Easy going, professional and great photos

Jenifer was easy to work with, extremely responsive, planned all of the photos to be taken in advance so we could approve them, and ultimately made the photography portion of our wedding a great experience. She captured great shots and we're very pleased. Highly recommend.

The best!!!!

We are beyond thrilled with Jenifer! I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else capturing our big day! From the engagement shoot, to the unlimited wedding timeline revisions, to the most perfect wedding day, Jenifer was unbelievably amazing. My favorite photographer!

I can't say enough good things about Jenifer and her work. Easily my favorite and most comfortable experience with a photographer. Not only does she get ample (way more than expected) beautiful images, she is adaptable, kind, organized, and a pleasure to work with. We've now hired Jenifer for three different events and we have no reason to look elsewhere. She even managed to capture the joy of my happy baby when he was in the grumpiest mood! I'm so thankful to her for memorializing our special family moments with her incredible photography! Jenifer is the best!

Totally wonderful experience

Jen was amazing. from the very beginning, she was friendly, helpful, responsive, and professional! She really did go above and beyond- from helping me scope out different locations for our first look, to helping me organize my timeline and any answering any other wedding questions I had (even those not related to photography!), Jen was always there for us. We recently got our photos back and they are beautiful! I sent her a text just to tell her what a huge smile I had on my face looking through them- I honestly could not have been happier. She sends a link so you and your family/friends can view them online- they are beautifully organized and the site is super user friendly and easy to navigate. There is an option to purchase through the site as well which is very convenient. We had such a great experience with Jen, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone else looking for a talented and professional photographer (wedding, or otherwise!). Thanks a million, Jen!

Competent, professional, ideal!

My siblings and I retained Jenifer to photograph our father's second wedding. Both bride and groom were not "naturals" at posing and very nervous and self conscious about their age, but wanted classic wedding photos. Jenifer was professional, polite, and efficient. We haven't gotten the full album yet, but what we have so far is superb.

5 stars is not enough!

Not sure where to begin with our experience with Jen Rutherford Photography. Jen is professional, kind, punctual, attentive, thoughtful, unbelievably talented and patient (very), the list is endless. Jen goes above and beyond to make you feel calm and comfortable in front of the camera, and it truly shows in her pictures. We first used Jen for our engagement photos, and we were blown away by her work product, they were stunning. We couldn’t wait for her to shoot our wedding, and from the teasers she sent us, they are breathtaking! We can’t wait to lay our eyes on the whole album because the teasers left us speechless. We would choose Jen Rutherford a thousand times over and will continue to do so for all of life’s most important and special moments. Thank you, Jen, for forever capturing our beautiful love story!

Amazing experience and beautiful photos!

We had a great experience working with Jennifer for our wedding pictures! She is organized, professional, and easy to work with. Before the wedding, she sent along a detailed photo timeline and iterated on it several times to make sure it covered all the photos we wanted and that we had enough time to get everything done. She and the second photographer were efficient and unobtrusive and ensured that we didn’t miss any of the photos we had planned. Our guests also appreciated how she took the time to go to each table and make sure that all couples and groups had a picture.

And we could not be happier with how the photos turned out! Jennifer took a great mixture of formal and candid photos and captured so many special moments from the wedding. We are so glad we hired her and will treasure the photos forever.

Wonderful experience with Jenifer!

I cannot recommend Jenifer Rutherford photography enough! My husband and I found Jenifer for our wedding photography through a friend of ours who had also used her for their wedding. Our whole experience from the start was professional, communicative, and thorough. Jenifer is so easy to work with and both my husband and I, who are usually very camera shy, felt so comfortable in front of the camera with her guiding us. The engagement session gave us a great warm up for the wedding day photos. I plan on using Jenifer's photography services in the future for any events or family photography. Excellent Photographer!

Jenifer is an extraordinary photographer! She is exceptionally talented, VERY professional and a true pleasure to work with. She is extremely organized and thorough. From the start of the planning process to the end of the wedding day, she took the time to listen to our needs and made sure she fully understood our vision for the engagement photoshoot and wedding. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She let us be ourselves and encouraged us to have fun! Her eye and perspective are beautiful and unique all while displaying classic elegance. She works tirelessly on the wedding timeline and reviews it weeks in advance to ensure the couple and their families are happy with the flow of the day. Her communication is excellent! She responds quickly and takes the time to answer all your questions. She leaves no stone unturned. The day of the wedding Jenifer brought her second shooter Jessica who was also very professional and easy to work with. The two were great together and everything went seamlessly during the wedding. They didn't skip a beat or miss a shot! Jenifer's work ethic is unparalleled. During my whole experience from planning to post wedding, Jenifer has been there to answer ALL questions (and there were A TON), review photos, help create thank you cards and walk me through our book selection process. Jenifer will go above and beyond for you!

From our first meeting, Jenifer was super organized and focused on what we wanted from our wedding photos. She had examples of different styles of photos and helped us decide which we wanted. On the wedding day, Jenifer did an amazing job at rounding our family members up so we could have every group photo we wanted (and more!). During the reception, Jenifer got incredible candid shots that we, and our friends, will enjoy for years to come! Overall, if you're looking for a photographer who will put you first and go above and beyond to make your wedding special, then Jenifer is the right person for you!

Amazing photographer and more...

Jenifer was the first person I hired for my wedding. I immediately loved how laid back and flexible she was, not to mention how amazing her photographs were. Jenifer was super accommodating and helped me with so much, from her expert timeline, right down to DJ recommendations. She was genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was a wonderful event for us to remember. On the day of our wedding, she approached everything with a calm demeanor, and got the most beautiful photos. The moments she captured ranged from sweet little intricacies, to blatantly hilarious memories. It seemed like she was everywhere all at the same time. I can't say enough good things about her and I feel so lucky she helped us commemorate our event. It was the best day ever with photos to match.

Amazing photographer; beautiful photos

Jenifer was a wonderful photographer for our wedding. I was stressed out about a lot of aspects of wedding planning, but she made sure I never worried about the photography. From the very beginning Jenifer was highly organized, responded to questions quickly, and adapted to changing plans leading right up to the day of the wedding. My husband and I are not used to being photographed/ posing, but Jenifer made feel comfortable the entire time. We had our ceremony at Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown NJ, and since she was familiar with the venue already she knew all the best places in the park for photos. She also saved the day when the strap on my wedding dress broke! (She immediately knew who to call to bring a needle and thread within 10 minutes.) And best of all, the pictures turned out beautifully, with a super quick turnaround. We cannot recommend Jenifer highly enough!

Highly Recommend Jenifer Rutherford!!

Jenifer is the best in the industry. She was the photographer for my brother's wedding three years ago and I was so excited that she was available for mine! From the engagement shoot to the wedding day, Jenifer was responsive, organized and a joy to work with! If you want someone who will be able to be "stealth" and "get the right shots" throughout the day, you can count on Jenifer. I was so impressed by her day of schedule - we stayed right on track and finished by the start of cocktail hour :) A bonus was that my husband and I were chosen for New York Times weddings and Jenifer's photo of us was featured... I highly recommend her for any wedding or occasion!

If I could give Jenifer more than 5 stars I would! From the moment my husband and I met with her a year before our wedding day I knew working with her would be great. We had a great time getting to know her during our complementary engagement shoot, and when she started helping me organize the plan for photos on the day of my wedding I was in awe of her organization and detail while planning for my special day. Jen added a personal touch to everything that kept me smiling long after the day of my wedding. When I got my flash drive with all of my photos from the wedding it was attached to a beautiful key chain with a picture of my husband and I. When I got my albums she included a small pocket book album too. Jen truly is an amazing person and photographer. You will not regret working with her!

Jennifer is not only an amazing photographer, but she is also extremely professional. We didn't even know she was there - she was quite stealthy! My husband and I got married on Saturday, May 21, 2016. From the first meeting with Jen, I was blown away by her organization, attention to detail, and sweet, genuine personality – three things I absolutely needed from our wedding photographer. (It also didn’t hurt that she was recommended to me by two other brides!). Jen was quick to set up our engagement photos in Spring Lake, and so prepared for our wedding day. From quick responses to emails, to timeline planning, and finally helping us find the perfect locations for day-of photos. Unfortunately, every bride’s worst nightmare is rain on her wedding day, and on my wedding day, it poured. Jen and her assistant threw on their ponchos and got to work. It didn’t matter. She gave all effort to make sure our day was captured and our love was seen in our photos. She kept other vendors organized, and overall, she just blew me away. Not only did I get back 1000+ beautiful photos, I also made a great friend in Jen. Would remember her to anyone! You wouldn’t be disappointed!

Jenifer did an outstanding job satisfying all our wedding photography needs. From initial meetings to get to know us, scheduling engagement pictures, planning for the wedding day, and helping us with product selection, she was caring, creative, and thorough. She also provided referrals to other superb vendors. On the wedding day she was amazing. She was everywhere yet did not interfere with anything !!! Jenifer helped make my wedding day perfect. She is so approachable and organized, everything throughout the day went off without a hitch. She created a detailed time-line for the day which helped everyone remain on schedule and ensured we were able to get all the shots we wanted. The entire bridal party and family enjoyed working with Jen throughout the day and everyone appreciated her professionalism and direction. She immediately saw my vision and more than captured it in every photo. We also had our engagement photos with her and this was the first time my husband or I had ever been professionally photographed. We were nervous we would look very awkward but since Jen is so skilled at giving direction, every picture looked natural. It was great practice for the wedding day. All in all, her work is truly impeccable and I cannot wait to get our album from her. I do not think I could ever use a different photographer.

Jenifer and her assistant Brandi photographed our wedding at the Molly Pitcher on June 6th. Throughout the pre-wedding process, Jenifer was extremely responsive and addressed all of my concerns leading up to the big day, including scheduling logistics for pictures on our wedding day. We met Jenifer when we took our engagement pictures and my husband and I both commented to each other how comfortable we were with her. I sent Jenifer poses that I liked and she managed to catch all of them and more priceless moments on our wedding day and we barely noticed she and Brandi were there. Jenifer was a trooper and went along with my plan for wedding pictures down in Spring Lake before the wedding and even stayed an extra 30 minutes and didn't charge us any overtime. Within 6 weeks of the wedding Jenifer got us our wedding shots and I can't even express how happy we are with how they came out! I would definitely recommend Jenifer to my friends getting married in the area in the years to come. Thanks Jen!

I am in awe at what Jenifer can do. She's an incredible person and a sweetheart. It was so easy to pick her as a photographer after our first conversation. She worked with me from the beginning and offered many suggestions regarding how to photograph the family with our limited schedule. Everything worked out great thanks to Jenifer. One of the bridesmaids remarked that when she was without her cell phone and couldn't get a picture, Jenifer was right there to get the shot for her. I highly recommend Jenifer, especially if you want to be stress-free when it comes to your photographer!

Jenifer is amazing! She was by far the easiest vendor we worked with. She was completely flexible with our schedules, prompt with every email communication and always gave us lots of say on everything from where to shoot through to how we wanted our books organized. But by far the best thing about Jenifer is when she's behind the camera. My new husband and I were blown away. We have never had anyone make us so comfortable and relaxed. She is so easy going and friendly she helped us be ourselves and caught it all beautifully on film. The pictures from our engagement shoot and wedding are perfect. I was thrilled with how many different shots they got, they covered everything, looking through the pictures later was like reliving the day:)

We would both strongly recommend Jenifer to anyone and plan on using her again for any big events that we might have!

Jenifer was absolutely amazing! She is more than a photographer. Early on in our engagement Jenifer was willing to meet with us at a location that worked for us and explained everything in thorough detail. Our engagement shoot with her was threatened by rain however Jenifer remained by the phone waiting for my husband and I to decide if we still wanted to have the engagement shoot. She is extremely flexible! Her prices are fair and well worth the money. Our engagement photos are amazing and our wedding photos are just perfect. I can't stop looking at them! My husband and I are thrilled with the quality of her work. she captured so many meaningful moments. Jenifer is down to earth and very very easy to work with. She was so relaxed on our wedding day that if it weren't for her, I probably would have been way more tense. Jen helped to keep me relaxed. I have already referred her to friends that are getting married soon. Jenifer is a truly talented photographer and a wonderful person. Jenifer was a dream come true! When our original photographer didn't show up, we were devastated. Our videographer said he found a wonderful replacement - Jenifer Rutherford. It was a cloudy morning, but we pulled up to the church, Jenifer was there, the clouds parted and it was perfect; Jenifer saved the day! She didn't know us or our vision, but quickly figured it all out, and was than we could have imagined! She was so laid back, yet innovative, and I cannot say it enough, AMAZING!!! We are forever grateful for turning around what could have been a horrendous day and giving us the beautiful lifelong memories we will cherish.

Photography is such an important part of your wedding day. I can't say enough about Jenifer. She was extremely thorough in all of the planning and made sure to capture every image I asked for. She was creative and commanded our portraits in such a subtle way that everyone in our bridal party felt comfortable working with her (and made sure to mention that to us). Our priest even came up to me after the wedding and couldn't stop raving about how unobtrusive Jenifer and Brandi were.

Throughout the planning process, Jenifer was extremely helpful in planning all the right shots in great locations (my initial plan for photos was affected by a festival in Red Bank so Jenifer suggested other awesome options). She was open to hearing all of our suggestions for photos and incorporated everything we asked for.

Thank you so much to Jenifer and Brandi for making our day easy and effortless. You were an absolute pleasure to work with!

Jenifer was wonderful to work with! She handled my very demanding family with ease and became an invisible presence documenting every special moment of my wedding. The pictures are amazing! I've had so many compliments from family and friends. My only regret is that I only booked her to photograph 4 hours of my wedding. If I could do it again, I'd have her photograph the entire day. I cannot recommend Jenifer Rutherford enough; if you chose to work with her you won't be disappointed!

From the moment we met Jenifer we instantly connected with her. She is very talented in her craft and her work speaks for itself. Jenifer and her assistant did a fantastic job in capturing the entire day of our wedding! The pictures were amazing! There was a great balance of creative and classic photos to choose from. It was very important to my husband and I to capture the fall leaves in the park. Due to the limited amount of daylight hours in the fall, time was a real concern for us. However, we had nothing to worry about. Jenifer put our minds at ease before, during, and after the wedding. She is very organized and set up a timeline of how the entire day was going to pan out. She also gave me a list of things to think about and have before the day of the wedding so I was completely prepared. The church ceremony went a little longer than originally planned, however, Jenifer was able to adjust and roll with the punches to get the job done! Jenifer was very creative throughout everything. We had an wonderful photo shoot at Laurita Winery for our engagement pictures and she created an awesome guest book with those photos. Her turn around on the phones was incredible! She follows up on everything to make sure you are happy with the end product.

Jenifer worked around our crazy schedule and I think went well beyond the scope of her job when it came to helping me with coordinating everything for our wedding day. I am not crazy about having my picture taken and she put me at ease and made every part of it so much fun.

I really can't say enough about how wonderful she was to work with!!!

Jen was amazing to work with! She was so sweet and really made you feel comfortable. We looked at a ton of photographers, and once we met with Jen we knew she was the one. She was very easy to get in touch, very responsive and professional. We gave her a list of "must take" photos at the wedding (and it was pretty intense!) and she was able to get all of them!

She was wonderful to work with and would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great photographer - a photographer is with you ALL day on your big day, and Jen certainly made the day fun and was so easy to work with!

Jenifer Rutherford is a very creative, patient , easy-going, like-able and skilled wedding photographer. She's the best -- and worth every penny. I highly recommend her. The quality of our wedding photographs was a priority for us. We had interviewed four other photographers and did not feel confident in their skills. Then, I asked my photography teacher who she would recommend-- and she recommended Jen to me. I am so happy she did.
Prior to our wedding, we met with Jen a few times to review what was important to us and to explain our tight time frames on our wedding day. Jen exceeded our expectations. She got all the photos taken that we wanted and worked very well under time constraints.
Less than 2 months after our wedding, Jen sent us a link to the 1000+ photos she, and her second photographer, Mark, took that day. We re-lived the entire day through the photos... we laughed and we cried seeing so many special moments of the day captured in the photos. We didn't realize how many picutres she got--because we didn't even realize she was taking them! She's so un-obtrusive.

Before our engagement shoot we let Jenifer Rutherford know that we were a little camera shy and that it usually showed in our pictures. After the first few minutes her relaxed and friendly style had us at ease and we almost forgot that we were being photographed. She was genuine and humorous and put real smiles on our faces. When we left the engagement shoot we were happy and agreed that we liked Jen. But that was before we saw her pictures. Now we love Jen.

Jenifer Rutherford is an artist. She has been blessed with a true talent and an eye for photography. Nearly every single picture she took could have been on the cover of a magazine or framed in a gallery. We were so truly and completely happy with our engagement photos that we knew our wedding day pictures would be out of this world. We stumbled upon Jenifer by accident and are so grateful to have done so! She is absolutely wonderful! After our first meeting with her, and not meeting with any other photographers, we knew she was the one we wanted to work with! A few of my friends had used Jenifer Rutherford Photography for their weddings and when I started planning my own wedding, she was the one vendor I had to have. We didn't even look at any other photographers because I had heard so many great things about her and her work speaks for itself. Jenifer Rutherford was much more than the photographer at our wedding. She was the most organized, creative, passionate, patient, kind professional a bride and groom could ever want on such a special day. From the time we met we felt a great chemistry between us and Jen. She was a very down to earth individual with a passion for what she does. Her talent was clear within the first few photographs we saw. We knew at once we didn’t need to look any further for a photographer.

Her pricing was on par with the industry and she never looked or asked us to commit to more than we could afford. Because of the package we selected we were given a free engagement shoot before the wedding. We jumped at the chance and worked with Jen on setting a date. She was flexible and understanding of our schedules and made the shoot work for both of us.

At the engagement shoot, as well as the wedding, she made us feel comfortable in our surroundings. Letting us do what we did naturally as well as posing us for some really great shots. When our photos arrived for the engagement shoot we were floored. It gave us a glimpse into what we had to look forward to for our wedding shots. And we were right.

Our wedding photos were more beautiful than we could have imagined. They actually made me (the bride) choke up all over again. Not to mention when I shared the website link with my family, my mother called me up to say she cried all over again!!

Her photos told a story and captured the precious moments of the day. They are images we will cherish for a life time and will surely be happy to share with our children some day.

Jen is an exceptional choice for the most important day of your life. She does everything in her power to ensure that you receive everything you’re looking for, listens closely to your concerns and does what she does best, take amazing photographs! But even more than that, you can tell her heart is in each image.

Jen was our photographer and we are so pleased with her work. My husband is a photographer himself and beyond picky-- finding someone he approved and remaining in the budget was a difficult task-- but, then we found Jen! From our first meeting, Jen was professional and accommodating. I remember how she brought at least a dozen full albums to show us that day-- this impressed me as other photographers we interviewed did not understand our request to view complete albums and proof books. Jen is also easy going; she has a great sense of humor and is a great person to have around when you are stressed out. Throughout our time working together, she was helpful and very quick to respond. She would not only answer our millions of questions regarding photography, but would try to help us with any part of the wedding she could. Now, I cannot say enough about the pictures themselves! Jen was the photographer for a friend's wedding years ago in which I was a bridesmaid. I remember thinking at the time, "I will hunt her down if I have to when I get married." Sure, enough, I did.

She's wonderfully creative, kind, patient and I swear, with the exception of the Portrait photos, you never would've known she was there. So unobtrusive, yet she was able to capture so many beautiful photos on such a special day for my husband and I.

We are so thankful that Jenifer Rutherford put together the beautiful story of our wedding day for us to keep! Her creativity and artful eye when shooting was what impressed us the most! She had artistic ability to recognize areas on our farm that created the absolute perfect rustic-farm setting for our wedding pictures. She also managed to shoot so much of the farm's beauty, and intricate detail both outside and inside the house before we even started our pre-ceremony photo shoot!

As we looked through the pictures we were able to see so many moments that flew by on the day of the wedding. Or moments that we did not get to see at all, like my husbands face in the church when he first saw me; all of the flower girls and ring bearers running down the isle, and all of the reception details that made the day special.

Exquisite Artist, Poised Professional, & Truly Lovely Person!!!

While spending countless hours joyfully perusing Jenifer’s photographs of our wedding, my husband, family, friends & I realized something amazing … Jenifer is not just “a photographer;” she is an artist whose “paint brush” happens to be a camera. Jenifer does not just “take pictures;” she gracefully and masterfully captures moments in time – exciting, endearing, tender, powerful, humorous, romantic, innocent, and playful. She possesses an exceptional gift of perceiving patterns of beauty and evidences of sentiment which she skillfully reveals in and through her work.

Having Jenifer photograph our wedding was undeniably one of the best decisions (if not THE best decision) we made in planning our special day. We have been (and continue to be) so impressed and richly blessed by her. We are very grateful to Jenifer for being one of the people most responsible for making our day all that we hoped it would be.

Jenifer is a consummate professional and a truly lovely person. She responds lightning-fast to emails and phone calls in a refreshingly-detailed, and often humorous, manner. (She answers all of your questions quickly and thoroughly.) She is down-to-earth, easy-going, fun-loving, encouraging, and supportive. Jenifer was integral in helping to make our wedding day as smooth & stress-free as possible. She helped to keep me calm & focused, and she concentrated on the details for us!

While accomplishing her work, Jenifer is totally unobtrusive and courteous. When my husband and I first met with Jenifer, she shared some hand-written thank-you notes from previous clients. We chuckled upon reading one client’s comment, “If you were any more inconspicuous, you could rob a bank!” How true this proved to be (regarding Jenifer’s subtle nature, of course. :) During our wedding ceremony and reception, we hardly realized that Jenifer was in the background, near us, or even right next to us!

At the end of our late-afternoon ceremony, my husband and I suddenly shortened the amount of time available for “official” photo-taking (before our reception) by deciding, literally at the last minute, to have a formal “receiving line.” Jenifer smoothly adapted to our change of plans. Upon completion of our greetings (which Jenifer beautifully captured) she politely and adeptly gathered our family, bridesmaids, and groomsmen to take our final group photos in “record time” without even “breaking a sweat.” (I wish we had not ended up subjecting her to this, but her ability flow so easily with the change is evidence of her professionalism and poise – so appreciated by a stressed bride! :)

Jenifer’s exquisite artistry continues to take our breath away. Some of my favorite images are those which Jenifer personally arranged by juxtaposing my beloved “bridal” items (crystal necklace, embellished shoes, sequined purse, printed invitations & programs, antique room key, etc…) with the sculptured stone & leaded glass windows, antique doorknobs, boldly-colored carpeting, and other such striking accents in the castle-like manor at which we were married. For example …

~My lavender pumps with pearl embellishments perfectly poised on eye-popping, scarlet-carpeted stairs
~My sequined purse perched upon a leaded-glass and smooth stone window
~Our wedding rings strategically placed, circling our names, on a copy of our wedding invitation, illuminated by bright sunlight on an antique windowsill in the bridal suite

I marveled at each resulting photo, eager to see the next gorgeous display of my treasured items which Jenifer had created!

It may be challenging to believe that one person can posses all these types of gifts and strengths – artistic, professional, organizational, and interpersonal; but Jenifer has them all – in abundance. You will adore her and her work.

I've known Jenifer since 2004, when I worked in a well-known art gallery in Red Bank, NJ. I met Jenifer when the gallery began to show her work; we would communicate frequently getting arrangements together for her work. Immediately I found Jenifer to be very kind and laid-back, as well as a terrific artist. Soon, I learned that in addition to fine art photography she also does weddings. I had a sister and a good friend getting married the same summer (2005) and I recommended Jenifer to both of them. Jenifer Rutherford is an amazing photographer. She photographed my sister's wedding and 3 years later I wouldn't consider using anyone else. She will include all of the posed shots that you request but she really works her magic with the candid photos. She has a way of blending into the crowd and catching all the important moments as they occur naturally. She photographed my court ceremony, church ceremony and reception. Shortly after she photographed my nephew as a newborn and we hope to have her at our baptisms next. She is now a standard at any important family celebration!

Jen is great. She is creative, talented, professtional and a hard worker. Every time i turned around, Jen was there snapping pics! Even my guests commented on how hard she worked. Needless to say, the pictures were wonderful. I absolutely love them. She made the whole day look like a fairy tale! I wouild highly recommend Jen.

I could not have asked for a better photographer!! Jenifer stayed in touch with me during the entire wedding planning. If I had a question, she was quick to answer it. The photographs are beautiful, Jenifer was able to get everyone together for the posed pictures quickly and the candid photos from throughout the night are fantastic. I love every one of my photos. We used Jenifer Rutherford for our engagement as well as our wedding photos and cannot speak highly enough of her and her photography. Simply put, she’s an extremely gifted photographer, and she’s a pleasure to work with.

I didn’t think anyone could get me to feel comfortable in front of a camera, but Jen’s upbeat and down-to-earth manner made it not only easy, but fun. No matter what, I always felt that I could trust her to make me look good. And I was never disappointed. I can’t think of a higher compliment for a photographer!

Most importantly, we absolutely LOVE our photos. Jen has an artistic eye, and an ability to really capture feelings in her photos, and we wound up with so many great shots that we’re having a hard time deciding which ones will go into our wedding album. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

I would absolutely recommend Jenifer Rutherford. If she has your date available...hire her!

Jenifer is truly a pro in every sense of the word. From our very first meeting, she was extremely nice, patient and reliable. After meeting several others, my husband and I knew immediately that she was the photographer we wanted to work with. Not only were her prices very fair, but what set her apart was that she was willing to work with us in executing any ideas that we had regarding the shoot. Her turnaround time was excellent and she provided our photos in a timely manner. The quality of the finished product overall was exceptional. Jen is wonderful! So easy to work with and very professional!

We wanted a photographer who would take great pictures but not be in everyone's faces...Jen exceeded our expectations. She literally got a picture of every single person that was at our wedding plus breath taking shots of the hubby & myself...and our two babies. She also takes "different" photos which drew us to her the most. For example, for took a black and white photo of my two year old's feet {in her ballet shoes} during the reception. It is truly a wonderful, extremely precious photo. She definitely has a talent in what she does.

Through the whole process she seemed more as a friend taking pictures of my wedding than a stranger. It wasn't awkward or weird at all.

I highly recommend her and I am hoping I get pregnant again with #3 so she can take belly and newborn shots! :)

My husband and I truly loved having Jenifer as our photographer. She was extremely professional and friendly. She provided us with all the information we could possible need during the whole planning process. She was very honest and upfront about each step we went through. Working with her made both of us feel at ease and we were able to have fun and enjoy our experiences with her photographing us. We found Jenifer to be very professional and totally flexible. She was extremely attentive to us and she was so easy to work with, in general. The day of the wedding was somewhat stressful (due to things out of our control) but she was so accomodating and understanding. She really made an effort to help us feel comfortable and at ease. During the reception, we didnt even know she was there...but of course she was always around and never far away from us getting awesome candid shots of us with our guests. We truly loved her!

Jenifer took beautiful, high quality photographs of my wedding day. She was a pleasure to work with and enjoyable to have around on my wedding day. Guests barely knew she was there, yet she caught every important moment of our day. Jennifer and her assistant took so many spectacular pictures that it is really hard to narrow them down into an album. They got every picture we wanted and you never even knew they were there. So unobtrusive, but were present for every special moment we wanted to capture. I would recommend her to anyone (and I do). Worth every penny!!!!

I can't express enough how great Jenifer Rutherford is. I had been to two prior weddings and saw her work and knew that when I got married, I HAD to have her for my wedding. She is down to earth, friendly as well as professional. She was able to catch every important moment and memory from our wedding day from beginning to end. Her pictures are beautiful pieces of art. I couldn't imagine having a more easy, pleasant and successful experience with a photographer. Jenifer was recommended to us by a mutual friend, who is also an experienced live event photographer. She was incredibly sweet and impressively organized from the start. From the scheduling/timeline planning, to choosing the shot list, wrangling family and friends for portraits, and then candid action shots throughout the night, she captured everything we wanted from our wedding experience. My fiance had been hesitant to do a typical engagement shoot, and I am often awkward in photos. Jenifer listened to all of our concerns and made us feel comfortable and confident, providing just enough direction and encouragement. I already recommended her to a coworker whose wedding is coming up this spring, and I plan on recommending many more. Thank you, Jenifer!

A friend had worked with Jen and recommended her, and we were so glad we hired her!

Jen has a wonderful, outgoing personality and is really easy to work with. She was super helpful in making a schedule for the day but also totally flexible - when we decided that we wanted some extra photos and also that we had to be at our reception earlier than initially planned, she was fine with the changes. On the big day, she worked quickly and helped us keep on track, and she also totally bailed us out when it was cake cutting time and we had no idea what to do! (We did not hire a wedding planner.) Our wedding was on a very hot day, so her high level of organization was especially appreciated.

And, of course, all our photos were GORGEOUS. We're very excited to work with her on creating our wedding album - she spends a lot of time customizing images to make everything fit together just so.

When we found Jenifer we knew we had to get her for our wedding. Just seeing the few photos she had online we were convinced she was the best photographer. Working with Jenifer was great! She was very polite and professional the whole time. Her schedule was very flexible and she did everything she could to make sure we got all the photos we wanted her to get. The day of the wedding she was very fun and pleasant to work with. She was also very conscientious of the heat and tyring to get all the shots quickly and to allow us to try and stay in the shade where it was cooler.

The only "downside" was that she was a little bit expensive for us with her packages but we were able to come up with a solution that allowed us to still use her as our photographer. Now we are anxiously awaiting for her pictures to come in I know they will be absolutely amazing!!

Jen's style is completely professional and unobtrusive. My guests didn't even realize that we had a photographer there. Any special requests were quickly attended to and we were completely satisfied with album layout she designed. Jen has a beautiful eye for the artistic elements of any setting. Jenifer is a professional and very talented photographer! I have not received my pictures but my engagement pictures came out wonderful. The way She conducted herself during our wedding and how organized she was before the big day meant everything to me! She put me at ease days leading up to the wedding by keeping in contact and writing up a timeline for me. She made sure to take notes of all the important photos I wanted. I'll never forget on the day of the wedding she asked me if I needed anything and got me a glass of water. That meant a lot to me. I felt she was my friend looking out for me! I would most definitely recommend Jenifer as a wedding photographer!
