  Beautiful Work

  Jenn was amazing to work with. From the very beginning she was very helpful. Then during the pandemic our wedding date had to reschedule. Jenn was able to accommodate us for our new date. We were very pleased with her work. She captured every special moment. I would highly recommend her to everyone.

  Our engagement session with Jenn was SO much fun! Knowing how fabulous her reputation was, I couldn't wait to start. However, after a bad experience in the past I was worried we'd have to rush through the session because of a photographer's busy schedule. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only was she warm and fun-loving, but she acted like we were the only people on the planet for our entire session. So cheesy but so true. We didn't feel 'posed' or dictated like rag dolls, yet somehow as we look at the pictures, we realize she made every angle uniquely complementary to our bodies and features. Apparently we were posing the whole time, just effortlessly! I can't say enough about her talent - I've said it to her and I'll say it again: the result is so perfect, I'm considering naming our first born after her. It can't get any better than that! Jokes aside, Jenn gave us memories to cherish for a lifetime, packaged in beautiful moments you can't capture without a special eye that very few people have. Jenn has it. We're hooked! She's our photographer for life if we can help it.

  Look no further because the best decision you will make in wedding planning is having Jenn as your photographer. Jenn was absolutely AMAZING to work with and our session was so much fun! We told Jenn how much we love the Spanish moss trees, and she made a huge effort to include them in a lot of her shots. Jenn encouraged us to bring something to make the shoot our own, something unique to us - and what a fantastic recommendation! We absolutely love the photos she took! Jenn is creative with her photography and used a variety of angles to create great pictures from close up and from a distance. She worked hard to get the pictures back to us in less than a week. Jenn really went above and beyond. She has a great eye, a fantastic personality, and the time flew by when we were together. I would not only give Jenn 5 stars, I would give her a huge hug and the biggest heartfelt THANK YOU for making our dream engagement session a reality. We will cherish the photos she took forever!!

  I had the pleasure of working with Jenn Cady of Jenn Cady Design Photography to capture my wedding day. I fell in love with Jenn’s work before I was engaged. She was my only choice to photograph all the events leading up to marriage including an engagement, boudoir, and bridal session as well as the full wedding day. My finance and I prioritized documentation as one of the most important aspects of our wedding. Jenn created stunning photo documentation of the most special day of our lives! We chose her Diamond Collection which includes everything you need from the moment you are engaged through after the wedding. A unique aspect of Jenn Cady Design Photography is that you own your photos. Every shot her team takes is yours-you and your guests do not have to buy individual photos. This allowed me to kindly request photos not be taken during the ceremony and promise guests they would have full access to all professional photos. Jenn is extremely accommodating and always available to her clients. She can help make your vision a beautiful reality. I created a very extensive list of photos to captured during the wedding day and Jenn got them all! During sessions she was able to give great feedback and direction, make us laugh, and above all create a comfortable environment so our photos look relaxed and natural. She also coordinated everything with our wedding planner, beauty team and videographer-taking a lot of stress off of me. On our wedding day, she moved seamlessly through all the events and was unobtrusive during intimate times, but also able to capture moments like she was right next to us. During the reception, Jenn was also able to engage and accommodated guest’s requests. My husband and I have been blown away with Jenn’s talent, positivity, and professionalism. We knew after our engagement session, Jenn would be our family photographer for years to come.   The only advice I can give is they would be missing out on the best Photographer in the area. It is a pleasure to work with Jenn Cady Photography!

  Working with Jenn was an absolute dream! We actually had her 'retake' our wedding photos. We chose a different wedding photographer for our wedding in September and sadly our photos came out horrible. Having heard everyone rave about Jenn in town, we put the clothes back on and had her do a bride & groom shoot :) At first questioning whether it was even necessary to do the shoot, we are beyond thrilled that we have these amazing photos to hang at home and show our children down the line. Her true talents really lie in know EXACTLY how to pose people were it looks natural and flattering; as well as creating the PERFECT lighting for each and every weather scenario. I will definitely be using her for all of our future photography needs!

  Jenn is AMAZING. My pictures turned out absolutely breathtaking and she has such a great personality for her job. We did our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures with her and the only feedback we got was gorgeous, amazing, breathtaking, and how talented she was and how lucky I was to have her! You always read stories about how photography is not where you want to cut back on expenses because at the end of the day the pictures are all you have and Jenn did just that. I cannot wait to make an album and portraits with them for our house!
  
  In Charleston it is hard to find a photographer who is affordable, personable, with the determination just to get perfect pictures and see you happy! Jenn was willing to try new poses that I of course printed off from pinterest and they turned out great!
  
  You always see the 5.0/5.0 reviews and wonder how true it is and I am telling you from experience and a girl on a budget that you will find no better in Charleston regardless of the price. Jenn always said that the only thing you have left after the wedding (besides a good start of marriage of course) are the pictures to remind you of that special day and you want them to be great! I hope this review inspires you to check her out because she is honestly great at her job and has become a great friend and I will use her for any professional pictures I do from now on!   As a magazine editor I have dealt with plenty of photographers, but Jenn is one of the absolute best. She is friendly and easy to talk to, willing to take the creative reigns at a shoot, good with children and, of course, consistently produces a beautiful product! I could not recommend Jenn more heartily. Thank you, Jenn, for making Mount Pleasant Magazine beautiful!

  Boudoir photos with Jenn were Unbelievable!!!!!! She captured me in a way I had never seen myself before. She made me feel so comfortable and unbelievably beautiful to result in some breath-takingly stunning and sexy photos. My only wish is that I would have thought of this or done this for my entire bachelorette party!

  I came to Jenn needing head shots taken for upcoming events. Not only did Jenn book me and a friend quickly, but she also made sure we had our photos back to us as quickly as possible. She made my time with her so much fun and really made me feel special. The connection and friendship I've made with Jenn I will cherish for a lifetime, and the professionalism and character she radiates is what I will always remember. I recommend Jenn to anyone, because there is no photographer I've ever met who is more compassionate for and involved with their clients like her.   Jenn is the best in the business when it comes photography. She's very personable and excellent to work with for any occasion. I would personally recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

  Jenn is the best in the business when it comes photography. She's very personable and excellent to work with for any occasion. I would personally recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

  Not wanting to have my picture taken due to surgery Jenn made me feel so comfortable I forgot what she was doing. I loved her personality and professionalism along with the pictures she took. This was the first time after having multiple surgeries for breast cancer (double mastectomy) that I felt beautiful in a picture.
