Best photographer hands down!
Our relationship with Jen started 6 years ago when she photographed our wedding. From the very first phone conversation, she and I just clicked. Being in the creative industry I am very picky about the style of photography I wanted for our wedding day. The day came and she did better than I could have imagined. Waking up the next day to a collection of photos already ready was the best gift after the most perfect day. After we saw the photos, we knew we would only use her from then one. We have since used her for both maternity sessions and newborn photos for our boys. I recommend her to every single person who is ever looking for a photography because she’s that amazing! -

I have had multiple shoots done by Jen and she is sure to get the perfect shot! The most recent was a family portrait and I brought a 3 month old puppy who did not want to cooperate and she somehow worked her magic and gave me amazing photos and memories I will cherish forever! We would STRONGLY recommend Jen as your wedding photographer! Working with her was so special and I cannot stress how her personality shines and makes you both, your family, your bridal party and everyone else involved in your day feel so comfortable and capture it perfectly!
From the beginning, during the phone call meetings to the engagement pictures (that she worked tirelessly to take them around my husband and I's crazy schedule) to the entire wedding day, Jen is so relaxed and smoothly orchestrates the circus in a way I will forever be thankful for.
She worked flawlessly with us and the other vendors to create a timeline we didn't have to pay attention to & could enjoy our day without a worry that everything we wanted to celebrate and be a part of, we would be. She 100% delivered on her promise.
As a type A person myself, Jen and her second shooter took full control on wedding day and again, I cannot stress enough how amazing our wedding day was because of her professionalism and efficiency. They both were extremely efficient with capturing the photographs we requested and even the groomsmen were excited to take pictures! Taking pictures was fun and effortless; they gave us clear instructions, were exactly where they needed to be, and they respected the fact that as the married couple we also want to be involved and relax during our day as well. She even took in consideration and went above and beyond to plan certain pictures around my young niece and nephew as our flower girl and ring bearer which is so thoughtful and shows how well versed she is in MANY different situations and knows how to get the job done.
The next day after the wedding Jen delivered a preview that I would have thought was half of our pictures! 120+ pictures from details to reception pictures for us and our families to enjoy so quickly! She even sent us a handful that we could choose from for our thank you cards as extras.
It was such a gift to work with Jen who quickly understood who my now husband and I are as a couple and certainly captured our day exactly how we wanted. You will definitely not regret booking Jen as your photographer! -

We would strongly recommend Jen as a wedding photographer. We loved working with her and feel that she was the perfect choice for us!
During our intro phone call before we booked with her, Jen emphasized that she strives to build up a relaxed relationship with her clients, such that when she shows up on the day of the wedding you have no qualms about spending the whole day with her. Throughout the months of planning, we had a couple of calls with her during which she took a bunch of time to answer questions, and calmed our nerves about the day-of, assuring us that she was equipped to improvise and figure out a way through anything that inevitably went awry. During our engagement shoot, she made it clear that she is down for anything; she helped us get used to being in front of a camera, captured a great session in less-than-ideal weather conditions, and turned the pictures around very quickly. When things felt a little amorphous as far as timelines went leading up to the big day, she told us to not worry and that she would be in the driver’s seat as far as keeping track of time on the day. She 100% delivered on her promise.
Jen and her second shooter (who happened to be her sister on our day) were a dream to work with, and they went above and beyond for us on the wedding day. It was super apparent to us that Jen has SEEN IT ALL. She was completely unfazed by small things that went wrong during the day (stained veil, ripped groomsman pants, probably other things that we weren’t even aware of). She completely ran our timeline, making sure that everything ran smoothly and that we stayed on track. She and her second shooter were extremely efficient with capturing the photographs we requested while making photography not feel like a chore. Taking pictures was fun and effortless; they gave us clear instructions, were exactly where they needed to be, and they respected the fact that as the married couple we also want to kick back and relax. They made sure to give us breaks and blended into the background when necessary, while still capturing photos of us, our guests, and of significant events throughout the day, so we didn’t feel like we had a camera in our face the entire day. They were also hilarious and a ton of fun!
The day after the wedding, Jen delivered a preview of not a couple pictures, but of 40+ pictures for us to obsess over with our families. We were floored and are looking forward to seeing the rest of them!
Booking a photographer for your wedding is such a loaded choice, as this person will be with you the entire day. It was such a gift to work with Jen who, instead of doing the bare minimum, took an immense load off our shoulders by taking charge of our day and flawlessly communicating with other vendors to assure everything ran smoothly, cracking us up along the way. Do yourself a favor and book Jen for your big day! You won’t regret it! -

Very talented wedding photographers
I found Jen and Katie photography through the recommendation of my venue. She was so helpful with talking about all of the details of the wedding day and listened to all of our wishes and I instantly felt that they were the best option. They helped capture every moment during our wedding day with a lot of great photos to choose from and were really fun to work with and very energetic. The pictures turned out beautiful and we will always have these photos to look back On and remember how beautiful our day was -

Katie was amazing! She knew exactly what she was doing and told us all what poses to do which I loved. She arrived as I was getting my hair and makeup done and stayed until we were all dancing on the dance floor, it was such a long day but she captured it perfectly! My husband and I were on our honeymoon when we received our sneak peak (Only 3 days after our wedding!!!) Then we received our full album only 2 months after our wedding :) I would highly recommend Jen & Katie for your wedding day or any event you have. Our wedding day was the best day ever and Katie was able to capture it all! -

About 2 weeks before the wedding, the photographer Jenn asked me id her & the photogrpaher Lindsey could switch. I nervously said, yes. However, I am so glad I agreed!! Lindsey was amazing! Was right there when we needed her to take every shot and went with the flow throughout the whole day. At one point during our first look, someone took my husbands car keys so we all had to pile in Lindsey’s van to get to the other part of the venue. She was the nicest to everyone and took the most gorgeous photos. I can’t wait for her to photograph future family events. -

Jen & Katie Photography were absolutely perfect to work with! Jen was so much fun and did an amazing job working with us and our families. She captured our day so beautifully and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. She also posted the sneak peek the very next day, which was wonderful and even though it has only been two weeks, I am constantly looking back at those pictures to relive the day! From scouting out the venue to find areas with the least mud to braving unexpected snakes, Jen made everything feel easy and natural. Her work is light and airy, which was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. She also did an amazing job making sure we got all the pictures in while not taking us away from our guests or the party too much. Jen helped make the day go completely perfect while simultaneously perfectly capturing everything on camera. -

Jen and Katie were absolutely AMAZING for our wedding! We opted for a small intimate ceremony on the beach in 2020 and Jen came and beautifully captured our ceremony. She and her team came back in 2021 for our big reception and were so great. They were very efficient and helped to organize our bridal party and families for photos. They are also amazing at capturing the details and letting us get back to the party! Last but not least, they are so friendly and make it so easy to spend the whole day with them! Highly recommend! -

Jen and Katie were nothing short of AMAZING for our wedding day on 11/13/2020. In the midst of a planning/having a wedding during the middle of a pandemic, they captured our day perfectly. They were patient, kind and absolutely hilarious! Our bridal party and guests had nothing, but positive feedback! We loved everything about our first look and how they captured that special moment for my husband and I. Very organized and breezed through our family photos with plenty of time left to spare for cocktail hour. Best decision I made for my wedding. My now husband Chris and I had limited time and money when planning our wedding as we are both medical residents in Philly. We were never able to coordinate our schedules to get our engagement shoot done before the wedding (which was included in the package we had chosen for photography). I had been in touch with Jen for over a year as she was recommended by our venue (Manayunk Brewing Co). I had spoken to several other photography companies ahead of time but Jen was so accommodating and completely understood our vision. We got ready in the city and rented a trolley which we wanted our wedding party to hop on - hop off to get photos over the city prior to getting to Manayunk, which surprisingly no one else understood. Jen flew with the idea and went above and beyond to make this a perfect photoshoot for our wedding. Since we did not end up using our engagement shoot (Jen was amazing and applied these funds for more time) we were nervous we wouldn’t know “how to pose” for a camera on our special day. Jen and Katie made this whole day so much fun for us and our 16 person wedding party! Everyone is still raving about how much we laughed and had fun while taking our photoshoot and they made sure we got all the poses down in real time. We also hired one videographer and were surprised with a free extra videographer fully equipped w a drone for aerial shots! Literally amazing. We were told we would get a sneak peak the day after our wedding of some photos, which I assumed to be 5, 10 max. We received 55 gorgeous and perfect photos!! I am obsessed w the work this company does and will definitely be using myself again in the future and will be recommending to anyone I know getting married in the area. Katie and Jen are visionaries and make it happen to end up with the most perfect photo keepsake from the wedding day! -

Professional and Amazing
I am so happy that I found and booked with JFS Photography for my big day! I happened to find them on Facebook on a wedding website. I looked through their photos and reviews and loved what I saw. Finding a photographer was overwhelming for me but once I contacted JFS, Jen immediately contacted me back and helped reduce some of my stress. She was very accommodating, positive and just very genuine and kind. I asked her a million questions and she was always very helpful. The day of the wedding the photographer was very patient and calm during the hectic photo sessions we had (wrangling so many people proved difficult). My shots are beautiful! I love them all! I couldn't have picked a better company to book with. Even after the wedding and during the waiting period on getting my shots back Jen was incredibly helpful and accommodating in special requests I was making! If you're having an reservations, DON'T JUST BOOK!!!! -

Amanda Sent on 05/26/2018I cannot say enough wonderful things about JFS Photography Design! My husband and I worked with Jen and Katie for our wedding, and both of them are amazingly talented photographers who are so fun to work with.
From our initial meeting with Jen, I knew that we had found our photographer. Jen was always so responsive to emails, and was great at making me feel at ease with all aspects of our engagement and wedding photography.
For our engagement session, I told Jen the kind of setting I wanted, and she suggested a beautiful garden that was exactly what I envisioned. Our engagement session was in November 2017, and neither my husband or I are very comfortable with having our picture taken. However, Jen made us so comfortable! We loved all the candid photos she took, and we never felt like we were being forced into uncomfortable poses.
Our wedding day was May 12th, 2018, and we were so lucky to have both Jen and Katie there. We planned to have most of our pictures done before our ceremony, and Katie and Jen were great about getting everyone organized and getting photos done quickly. Both of these amazing ladies are fantastic with using natural light and their environment to create beautiful images. We also have had several of our guests say how wonderful the photographers were the day of because they hardly noticed them there. Jen and Katie did a great job of “staying out of the way” while still capturing all of our special day.
Personally, I find photography to be one of the most important wedding investments, and I could not be happier with JFS Photography. If you’re a bride/groom looking for great photographers, do not hesitate to contact Jen and Katie. My husband and I plan to use them for all of our future photography needs. :) -

All of the details and time they put into each photo was brilliant. I recommend JFS to every newly engaged couple, and couples expecting. I had guests from my wedding use them after seeing my photos. They are reasonable and work to make sure you get all that you are looking for. A few weeks prior to my wedding I had sent jen & lindsay an album i made on Pinterest of all my desired photos and they nailed every single one plus came up with some awesome ideas. They are so sweet and very good at what they do. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Lindsey Sent on 10/02/2017There are not enough words to express how amazing Jeni and her work is. Jeni traveled with her husband to photograph our Jamaican wedding and I could not be more thankful. Jeni was like a ninja the day of the wedding, she was all over the place and captured so many special moments. She even helped sew my dress after it got stepped on! She was prompt and we had a sneak peek the very next day and our full set of pictures quickly! I will cherish the memories she captured forever, the pictures are all amazing!! I recommend her to all of my friends, she is even traveling to NYC to photograph my best friends wedding! We had the pleasure of working with Lindsey & Emily for our wedding this September. They were both phenomenal, and I have no doubt our pictures will be breathtaking (we only have the sneak peaks at the time of this review). Despite the extreme heat, they both went above and beyond to capture our day in every detail. Lindsey was moving at the speed of light, and Emily complimented her very well. I love that they both gave us good instructions on how to pose and where to look, as we are both a little camera shy. Some companies have so many photographers you don’t know who you will get so it put our minds at ease knowing who we interviewed with, was the same person who would do our engagement photos, and our special wedding photos. Even though it was 50 degrees in December, it felt like it was 20 degrees and the kids in the wedding party were not happy. Jen and her assistant did an amazing job making sure the kids stayed happy and even made a baby blanket wrapped around my 4 year old daughter, look like the fluffy wraps we were wearing so she could stay wrapped during pictures and somehow, captured all beautiful smiles in every photo! Jen was perfect for our February wedding. She braved the very chilly weather to get us some awesome photos. We haven’t seen them all yet but the sneak peeks are AMAZING! I love how light and airy the photos are, they are exactly what I wanted. She was very efficient when it came time for all the family photos. My husband has a large family and it went so much better than I expected because she knows what she is doing and has a great system to make sure all the wanted family photos are done. So grateful we chose her for our wedding photos. We can’t wait to see all the photos in a month when she finishes them!! Thanks Jen!! -

Jenn and Katie were nothing short of amazing on our special day! Jenn is amazing at pure photography skills (night shots, group photos, etc), and Katie hits it out of the park with posing. They were both wonderful people to work with for engagement shots as well as wedding day photos. They made my wife and I, as well as the whole wedding party very comfortable to be in front of the camera and caught every special moment. Their photography and editing style is very flexible as well so if you want modern edits, they can make that happen; or if you want classic true colors, they make that happen too! Dealing with them via email was easy and quick, and all questions we had went answered quickly.
Would 100% recommend Jenn and Katie to any friends getting married. -

Lauren Sent on 07/21/2018I chose JFS Photography and Design from their work. Their website is gorgeous. The girls that make up the team are also wonderful. I was in contact with Jenifer and my photographer was Lindsey. Jenifer was knowledgable and easy to get a hold of. Lindsey was fabulous. She was on top of her game, for being one photographer, she was all over the place. I loved her style, and she adapted well to our crew. My fiancé was impressed with her and we both are so excited to see our pictures!
