    Jelena is a Genius!

    Jelena did the flowers for our wedding last summer, and she truly made my vision a reality! I had always dreamed of a floral wall at my wedding, but what she did was better than I could have even imagined. Not being very educated in florals, I had an overall idea of what I wanted, but didn't really know exactly what that was. She was so good about showing me different options to see what I liked and didn't, and also guided me to be sure that the florals would be appropriate and what would be within my budget. When I walked into the room for the "first venue look" I was blown away. It truly was like I was stepping into my dream wedding. She somehow knew exactly what I wanted, even though I couldn't describe it. She was so helpful throughout the entire process, every question was answered quickly which really helped to alleviate some of the wedding planning stress. She is amazing and we could not be happier with her work!!!

    Absolutely Incredible – Jelena Is the Planner You Want!

    Hiring Jelena was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I booked her partial planning package, and from the very beginning she went above and beyond anything I expected. She spent countless hours with me perfecting the overall vision, walking through décor ideas, and planning out every detail of the timing for the day. Her professionalism, calm demeanor, and deep wedding experience made the entire process feel effortless.
    Jelena was also our florist, and the flowers were breathtaking. The entire venue looked absolutely stunning — beautifully coordinated, thoughtfully arranged, and exactly what I had dreamed of. She truly brought the vision to life in a way that exceeded anything I could have imagined.
    On the wedding day, Jelena handled all setup and tear-down seamlessly. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Everything appeared magically in place, ran smoothly, and was packed up at the end of the night without me even noticing.
    If you’re looking for someone who is professional, experienced, incredibly talented, and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, Jelena is the one. I cannot recommend her enough!

    Jelena is amazing

    From the first moment we met Jelena, we knew she had to be a part of our wedding. Though we originally had intended to have her take care of the flowers, some life circumstances lead us to hiring her as our wedding planner and it was the best decision we could have made. She had the vision and helped everything come together for a bride that was undecided on so many things. She helped us navigate the important aspects that we didn’t think of, connected us with amazing vendors and she was always available via text for random questions at all hours. More than that, she helped create the most amazing and beautiful wedding that we didn’t even know we wanted, but couldn't imagine it being any other way now that it's done. I would recommend her to any bride looking for help to make the big day perfect. She made sure the bride and groom had the best day, and took care of all the last minute chaos without breaking a sweat. If you don't need a planner, you must have her do the flowers. To say they were stunning was an understatement. I will forever be grateful to her for everything she did for us to make our wedding day an absolute fairy tale and a dream come true.

    What a wonderful wedding, thank you Jelena!

    We booked Jelena for both flowers and for her partial planning services and were so, so happy with both. While planning the event, she was happy to put us in touch with potential vendors, all while making sure we were ticking things off the to-do list at the right schedule. The rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all went off without a hitch, and Jelena was always on hand, always on the lookout for anything that might go wrong, and made sure that everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when. The week after the wedding, the event coordinator at our church asked us to send her Jelena’s contact info because she was floored by her eagle-eyed attention to detail and competence, and wanted to be able to recommend her for other couples. The “master timeline” she put together for the day of was my particular favorite service she provided. It broke the day down into five minute blocks explaining exactly where people needed to be and when, from us arriving at the church at 8am to get ready all the way to the grand exit and cleanup at midnight.

    For flowers, she worked with us to make sure she knew exactly what flowers, colors, and styles we wanted and where. I think I learned more about flowers in our consults with her than in my previous 30 years of life combined.

    All in all, I can’t recommend her enough!

    JBK Weddings & Events makes your Fairytale dreams come true!

    If you want sanity and an amazing vision for florals for your wedding, look nowhere else! We found JBK Weddings at the Seattle Bridal Show in 2019 and were amazed by her fairy-tale aesthetic at her booth! We actually won a raffle to get a discount on her day-of-coordinating services and upon meeting, she gave us the reality check for our budget. She was thorough to explain the average costs, what we could get, and what we were asking, and provided vendor suggestions which was extremely needed and appreciated. This was how we knew we could trust Jelena with our biggest day of our lives - she was also genuinely excited to be a part of our wedding. Any meeting we had with her - we were always jazzed! Since we had to postpone twice (thanks pandemic!), we decided Jelena would also be our florist. As two brides, she carefully catered our bouquets to our aesthetics and personalities which we truly loved and she communicated with us our plan and floral plan every step of the way. Leading up to the wedding, she also saved the day when we had issues with our recommended make-up artist and managed to smooth our walks with our family and bridal party during rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, when it came to the venue decor, she made our vision for a fairy tale wedding come to life! (look at these photos!) She also made sure we were brought plates to eat during the reception and kept the showing going. People kept coming up to us to tell us how amazing Jelena was keeping everything coordinated and how beautiful the floral decor was. She's THE best!

    Attention to detail and the sweetest personality

    There's so many good things to say. I'm not sure where to start! Jelena was the sweetest, kindest, and most helpful with ALL the things! When I say ALL, I mean everything! Jelena was hired to provide our flowers and her day-of planning services for our wedding, but she was so much more. She listened to my frustrations and fears and provided guidance by letting me pick her brain from day 1, not just the month leading up to the wedding. Jelena kept great communication throughout the entire time! Her attention to detail is impeccable!! The decorations were absolutely beautiful, and the extra touches of rose petals and the candles in front of our table were absolutely gorgeous! We also had succulents included in our floral arrangements, and Jelena took the time after the wedding not only to gather several for me to plant at home, but even helped by taking all the floral tape off, packaged them with care, and provided tips on how to plant them. And, one of my most favorite parts was... during cocktail hour, my husband ended up with makeup from a guest on his tuxedo. Jelena noticed immediately and jumped into action cleaning it with a wet wipe. Something small, but it truly is these little things that made all the difference and made our day as perfect as could be! We are so blessed to have found Jelena 💜 (more pics to come when we get them!)

    Jelena is a wedding planning & floral dream team!

    I’m so thankful we had the opportunity to work with Jelena at JBK Weddings & Events for both wedding planning as well as floral design. Jelena helped us figure out our vision for our wedding & so calmly & eloquently brought it all together. Her recommendations for DJs, photographers, make-up & hair stylists, and cake/dessert bakers were perfect. On the day of the wedding, we didn’t worry about anything…literally anything…as we knew we were in great hands with Jelena as well as with all the wonderful vendor recommendations Jelena provided. After the wedding, many people commented on how well the event was executed & how they could tell that Jelena was in control of making it all happen so seamlessly. If you’re not sure you need a wedding planner and/or floral designer, trust us, you do…and Jelena is the person you want ‘leading the charge’ on one of the biggest days of your life. The peace of mind and calmness we felt on our wedding day allowed us to enjoy the event & be in the moment. In our minds, that is irreplaceable.

    Best Decision Ever

    Jelena made the whole planning process so easy for my wife and I. From the meetings and walkthroughs ahead of time to the week of coordination with our other vendors, we could not ask for a better experience.

    JBK will make your dreams come true!!

    Jelena was a dream to work with. Super responsive, great communication and strong understanding of what I wanted. When our plans changed and I wanted to change up the color scheme, it was no issue. When I needed to change the order amount, again no issue. She handled it all with ease. Another aspect, I respected and appreciated so much was she worked with my budget. I have never placed a large floral order, and was not sure what I could afford, she was clear and adjusted things to make it work for us. I was OBSESSED with our flowers! It was the best money we spent, I could have looked at them all day long. I can't recommend her enough! Based on her portfolio she has a wide range of skills and she is able to create what you want. I can't thank her enough, or recommend her enough. Truly a great vendor to work with! #dreamteam

    Excellent floral designer

    Jelena did my bridal bouquet, our arch arrangements and boutonnières. She excelled at creating my vision, and got the bridal bouquet down to a tee! She was responsive and easy to work with. Would highly recommend for floral design.

    Best money we spent

    You can have the best caterer, dj, photographer and wedding party but if you can’t get them all coordinated, something is bound to go wrong. Jelena will make sure that doesn’t happen. What she will do is make sure your day is as stress-free as possible and that you can focus on having a good time. What are you waiting for? The reviews speak for themselves. Her work and attention to detail was worth every penny and we could not recommend Jelena enough. Our wedding was everything we wanted and if something went wrong, we didn’t know about it. From the minute we met her, we knew she was the right planner for us. Once we handed over contact info for our vendors and wedding party, Jelena completely took the reins and made sure everything was handled. And, she’s super cool and prepared for everything- we needed some last minute dress fixes as well as had a guest that needed some outfit repairs after dancing too much. Jelena was there and took care of things fast and discreetly. She was so easy to work with that it almost made me nervous that we weren’t stressed. She’s a rock star and I will definitely use her for my next wedding!

    Truly Great Floral Designer and Day-of Coordinator

    Jelena Krzeszowski of JBK Weddings and Events provided the perfect floral design for my daughter’s wedding, creating the desired look and feel while respecting our budget. Jelena was also the ideal day-of coordinator. She spoke and met with my daughter and the on-site event coordinator repeatedly, ensuring that all planners were on the same page and that the bride’s wishes were clearly understood. Jelena also produced an easy to understand timeline for the bridal party and the families.

    During the rehearsal, Jelena lent her expertise to the flow of the ceremony. Then, on the day of the wedding, Jelena masterfully managed the floral arrangements in the ceremony and event spaces, including “curtains” of greenery that required a ladder and some level of gymnastics. Her expert timing ensured that she would be available to the bridal party, supplying encouragement and assurance, as well as Band-Aids and moleskin for blisters caused by new shoes.

    Throughout the wedding day, Jelena impressed me with her ability to accommodate the schedule shifts that take place because folks will be folks with confidence and grace. At the same time, she kept everything moving along so that key moments, such as the cutting of the cake, toasts and first dance, occurred without hurry. The balance she achieved allowed the bride, groom and their families to simply enjoy the day.

    Jelena was amazing and made sure our day went off without a hitch. Highly recommend and worth the money!! She was extremely attentive and even helped do a last minute hem for the grooms pants and set up all the center pieces. She was a joy to have and her energy was great. There were so many details that she made work with no stress at all. again, HIGHLY recommend.

    Jelena and her team did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers. Initially when we met with her we didn’t really know how much and what kind of flowers we envisioned. Jelena worked with us to come up with a design that matched our taste, budget, and preference. Jelena was hardworking and professional and helped us out even though we had many last minute changes. The end product was absolutely gorgeous in its simplicity and I had multiple people saying how much they specifically loved the centerpieces and amazing garland she made for our gazebo. We thank Jelena very much for her patience and creative talent and we could not have been happier!

    JBK flowers were amazing! Jelena did my wedding bouquets and boutonnières as well as the flowers on the archway, that once at the venue, she set up and did beautifully. She delivered the flowers on a Sunday and the price for all the flowers was very reasonable! Highly recommend if you need flowers for your day going with Jelena!

    I 1,000% would recommend JBK events. We hired her for our day of coordinator, but the amazing thing was she did SO MUCH more. She met with us multiple times and called regularly to check in. She went above and beyond just the day of coordination.

    She has so much knowledge about how to best schedule the timeline of the day. Because of her recommendations and attention to helping make the timeline, our wedding went off seamlessly.

    She also has worked with so many vendors, so recommended the best vendors to work with for catering, DJ, hair/make up, etc. We felt like because of her we got to work with the best of the best.

    Anytime I had a question she was super easy to contact the whole year of planning, either by text, phone, or email. She was always calm and confident in fielding all of my questions. You get a sense from her that she truly enjoys helping you.

    The day of we actually had her assistant, her sister Danica, because Jelena had another wedding. Her sister has a totally calm presence and I was surprised at how confident she was in the details of our wedding, since I had been working with Jelena the whole time. Danica made for a super easy wedding day because she handles all the details and you just get to enjoy it! She knows what you need before you even ask, like being right there to hand your groom and you a glass of water or plate of food. She also did all of our set up of decorations so we didn't have to worry about that, as well as helped in cleaning up.

    I've told friends that are getting married that the one thing you should invest in is a good wedding planner. I'm certain the year of planning would have been way more stressful without her knowledge and guidance about how to organize a wedding.

    I didn't know anything about flowers, except that I wanted the wildflower look. She is also a florist so ended up doing my bridesmaids’ bouquets, groomsmens’ boutonnieres, flower for my hair and my bouquet. They looked incredible.

    Leading up to the wedding I thought I could handle everything myself with some help from friends. After talking to a bunch of other brides who were in similar spots but ended up hiring a day-of coordinator I realized it was possible they knew better than I. They all said it was the best money they ever spent. And so I took the plunge, did some research and got some recommendations. A good majority of those were for Jelena. When I saw that some of the other vendors I was already working with knew her and really respected her I knew I had found my gal. And boy were they right. She was incredibly professional, on top of everything and thought of all of the details. We had a wedding with around 100 guests and she ensured it felt like the most intimate gathering for me. I was able to 100% focus on the day and enjoy myself and my friends and family and didn't have to think once about the details of the day. She was prepared for anything and everything. Her advice leading up to the day was incredibly helpful as well. She's got a serious background and has seen everything to when she has an opinion it's rooted deeply in experience. I listened and our day was better for it. Seriously the best money I spent.

    I found jelena at the seattle wedding show. Idk how I got so lucky. I’m the shy type but I knew exactly what I wanted in a wedding. She helped make it a reality. If you think you don’t need a planner/coordinator, think again. She was prepared for the unexpected. She works hard to get the details perfect. Worth every penny...

    Hiring Jelena to create the flower arrangements for our wedding was such a fantastic decision. I had very rough ideas about what I wanted, but Jelena was able to hear those ideas and create something tangible from them which really speaks to her talent. She understood the overall vision for the wedding and was able to put together arrangements that really spoke to that vision. Firstly, communicating with Jelena was very easy. She was always prompt, always informative, and always happy to make changes and answer questions. She took a lot of care to understand exactly what we were looking for. Secondly, and I cannot recommend this enough: let her have creative freedom. I gave Jelena a color scheme and a shape for my bridal bouquet, but that was basically it. She knows SO MUCH about flowers and their season, what price they'll be, how long they last, whether they'll pop in photos, what textures and colors work together etc. etc. that letting her pull from her knowledge and taking advantage of that really set our flowers apart. Thirdly, she stayed in our budget and was very clear about pricing for each piece. We didn't have a huge flower budget, but she made sure to stay within it and never pushed to increase it. Fourthly, her knowledge and experience as a wedding planner and coordinator really came in handy. We got married at Thornewood Castle, and she already knew the space very well and knew what she could do to make both the ceremony and reception areas full and beautiful. Lastly, her work is just beautiful. Really, we had so many people commenting on our flowers and asking who did them. The quality of her work is outstanding. I've never seen more beautiful arrangements in my life.

    All this to say, we are so glad we found someone as talented as Jelena. And on top of all her talent, she is a wonderful person who was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her.

    Jelena and her assistant are rockstars! We are so happy we picked JBK to be our day-of wedding coordinator. Jelena is an experienced wedding planner with great connections and insight to the industry.

    Although we only booked her as a day-of, Jelena went above and beyond. She reviewed all of our invoices, recommended vendors, and reviewed our wedding timeline. On the day of, she gracefully balanced being a go-to resource for our vendors and my husband and me.

    Jelena was professional throughout the entire process and truly was always a phone call away. She even stepped in to be our emcee on the day of the wedding. Thanks, Jelena, for being our sounding board and a great wedding coordinator!

    Jelena was amazing! She made sure our vision for the wedding happen! You will not be disappointed in hiring her. She was the best investment we made!!! Here's why!
    1. DAY OF SERVICE
    I initially only hired her for the day of coordination service. Her pricing was very reasonable and after talking with her about my wedding plan, I could tell her experience would prove invaluable! Her communication was great before hand. She even went with me to my venue to discuss what we wanted to do, which is more than just day of coordinating. During the ceremony, she not only did everything I had already mentioned, she also made beautiful roses for my hair and averted a last minute disaster by sewing me into my dress!!! I really could not have been as care free and enjoyed myself as much as I did without knowing she was there, taking care of everything!!
    2. FLORAL/DECORATIVE
    Wow!!! If you haven't seen what she can do yet, then you should look into it! Like I said, I only initially hired her for day of service, but as the day approached, I found myself in need of a florist! She not only did my bouquets, she also did the grandparent flowers and an exceptional large buffet centerpiece as well as really amazing table decorations. I am sad I don't have a picture focusing on it, but she created an underwater centerpiece. There was wheat and rocks, and then she filled it up with water that covered the wheat and had floating candles at the top-stunning!!!
    3. QUALITY OF HELP
    Again, mentioned earlier, Jelena went above and beyond, meeting with me when I needed and coming with me to venue walk thrus and discussion. She had an answer for every question and when things went wrong she offered helpful ideas that made it work!

    We don't know what we would have done without Jelena on our wedding day! She was recommended to us by our venue and hiring her as our day-of-coordinator was the best decision we could have made!

    Jelena was very professional, responsive, organized and had a very calm demeanor throughout the entire time we worked with her! She kept us on schedule and helped us with our wedding day timeline and contacted all of our vendors. She even went above and beyond and came to our meeting with our reception venue to help with the table layout and floor plan.

    Jelena outshined herself on the wedding day! Right off the bat, my nail broke in half and I had a complete meltdown. I called Jelena not knowing what to do. After about 30 minutes of her trying to find an open nail salon and use her connections to get me an appointment close to where I was getting ready, Jelena called me and said she found someone that was able to travel to my hotel room to fix my nail!! Jelena even came to my hotel room earlier than anticipated and made herself available to help with anything and everything. She even stitched some of my bridesmaids' dresses for them. During the ceremony and reception, Jelena was always there to make sure things went as smoothly as possible and that we stuck to our timeline!

    Jelena also served as our florist! The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and the centerpieces were stunning! We had so many compliments on the arrangements and the colors!

    I do not know of anyone else that would have gone to the lengths that she did to make my wedding day as happy and as stress-free! I highly recommend Jelena for your wedding planning and floral needs! Thank you so much JBK Wedding & Events!!

    I met Jelena at The Seattle Wedding Show and happened to win her day of coordinator services from the raffle she was offering at her booth, which was the best thing I could have possibly won.

    Jelena was completely organized, detailed, professional and calm. Every time I felt like I was going to lose my mind she was right there helping me put it back in its place. I had an inebriated wedding guest who took it upon themselves to swing me around like a rag doll and pop the back clasps of my wedding dress off (yes, yes, this happened friends!) Jelena was right there with her wedding tool belt pinning my dress back together so I could enjoy my night. Jelena was always one step ahead of the situation being thrown at her and it was just the best lifeline a girl could have ever asked for.

    Jelena also has an excellent book of vendors that she works with who are also extremely helpful. Her connections in the industry made it easy for me to book rentals, work with lighting specialists, DJ’s, Photographers, Videographers…etc. She truly has an extensive knowledge base of all things weddings in the Puget Sound. The owner of my wedding venue loved working with Jelena so much that she took the time to write me the nicest email after the wedding was over to let me know how much Jelena helped the venue staff out and what a pleasure it was to work with her.

    Jelena also did all my floral needs for the wedding. Her floral work is spectacular and reasonably priced. I had so many compliments throughout the wedding about how beautiful the flowers were and people wanting to know who did my bouquet. Working with her on flowers was so simple and painless.     I do tons of brides (hair & make up), and have shared Jelena with many brides. She is a pleasure to work with. She is professional & knows a ton about all things weddings and events. Her floral work is unbelievably beautiful. She helps brides be frugal and organized for their big day.

    Personally I have used Jelena to organize parties and baby showers and she makes the events beautiful, fun and less stressful.

    I have used Jelena with JBK for many different events. She is multi talented. She has done the flowers for my business for 2 years, I hired her to plan and do my daughters 16th birthday and we just hired her for my sisters wedding.
    She is fast and efficient and so much fun to work with.
    Her attention to detail is amazing. Her flowers take luxury to another level. I love that she is always bringing new ideas and isn't afraid to try anything.

    Jelena was simply amazing and definitely the best choice we made during our wedding planning. Originally, we hired her to do the flowers for our wedding and then after a few months we added on day-of-coordinating. Jelena immediately understood our vision and was so flexible and helpful throughout the process. Not to mention all the beautiful decor items she has to rent, I seriously felt like a kid in a candy store! And the flowers...they were simply amazing! Better than I could have imagined. She saved us so much stress on the day of and our wedding was prefect, flowed beautifully, and we didn't have a worry in the world. I would highly recommend Jelena as a florist and wedding day coordinator.

    Jelena was the best investment we made in our wedding - hands down! We hired her for DOC, but she ultimately helped us find a caterer (who was willing to travel at a reasonable cost), did our flowers for both the wedding and rehearsal dinner, and gave us great advice from the moment we hired her! She was exceptionally professional, responsive, organized, funny, helpful - she was AMAZING! Everyone at the wedding was so impressed with her, as I knew they would be! Prepared is an understatement; the woman comes prepared with a tool belt! She had everything under control, and kept me sane during all the chaos. My husband and I are so grateful to her, and do not want to even think of what could have happened if she wasn't there. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist, DOC, event planner, or wedding planner! You will be so glad that you did!

    I had my first experience with getting the chance to work with Jelena & I was truly wowed by the job that she had done with the client that we both had been working with. As a wedding DJ, I work very hard with my clients in truly understanding there overall needs. Depending on when the client hires me, I can play many rolls in helping create the foundation to the planning process. When I had been hired by Tanner & Maddi and started understanding there wedding day, I made the recommendation that they hire a wedding planner. Maddi had a friend that was going to feel that roll. I never had the chance to meet this person other than the groom, Tanner sending me an emails on what a disaster that had turned into and they needed to move forward with someone else. I had given them a name of the only planner that I used as a preferred vendor. Maddi had gone to a wedding show where she had met Jelena and hired her service. I was a little disappointed that they decided on someone else then my recommended only because of how many bad planners that I have experienced. At 4 weeks before there wedding day, I had my last planning . meeting & I could see a change in stress levels in a positive way that they both showed. Because of the time I had scheduled my vacation, this would be our last conversation before there big day. Jelena works with all of the family and vendors so that everything has that extra touch in a way that made me feel that I needed to share in a review. There are huge reasons in why a couple would want to bring in a wedding planner for 30 days before the wedding or day of cordnater. It give the chance to the bride and groom to enjoy what is one of the most important days in there life's and making sure that all of that planning, goes off without a hitch.

    We hired Jelena as our Day-Of Coordinator, and she was absolutely AMAZING! She is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, so well organized, and a professional in every way. There's no way our big day would have gone so smoothly without her, and I definitely wouldn't have made it to the wedding day with my sanity intact. She helped me wrangle rental chairs, made sure all my other rentals arrived to and from the wedding safely, set everything up beautifully, and helped sort out the little details I had been stuck on, among so much more! Jelena was a blessing in the middle of a crazy time, and I am so glad we got to work with her. I will be recommending her to everybody that even mentions getting married!

    We used JBK Weddings and Events for my son and daughter in laws wedding and it was the best move we made. We didn't budget for an entire wedding planner so we used her for the day of coordination and we had her do our flowers. She was priceless!!!! She took all the stress off of us and handled everything. She organized the vendor's and was in contact with all of them. She made sure the wedding was on time and everything went as planned. She even stayed until the last minute and helped with all the clean up. I can't imagine the wedding day without her beautiful face there reassuring us that it was ok! The flowers were perfect and soooo beautiful. She is very artistic and talented. The kids had a theme and she loved that and took it and ran with it. She found certain items that tied into the theme and made everything perfect. Thank you Jelena, we will be friends for life!!

    We used JBK weddings for both our flowers and day-of-coordination. To say Jelena was amazing is an understatement! Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and Jelena has just the personality you want in a planner. She made sure everything ran on time and took away a lot of the stress of dealing with vendors and trouble-shooting mishaps throughout the day. She was available throughout the entire process, even though we just had her for day-of coordinating. She made the whole day stress free so that we could really enjoy our special day (and wow did it go by quickly!). My husband and I both say that choosing JBK weddings was the single best decision we made in the wedding planning process! She also referred multiple vendors to us, and everyone she recommended was amazing. We used both a photographer and DJ she recommended, and our guests were dancing until 1:15am. The flowers were also gorgeous; many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was and the style matched exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much JBK weddings!

    Jelena was great to work with. She listened to what we needed, gave us suggestions as to how the best way to work around our wishes were, kept track of the vendors and made sure my family and I were organized. She was not afraid to take charge, whether people liked it or not. She was quick to solve problems and did everything with a smile. Indian weddings are not the easiest things to pull off, but Jelena made it look so easy.

    Jelena was such a great day-of coordinator and florist for our wedding, she is very skilled at her trades and knows exactly what she is doing. She is a super hard worker and does everything in her power to make your life easier! During such a stressful time, I couldn't imagine not having her. She made our wedding run on schedule, smoothly and without any 'hiccups.' Our floral looked spectacular and you can tell she really took her time and used very high quality flowers, matching your desired look and selection. Her displays were just gorgeous and we got many compliments after our wedding on our floral. We highly recommend Jelena as a day-of wedding coordinator and/or wedding florist, she really pulled through for us, even on short-notice. Because of her, we had a stress-free, wonderful wedding.     Jelena was such a wonderful wedding planner! My husband and I didn't even know where to start, and she gave us a checklist and timeline from the beginning. She also did our flowers and made our vision for a "woods" themed wedding come to life! I don't know a lot about specific plant types, names, etc. and she had tons of suggestions and knowledge about what to use and how to make our venue look unique.

    Jelena's experience is obvious from the get-go. She's open to any ideas and questions, but also has great recommendations if you aren't sure about something. She's quick to respond to emails/calls and prompt on deadlines. Overall, a dream wedding coordinator. She took away a lot of the stress that comes with planning any event.

    Jelena is a FANTASTIC wedding coordinator. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Even though she was technically the "day of" coordinator, she did much more than that. She came to my house and spent three hours with me walking through every single detail. She was always available via email and phone, and really worked to understand my vision and the family dynamics. On the day of my wedding, she set up the venue perfectly and was attentive to not only my needs, but everyone else's as well. Everything was totally seamless and my guests all commented on how well the evening flowed. She is truly a godsend. Hire her!

    We hired Jelena as our day of coordinator for our wedding on June 6, 2015 and she was all around amazing. She arrived early to set everything up and coordinated with all our vendors. She made cute hair pieces for my bridesmaids with the extra orchids we had ordered. She even sewed a button back on my husband’s tux and removed the stains off my dress when I spilled food. You can tell she has a lot of experience in the industry and it truly shows. I didn’t worry about a single thing on our wedding day because I knew we were in good hands. All in all, our wedding day was PERFECT thanks to Jelena. I will definitely recommend her services to anyone and everyone who needs help planning a wedding or an event!

    Jelena and I met after I had already paid the deposit for my day-of-coordination, so I was not able to secure her as my official day-of-wedding-planner. However, over the course of the last year Jelena has checked in on me frequently and served as what I consider to be my "bridal consultant". For several reasons I felt less comfortable soliciting the advice of the actual coordinator I'm paying for and at these times, which were often, Jelena was there to help me. She is wise, helpful, strategic with planning details, compassionate, caring and giving of time - and she was doing this just out of the kindness of her heart. She is truly a "what can I do for you" kind of person ---Which I actually haven't found too much of in my planning process, even though I have a pretty large budget. I cannot imagine how thorough her services would have been if I were a paying client. I will refer JBK Weddings and Events to every couple I know in the Puget Sound area because I am so impressed with her talents, knowledge and customer service.

    Coordinating with Jelena was the single best decision after my husband and I chose to get married. We wanted to do a lot of the planning ourselves to save, but we knew that the details could get away from us—especially on the wedding day. We really wanted to relax and enjoy ourselves. Jelena came highly recommended by the Seattle Aquarium, and we hired her to take care of the day-of details. However, she far exceeded our expectations as coordinator. Besides recommending vendors and working with them on the wedding day, she also arranged our personal flowers and set up decorations for our aisles and tables. She has an incredible memory and keeps careful track of your ideas and schedule. It’s clear that she has a lot of experience in this industry and does her best to help you find what you need. She has a great personality: fun, alert and honest.

    Here’s a list of the amazing things she did as coordinator:
    - We forgot a bunch of things, but she picked up all of those things and even dressed up the flower girl’s basket and hair with extra ribbons in our colors. We really loved these bonus details.
    - My sister had an accident with her dress and Jelena swooped in to help with a sewing kit.
    - Our flowers turned out gorgeous. I had a very loose idea and Jelena made it a reality in a big way. She took time to go to the wholesaler with me and sketch ideas.
    - Recommended our hair stylist, make up artist and officiant who we were all pleased with!
    - Picked up our programs that we finished last minute. Our hero!
    - Kept us on track!

    Also, I’m sure she saved the day in more ways than we actually know! And that’s probably a good thing. We enjoyed ourselves a great deal during the ceremony and reception with minimal interruption.

    If you’re looking for someone who is creative, organized and talented with a dash of spunk, Jelena is the perfect person to help you with your day.

    Jelena was the best gift a future bride and groom could ask for. As a future bride who had very little interest in details or planning and absolutely no idea what I wanted, I couldn't have asked for someone more qualified for the job. Jelena helped to make the year before our wedding stress free and exciting. Not only did Jelena plan everything from top to bottom, but she helped me to find my own personal style. In addition, she helped me to stay calm and at ease during the process. As well, she kept me on top of things when I was falling behind on what I needed to be doing.

    Six months before our wedding, my husband's job moved us from Seattle to Ohio. Because we had already planned and paid for most of the wedding in Seattle, we kept our wedding plans there. Being clear across the country taking care of everything should have been much more difficult, but Jelena made it a breeze; she went WAY above and beyond the call of duty for us. We so appreciate her for that!

    The day of the wedding I had absolutely NOTHING to worry about. Jelena organized and executed everything that occurred from the beginning of the day to the very end, leaving me and my husband to focus on our special day with our friends and family.

    You can't find a more professional, kind and meticulous wedding planner than Jelena :)

    Jelena was amazing! We hired her to be our day of coordinator and she went above and beyond. Weeks before the wedding she started helping me tie up the loose ends with our vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page. She was very flexible with our meetings and rehearsals and even made a special trip to meet with us and our officiant who could not attend our actual rehearsal. She would check in every week or so with a short email just to see if we were okay and if we needed anything. If I had any worries or concerns about doing something or getting something that was needed Jelena took care of it. She did all of the set up and take down so our family and friends could enjoy our day with us. She was so amazing that many of our guests even commented to me about how awesome she was. Our wedding went just as planned and Jelena kept us on track. This was the best money that we spent on our entire wedding. I don't know what I would have done without her.

    FABULOUS! My Angel! I hired Jelena about 4 weeks prior to my daughter’s wedding as the day of coordinator. I live in So Cal, the bride in the Seattle area and her maids of honor in VA and CA. Bottom line, we were all over the place. I just wanted to attend my daughter’s wedding stress free and that’s what I got and more! From the moment I talked to Jelena I liked her “get it done” attitude and she offered up great ideas we incorporated in the last few weeks. She took charge and got us organized at the rehearsal, called vendors, etc. But the real magic came on the wedding day. I had already called her my angel, but on the wedding day she pulled off the big miracle!!
    The wedding ceremony was to start at 5PM sharp and at 4:30 our officiant had not arrived. Jelena placed calls to the officiant my daughter had hired and got no response. At 4:45 she called the officiant’s husband to locate our missing officiant and he had no idea where she was. Jelena really took it on, made a phone call to a local officiate she knew and arranged to have a new officiant step in and perform the ceremony. Unbelievably the ceremony started at 5:30 and it was perfect. I can’t even imagine what we would have done without Jelena.
    Jelena was so easy to work with and a good listener. She helped everywhere from arranging flowers on the cake, set up, cleaning up spilt champagne glasses, to packing up the left-over food and sewing up the strap on my dress.
    I can’t say enough positive things about Jelena. I will say…..she was our best wedding investment ever!!! At the end I felt she was not only our consultant, but a family friend forever! Thank you Jelena!

The wedding day was fabulous with her there to make sure that every detail was attended to and that everything went so smooth that my daughter and I were able to completely enjoy the day and not worry about anything.

    I attended a 70th birthday party that Jelena planned. Everything was picture perfect from food to decorations, and she was a dream. So professional, well organized, calm, supportive and fun. Highly recommend!

    Jelena designed and baked the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for our wedding and it was HUGE. She can provide the most beautiful flowers and decor, outstanding food, she can do it all.     Jelena helped my husband and I plan out 350 guest wedding. She helped out with everything from planning, to flowers, to decorating. She has a good eye for making your day one of a kind. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a fairytale wedding.

    The floral arrangements Jelena provided for my party were the most beautiful I have ever seen. They were unique as well as being creative. The decor she provided for the venue was outstanding & her help making sure all the vendors got to the venue on time was without a doubt top notch. I would recommend Jelena for any service as she made my day stress free and I was able to enjoy my party without worrying about a thing.

    Jelena is amazing. She works with any budget and helps you create the wedding of your dreams. She helped me plan my 350+ wedding. She helped with flowers, decorating and was there the entire day of our wedding. She is truly wonderful and I would reccomend her to anyone looking for a quality planner.

    Jelena was wonderful! We had a very DIY wedding, but we couldn't have done it without Jelena's day-of coordination. Her expert opinions on schedule, timing, and arrangement was exactly what we needed for our wedding in the woods. She was extremely professional, kind, organized, and helpful across the board.     Jelena was our day of coordinator. She was very easy to work with and very responsive to any and all of our questions. She has a great down to earth personality and is willing to offer up advice from her experience when you begin planning. She did a great job of deflecting a lot of the stress of the wedding day and kept us focused on enjoying our day. When a few things did not go as planned, she stepped in and got things all straightened out so the show could go on without a hitch.

    Jelena was such a huge help during our wedding. We hired her as day of coordinator and I'm so happy we did. She sat down with us ahead of time to get all the items needed and to go over all the details (many of which I hadn't thought of). She even went and picked up our flowers so we would have them in time for our photos since the venue wouldn't allow the vendor to come by until after we started photos.

    During the event she made sure we knew where we needed to be and helped keep things on track - not easy when the couple is being pulled in many different directions.

    I would highly recommend Jelena for wedding coordination - she is a life saver and really allowed us to relax and enjoy our big day!

    When I first got engaged I had no idea where to start. I reached out to a bunch of wedding planners letting them know that I honestly have no idea what I'm getting myself into and would like to talk to someone and get a realistic expectation for what my wedding was going to be like. Jelena was the first to get back to me and was honestly the most helpful. The consultation was free and she helped me figure out a budget, gave me references, and told me where to start. Unfortunately, due to budget restraints I was not able to hire her for my day of coordination, but I would honestly recommend her to anyone. There is no doubt in my mind that a wedding she is involved in would go off without a hitch.

    We utilized Jelena more as a consultant that anything else. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us plenty of suggestions and ideas in planning for our wedding. We tried to check in about once a month to let her know what we had done and what still needed to be done. She held us accountable and as a result, we ended up having a great and very memorable wedding. By the way - this was one of Jelena's first same sex consulting jobs - she was very open and great to work with.

    Having an on the day coordinator was extremely helpful to have, especially with a big fat chaotic indian wedding like mine. Jelena and her team were really friendly and ensured for my well being. With all the stress I lost my appetite, nevertheless she brought me a bowl of fruit in the morning and made sure I had something in my belly to to event me from passing out! They did all the last minute running around to ensure things were in place.

    I couldn't comment on the 'value' as my sister paid for it as a wedding gift to us. We only paid for their on the day event coordination, rather than any prior planning/research. Jelena also made in clear of what request would incur extra cost so that everything was very transparent and their weren't any surprise costs involved.

    Overall they were really great and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them. The only thing I would've liked is more communication from them with me (the bride) prior to the wedding (even though it was my sister that paid for them). This is why I gave a 4 instead of 5. Most of the communication seemed to be between them and my sister whose views on my wedding I disagreed with. It would have been helpful to receive an email in advance of all the information they required, an outline of what their roles would be on their day, and I guess some general guidance on how to best utilise their services.

    I didn't fully understand what they were meant to do until a friend broke it down for me the week of the wedding. By that time I was too busy to get them all the information that would've helped with the wedding. Because I live in London and our wedding was in the States, it was stressful planning from abroad and truthfully slightly disorganised on mine and my families part. I didn't have a maid of honour so it was just great having Jelena by my side making sure I was ok through every stage of the wedding!

    Great set of ladies, and definitely recommend them.

    Not the best…

    My husband and I moved to the Seattle area in January and wanted to try to plan our wedding to take place within the same year. Given that we didn’t know the area well and that we were busy working, settling, etc. we decided to hire a wedding planner. We met with Jelena in the spring and thought she would be a good fit, as she has been involved in the wedding industry in multiple facets and had great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience with her was definitely not the same as others. From the get go, she seemed a little rude and uninterested in actually helping us. She provided little help in finding a venue or looking at broad catering options, and was always rushing us when we needed time to figure things out. As planning progressed, we were told that she wouldn’t be available day of the wedding and that she would have to find someone to stand in for her. This was fine with us at the time, assuming she would be helping, but she did next to nothing other than collect a paycheck. We very much felt like we were “easy money” to her since our wedding was so small. She constantly forgot my husband’s name or wouldn’t even include him in emails and when I asked help with finding services for hair or make up, she offered little help insisting that everyone was booked. Fortunately for us, we were able to get what we needed to done, and we did get three great people from the experience: Alexandria and Candace (photographers) and Melissa from Sway Events. Melissa was SO wonderful the day of the wedding and she made sure things flowed seamlessly. I wish I would have known about her and the company sooner because I would definitely have chosen them over Jelena. I definitely would not recommend her to anyone unless you feel like giving thousands of dollars to someone so rude and unhelpful!
