship you get, the amazing quality of pictures, and peace of mind.. You can't find a better photographer. I can't wait for the day I can call her for maternity pictures, family pictures, anything I can justify a professional for! She's our girl :) Thank you so much for everything Jenn.. we were so lucky to have found you!!!

I planned my wedding in 4 months and the MOST IMPORTANT thing to me about my special day was having photographs that would last a lifetime. After looking online through some local photographers albums and reaching out to them via e-mail to see if they were available I was able to find a few that still had an opening on my date. However, I only made an appointment to meet 1 photographer, Jenn Guthrie. After my Husband and I met with Jenn we walked out knowing right then that we were going to choose her. We felt very comfortable with her and we absolutely loved her work.

Everything about my wedding fell together and just worked out with no stress. Even on the day of my wedding I did my own hair and makeup and wasn't running around frantically or anything. It was such a relaxing peaceful day. I am so grateful for how everything came together...it was MEANT TO BE!!!

The photos came out AMAZING!!! So much so that we had actually chosen the photo package that didn't come with an album, but later decided that we wanted the album. Choose the package with the album!!! You won't regret it! The albums that Jenn put together are amazing and its so nice to relive my wedding through the album. Besides, as much as you think you will print photos after you receive your USB drive, you probably won't. That is why having the album and canvas prints are great!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jenn Guthrie Photography. The moment I met Jenn she made me feel so comfortable. She is fun, upbeat, and genuine- we clicked immediately. This is so important as you will spend countless hours on your wedding day with your photographer! On our wedding day, she captured every moment that was important to me and more. I couldn't be happier with our wedding photos and two years later I STILL receive compliments.
I have since used JGP for a boudoir session and yearly family Christmas photos. My husband and I know Jenn will remain both our friend and photographer as we start a family of our own. It is so fun to watch Jenn's past brides start families and continue to use her for years after their wedding day. Just when I think she can't get any better she blows me away! She is bubbly, creative, and isn't afraid to take charge. You will get sneak peeks really quickly, too. Who doesn't love that?!

Jenn's work is beautiful and we are so grateful to have found someone as personable and talented as her to document the most important moments of our lives. Thank you JGP, we love you!

Picking a photographer for your wedding is such a nervous thing because the pictures taken are going to be looked at and displayed forever. Because of this, I wanted a photographer who understood exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love Jenn! She gave me the pictures of my dreams! Every single picture was absolutely perfect. She captured every single moment which for a bride is overwhelmingly great. And here’s a shock, IT WAS RAINING! My outdoor wedding became indoors in a matter of minutes, but you wouldn’t know by looking at my pictures! Jenn was absolutely amazing. I am still shocked with how beautiful the pictures came out even with the rain. I wouldn’t change a thing! Another big reason I loved Jenn was because she was and IS so personal and friendly. I remember when my husband and I had our first meeting with her. We walked away knowing she was the one! She’s an expert photographer who’s friendly and passionate about what she does. What more could you ask for? She was also very easy to reach and get in contact with if I had any questions or concerns. I have received numerous compliments on Jenn and her remarkable pictures. Needless to say, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She is passionate about her work and it shows through her excellent work. From the first day I met Jenn regarding her services my bridesmaid and I knew she would be the one to capture my special day. Jenn was easy to contact every step of the way from asking questions and sending pictures of props and outfit ideas for my engagement shoot. I had a certain style I wanted to show in my images with the natural sunlight, Jenn made this happen for me! Once she posted a picture of my engagement shoot I couldn’t stop looking at it, it looked like a fairy tale. On my wedding day Jenn and Brent were so professional I can’t even begin to tell you how easy they made our pictures go by. All our wedding photos are amazing she took pictures I had no idea she was even taking. Jenn is really talented at what she does I am so glad that she was put into my path. Jenn of Jenn Guthrie Photography is absolutely amazing. She gets to know you as a person, what is important to you, what your style is, and she caters to whatever you need. She is very passionate about making sure her brides are happy throughout the entire process as she was always asking for my feedback and ensuring that I liked what she was doing.

On the wedding day, she was just the right amount of involved. She made sure she captured everything she needed without pulling me away too much. You could tell she wanted to make sure I enjoyed every moment, so when she got a brilliant idea that didn’t require me she took off and did the pictures on her own. With all the hustle of the big day, that was so helpful! When we got our pictures back, there were some amazing shots I didn’t even know she took!

She is also a lot of fun and personable. Expect to laugh a lot with her and to have a friend by the end of your session. I loved that about working with her because it meant I could be completely honest with her, and at the end of the day, that meant I got exactly what I wanted. And when you get your photos back, expect to be blown away! We were so entranced when we got the pictures back. I received countless compliments from friends and family on just the sneak peeks alone, as well as compliments on Jenn herself and how enjoyable she was. I would highly recommend her. She is a perfectionist about her beautiful work. And with her talent and personality, she was clearly born to do this.

Jenn Guthrie and her fiance, Brent (Brent Culbertson Photography), photographed my wedding day and they did an amazing job!! I thought it was really nice to have both a guy and a girl photographer, as Brent was able to hang out with the guys, while Jenn took pictures of the girls. This kept everything simple and made the picture taking process go faster. Also, they are both so much fun to hang out with. I felt like I could pull them in any direction and ask them to take a certain picture for me. Their passion for photography really shows through in their pictures. Also, Jenn was more than just a photographer, she really helped my wedding day go more smoothly. I did not have a wedding coordinator and made most of the arrangements myself and with all of Jenn's wedding experience she did an amazing job at keeping the wedding party on schedule and offering tips throughout the night (ex: cutting the cake!). I got a little anxious during the wait to see my finalized pictures, but once I got them I could not have been more pleased. They were everything I had hoped for and I'm so happy I have these pictures that so accurately and beautifully captured the best day of my life! Can't thank them enough!

Photography for my wedding was very high on my priority list. Jenn was recommended to me by a friend. We hit it off right away at the interview. Jenn has a lot of energy and is intuitively creative. She was very flexible for when I needed her on our wedding day. Having an eye for beauty, Jenn did amazing photos at all three of the sites we used on our day. During the ceremony it started to rain which made a huge change in our plans for having many of the bride and groom photos together afterwards. She was able to be very flexible and capitalize on a grim afternoon. Our pictures turned out amazing. Strangers have told me I should submit at least two of them to a magazine. Jenn did so much more than I expected. I will continue to use her as my professional photographer in the future because a professional is truly what Jenn is.

I would like to start off that I literally searched and reviewed at least 40 photographers to find Jenn Guthrie Photography. I had initially had my wedding date set for November 9th, 2013. After some changes, I had rescheduled my wedding date to August 1st, 2013. Jenn, was so accomodating and flexible with my changes, and I couldn't have been more thankful for that with all the chaos that was going on during that time. She is truly a gem, and a pleasure to work with. She delves into her work with passion and professionalism. I absolutely am in LOVE with my engagement and wedding pictures. She is worth every penny, and any bride would not be disappointed. I have to give her associate photographer props too, Brent Culbertson of Brent Culbertson Photographer. He compliments her work and they work amazing together capturing the true happiness and glow of your special day from every angle.

Jenn Guthrie is Awesome!
I normally don't do this kind of thing, but Jenn was way to awesome not to let other people know about her. First off, she was a lot of fun and from the very beginning with our engagement shoot. We felt like we had been friends for years by the time we left. Her personality is perfect for what she does, you can't help but have a good time. Expect a lot of giggling and jumping around while she takes pictures cause she is so good at what she does they all turn out perfect. Even with a pretty limited budget we had Jenn fly up to MD to shoot our wedding because we would never be satisfied with anyone else. When we got the pictures back we were completely blown away. She captured everything we wanted and so much more. Before, during, and after the wedding she was able to catch all the special moments without us feeling like we had to stop and pose and make sure she was there to get the pictures. We just enjoyed our wedding day and let her do what she does best and it was perfect. You can tell she loves her job! It really helped calm our nerves because we could relax knowing she had it covered.

Jenn Guthrie Photography was one of the best choices we had made for our wedding day. Jenn was there from the moment we started getting ready in the morning all the way through the end of the reception. She was a total gem -- great attention to detail, creative ideas, and making everybody laugh every step of the way! I can only imagine how hard it was for her to shoot such a big bridal party, especially when little kids were involved, but she made it fun for everybody and was very efficient. I loved how she would allow us to take breaks (especially important for the little ones) and in the meantime was taking photographs of the small details -- bouquets, jewelry, etc. I also appreciated her being very firm about taking pictures at sunset -- my husband was not thrilled about leaving the guests but the sunset photos ended up being hands down our favorite out of the entire day. Jenn was also very responsive to our ideas and extremely easy to work with. I consider her a friend and cannot wait to hire her again for maternity and newborn pictures when the time comes. A year after the wedding she even helped me put together a wedding album that I gave to my husband for our first anniversary and she did an absolutely amazing job with that too. I guarantee that anybody would have the best experience ever with her, so if you are considering hiring Jenn Guthrie Photography for your special day -- do not hesitate!!!

Absolutely Amazing!
I came across Jenn Guthrie Photography a couple times from mutual friend's photos on Facebook, I figured she would be booked no doubt on the day I planned to get married... I decided not to even bother contacting her, knowing I'd be disappointed. After contacting other photographers with no luck, I put a status on Facebook asking if anyone had any suggestions, someone mentioned JGP again. I figured at that point,
I might as well contact her, she got back to me right away and believe it or not that was the ONLY weekend in March she had available! We met up shortly after and I seriously fell in love with her! She was absolutely amazing and EVERYTHING I was looking for in a photographer, very down to earth, amazing skills, and had a great take charge attitude!!! She includes an engagement session with her wedding packages so that you can feel comfortable with her before the "big day" which is perfect! I loved that she had a million poses and ideas for the pictures so it wasn't at any time awkward or unproductive!
She shoots the wedding with her and her fiancé which is amazing so you know there won't be any shots missed! We got married on the golf course and so when we went to take formal pictures on the green it was hilarious because there were golfers trying to tee off and aiming right at us and she was like, they can wait or take it somewhere else because we're not moving, we can't lose this lighting!!! I thought that was amazing, she put our pictures and happiness over anything else! Long story short, she was amazing and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to take our pictures! The day only lasted for a couple of hours but these pictures will last a lifetime! Thank you Jenn!

I am a happily married woman with a GINORMOUS crush on Jenn Guthrie Photography. She is phenomenal!!
So here's the scoop. As a bride, I wanted a photographer that could completely take charge and yet still be very friendly, flexible and patient.
CHECK.
Before the wedding even began, Jenn was a gosh-darn saving grace. Apparently, the storm that had just rolled through that afternoon had smashed the electrical box to the historic inn where we were having the reception (Insert bride's worst nightmare here--there was no electricity!!). Now, I'm pretty high strung as is and might have gotten a tad bit anxious (ie: bridezilla freakout) and Jenn calmly suggested that "perhaps this would be a good time for first-look photos". She couldn't have been more right. As soon as I saw my hubby-to-be, nothing else mattered. She was so patient and knew exactly what I needed. Plus, the photos were amazing!!
Also, Jenn literally kidnapped me for a few minutes during the reception to get that perfect sunset picture and had no problem taking control. Because of that, my husband and I have the most GORGEOUS golden-sunlight-shimmering-through-the-trees photograph of us. She is comfortable in any environment and always has YOUR happiness as her goal. She is seriously the perfect balance of charisma, tenacity, professionalism and talent...the Mary Poppins of photography--"practically perfect in every way".

Jenn photographed my wedding on June 1, along with her fiance' Brent as the second shooter. I could not be more pleased with her services! From the moment I inquired about her services, she responded quickly and professionally. I had no doubts about her from the beginning (honestly, she was the only photographer I inquired about since I had been following her work for a while and knew she would be perfect for our style/vision), but her personality and PASSION for wedding photographing really solidified my decision.

On our wedding day, she and Brent just naturally fit into the day. Not sure if that makes sense, but they were so professional and easy to work that it didn't even feel like they were there. They took AMAZING, natural photos that captured the day perfectly. Again, it felt like just hanging with a friend who happened to be taking pictures. She was there for me if I needed anything and made sure that everything ran smoothly.
After the wedding, she stayed in touch with me and kept me updated on the status of my photos. She even posted some preview on Facebook to hold us over for a little while

Disclaimer: If you're looking to get your photos back in two-three weeks, then Jenn is not for you. However, if you're looking for QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL photography and EXCELLENT customer service, then the buck stops at Jenn Guthrie Photography. It's clear that she was put on this Earth to be a wedding photographer, and it shows in her work. I can't recommend Jenn enough. BONUS: She is extremely reasonably priced (and worth SO much more!). In my opinion, photography is the most important wedding expense and I am so happy that I chose Jenn as my wedding photographer!

Choosing Jenn Guthrie Photography for our wedding was the best decision we made! She was GREAT! We loved every picture from our engagement session and the wedding! Of all my vendors, Jenn was my favorite. She was so much fun to work with and she is so creative. Oh, and she is an AMAZING photographer!

This is how I met Jenn: My husband (then fiancé) is in the military and was stationed in Virginia at the time. We needed our engagement pictures for the save the dates. However, my fiancé could only give a week notice for when he could make the trip to Florida. He called me on a Tuesday and told me he would be in late Friday. I immediately called my photographer who I had been talking with previously. He said he did not want to do the shoot that weekend because it was supposed to be raining. I was in a bind! Thursday came and I still had no photographer! Finally, my wedding planner told me to call Jenn. At extremely short notice, Jenn came through and photographed us IN THE RAIN!! The pictures were phenomenal. I went home that day and told my mother that we had found our wedding photographer.
The day of the wedding she brought a second shooter (her fiancé, they’re so cute together). Sure enough, it was freezing outside! But they toughed through the weather and encouraged me and my husband to do the same. Our wedding was only a few days ago so I have only seen 6 or 7 pictures; they’re wonderful! I tear up looking at some of them.

I will recommend Jenn to every single one of my friends and family members. She is great!

We fell in love with Jenn when she photographed my sister's wedding and were thrilled that she was able to do ours 2 years later!
We planned our wedding from 1000 miles away, and to say that she worked with us every step of the way is an understatement. Jenn answered all our questions in advance and fulfilled all of our requests after the fact.
We ended up with such amazing wedding pictures and now can't decide which ones to put in an album! Seriously, some beautiful shots. Highly recommended if you are in Jax full time or planning a destination wedding nearby.
