Jeannie was an excellent photographer to work with for my wedding! She is very professional and thoughtful, along with being a very talented photographer!
I had to postpone my wedding due to Covid-19 and Jeannie took the time to check up on us and even sent us a care package when the date for our wedding was pushed back.
My husband and I are so happy with how our pictures turned out and I can’t express what a joy it was to work with Jeannie!

Above and Beyond
There is so much to say about Jeannie, both as a professional and as a person. But lets be honest, you just want the facts, so I'm going to lay out the events, how Jeannie handled it all, and why I would recommend her for anyone who needs a professional photographer. Regardless if it's a wedding or any other major event.
1. I had to re-schedule with her before even meeting her, and she had no problem with it. My fiance and I were in the middle of planning our simple courthouse wedding, when his father suddenly passed away. I had to tell all my potential vendors that I needed to cancel our meetings, change the event date, and I would reach out to reschedule. A lot of vendors said a typical sorry, but when I reached out to reschedule our meeting, Jeannie not only remembered me but also, met me with genuine condolences, for myself and my fiancee.
2.Every step of the way I knew she was invested in my wedding. Regardless of size. I was concerned that a wedding photographer wouldn't see my "courthouse wedding", as special as I would. But she proved me wrong. She was attentive, patient (both with my soon to be mother in law and my fiancees' nephews; both under the age of two), and willing to help out in anyway possible. Not just with photography but with those random things that can come up.
3. You get more than you bargained for. In a good way. Jeannie not only is one of the more reasonably priced photographers, does lots of personal touches that not only let you know she's excited to be part of your big day but also get you even more excited. Upon signing our contract with her we received personalized Mr. and Mrs. wine glasses . Along with a wood crafted box engraved with our names and wedding date filled with prints of 10 of our favorite shots. Steps that people who've had bigger weddings told me their photographers never did. Her attention to detail and constant work to make your day the only day that seems to matter is incredible.
4. She works quickly and effectively. She was able to wrangle in a pretty diverse bunch to get all the photos we wanted and some we didn't know we wanted. It was about a month, maybe a little less after our wedding that we received our online gallery. And we loved them all. My husband who is not known for taking great photos, looked natural and happy.
5. Everyone LOVES her. I kid you not. With my wedding being on the smaller scale, she was able to meet every attendee. Every person had nothing but good things to say about her; unprompted. She was personable, respectful, and all around a delight to have on our big day.
If you are debating on meeting with Jeannie as a potential vendor, I urge you to do it. Just sit down with her and I promise you will be impressed. If you are on the fence between her and someone I would call a "big name" in the wedding photography circuit, choose Jeannie. You will not regret it. I haven't. Not even a little.

Jeannie is the best. My husband is a photography snob, but he approved of Jeannie's framing and exposure. She's also very flexible when it comes to travel. She agreed to come up to the San Francisco area for my wedding, and even with the travel her fee was super reasonable. She did me a favor right before the wedding by picking up some signs from one of my vendors and bringing it to the hotel, and on the day of the wedding, she got all the pictures I asked for in a limited amount of time. We were an hour late to start photos, but she got them all in! My husband's family loved working with her so much that they hired her for my sister-in-law's wedding in New Mexico this year. Hire Jeannie as your wedding photographer. Your photos will come out amazing, and she'll always put your needs as a bride first. -

Jeannie and her team are the best!
Jeannie was such a sweetheart! She was very patient with my husband and I. We’ve heard horror stories from our friends and their photographer but we can’t complain one bit about Jeannie. We loved her and her team. Thank you so much Jeannie for being so awesome! -

Fun, energetic, amazing photographer!!!!
Jeannie made our wedding experience amazing!! She got everything I wanted and more. She was extremely friendly to all my guests, everyone loved her. She even came to the hotel before to capture photos of me getting ready. She is all around just amazing, I would never go with another photographer for any other life event! It was a small and intimate gathering and she got all the intimate moments. I am absolutely in love with my wedding photos and glad I have them forever. 100000/10 recommended. -

Jeannie was amazing! She took the time to listen to what we wanted and made it happen. She really cares about getting the best shots and providing what you want. She has a great eye for capturing unique shots that really capture venue and everything it has to offer as well as getting great candids. She is very professional but also relaxed and makes taking photos fun!

Leading up to the wedding Jeannie and her team really took it upon themselves to get to know the couple and a little about their love history. She really gave us the personal feel on our wedding day by knowing names and knowing getting to know our families so she knew exactly who to grab for pictures. She played a big role in my wedding day going so smooth. She assisted with keeping me on my wedding timeline. She was very professional and her communication skills couldn't be better. Her ability to project her voice really came in handy when guest seemed to be lost as to where to go next. The team made sure an opportunity to capture a great moment didn't slip through their fingers. They made sure we got pictures when the lighting outside was perfect. I highly recommend Jeannie and her team for the professionalism and honesty. -

Amazing, Professional, Perfect wedding photos
Jeannie was absolutely amazing to work with on and leading up to our special day. Jeannie is extremely professional and friendly, she has one of those personalities that put you at ease. I can’t begin to describe how happy my husband and I are with Jeannie’s artistry. Jeannie and her team made sure to get every shot we requested. Jeannie is a extremely talented photographer and was able capture us as a couple. You will not be disappointed with Jeannie‘s work. Our photos are amazing and we could not have asked for a better photographer. I would highly recommend Jeannie Mutrais .

Tom Sent on 03/20/2018Jeannie was our wedding photographer. She is so easy to work with because she just exudes happiness. She knows exactly the perfect moments to shoot without you even knowing about it. She gives great direction on how you should pose and she's super fast! And whenever you need her to shoot you with a group of friends she'll drop everything, even her plate of food for you. Also the pictures were very natural to the setting like you were actually there. I am not a fan of those fake looking movie style editing.I think she should charge more so you are getting a great value! I couldn't recommend her enough.

She has great ideas of poses and shots and make you feel absolutely comfortable in the photos. She has an amazing eye for natural beauty and her pictures reflect that. The pictures are natural and bright and are not over edited. She is also efficient! We were pushed for time and she was able to get shots quickly - some we didnt even know she took that captured moments we missed! I highly recommend her!

Jeannie has such a warm and inviting personality - really makes you feel happy, beautiful and excited on your wedding day. Her and her team also made the photography process seamless - we got all the photos we wanted (she's AMAZING at both posed and candids - which we wanted!) and didn't feel like we spent the whole day posing for photos. She has so many great and creative ideas and truly knows how to personalize the couple's experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jeannie Mutrais!
