I can't express my gratitude enough to Jillian and her team!
We did a destination wedding in Jamaica and chose a resort thinking the resort would be able to provide the decor etc at a reasonable cost. We ended up finding out, that was not the case. So we started looking for vendors and found a few, however we encountered a hiccup with the resort and that's where Jillian literally saved the day. The process of getting everything finalized with the hotel was an absolute nightmare but Jillian told me from the get go she was going to be able to deliver and did she ever!
The vision I had, is what she was able to deliver and I am forever grateful!
We had a tent with chandeliers for our venue and it was amazing, with the fairy lights and the clear top, our guests still talk about it. The centrepieces were gorgeous and I'm not a flower person at all, but the flowers Jillian got for our wedding were stunning!
If you need a vendor who is reasonably priced, experienced and can deliver results Jillian is the one to call.
From the first meeting to the day of the wedding, she was on top of everything and reassured me she wasn't going to let the hiccup with the resort deter her, to which I am eternally grateful for! Whenever I needed to speak with her or had a question, she was prompt with her response and at the end of it all, JB event and Rentals really helped bring my vision to life.

Did everything to make our day work
JB events was doing what we expect of a planner and she tried to make our vision a reality every step of the way. But where she went 100% was on the day of the wedding where she had to work around the rain to bring our dream to life. Things looked daunting but she and her crew were flexible enough to change locations and still made the ceremony one to remember. She was forthcoming when things just couldn’t work and we prefer truth than fairytale. All in all we are grateful for the patience and help we received.

Perfect One Stop for Wedding Packages!!
We shopped around for some time trying to find a company that could offer a package for all the services that we needed. We spoke to persons that could not quite seem to make the process seamless, then came JB Events. Right away we realized they were the perfect place to make this easier for us; their process for initial consultation made all the difference because that first phone call ensured we could express our needs and JB could effectively deliver. And deliver they did! Even now our guests still comment about all the fun they had with the food, music and our private venue provided by JB which was appreciated by all, as we had a real party. From the moment we had our first conversation with Jillian, we knew she was the one for us; her voice, her personality; we could sense her sweetness and authenticity through the phone. She has a genuine love for us the client and a passion for our wedding. She listened to us and wanted us to be happy. Some planners make it about them but she was all about us. We gave her and her team full control and had complete confidence. She asked questions I didn't even think of and guided us every step of the way, there was an ease when communicating with her and always always joyful, I felt more and more excited everytime we spoke. From the first point on contact to the day of our wedding, the JB Team was beyond what we could have ever dreamt of. If you were having a bad day just hearing their bubbly vibrant voices and interacting with them would have made it better. JB Events truly brought our vision to life. Our wedding was held in a garden and the team represented our theme colours of purple and royal blue so beautifully - from providing decadent floral arrangements, to the chairs and table center pieces. I worked with JB Events & Rentals to provide the decor for my sister’s wedding ceremony and reception. I found Jillian to be very pleasant, responsive and easy to work with. She easily made adjustments to work within our budget without compromising the vision.

When I first reached out to jb events I was shopping around and hadn’t made up my mind on which wedding planner/decorator I would be working with. Two months later, I was shocked that they actually remembered me and reached out to ask me how my wedding plans were going. I couldn’t believe that they remembered me. All the other vendors I reached out to were quick to tell me that they were already booked or that my location would be out of reach...many other excuses. The planners at jb events are so friendly. So I ended up working with Jillian and her team in preparation for my big day. Their customer service is exceptional. They respond quickly to queries and messages. Communication is at its best with jb events. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Jillian pays attention to details so there was nothing left unspoken about or undone. Everything mattered to her which made the set up at my wedding even more stunning. I would recommend jb events to the world.

We deeply appreciate the fabulous work you and your hardworking team did to provide us with a comforting, cordial and colorful wedding ceremony and reception. You should be able to recall that immediately after the reception I communicated to you how pleased we were with your level of professionalism, creativity and vision that you displayed throughout. As I said in my thank you speech, my wife made the best decision in acquiring your service. The decor was excellent as it tied in with our theme and further to that our invited guests were very impressed. Since the wedding we have been reviewing pictures and videos clips and your work is still shining like a diamond. The corsages were on point and the bouquets were of the highest quality. It should be of note that there was a concern about the space allotted for the ceremony at the rehearsal. How will the guests be comfortable seated within the space was the main question.
However, you managed to transform the space into seating everyone comfortable including placing an arch for the exchange of vows and tables for the Sand Ceremony and the official signing of documents. The aisle was very efficient and well decorated. The area was beautiful, my bride was beautiful and so my heart was crammed with joy.”

Thanks to Jillian our wedding on a budget was everything we dreamed of, and more.
I was very fortunate to meet and work with Jillian Broomfield when I decided to plan my Jan 2017 wedding. I was impressed with the work she did for a friend’s wedding half a year earlier. This friend highly recommended her. She was the only decorator I met with. After our first meeting it was an easy decision to work with her. She listened to my ideas and understood all of my concerns. She was very flexible with budget. Most importantly, she gave great advice. She went above and beyond: talking me through near meltdowns (even on the morning of), and encouraging me along the way. I had a relatively short time to prepare (about 5 months), and a very limited budget. It was a very stressful time for me. She helped me with every decision, including deciding on the overall theme, selecting the dress and the invitations, working out a sensible timeline, deciding on the menu and caterers, hairdresser and makeup artist. A week before, she helped me through a dress emergency, and talked me down when I called her crying on the morning of the wedding. Through it all she was very professional, but also felt like a true friend. I would never have made it in one piece if not for her. I will be forever grateful. She was a true blessing. My entire family loved her. The actual day was PERFECT! Everything was better than I had dared to hope. Her entire team of decorators and servers were excellent. My husband, who had been sceptical about having a reception at all due to potential cost, was very impressed. He kept asking me to remind him how much we ended up paying. He still feels we got the best deal. It was a dream wedding and I received many compliments. I have little to no talent for design, so it was all Jillian. She was an answer to prayer. After the decision to marry my husband, working with her was the best decision I made for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
TL;DR: Jillian is awesome. My experience with her was great. You should hire her. You will not be disappointed.

Great service very warm and friendly. Easy to talk to, always available even late at night. Jillian went above and beyond assisting even with little planning issues I had outside of decor she was hunting dresses for me as I was having trouble finding exactly what I wanted. On my wedding day she seemed omnipresent she was every where getting things done. When I looked outside my dressing room and saw the transformation of my venue my heart melted and I was in tears. It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted and pictured in my mind. Thank you JB for making my dream wedding possible.

The search for a decorator was not an easy one. From the beginning Jillian was excited about my vision. I wanted someone who was able to execute what I had in my mind and Jillian and her team exceeded that. From the first time we met in person I was overwhelmed by her enthusiasm. She was extremelyyyyyyyyy flexible and consultative. I appreciated most that she saw my wedding as more than a “job” or money-making venture but as a special day an occasion in my life that I would never forget. She was responsive to my emails and messages and you was a professional throughout the entire experience. Spending the weekend in Mobay and respecting my religious beliefs showed me that God led me to her as I’m sure there are very few decorators who would have done that without an additional cost. On the day, the decoration was even more spectacular than I imagined. I loved that I was able to trust her decorative instincts and so on the day she even added small touches that I would not have thought of but made the décor even more beautiful. The flowers were maybe where I was most hesitant, but she came through!!!!! I loved them.#pinterestworthy!! OVERALL EXECELLENT EXPERIENCE AND I HAVE ALREADY STARTED RECOMMENDING!!!

My husband and I are beyond grateful to you guys for the service offered. The JB Events team was very professional and first-class in their delivery of what was a very special day for us.
I met Jillian and her team only two weeks before my big day. At the consultation my request was "I want something simple and elegant".
I was immediately put at ease, and the vision painted by Jillian from her ideas that flowed matched up with what I was looking for. As I told Jillian I think she understood who I was.

My husband and I received 5 star services form JB Events for our wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing and breathtaking just like we imagined. We didn't have a wedding planner and had never been involved in planning a wedding before, but Jillian and her team were able to provide guidance and helped turn our vision into a spectacular reality. The team was very professional and patient and were always available and responsive no matter what time of day. I think our favourite aspect of working with JB Events is their attention to details. We were able to express our concept and have any potential issues resolved in advance. We also liked the fact that Jillian was flexible enough to assist us with some last-minute requests which were not included in our original contract. She was able to identify gaps in our decor plan and made suitable suggestions to ensure necessary decorative items were available on our big day. After speaking with Jillian Broomfield after one phone call, I knew she was the wedding planner for me! She has a great personality that makes you feel completely at ease and a great approach to making the planning seamless. As a senior who was already overwhelmed from being engaged and attaining my Bachelor’s in Education, Jillian and her team provided my husband, Cory and I with all the tools to ensure that we were not overwhelmed with the planning process of our wedding and reception. Honestly, this was crucial for me. My wedding day was absolutely nothing short of magical and our reception at Straun Castle was absolutely breathtaking and filled with love! In fact, from the smallest detail to the biggest they had it covered fantastically and I say that wholeheartedly as I am a perfectionist at heart. No Regrets!
When I first contacted Jillian on her Facebook page, I was impressed with how quickly she responded to my questions and after presenting her with my ideas how quickly she was able to give me a quotation. Upon meeting to discuss the plans, I was further impressed with her warm personality and the flexibility to adjust the plan to stay within our budget. We met for quite a few times to finalize details and each time her personality remained the same and her attention to details was impeccable. Even when we came across challenges with some of our décor being stuck in another country, I remained confident that all would be well despite possibly not getting exactly what we wanted. And so it was. Upon seeing the décor on our wedding day, I was blown away. Although I had my own idea of what it would turn out to be, Jillian and her team, still made it more than we could have expected.

My Saving Grace!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I reached out to JB Events for decor services in September 2019 for my December 2019 wedding - last minute to say the least! However, Jillian was not deterred and remained on the ball from day one! Even though I didn’t have a clear vision for the wedding, she was able to walk me, a novice, through expectations, and even provided a variety of options and valuable suggestions, all while keeping my personal style in mind.
My schedule was extremely hectic and I was unable to visit the office to see mock ups in person, and she extended herself to facilitate that through video call. She provided regular updates, responded promptly to all my numerous questions and concerns.
The team was early on the actual day, and was super professional and efficient in setting up. My wedding was a dream come true and almost three months later and people are still commending the decor!
I learned a lot working with Jillian and the team, service was impeccable and affordable, which is hard to find. Honestly, Jillian is a gem and I’d recommend JB Events any day, not just for weddings but for any event!

Listen to me. If you are doing an event and JB isn't a part of it, it's not being done right! Affordable, reliable, creative, supportive, understanding, are just a few of the words to describe this team. They did my wedding and best believe it was one of best choices I had made. They surpassed my expectations. Getting married and having an all island power outage would ruin any bride's night but JB WAS THERE TO RESCUE. They created a lovely candle light affair and made my day even more magical. After many days of trying other bridal stores to get a dress; that one dress I wanted that no one could seem to get for me, here came JB events and rentals to the rescue.

The Wedding is over but I have to comment on how well it turned out. thanks to JB Events & Weddings. We had many comments that our wedding on May 16th 2015 was the best wedding guests had ever attended. I agree!! The food was perfect. Everything went off without any problems. The suite was gorgeous. The whole place was decorated perfectly with things that Sharon had helped us order. She helped us with coordinating everything. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your wedding. I hope it will be as wonderful as we found it!!! JB Events & Weddings!!!! Also our photos were done by them as well. There photographer is very good.

We found out about Jillian through my sister in law. Our first meeting with Jillian was wonderful, We felt comfortable with her and her team and right away she was able to advice me on what We would need for properly executing a wonderful ceremony. We knew in my mind what We wanted and Jillian and her team did that and more. Everyone that came to our wedding said it was an extravaganza and all potential brides wanted to know who did the decor and noted that she would be a must have on their list of decorators/wedding coordinators.
We thank Jillian again for a job well done and if we should get married all over again we would definitely choose Jillian!!

It was a spectacular experience

Jillian I have no words to describe how passionate you are about your job, you were made for this! Working with you was amazing, your client friendly, your understandable, you empathize and also gives you a little counseling when it seems overwhelming, when I tell you Jillian I can’t afford it your respond was “don’t worry I’m going to discount it”. I called you late nights, early morning and you were available.
The fact that I didn’t have a wedding planner, I was worried about the outcome of the decor but you and your team topped it! I remember calling you two months before the wedding to change the theme colour and you humbly just said “yes that colour would create a nice seen”. I called and change the numbers of guest so many times and for that reasons at one point, we both got confused about the numbers, yet still you never got upset.
I’m so grateful I choose you and if I should do it again I will still choose you! My husband was please he loved it! I love love love and appreciate what you did with your hands, so many persons asking who did the decor. You are good at what you do please don’t let no one else tell you other wise; I’m a hard person to please and you pleased me! I’m proud to recommend you to anyone!! I met Jillian at a friend’s wedding. I was there early as I was in charge of creating his wedding film. I was able to observe how she performed on the day and I was impressed and satisfied by her level of professionalism, so I ensured she knew that I would require her services for my Wedding.
Overall, weddings can be costly, and what I like about Jillian is she knows how to meet expectations within a set budget, not many decorators /planners understand or even tries to accomplish this. My wedding turned out lovely and I‘m glad for the services I received from JB EVENTS

I booked Jillian and her team for my wedding in May 2025. She listened to my vision and brought my tropical wedding dreams to life! Despite unexpected heavy rainfall, she and her team quickly and seamlessly transferred the outdoor set up to the indoor venue and it was just as magical. She was also my on the day coordinator and as a bride, the best thing you could ask for is not to have to worry about the small stuff and be able to focus on your big day. Jillian ensured just that! Wedding Planner: Great value for Money!!
After reviewing numerous pages and packages, we decided to go with JB Events for our entire wedding planning. The quote was more affordable and was incredible value for money considering all that was included. They were responsible for venue, food, cake, decoration for ceremony, cocktail and reception, choice of photographer, videographer, DJ and even the minister and MC.
We gave complete trust to JB Events and it turned out to be the right choice. Our only duty was to get dressed and show up. Throughout the course of preparation, communication was fairly constant, responses were fairly timely which is understandable as at times they would also be planning or executing other events which we were notified about. They were receptive to changes even at the last minute and acted quickly and the vendors they chose to work with were all very professional. It was a fairly good experience having them plan and execute our wedding as it turned out to be a glorious event.

An experience that I will never forget
JB events exceeded my expectations. I am the type of person that worries alot especially when I'm not involved in the hands on planning of any event that I am apart of. I call Gillian and ask her the weirdest questions, at one point I started having doubts because I didn't think we were communicating enough not knowing that she had everything covered. I would go to my bed get up in the mornings feeling wary then I would just send her a random message. Then here comes the follow up call from her assuring me that everything is gonna be ok once I just trust her and the process. On the day, everything was next to magical. We were off to a late start because I was extremely late but everyone had a wonderful time and to date people are still talking about my wedding. The staff was friendly, camera team was on point and everything went well. I would definitely recommend her service to anybody looking for a magical experience.
The only thing that bothers me a little is the fact that I was told after the day of the wedding that the photographs would not be ready until 12-16 weeks which is really long for me.

Huge disappointment.
Great experience leading up to the wedding. Felt confident in their skills. Day of the wedding there seemed to be no coordination. Event did not flow well and some things paid for not delivered. Spoke with Jillian after and was offered their services for planning of an event for free in the future. She promised to reach out about a refund for things not delivered. Almost two months after wedding and we have not heard from her.
