  Best ever!

  We had the pleasure of working with JC Guzman as our photographer at The Houdini Estate, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and brought such positive energy to the day. His photography skills are truly amazing—his attention to detail, creativity, and editing style exceeded all our expectations.
  
  Not only did we love his work, but everyone at the event did too! He made everyone feel comfortable and captured the most beautiful moments effortlessly. On top of that, his pricing is very reasonable for the level of quality and professionalism he provides.
  
  We are beyond happy with the results and will definitely be reaching out to him for all our future events along with recommending him to every single person we know! If you’re looking for a talented photographer who delivers stunning photos and an amazing experience, JC is the one to book!

  Book him now!

  What can I say about JC other than that he is the BEST!!! He has such a great energy at all times, an instant friend. His eye and talent for beauty is something I’ve never seen before. The way he captures light and emotion is so rare, and I think that only very few photographers have “it,” but he has all of it!!! Brides, he will make you feel beautiful in those photos! Grooms, he will make you feel like a million bucks too!
  JC captured all of the moments I had hoped for AND MORE because he sees what we don’t. He set up a photo slideshow for us mid-reception, and it was really special. He didn’t have to do that, but he did, and it was a hit! Soon enough, everyone was crowding around the screen, ooh-ing and ahh-ing, because every photo was more beautiful than the last. I’ve never seen a wedding celebration stop for a photo slideshow—EVER. I’m pretty sure he sent over the sneak peeks the night of our wedding, which is amazing because I am eager to see more and this is tiding me over!
  Additionally, my entire, gigantic family LOVED him, even my dad who loves nobody. Hahaha. He is so fun to work with, we appreciate him so much, and we are all so impressed. They are some of the most beautiful wedding photos I’ve ever seen, and I only have the sneak peeks!
  JC is kind, professional, and always shows up. He worked with us through two postponements in 2020, and he worked with us when our venue needed vendors to provide negative COVID test results. We are so grateful for him, we would absolutely hire him again, and I’m telling all future brides I know to go to him!

  Amazing Photographer

  JC has to be one of the best photographers you can find. He was so flexible throughout all of our covid date changes. When we decided to have a micro wedding at home, JC found the most amazing hidden gems around our neighborhood as a backdrop. JC even sent us a Sneak Peak of our wedding photos the very next day. I will be reaching out to him any time i have photography needs!

  Our wedding is not until May 2019 but JC shot our engagement pics and came to our rescue after a bad interaction with a previous photographer. He truly is a gifted, passionate and natural photographer. We are certain that our wedding photos and memories will last a lifetime and more with JC!

  JC Guzman was absolutely amazing! He made my wedding day so extremely special, with getting perfect pictures, as well as mingling with guests. I highly recommend him for any event!

  JC is the best photography! I'm sure you all know and may be experiencing how overwhelming and stressful planning a wedding can be... I was recommended looking for months for a photographer that I felt would capture us, that worked with my budget, that offered other services, that was just a rad person haha. Then I was recommended to JC! Not only did he exceed my expectations as a photographer, but he also recommended the djs (which ended up being great)! I can't express enough how worth every penny and then some hiring JC was! I would highly highly recommend him and his team! Thanks JC ??

  JC did the most amazing job at photographing our engagement sessions as well as our entire wedding day from the first curls in our hair to the last dance of the wedding. He is incredibly professional, makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and he is really funny.   Great photographer, horrible professionalism

  I have a previous review where I gave him five stars. However, I am now updating my review because my wedding was July 7, 2024, and it is almost August 2025 and I still have not received our photos. I have texted him and called him several times and I have not gotten a response. I got a response one time and he said it would be ready in one week. He told me this several times this is the third or fourth time he promised me it would be ready in one week and it has been a whole year and I am still expecting my photos. He’s a really friendly guy and really fun to work with during the wedding, but this is super unprofessional of him. It shouldn’t take 13 months to edit some photos, and if you promise a date three times, you should keep that promise. Still expecting a response and our photos.

  The reason for our rating is because our wedding was in October and we have barley (it’s the end of June) received our photos, and still waiting on the video. We have reached out countless times to no avail, or to promised dates and receive nothing when the date finally arrives. It took a bit of persistence to finally hear back from him. The quality of work is amazing, Jc was super nice and really easy to work with. I am very disappointed at how he responded to our situation, which was very little. Please take caution when booked with Jc and make sure you are consistent in going over the contract with him.

  Haven’t received photos!

  My wedding was in September of 2022. Our contract stated a 5 month turn around time. Here we are in August 2023 and I still have not received my photos. I got a sneak peek but not the entirety of the photos over 10 months later. I have attempted to contact him through email, Instagram, snail mail, ect…. No response after multiple empty promises. To make it more tragic, my husbands best man has since passed away and we are even more desperate to have these photos back. Instead I have been completely ghosted!

  complete breakdown in communication

  We were so looking forward to hiring JC for our wedding as we had been following him on social media for years. Unfortunately, when it was time to book JC missed our consultation and asked to reschedule 30 minutes after our consult was supposed to start. But still we wanted his services...when we finally had a consult, JC was supposed to send over the wedding timeline we had created during the consult and the contract to book his services the next day after our consult. He failed to do so, so we waited a week before reaching out. He said he would send that night however nothing came through. we waited another week before reaching out again and this time he did not answer. We were forced to move on and find a different photographer. Additionally, JC told us we wouldn't get our wedding photos back for 5 months after our wedding. The whole situation was unfortunate and we were so disappointed.

  My fiance hired JC to do the photography and videography of his surprise proposal for me on December 15, 2017. We were told our photos will be ready within the week, which they were, and our video would be ready by March 27, 2018. We thought three months was a long time for a proposal video, but we agreed and we stayed in touch via Instagram messaging and email between December and March. March 27 came and went and JC did not deliver the promised video... what's worse, he stopped answer any of our messages or emails. When I tried to call several times, there was no answer and all voicemails were left unanswered. It is now April 29, 2018 and I have lost all hope of getting this video. The saddest part is that my finace included my doggo, Zipper, who passed away in January 2018 into our proposal and really wanted the video of her and our last days with her, which was captured by JC. At this point, I don't know what to do anymore or how to get this video, but I am very disappointed in the level of service, lack of professionalism and communication, and I would like the video or a refund of my fiance's payment for JC's services. Update: 6/26/18- uploaded screen shots of convo w/JC, another promise of the video being ready by the first week of June... and still no video. Please see insta JCGuzmanPhotos to see proof
