Fun, Proffessional, Seamless!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ team for our wedding! From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic. Levi, our MC, made seamless and energetic introductions that set the perfect tone, and Josh (DJ Tracktion) kept the dance floor alive all night with incredible music choices. The week before, we went over the type of music and vibe we wanted, and they completely nailed it. The ceremony music was also executed flawlessly. We’ve had multiple guests tell us it was the best DJ they’ve ever experienced at a wedding. They were also very responsive and easy to plan with leading up to the wedding. Can’t recommend DJE more highly!

Love Jimmy Dee!

Amazing experience with Jimmy Dee!! Hired them as a DJ for our after party and it was incredible! Highly recommend anyone that needs a DJ or entertainment for their event in general! Photo booth was awesome and seamless as well!

Nonstop Fun and Dancing

We had the greatest pleasure of having MC Eugene and DJ Chris at our wedding. They were absolutely professional and had everyone on the dance floor! We had such an incredible time. No One Better!!!!

Wow!! We hired JimmyDee for our wedding on 2/24/24 and as I write this review I am still floating from our perfect night!! Our guests NEVER left the dance floor- people were up during dinner because the music was so good! John and Alex knocked it out of the park- kept the party going and kept the vibe at an all time high! I have not stopped receiving compliments about how excellent they were and it is truly my pleasure to recommend them to anyone I know looking for the BEST NIGHT EVER! Thank you again!

Best night ever!

We had Jimmy Dee for our wedding on 10/7/23 and we CANNOT say enough great things about them. They were extremely professional, so fun, and kept our guests dancing literally all night. John was an incredible MC and everyone loved him, the DJ, the sax player, and our technician to help with the Photo Booth. We have friends that are engaged now asking us who our music team was to use them because we had the best night on the dance floor. We cannot recommend Jimmy Dee enough - do not hesitate to book them for your special day!

DJ Marina Del Rey Wedding

My husband and I chose Jimmy Dee Entertainment to host our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. We worked closely with the DJ Josh prior to the wedding and he carefully walked through the process, answered all of our questions and even used his professional judgment to change my mother son song so that it had more impact and it was truly a moment I won't forget so thank you Josh.

Our MC Eugene was the life of the party, got everyone out on the dance floor and brought an electric energy. He also collaborated really well with Josh to make sure the guests were entertained throughout the night. If you choose to have Eugene host your wedding, you will not be disappointed because he truly is amazing at what he does.

Unforgettable Celebration with Jimmy Dee!

Our wedding day was an absolute blast, thanks in large part to the phenomenal team at Jimmy Dee, especially our amazing emcee, Eugene!

From the moment we contacted them, the level of professionalism was outstanding. They seamlessly provided a string trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour, setting the perfect tone for the day. The music was beautifully executed.

Eugene is an absolute rockstar. His energy, charisma, and ability to engage the crowd was beyond impressive. He kept the party going all night, ensuring everyone was on their feet and having a fantastic time. His talent for reading the room and keeping the momentum going is truly exceptional.

The DJ services were top-notch, with a fantastic selection of music that kept the dance floor packed. The transitions between songs were seamless, creating a continuous flow of excitement and fun.

The photo booth was a hit with our guests! It added an extra element of entertainment and provided us with hilarious and heartwarming memories captured in real-time.

Fun all night!

Our DJ from Jimmy Dee kept the party going until the very end! We told our DJ Bill that many of our wedding guests were late 20s-30s so we were aiming for a mix of throwbacks and current pop that would keep people dancing and energized for our after party, and he did just that. Every single song that he played was a hit with us and our guests!

Jimmy Dee also made it really easy to coordinate the night beforehand. We actually had both a band and a DJ, so there were many logistics to consider including set up, ownership of different responsibilities, and avoiding playing the same songs as the other vendor. Jimmy Dee handled this expertly. We told them the situation, and then they handled everything with no issues or help needed from us.

Lastly, we also booked a photo booth from Jimmy Dee. This was so worth it! The backdrop was a cute, neutral white design and the guests had fun signs to hold up. We're so happy we did this!

Jimmy Dee Entertainment

I have attended and been part of countless weddings and I can say with the greatest confidence that Jimmy Dee was the absolute best company out there. To us, the DJ and MC set the tone for the entire evening. We hired the string quartet for our ceremony and they were wonderful. It was the perfect touch to make our ceremony special. DJ JP and MC John were amazing! The knew exactly how to read our crowd and keep the vibes energized and fun all night. Our music was the perfect mix and John was great with interacting with our guests and make the night our most memorable night we could ever imagine. We did not leave the dance floor! Our guests are still raving and so are we! Thank you Jimmy Dee, John and JP for the best night we could have ever imagined.

Amazing Vendor!!

Jimmy Dee was such an incredible vendor for our wedding.

We signed up for a violinist, DJ, MC, and photo booth- all for a reasonable price. They were easy to work with before the wedding, gave us great advice, and their services were immaculate on our wedding day.

The violinist played our songs perfectly. The DJ had our guests dancing all night. Our MC Richie was incredible (many of our guests said he was the best wedding MC they had ever seen). And the photo booth experience was great.

Overall, we were so happy with Jimmy Dee and we highly recommend their services!

Kept the party going all night!!

We hired Jimmy Dee for our wedding in April & I've never had so many people come up to me and rave about the music. Richie and Nick were AWESOME and we had a packed dance floor for 4 straight hours. We had a dance set of all Greek music and Richie really got the crowd going and got everyone excited to join in. I'm pretty sure we had all 200 people at our wedding on the dance floor at one point. Everyone we worked with at Jimmy Dee was extremely kind, professional and reliable - and we could not be happier with the music at our wedding. They took into account our must play songs but also played songs from similar artists and were able to play music that was relatable to people of all ages at the wedding. Would highly recommend Jimmy Dee to anyone having a party!!

Josh & Levi Were Amazing!

Jimmy Dee was great! We had Josh and Levi at our reception in October. I had my final review with Josh before the wedding and he was so personable and easy to talk to. He was super receptive to what type of vibe we wanted and made it happen the day of! Levi was an amazing MC. He kept the crowd engaged and did great keeping the timeline of events going! Our guests danced the ENTIRE reception...just like my husband and I wanted! We are so grateful to them and had a blast!

Soooo happy with jimmy dee

Working with Jimmy Dee Entertainment was a wonderful experience. They were professional, knowledgeable and thorough as details were worked out prior to our event. Josh, our DJ, and Kevin, our emcee, made an incredible team the day of. We credit them so much with the success of our wedding reception. It was apparent they listened to our requests and kept everything moving smoothly along all while also adapting to the room throughout the night. Don't know how they do that. We especially loved when they noticed a lot of kids on the dance floor while parents were eating and kept them entertained. If you want to feel confident that the party will be kept going without having to worry about it being over the top, this is the best team!!

Amazing DJ!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Jimmy Dee! My husband and I hired their DJ services for our wedding, along with live ceremony music and a mobile photobooth. From the start, we were impressed with their professionalism and organization. They offered us several opportunities to explain our vision for the wedding, our musical preferences (and dislikes), and the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create. We were blown away with their ability to keep the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception organized. More importantly, our DJ played a mix of music that kept everyone at the wedding happy and on the dance floor nonstop (seriously-at one point we had almost all 170 people on the dancefloor at the same time). Our friends and family still, 3 months later, talk about how awesome our DJ was and was a fun party we had (as testament-my husband and I both danced so much that our feet were fully numb for 48 hours after). Would recommend to anyone searching for a DJ!!

The best of the best!

Over the top!! Eugene was the MC at my daughters wedding this past weekend and I have to say he far exceeded our expectations. Tons of praise from our guest that this was the best DJ they have ever seen. His personality shined through from beginning to end and his ability to get everyone pumped was simply amazing! Best part of our wedding!!

JDE made our wedding a HIT! Everything was so flawless from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Bill from JDE had everyone (young & old) on the dance floor for the entire reception and did a fantastic job as our MC. After our first zoom call with Bill, we knew we were in good hands because he acknowledged our every request, gave fantastic recommendations based on his experiences, and talked through how he's handled scenarios where things have gone "wrong" at weddings and he managed to still make it the best party ever. We had SO many relatives telling us the next day what an incredible DJ he was and that it was the most fun wedding they've been to.

Absolutely amazing!

We chose Jimmy Dee for our wedding and it was the best decision we made! I was a bride who interviewed TONS of DJs to ensure I was selecting the absolute best and I was one of those crazy, perfectionist brides lol From our very first meeting, we were impressed with how much Jimmy Dee Entertainment had to offer-from photo booths, to live musicians to event rentals. We worked with Alex who was very patient and met with me as many times as I requested because again- I was a crazy bride who had to discuss every little detail lol When the wedding day came so many of my guests said the DJ was AMAZING (which I agreed). Everyone was on the dance floor all night and never wanted to get off. 3 weeks later people are STILL telling me how awesome my DJ was- I did my homework when selecting a DJ and I can guarantee you Jimmy Dee will do an outstanding job for your event!!

Brought our party to life

Hiring Jimmy Dee was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning they were so flexible to work with with and super responsive. But the way Eugene (our MC) got everyone in the bridal party pumped up before grand entrances and kept the energy up the entire evening with the help of our fantastic DJ JP really blew us away. From the first dance dance all the way through to the last song of the night the dance floor was jam packed and everyone had the BEST time. We had our guests coming up to us all evening and even the next day asking us where we found our DJ and MC and raving about what a fun party the whole reception was. We can’t recommend Jimmy Dee Entertainment enough to any bride and groom looking for high energy fun entertainment for their wedding!

"Best Wedding Entertainment Ever"

If you want to have an amazing time at your wedding....you MUST have Jimmy Dee! From the very beginning, they were the most amazing partner. Even as we navigated through planning a wedding through COVID, they were extremely understanding and willing to work with us through everything! They connected with us several times leading up to the day to discuss what they have been seeing at other weddings, and were ready to make the day everything we dreamed! Then on the day, we couldn't have been more pleased. They kept our guests engaged, entertained and energized! Specifically, our MC Eugene, was AMAZING! I want him to follow me around and be my permanent hype man! Every single one of our guests came up to us to say that it was the best entertainment they have ever experienced at a wedding! Made Magic Despite 2020

I was so excited to have Jimmy Dee as our DJ for our May wedding. Working with them from the beginning was great and I had nothing bot confidence that they would do an amazing job. Then we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. First I wanted to state that the team proactively reached out to me to check-in before I had to reach out to them to tell them the new plans - I loved this about them.

We did decide to move forward with a smaller scale wedding in August and were told last minute that our venue would strictly limit dancing to only the traditional first dance and father/daughter, mother/son situations. I debating if even having a DJ/emcee would be worth it and thought of doing without but am so glad I decided to keep this aspect. They really did make magic happen despite everything. Josh knew exactly what type of music to play throughout the wedding even though people were only mingling and eating. And the emcee was still so energetic and wonderful when needed. I could only imagine how great things would have been if we were able to have the full dance party.

worth every single penny

Corey absolutely KILLED IT at our wedding. It felt like we were in a club and all our friends and family were constantly on the dance floor. A word of advice: do not go to them with a huge list of requests. They are professionals and you have to let them do what they do best. Our guests keep telling us what a great time they had dancing and partying and we owe it all to Jimmy Dee. Vinny was our MC he was also great. Photobooth was also a hit and we highly reccomend the confetti cannon! Thank you corey & jimmy dee for giving us our dream wedding!

Best Day Ever!

One of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process was booking Jimmy Dee Entertainment and having Richie as our MC! We couldn’t be happier with the way our wedding was handled from start to finish. Richie was absolutely amazing and kept the party going all night long. The dance floor was never empty! All of our guests absolutely LOVED the photo booth and we are so thrilled to have those pictures so we can keep reliving that night all over again! The best entertainers around!

I have been at and apart of a ton of weddings and these guys are the best entertainers out there! The DJ JP and the MC Danny were beyond everything we expected and more! Danny captured everyone's attention and made my wife Alexandra and I feel like the most important people in the world. They were classy and knew how to throw a party. Their song choices were a perfect mix of old school and new school for everyone to get on the floor and dance to. The sparklers for our first dance was the icing on the cake! You can hear everyone gasp when they turned them on. I can sit here for hours letting you know how great they were but I recommend if you're looking for the best party that you just book them and not worry anymore about who to choose for your DJ.

Best DJ ever

Hiring Jonny Dee was the best decision we made for our wedding. Nelson was wonderful deal with throughout the entire process. He was a great MC/DJ!! He kept the energy high and played music for every guest. We had people dancing the entire night. The dance floor was never empty. People couldn't say enough good things. Our dance floor was packed all night!

Hiring Jimmy Dee was one of the best decisions we made when it came to our wedding. Vinny (our MC) and Cory (our DJ) were an incredible team. Vinny used his professional knowledge and experience to guide us and respected the atmosphere we envisioned for our reception. Although we provided a long list of song requests (which Vinny accepted graciously!!) he and Cory added their own songs that complemented our set list and the result was an all-night dance party that had our guests up the whole time. Cory even checked in with us during our reception to see if we had any other requests/changes--of course, we had none! Our guests said we had the best DJ they'd heard at a wedding and most of them were sober because they didn't want to leave the dance floor to get more drinks! We are so thrilled with Jimmy Dee and the incredible atmosphere they created for our wedding day. It was such an awesome, fun night that we will never forget!

Richie was phenomenal! He was spot on with everything! Our ceremony music was perfect! The entire staff at Jimmy Dee was friendly, informative and helpful! They were reasonably priced and exceeded all our expectations!!

Richie DJed our wedding and it was absolutely phenomenal. The energy he brought was infectious and everyone was dancing the entire time. People were even on the dance floor during dinner when the food was out!

Richie was great to work with, helpful, attentive and always available for us. He made us extremely comfortable throughout the lead up and the night of the wedding and we recommend him to anyone looking to have an extremely fun wedding that you’ll remember forever.

"That DJ was awesome!"

My wife and I are thrilled with how our big day went, and that was largely due to NELSON of Jimmy Dee Entertainment. We had a little mix up with booking JDE, but ultimately Nelson came to the rescue. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!
Nelson did exactly as I specified, and went above and beyond. I'd like to say he hit all my special requests, but I honestly don't know or care because ultimately, I had too much fun to notice as the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night! I do know he remembered to play my parent's wedding song after dinner, which got the slow dancing going, followed by more and more upbeat dancing! He also heard my suggestion of having two songs to close, as I suspected he would get the encore at the end! It finished off the evening on a fun note. For those that didn’t leave exhausted from having so much fun, the others left wanting more party!
My aunt said to me after, “if you didn’t have a good time, it was your own fault.” Those that said, “you have to get a band” left saying, “that DJ was awesome.” Go ahead and reach out, you won’t be sorry you booked. You da man Nelson!

Absolutely phenomenal.

I took my time planning my wedding and found Jimmy Dee Entertainment about a year before the set date. From the first meeting with Josh, who we ended up asking on the spot to be our DJ, they were wonderful. The energy, excitement, and kindness shown were outstanding from day one and continued through the whole process. Josh was more than willing to find ways to accommodate health restrictions and help us through the song selection process. We still have guests coming up to us weeks after the wedding to talk about how wonderful the playlist was.
Nelson, our MC, was also incredibly kind and did an amazing job getting everyone up and dancing. Even managed to get people who never dance at weddings up all night!
We had a photobooth that was attended by Andres who also did a phenomenal job. All of our guests had a lot of fun and I have already received my pictures from him.
I cannot stress enough how amazing everyone at Jimmy Dee Entertainment was. From in person, to e-mails, to phone calls over the course of a year, Jimmy Dee Entertainment never failed to impress.

The absolute best

We had the pleasure of working with JimmyDee Entertainment for our wedding (DJ, Photobooth) this past weekend. We had the absolute best time and don't think any of our guests left the dance floor the entire evening. Our families and friends have told us they have never had so much fun or danced as much as they did at our wedding. The photo booth was a great addition and our guests loved their printed out photos. I could not imagine our wedding reception without JimmyDee and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to have an outstanding party.

Everyone had a blast at my wedding!

My husband and I are so glad we went with Josh and Vinny at Jimmy Dee. They got everyone up and dancing right away - barely anyone was sitting down at their tables throughout the whole night! They really got the party pumping through a good mix of music and great lighting. They were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend!

Danced the night away!

From start to finish, Jimmy Dee was AMAZING. They were there when we kept changing our minds, they made sure everyone danced the night away from disco hits to my request for electronic music. They hit every mark. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect music for their wedding day.

Our daughters wedding was held on 15Sep18. A friend suggested Jimmy Dee for the entertainment. We saw them in action at The Best Of Westchester and were very impressed. When we met with Richie, he assured us that he himself would and could make our event extraordinary. He was 100% correct.
Our daughter, who LOVES to dance, was so very afraid that Traditional dances and speeches would interfere with "HER" dancing. Richie who was the MC and Dave, the DJ assisted by Nick, managed to accommodate both camps. The tempo was set early and maintained to aid and assist the wait staff with food service while allowing our guests to dance. It was obvious that Richie et al were masterful of their craft and know how to keep a party moving. They were set up in such a manner as to be front and center while blending into the decor so as to not be overpowering. They were impeccably attired as expected and polite and professional to all.
The Grandparents dance, Parents dance and few speeches were accommodated and worked into a complete party plan which Richie orchestrated.
Jimmy Dee Entertainment was a great choice and we couldn't be happier.

This past weekend we got married. This was a 2nd wedding which we held at home overlooking our 7 acres of land. We held the wedding outside in a tent. From the moment we met J.P. Soricelli we knew he was the right DJ for our wedding. We explained the vibe we wanted and he got it! We chose rock and roll, disco, dance and reggae music. J.P. played what we asked for and was able to assess the crowd and keep everyone on that dance floor all night.
When we met with J.P. he suggested soft music for the wedding procession. He then gave us this great idea of when I (the bride) walked down the aisle the music would change from typical wedding music to MC Hammer, "Can't touch this". Our guests cracked up and it added such a light and festive feeling to our day which is what we wanted. This was a 2nd wedding and we wanted a chill type feeling. J.P. totally understood that. Loved his idea. Everyone thought he was an awesome dj. He came over to our home a couple of weeks prior to the wedding so he could get the feel of the environment. He is smart, personable and he knows his craft. He is an awesome dj and we would definetely hire him again. What a pleasure he is to work with!

Overall amazing, absolutely zero complaints with this company!
Had Nelson MC our wedding and he met and went beyond our expectations, working with us on the fly in some instances.
I cannot recommend Jimmy Dee Entertainment and Nelson enough to anyone out there looking for a top notch entertainment.
Kept the party going all night long and kept everyone on there feet and interacting which is what we were most nervous about. He made the night that much better for us!
Hats off to you guys, you really know what you are doing

My husband and I chose Jimmy Dee Entertainment for our wedding on June 29, 2018. I worked with Nelson over the course of wedding planning. Nelson was knowledgeable and kind. He answered all my countless questions and made sure the wedding music was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. He added in all the songs we requested and made sure our guests enjoyed the evening through music. I've have many guests contact me to tell me how great the music was throughout our wedding.

We had Nelson as our MC and Corey as our DJ for the evening. They both worked incredibly hard to make the night wonderful. I would highly recommend Jimmy Dee Entertainment for your wedding or special event.

We have used Jimmy Dee for many occasions because they are the best! Last week was our daughter’s wedding and they( Richie) did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. The most important thing was that my daughter and her husband had the time of their lives. I highly recommend Jimmy Dee!

Richie was great. He stayed in contact with me regularly prior to the wedding to make sure everything was all set. The reception was awesome, he really encouraged everyone to get up and dance. It was a great night for everyone!

DJ Nelson from Jimmy Dee couldn't have been better. It was the first time I have seen a MC/DJ have every single person at an event on the dancefloor. It was constant entertainment with Nelson, he had everyone involved and really made sure every last person was having a good time. Our DJ James was great! He was very easy to work with, made sure all the details about the music lists I submitted him were taken care of. I used Jimmy Dee for my wedding on May 18th. I worked closely with Vinny and Corey. Both were funny, professional, patient and easy to work with. My husband and I really just wanted our guests to have a good time and dance. Corey and Vinny certainly did not disappoint! We had a list of songs we wanted played at our wedding, but also said other songs could be mixed in. Vinny and Corey knew how to keep the crowd going! Jimmy Dee is not only affordable, but great entertainment. You will not be disappointed!

Jimmy Dee Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding. My husband and I wanted to have a subtle, classic introduction into the reception, gave a list of "must play" artists, and requested specific "do not play" artists. We also changed up the order of the bridal party/parent introductions and chose nontraditional songs. Nelson (MC) and Danny (DJ) were the dream team. They honored everything we requested, and had the dance floor full all night. Communication leading up to our wedding and throughout our wedding night was excellent, as Nelson checked in on us several times to make sure we were happy and let us know when speeches, dances, and cake cutting were coming up. We had an unforgettable night and Jimmy Dee was a big part of that!

The whole booking process was simple and Corey took the time to meet with us several times to make sure he understood what we were looking for and what our expectations were. Vinny and Corey performed the entertainment for our daughter's wedding. They were fantastic. Everyone was engaged and delighted! Dance floor was hopping all night! Also hired the photo booth and the attendant was wonderful and engaging. Couldn't have asked for better!! Thank you for a wonderful night!!!! You did not disappoint!

We were so happy we used Jimmy Dee the minute the music started at our reception for our wedding - their music choices were great & kept the dance floor full ! We gave them a list of some songs so they knew what we liked but they also threw in their own jams which totally jived with our group. Our MC John was great and really got the crowd involved too - but not too much in your face which was exactly what we wanted. We actually had another DJ booked originally but that didn't work out so less than 3 months before our wedding we were able to book Jimmy Dee and they were so professional & great from the very start! We had been to 3 other weddings where they provided DJ and luved their music there so I thought we would be in good hands but you never know.. until you do!! Thanks again John & Corey for making our wedding so spectacular and memorable!!

I HIGHLY recommend booking Nelson for your wedding! From our very first meeting with Nelson he was very personal, outgoing and fun. I was so worried about the style of music that I wanted but Nelson showed me samples of the kind of music he would play and I instantly knew we had found the perfect DJ! He took the time to make sure we had all our music figured out up until the day of the wedding. Our wedding guests are still talking about how much fun our wedding was and how they have never danced so much! We were worried since our dance floor was separate but Nelson still managed to turn the entire dance floor into a party, he had everyone out of their seats the entire time dancing the night away. I honestly can not say enough good things about Nelson, he truly made our wedding day so special and SO much fun, it would not have been the same without him!!!! When my fiancé and I started planning our wedding we knew we wanted an updeat, dance-focused reception where people could really let loose. After we chose our the location of our wedding, Jimmy Dee was recommended as a music vendor by our venue. We set up an initial meeting with Rich (our emcee for the evening), and described the vibe we wanted for the ceremony, for the cocktail hour, and for various parts of the reception. Rich told us he had it covered and knew exactly what songs to play to create the atmosphere and party that we wanted. The result was absolutely spectacular. Every single moment of our wedding had a perfect soundtrack. During the ceremony Rich (and his team: Dave and Keith, who were also incredible) provided our officiant with a microphone, and was perfectly on cue with each of the songs that we had chosen. Everything was above our wildest expectations -- Rich was able to nail the vibe we wanted for cocktail hour which we only described as “emotional folk.” The cocktail hour was elegant, calm, and relaxing. Moving into the reception, Rich turned it up in a big way and kept our guests dancing from 5:45 PM to 10 PM. He broke the night up into multiple sets and played a variety of different but fitting music in each set. Almost every single one of the 150 guests we had at our wedding remarked positively about the music, many telling us it was the best “dance wedding” they had ever been to, or that it was the best “music selection” they ever heard. Another guest remarked that this was “the first and only wedding, I’ve ever danced at, and the first wedding in a long time where I stayed til the last song.” Not only was the music perfect, but Rich was an awesome MC introducing many of the different aspects of the night. Looking back my fiancé and I both agree that, along with picking our venue, choosing Jimmy Dee was the most important decision we made in creating an amazing wedding experience. We would HIGHLY recommend Jimmy Dee for any event!!

Everything about Jimmy Dee Entertainment was fantastic, especially NELSON. When we had our consultation Nelson met with us and went over EVERYTHING!! From start to finish he helped develop a perfect ceremony and an outstanding party! He LISTENED to us and was able to create a night that was a little bit of the groom (country) and a little bit of the bride (city). He called me a few days before the wedding to make sure that nothing had changed and went over everything again just to make sure everything flowed and we were happy. All our guests danced all night, the dance floor was packed and everyone complimented the music. Nelson and his crew were top notch, full of energy and really got the crowd going! Music was on the top of my list for vendors. As a teenager, I worked at my local wedding venue where I first met many of the MC's and DJ's. As a teenager, I made sure I booked them for my senior prom and I of course booked them 10 years later for my wedding. Working with JP was so amazing! He was completely involved with mapping out our night from beginning to end, choosing our music selection, and even accommodating my family with speeches, announcements, and other traditional aspects. The night of, I could not believe that the dance floor was NEVER empty. JP knew exactly what songs to play and how to ensure every age group danced the night away. Our guests are still talking about how truly amazing Jimmy Dee Entertainment was at our December wedding. From our initial consultation to the very end of our wedding, the staff at Jimmy Dee were professional, energetic and went above and beyond. Nelson was our MC and I cannot even begin to tell you how truly amazing he was. My husband and I met with him for our final meeting about a month before our wedding and discussed all the things we wanted for our special day. Nelson surpassed our expectations by far. He knew exactly what songs to play when, how long to play each song, and how to cater to our crowd that ranged from young adults to my 92 year old grandmother. Every person was either singing from their seats or dancing on the floor throughout our entire event. He engaged with the crowd to get them hyped and excited, and truly made my husband and I feel like the stars of the show. Literally, our night was perfect because of Nelson and his fantastic staff. I cannot say enough good things about them and personally know that a number of the engaged people at our wedding have reached out already because they were so impressed and in awe of how great our entertainment was.

Nelson and Jimmy Dee were a pleasure to work with while planning our wedding, and they truly made our night! After meeting with Nelson, I knew immediately he understood the vibe I was going for for our wedding reception. Needless to say, the music was exactly what we wanted. Our guests danced all night long. Nelson touched base with us throughout the night to make sure everything was going perfectly. He is professional, talented and passionate about what he does. Our guests could not stop raving about Jimmy Dee, and I've been asked multiple times for Nelson's info since our event. Unrelated to the music, it can be very difficult to make appointment with vendors with the crazy schedule I have as a nurse. Jimmy Dee has flexible office hours and I had no issues making an appointment that worked for us. Thank you Nelson for your amazing MC/DJ skills and for the great memories! We will certainly be heading back to Jimmy Dee four our next event.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice in using Jimmy Dee Entertainment. Our MC, Richie, and his team were amazing. Our number 1 request was that we wanted everyone to be up on the dance floor and having fun all night long. That's exactly what happened...everything was just perfect!! The music kept everyone up on the dance floor, having a blast! My husband is originally from Ireland, so we had a lot of people from Ireland here celebrating with us...Richie and his team played just the right amount of fun Irish music...even my non-irish family/friends were up dancing to it! All our guests LOVED the photo booth too, and we are so thankful to have all those fun pictures. We also asked Richie to help us create our Wedding Song Mash-Up, which included two versions of our song put together. He was more than happy to help us with this, and it came out beautiful! We will forever be grateful to Richie and his team fro helping make our wedding the best day ever!

Choosing Jimmy Dee Entertainment was the easiest part of our wedding planning. We had gone to another wedding were Nelson was the DJ and had an amazing time so we knew he was the one we wanted to DJ at our wedding. From the first time we met with Jimmy Dee Entertainment, we felt comfortable and that we were in good hands. Nelson was amazing to work with! He listened to all of our requests and really got a sense of our vision for our wedding. We had a few of our own special requests for the night (bagpipers, cousin's doing a rap for everyone) and Nelson was so accommodating. The night flowed so perfectly and the music was great. We got so many complements and our guest said they have never seen so many people on the dance floor the entire night. Thank you Nelson for making our special day so much fun!

BEST experience everrr Nelson was amazing from the day we met him!! He had everyone on the dance floor from after our first dance til the last dance of the night. I got calls the day after the wedding stating how amazing our dj was! I got asked several times who they were so people could either use hem for their wedding or their kids wedding. They really were simply amazing and made our night a night to remember !

SO happy we chose jimmy dee as our Dj for our wedding ... the amount of calls I got to say how amazing our wedding was and how the dj was incredible made us so happy. They always had people on the dance floor from introduction to the end of the night. I had 3 people even call me to ask who the company was for their weddings and their sons wedding. NELSON was the man we knew he was the man the first day we met him!!!! He made our night a night to remember !!

Hands down the BEST place to go for a DJ. Nelson was superb!!! I was very picky and knew immediately that Nelson was going to make my wedding. I had high standards and he went above and beyond with it. He’s charming, sweet and extremely knowledgeable in his craft. He reads the crowd well and made sure the dance floor was always full. I have a divorced family and was at a lost in how their introductions should be and he had multiple options for me which made me feel grateful. I am Puerto Rican and my husband is Irish. He did beautifully with mixing our two cultures and still keeping it with today’s music. Everything ran smoothly. Everyone arrived early and their was never any issue. Also had lighting and tv screens with them. It was great! I was obsessed with my gobo lighting. Save yourself a headache and search no more. Nelson and Jimmy Dee are the way to go! Also had my photo booth with them and I’ve already received my photos. Clearly my guest had a blast!!

Nelson was the best MC we could ask for. He was attentive to all our needs and wants. He and staff made the day so memorable and allowed us to remain completely carefree and able to enjoy the moments! Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Jimmy Dee Entertainment was a great choice for us on our wedding day! We were so happy to have Nelson, and he did a phenomenal job. Our guests were up and out of their seats almost instantly and it feels like we were always on the dance floor. When my husband and I were making our rounds, we would hear a song and want nothing more than to be with our friends and family in the middle of the dance floor. Nelson listened to what we wanted and did a great job accommodating us and our families. Thank you so much Nelson!!

Richie was fantastic! From start to finish they planned such a specifically perfect ceremony and party. He made sure it was not like every other wedding and our guests all told us how unique it was. The music was amazing and Richie has such great energy. The floor was packed all night and everyone was dancing. We are so lucky that we went with them, they just MADE our wedding.

I had an absolutely amazing wedding and the reception couldn't have been any more fun thanks to DJ NELSON and Jimmy Dee Entertainment. Nelson worked with us to make sure he knew our tastes and styles in music, asked about special songs or announcements for our families and really made us feel comfortable with him being in control of our special night. Once we got to the party everyone immediately made positive comments to us about the music, the lights and the professionalism of the DJs. Their gear looked great and they really put on one heck of a show! People were upset they had to sit down to eat!! DJ Nelson and his boys kept us jumping, dancing and smiling ALL NIGHT LONG! He made the biggest night of my life the absolute best it could be and I am truly thankful to him and Jimmy Dee Entertainment.

I am so happy we chose Jimmy Dee Entertainment to use for our music and entertainment at our wedding. Nelson was our DJ and MC and met all of our expectations to make sure the night was filled with great music and dancing. He could not have been more on-point with the songs that he played and knew exactly how to read the crowd. All of our guests could not stop dancing and they had a blast! Nelson was also very responsive to all of our questions and e-mails and gave great suggestions. You will NOT be disappointed and we HIGHLY recommend Jimmy Dee, request Nelson!

We chose Jimmy Dee for our wedding 09/15/17. And we could not have been more pleased with the experience from beginning to end. Richie (our MC) was recommended to us by our venue maitre’d. From our very first appointment, Richie was fantastic! He gave us a great price for the package we chose and just made us feel so comfortable! At our final appointment we had an issue with not needing the tvs anymore and Richie was very accommodating. He removed the tvs from our package and took money off the final payment! He could have simply said, this was the package you chose and it can’t be changed but he didn’t! The night of our wedding, Richie and his team did a fantastic job!!! They played the perfect mix of music, Richie kept the crowd on the dance floor and even managed to get my husband on the dance floor, granted it was only for one song lol but my husband is NOT a dancer, he will not be caught dead on a dance floor. But that night he made an exception thanks to the atmosphere the Jimmy Dee team created! We also had the open air photo booth (highly recommend)!! It came with an attendant that did a wonderful job assisting our guests with their picture taking and making sure the copies of the pictures went in our scrapbook (that was provided by Jimmy Dee) There are not enough words to describe how awesome Richie and the others made our wedding night! All I can say is, hire Jimmy Dee and you will not be disappointed!

We chose Nelson from Jimmy Dee Entertainment to DJ our wedding on 9/8/17, and it was hands down the best decision we could have made!! Throughout all of our meetings and conversations with Nelson leading up to our big day, he was kind, professional, and extremely patient with us in ensuring we were going to hear all of our favorite music that we wanted to hear at our wedding. Not only did Nelson really listen to us and deliver on what we wanted to hear, but he absolutely killed it as an MC throughout the night as well. Nothing corny, no gimmicks, just the real deal DJing and MCing for our event. He completely transformed the vibe of the night and had every single person up on the dance floor. I can't even describe how many people were saying how amazing he was and how our wedding was the best they'd ever been to, and hands down the most fun. It was exactly what we hoped for and then some, and all because of Nelson. Even DJ skeptics who are hard-core live band enthusiasts that were at our wedding told us how impressed they were with Nelson and how amazing of a job he did. My husband and I could not be happier with Nelson and our decision to choose him and DJ Jimmy Dee for the most important day of our lives! My only complaint is how sore my feet were from dancing all night long!! Truly the best there is and I would highly recommend him to anyone for any special occasion. Nelson is the real deal and we are so grateful!!

We we're incredibly over the moon with Nelson, he is very professional, but very friendly. He was willing to do any last minute changes in songs or in your reception.
When we first sat down with Nelson, I was nervous about what types of music to play. He was very reassuring, he helped pick out great stuff for everyone and everything. Nelson kept everyone on the dance floor all night, I couldn't have asked for better!
We also used an open air photo booth from Jimmy Dee's, it was worth the money. Everyone used it at least twice If not more and loved it.
We would definitely recommend Jimmy Dee, our family and friends have used them and so should you.

Jimmy Dee was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. The whole crew and office has such a welcoming, caring attitude. From our first appointment to the day of, Vinny and Nelson were very easy to get in touch with while planning our wedding. Nelson was so accommodating and helpful for two people who had no idea what we wanted! His suggestions were great and he was willing to do anything we asked. We had an amazing time and as did our guest. Nelson had a way of getting everyone on the dance floor and we are so happy we chose them =]

We recently had Nelson as our DJ on August 18th and he was the best dj ever ! He got everyone up off there seats. We literally had everyone on the dance floor. We had a incident where the fire alarm went off during our first dance and Nelson acted quick and turned the music up. He handled it pretty well so we were able to still enjoy our dance. Thank you Nelson!!

We had an excellent experience with Jimmy Dee for our recent wedding. JP was our DJ for the night, who we first met at our cousin's wedding and thought he did an amazing job. Before our wedding, we filled out questionnaires about how we wanted the flow of the night as well as specific requests. On the day of the wedding, JP and his team made sure everything was perfect. He kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He came up to us multiple times to make sure we were happy with everything and if we needed anything. He exceeded all of our expectations. Highly recommend!

Wonderful night with JP. The selection of music was exactly what we requested and he handled the transitions between songs perfectly to ensure people kept dancing ! He was great . He added uplights for us and we even had a singer doing background vocals! This DJ was great. Very upbeat and perfect for a wedding!

We hired Corey and Vinny for our wedding on 7/22/17 and we could not be more pleased! Our wedding was better than we could have imagined and still have people telling us how awesome our wedding was and what a blast everyone had. I gave very little guidance in terms of music (just no country) and the music they played was perfect and had the dance floor packed the entire evening. At one point my husband even crowd surfed! My friend getting married next summer is now hiring Vinny and Corey as well. Highly highly recommend!!

Look no further than DJ Nelson!! Because of Nelson, the party did not stop the entire night! He captured my wedding vision perfectly and kept the floor packed the entire night. So many people made comments after the wedding about how much people were dancing. Nelson expertly blended both Italian and jewish traditions, he offered great advice when it came to processional and entrance song selections, and ultimately created a night that I will never forget. Neslon was our MC and he was TRULY AWESOME!!! He listened to our needs and wants, even had great suggestions for songs for the bridal party/cake cutting/etc. My husband and I had plans to do a special dance, and Nelson was more than accommodating- making us a sample so we could practice at home. We ended up changing our song the week of the wedding and Nelson was so amazing during the whole process. He was great to work with!! Nelson kept the crowd going all night long, ensuring that everyone had a great time and stayed on the dance floor. He made sure to incorporate our special requests on songs we wanted played during the night as well. He did an AMAZING JOB!! THANK YOU NELSON!!

Jimmy Dee handled the music for our wedding in January and they were extremely professional and well-prepared. Nelson was our DJ and emcee, and he went above and beyond to deliver an outstanding reception. While we had a few song requests in particular, we really left it mostly up to Nelson, and he came up with the best playlist, including sets that appealed to everyone in attendance. He kept the party going without being obtrusive, and his timing was perfect regarding his music choices and emcee duties. There was not a single moment that was anything less than impeccable. Both during the wedding, and upon watching our video later, it was evident how much the attention to detail and perfectly timed song choices and moments contributed to the overall effect. He is a true professional. I would highly recommend Jimmy Dee, and Nelson in particular, for your wedding.

The entertainment provided by Jimmy Dee for my recent wedding on June 4th was incredible, as expected. We have used Jimmy Dee (specifically Richie as the MC) for three separate occasions, including my wedding as the most recent, and the entertainment is always amazing. They really know how to get guests on the dance floor, play the best music, and make the party come to life! I would never use anyone else for our parties and highly recommend this team - you will not be disappointed!

Used Jimmy Dee for our 6/17/17 wedding at Hollow Brook Golf Club & so so happy we did !!!! So many of our guests texted me the next day to tell me our DJ & MC were awesome !!! (We used Corey & Vinny) They were so professional - kept the dance floor going the entire night - and remembered all of my requests. They absolutely MADE our wedding what we wanted it to be - a blast! They also have worked with Robbyn at Hollow Brook Golf Club quite a bit which made everything smoother since they already knew each other. I would suggest Jimmy Dee to anyone looking for an awesome DJ/MC!

Jimmy Dee is awesome. Vinny and Corey are the best djs ever. They really know how to read a crowd and our guests were so happy. They couldn't stop talking about how amazing they were and how they didn't want it to end. Everyone should definitely use them :)

Richie and his co workers listened to everything my husband and I wanted. We wanted to dance the whole night and Richie made that happen. Our guest were always on the dance floor. Best dj company out there.

Just book this DJ! Our guests danced from the minute they walked in to the wedding until the last dance was announced. They were absolutely awesome and worth every penny! We used their photo booth also, which was a huge success. You won't regret having this company do your wedding. We hired a DJ and Emcee which could not have gone better. The Emcee also played percussion with along with the songs the DJ had going. They weren't too loud, so people could still talk at tables. This was very important to us. They nailed it and totally rocked the house!! The price I paid was for DJ, Emcee with percussion, custom GOBO, screens for slide show and dance floor simulcast and photo booth. Well worth every penny. Much less expensive packages are available.

We had been to two weddings that hired Jimmy Dee as their DJ...and specifically Richie to perform the reception. Each time it was a great, great party...so naturally, we didn't even consider another DJ. We went with Jimmy Dee and specifically requested Richie. We got the basic reception performance and uplighting.

Richie was absolutely great. It was the great party we were expecting. We even had certain specifications that they were able to help with...no hesitation. We needed a microphone a good 100 yards out into a field - well away from the house - for the ceremony and they supplied it. The Bride/Mother dance song needed it's tempo slowed down...they slowed it down. The Groom/Mother dance song needed to be faded out at a specific time...they did it. They played the specific snippets of specific songs that were requested when the Best Man and Maid of Honor were introduced for their speeches. Our venue had two side by side rooms, one for dining and one was the dance floor - they kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening. We were not an easy client and they got everyone absolutely right.

Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you Richie and the Jimmy Dee staff.

Seriously... The absolute best! DJ Nelson was the MC/DJ at my wedding and I am so glad we went with Jimmy Dee. These guys really know what they are doing and know how to keep a party moving and alive. They had me and my guests dancing all night! I told DJ Nelson what I wanted and he helped me capture it. All of my guests were so amazed by the wedding and the DJ. Everyone has an amazing time. I can't believe how many compliments I got the day after my wedding. They were so easy to work with and always responded so prompt. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or any other event in which you need a DJ/MC. DJ Nelson killed it! We loved using Jimmy Dee Entertainment for our wedding April 28th ! They were really just fantastic. We had them booked for over a year and with every phone call they made you feel so comfortable. The staff for making appointments and confirming where great. We worked with JP he was fabulous ! So down to earth, easy to work with, professional, and fun. The night was just perfect between JP and his Rory on DJ. Music never stopped - really made it easy for everyone to stay on the dance floor. Made the night one we will never forget. We also had the photobooth which was a great hit and allowed us and our guest to have fun and create more memories. Hands down one of the best and easiest choices we made for the wedding. Awesome experience and would use them again and definitely recommend them 100 %

Jimmy Dee was amazing! We planned a wedding in three months and when we first sat down with Corey, he talked to us for over 3 hours and explained everything from music to photography to videography. We walked out and just knew we wanted them! We saw videos of the MC's so we were able to see which personality would fit our wedding. We had Cory DJ and Nelson MC. From the very first song until the last the dance floor was packed! All my husband and I wanted was a big party and that's what we had. We got married last week and we're still getting calls to say how awesome the music was! I would recommend them to anyone. They were continuously coming over to us to make sure we were having a great time. Thank you for making our day as wonderful as it was!
