Jenn and her team were great to work with. We had a very large wedding party (12), but the three of them handled us with time to spare. I was pretty undecided on how to wear my hair. But after Jenn asked about my dress, accessories, and took my hair and the weather into consideration, she was able to recommend the perfect style. And to top it off, they kept us laughing the entire time!

I had a great experience with Jenn by Design. Jenn was prompt when responding to all my emails and questions. Sarah did our hair and makeup the day of the wedding and I couldn't have been happier. She was prompt, professional, and an amazing artist. My sister is getting married next year and we will definitely be using them again!

Jenn and her team were amazing. When I was panicking, they knew how to calm me down. I am forever grateful for them. My hair was amazing and my make up waa flawless. My day was perfect because of them.

Jenn By Design was wonderful!!!!!!! Very friendly and professional! I have used them for many big events in my life so it was no question on who I would be using for my wedding day! Jennifer did EXACTLY what my girls and myself asked for and she made it 100 times better than what we would have ever dreamed of! Highly, highly, highly recommend them!!!!!

Sarah and her assistant (I forgot her name) did an excellent job on my wedding. There were 9 of us and we were all done ahead of schedule. It rained the entire day, but my hair & makeup didn't budge. I would definitely use them again.

My husband and I chose to just go to the JP to get married, but I knew I still wanted to feel like a bride on my wedding day. I found Jenn by Design online, and feel in love with her pictures. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Even if you having a small wedding, go ahead and splurge so that you feel and look beautiful.

I chose Jenn to do my bridal makeup for my summer outdoor wedding. She did a fantastic job on my bridal makeup and understood exactly what I was asking for, even though I didn't exactly have the vocabulary to describe what it was I wanted. She also did all three of my bridesmaids and two hair styles, and they each looked stunning! She took the time with each face and really brought out everyone's best features. She was also a vital part of my actual wedding ceremony. My sister and Maid of Honor was on the verge of fainting up at the alter and was able to escape unoticiced to the dressing area where Jenn was still packing up. I was told later that my sister used the last of her strength to hold up my now husband's wedding band and exclaim her panic without words before she fainted. Jenn took the wedding band from my sister and snuck it back up to the alter like a ninja just in time! I highly recommend her!

Jenn by Design provided hair and makeup services for my wedding. I had a difficult time finding someone I could trust for this portion of my wedding. I wanted a very natural look for myself but my 6 other bridesmaids varied from romantic to glam. Jenn by Design did a great job and I would recommend them to other brides.

Jenn did the makeup for my friend's wedding while I was a bridesmaid, and she was prompt, prepared, funny while she did the makeup, and did a great job! I am booking her now for my wedding, and her prices are very reasonable!

Jenn By Design made my wedding day amazing and made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and beautiful! My sister used her for her wedding earlier in the year, and I did not even consider looking at other options when it came time for mine. I inquired that same day about booking my wedding with Jenn by Design, and was so excited to have her do hair and makeup for myself and the bridal party. They truly made us look wonderful, and ensured to listen to what we wanted, in order to give us the best look for the big day. Jenn by Design is extremely reasonably priced, and you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend her!!

I cannot rave enough about Jenn!! She did my hair and makeup as well as hair and makeup for 6 of my bridesmaids for my wedding. We did a trial the week before the wedding and I wasn't in love with it, so for the wedding, she made it exactly what I hoped it would be! She was receptive, quick with email, and super calming throughout the process. She was patient with me when I got worked up and worked so well on our time frame. Everything was ready on time and gorgeous! I would absolutely recommend Jenn for your wedding!

I had the pleasure of working with Jenn and her sister for our October wedding. I would recommend her to anyone! She is friendly, professional, and just a joy to work with. She went an hour out of her way and took the time to meet with me before the wedding to discuss possible hairstyles. She had great ideas and knew exactly what to do that fit with my ideal vision for the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, she and her sister were a great help keeping my wedding party calm and moving along. All of my girls absolutely loved her!! She had us laughing the entire time. It was a great way to calm the wedding jitters. When time was getting tight at the end, she even helped get me in my wedding dress. It was an unseen but tremendous help!! If I ever need hair or makeup again for a professional event, I will definitely be choosing Jenn! She was not only the best choice, but I also made a lifetime friend.

My wedding was in August. I had a hair/ makeup trial and then day of services for myself 5 bridesmaids, and two moms. Jenn and her assistant were very friendly and professional, and it was a great price. They were able to take my comments from the trial and make sure I was happy on the day of the wedding. I was happy with my makeup- there was a bit of an issue with my eyelashes, but they worked on them until I was completely satisfied. I absolutely loved my hair, and my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law looked beautiful. We were slightly rushed for time towards the end of our session, but Jenn worked hard to get us out the door on time. My only regret is that I forgot to ask for a touch up lipstick to take with me, I ended up having to retouch with lipstick my mom had in her purse. Other than that, it was a great experience and Jenn was a talented, friendly, and professional choice!

I have never seen my wife so excited and talk so highly about a person before till Jenn. Jenn did my wife's trial, bridal portraits and the wedding party's hair and makeup. When my wife walked down the isle I finally realized what the whole hype about Jenn was. I'm not the type of man to get on these sites and leave reviews but this review was well deserved, my Wife looked GORGEOUS! I would say she always looks good but Jenn found it possible to make her even more gorgeous.

I did a lot of research and trials with makeup artist, and after I had a trial with Jenn I fell in love! She made me look amazing!! I am extremely picky with my hair and makeup and she did exactly what I wanted with her own little touch. Jenn and her sister did my wedding party and my mother in law's hair and makeup, Everyone loved it! Which are all extremely picky as well. I will be having her do my hair and makeup for any event! She is the best value out there and I BELIEVE the best makeup and hair artist compared to the top known artist who do makeup. Jenn and her team are very quick and she responds to all text and e-mails no matter how late. GET A TRIAL YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Jenn not only provided me with a great price, but also worked with me on short notice. She kept me calm throughout the preparations during the wedding day, and also understood exactly the look I was going for. I had a trial run with her 2 weeks before the wedding, and she very graciously stayed even after her work was finished to help me out during the photo shoot.

Jenn by Design was the perfect choice for my wedding day. Her and her sister did hair and make-up for me my 5 bridesmaids. They were even able to squeeze in my mom and grandmother, both of whom did not have appointments made, and all in time for the start of the wedding! They came on-site to our wedding venue and set up shop in the morning. They truly made my day less stressful. Sharing stories and talking girl talk all day while in hair and makeup was a great distraction from wedding day stress. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous, and they did exactly what we had envisioned. I highly recommend Jenn by Design for all bridal hair and makeup needs, or any other special event you may have coming up!

Jennifer and her sister provided exceptional work at a great price! They were able to put our vision to life with some beautiful hair and makeup styles. Not only were they efficient, but they were easy to talk to. It was just what the bride needed on what would've been an otherwise stressful day. I recently got married in October 2012 and I used Jenn by Design for hair & make up for myself and bridesmaids. I heard about it by simply searching on "The Knot" and reading the vendor reviews so I decided to take a chance. I am glad to say that I did! All of us loved the way that our hair and make up came out. I had never worn that much make up much less false eyelashes but after looking at my bridal pictures - I am very well pleased. My bridesmaids are still talking about how much they loved their hair & makeup! Jenn was very professional, very friendly and we enjoyed getting to know them. Not only did they do an amazing job on hair & make up, but they also helped me get dressed since I was running on a tight schedule on wedding day as you can well imagine. Thank you so much Jenn! You have no idea how thankful I am for your help - my mom thanks you from above :).

I was very happy with the service I got from Jenn by design. After shopping around; I found she had the best prices around. She was easy to get ahold of by email, text, or phone call. She even answered the phone when I called after 7:00pm which pleasantly surprised me. She was very accommodating and even traveled to Galveston super early in the morning to get me and my bridesmaids ready for my 10:00am wedding. We had no trial run and we weren't sure what we wanted, but she listened to our ideas and got to work. We loved the results! My husband said I looked like a barbie. :)

My husband and I just got married and I used Jenn by Design for hair and makeup for our entire bridal party. Jenn and her team were there before schedule ready to go and made everyone look beautiful for the event. They are quick, affordable, professional, fun to be around, and most importantly- actually gave us what we asked for in terms of style. They were also very helpful getting me ready to go after my bridesmaids had already left the bridal suite and were just a good time in general.

Really enjoyed Jenn and her team and would recommend them to anyone.

I didn't know Jenn before I started researching wedding hair and makeup. After an extensive internet search and because I was on a bit of a budget, I decided to go with Jenn by Design because not only was her price fair, but her pictures looked amazing. She and Jessica did the hair/makeup for my bridal pictures as a trial for the wedding day. They turned out beautifully, and Jenn and Jessica were open to some different ideas on how I wanted my makeup. They made those changes for the wedding day, and I was so happy with the way I looked (as was my mom, who is a hard lady to please). They also did my 4 bridesmaids hair and makeup. On top of all the wedding services, I needed my hair cut and highlighted for the wedding. I didn't have a regular hairdresser (I'd been going to a beauty school to save money), so I had Jess cut and color my hair. It has NEVER looked so good before! The highlights were exactly what I wanted, and she knew without me even having to tell her! I can't imagine having my hair done by anyone else now! Thanks Jenn and Jessica!!

Jennifer was very pleasant to have do my hair for my best friends wedding. She did exactly what i wanted and she is very fast and i had several comments on my hair. She is also now my personal sylist and i go see her for all of my hair needs! I HIGHLY recommend her for any hair needs that you may need! SHES AWESOME and always willing to work with you! :)

In Nov 2011 Jenn did our in-home hair and make-up for my best friend's wedding party and I can't say enough about how cool under fire she was! As the day approached everyone decided they wanted hair and make-up at the last minute and Jenn ended up having 4 hours to do hair and make-up for 9 people (9 hair and 4-5 make-ups)! Jenn arrived, got straight to work, and never seemed stressed or frustrated by our last minute additions. In fact, she kept us calm! She was easy going and creative and did a terrific job on our group, who ranged from the 80 year old grandmother of the bride (who had never had her make-up done before), to a very demanding bridal party (including a very finicky Maid of Honor, if I do say so myself!). Jenn was just awesome and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a fun addition to their wedding day festivities!

I recently had my hair and makeup done by Jenn and Jessica for my best friend's wedding. I had no clue what I wanted, but they took my fine hair into consideration and made it look like I had twice the amount of hair that I actually do. They made everyone feel comfortable, classy, and beautiful. They finished about 20 minutes early, so they even stayed to help us take pictures. I would recommend Jenn and her team for anyone getting married, they'll make the day go smooth and you'll look great.

I'm so conflicted on writing this review! Let me just start with - I LOVED Jenn. She showed up early & immediately put me at ease. She was laidback, yet professional. She brought absolutely everything she needed to do my hair and makeup - including lighting and a tall make up chair. Like I said, super professional! My make-up was fantastic and it stayed on all day, night, and the next day (oops! I didn't wash off my make-up that night; Don't judge!). It was raining on my wedding day, so the curls fell pretty quickly and it did frizz a bit. I'm not holding the weather-affected hair against her, AT ALL. The "poof" she put in lasted incredibly, but I do wish she had used more hair spray to try to avoid the frizz. Before the weather (which I can't blame on her at all!) hit my hair, it was stunning. Honestly, it was my fantasy hair and makeup. She did a fantastic job. Her pricing was amazing, as was her quality. 5 stars for Jenn, herself.

Now, for the bad.

The only bad for Jenn was that my hair & make up took a lot longer than expected. I know this happens a lot for brides, but it was a pretty big delay! I'm not sure how long I was in 'the chair', but I will say that I was supposed to take my bridal portraits at 4pm... And I was in the chair until 4:45 This was the only con for Jenn, but definitely something that needs work. I hope she works on blocking out more time for her brides in the future - because her quality is great and I'd definitely use her, again!

The other con is a big one, but isn't a direct reflection on Jenn, herself. She brought along Martin to assist in the bridesmaid's hair... He was really, really sweet. But oh goodness. Really slow and only one of the girls even liked her hair! He seemed really nervous, so I think he's new. Unfortunately, I would strongly recommend for Jenn not to use him in weddings until he has more experience. One of my bridesmaid's hair looked so bad that she was crying - until I made her ask him to redo it!

I used Jenn to do my make up for my wedding. I was originally going to have a friend do it, but when I found out she wasn’t going to be able to travel for my wedding, I went on weddingwire to look at reviews to find someone. Jenn had amazing reviews, and I am glad to report that they were completely accurate!
I am not the kind of girl that wears make up often, so I gave Jenn very little direction, because I had no idea what I wanted. That didn’t trip her up at all, she asked me all of the right questions to figure out what would suit me best, taking into account my personality, my style, my dress, the wedding colors, and the overall vibe we were going for. I had Jenn do a trial before the big day, which was wonderful to put my mind at ease the day of my wedding, because I knew exactly how it would turn out. I was extremely impressed with how well Jenn did my make up, and even received several positive comments from friends, some even saying that I looked like a model. I have no complaints about the quality of her work!

Jenn by design and her sister ( sorry forgot her name) were the make up and hair artists for our wedding. My wife and I were a bit nervous about the whole thing because we do not wear much make up or do anything with our hair except pony tails.

The pair were both very confident and suggested things that worked! We looked amazing! Jenn came by my apartment months before the wedding, and we are able to have ideas of what we wanted. Jenn always answered my questions via text very promptly.

They were a little late the day of but my wedding was at a winery in the country, and her GPS had a hiccup and almost got her lost. I would suggest giving detailed directions if you have a wedding in the country where signal is poor as she wasn't the only one.

We were still able to do most of what we had planned before the wedding. Overall, our experience was great!

Jenn and Jessica are talented hair and makeup artists. I was very happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding in April 2016. My MOH, my mom, and my husband's mom all had their hair and makeup done, too, and were very pleased with the results. My only slightly negative comment would be related to timeliness. Jenn was an hour late for a hair/makeup trial for the mothers (said she had a morning wedding that ran late). She was also more than 30 mins late for my bridal hair/makeup trial due to traffic. She was on time or even early on my wedding day, but we had allocated 4 hours for hair & makeup for four people, which we thought would be more than enough time, and they finished an hour late, which really cut into the time we had scheduled for photos. However, in the big scheme of things, they were the least expensive hair/makeup artist we could find in Houston and they did a very nice job with the hair and makeup. I would recommend Jenn by Design for wedding hair/makeup, but would also recommend budgeting additional time in the schedule over what you plan.

I was a bridesmaid and my hair and makeup came out perfect. It was just what I wanted. Jenn was very nice and friendly and made the brides day something even more special by how smoothly everything went. She was very punctual and made sure that we were all set and ready to go!

Jenn by Design was great to work with. She was very flexible in that I changed the date of my bridals and she was able to fit it into her schedule. I loved my hair and make up for both bridal portraits and for my wedding day. When I asked Jenn to make a few changes to my hair for the wedding day, she was understanding and I loved my hair even more! She was so quick that we had extra time and I did not feel rushed at all on my wedding day. Overall, Jenn by Design was a great vendor!

Jenn was a fantastic help on my wedding day. Her and her team where in Galveston and at our hotel room at 4:00 am to make 6 of us gorgeous for my cruise wedding. Obviously by the early time frame she is super flexible and extreamly accomadating . The hair and makeup were beautiful!! I couldn't have been more happy. The only thing I will say is that it does take her a little while to respond to e-mails . Just be patient she always answers eventually and she and her team are worth every penny!

I hired Jenn by Design to do hair & make-up for 10 out of 12 of my bridesmaids (the other 2 were my sisters & they were going to be with my wedding beauty team). I wish I had gone with Jenn by Design instead of the company I used for myself (FASHION FACE). Jenn by Design worked out a fairly reasonable price with me & all the girls were happy with their hair and make-up. I was happy with the cost factor. The hair-dresser I hired for the morning of, from FASHION FACE, didn't even show up and my make-up artist is the one who scrambled to do my hair, my mom's & my 2 sisters. Along with all our make-up. Jenn By Design didn't get a perfect 5 from me ONLY because i was told by the bridesmaids later that the team was running a bit late in the morning & occasionally it took awhile for me to get a reply back when I emailed the vendor. BUT... i would absolutely recommened this vendor for your wedding. Thank you Jenn by Design!

I signed a contract with Jenn to do my hair/makeup and 4 of my attendants, paid her $403.16 (half the total as a deposit) when I signed the contract to hold the wedding date. She pushed back my trial because she no longer had a booth at the salon she worked at, so she agreed to come to my house. 45 minutes before she was supposed to show up I get an email that she can't make it because she had to go to the ER for a complication. This was 13 days before my wedding. She didn't offer any alternative times to do the trial and I didn't have any time left since I work full time. She voided her own contract by not offering an alternative artist, and it has been nearly 2 months and I still haven't received the deposit back, my husband and I are in the process of reporting her to the Better Business Bureau and we have to take her to small claims court. DO NOT USE JENN! She was difficult to contact from the start and she is untrustworthy!!
