Just got married July 23, 2022 and my husband and I are both SO HAPPY we found DJ AJ for our wedding! Everything about working with AJ from the start to the finish was awesome. In the lead up to our big day he was super communicative and gave us the opportunity to outline our vision for the ceremony and reception. AJ always confirmed any notes or details we sent, and as a bride this was very reassuring. He made sure our AV needs were covered to a T both inside and outside of our venue, and the ceremony/ transition to reception was flawless. Throughout the night he kept the dance floor going, and all of our guests kept complimenting AJ and his DJing. He has phenomenal music taste and always knew what would get the people moving! We also really appreciate his energy and persona - every introduction and commentary between events was thoughtful and well done. AJ was professional, fun to work with and best of all, within our price range! I can’t say enough great things about Jeneral Entertainment except that our wedding was fantastic, and I highly recommend their services. -

I hired Jeneral Entertainment for my birthday party back in March of 2022. This is the 2nd time I've worked with AJ. The first time was for my office's holiday party in 2019. He is super easy to work with, talented, professional and very affordable. Looking forward another bangin holiday party! -

DJ AJ was SO friendly, helpful, ORGANIZED, and professional. The questionnaries he sent really helped us prepare for the day. AJ organized 2-3 phone calls before the wedding which really helped us know what to expect from each other, set the tone for the wedding, and get to know each other a little bit! Before the wedding, AJ was so organized and great to work with. On the day of the wedding, he was timely, professional, and exceeded all our expectations. -

I truly do not feel like 5 stars is enough. If I could give 10000 I would. We got married this past weekend and Jeneral Entertainment was the best choice we made. AJ absolutely set the tone of our reception- he knew how to read the room and what songs to play to get everyone on the dance floor- from ages 10 to 80! Not only was he excellent at his job, he is just all around a nice person. He met with us for multiple meetings, asked all the right questions and genuinely cared about our big day. He was dancing out with us! He made the day soooo fun! I truly cannot recommend him enough. Everyone at my wedding told me how amazing the DJ is and they were right! I want to get married again just to be able to work with AJ again. -

My wife and I renewed our vows after 20 years and wanted to have a small intimate event with family and close friends. We had a very tight budget and Jeneral Entertainment worked within our spending range. My family and I are old school and love line dancing. We gave AJ our requests and he never skipped a beat. Old school RnB, soul & line dancing all night! Even my 77 year old mom got out on the dance floor. I'd recommend Jeneral Entertainment to anyone that has a budget yet wants the skills of an experienced DJ. -

BEST DECISION we made for our wedding
AJ and Brian were better than we could've imagined. They played every song we requested and made sure everyone was having a great time which is the most important thing. They somehow were able to go from Polish folk music to Top 40 to Rock to Hip-Hop so seamlessly as we had such a crazy variety of requests for them. They were professional and worked with everything we threw at them, even the live band we had! They are just great people and wish we had something else to hire them for as they absolutely MADE our wedding.
RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Get the uplighting as we had an outdoor wedding in a tent with draping and it drastically elevated the look and pulled it all together. -

So thankful to have crossed paths with AJ and Jeneral Entertainment. Everything from the pricing to the ease of contracting Jeneral entertainment was a no brainer. They were a joy to work with. Looking forward to dancing all night with them again. I referred them to my little sister, she's getting married in Oct of 2020 and she's using Jeneral Entertainment. Top notch DJ service! -

Great energy, on time, and very professional. He helped us build our playlist and timeline for our reception. He even provided music for my wife's bridal shower. Hired AJ for my wedding and it was one of my best vendor decisions! He was completely set up before any guest arrived and perfectly timed the ceremony music. He had our reception lit up with great uplighting and really kept the party going all night long. We recieved many compliments from guests about his set list. He really crushed the song selection and included everything I asked him too. AJ did a great job with the MC duties and hit all the dances and speeches right on schedule as we had planned. We were so happy with our decision in choosing Jeneral Entertainment for our wedding, and I would absolutely choose him again! -

When AJ told me and my now wife that he was a one man wrecking team, we thought it was another vendor giving us a sales pitch. After the event we got countless compliments from guests and family about him! Everything from the music selection to the lighting exceeded our expectations. We purchased the Grand Package, it coved every part of the day, ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. Rates were more than affordable for the New Jersey area! -

A Wedding DJ is a service that you only plan on using once. Like so many others looking for vendors, you really don't know how to go about making a selection. My fiance and I had a consult with AJ and his team member. They made it simple and easy. All planning was done online. We had day of event changes and AJ made it go off without a hitch. Don't hesitate or take a chance on part time companies. -
