    Excellent service

    We used Jay's Valet for an event involving over 250 of our research participants, who are all over 75 years old. Jay's provided excellent service and coordination of many cars with slower moving drivers, in a cramped, high-traffic neighborhood. Their valets were respectful and helpful to our guests and our event went extremely well. I would highly recommend Jay's Valet Service to others and would not hesitate to hire them again for our events.

    We hired Jay's valet for our wedding as our venue highly recommended valet parking and we agreed (George Peabody Library in downtown Baltimore). They were always very quick to respond and as they had done weddings at our venue previously they knew exactly what had to be done. They arrived on time (6pm for a 7pm wedding) and I did not receive any complaints from my guests. I would definitely recommend them.

    Amy was quick to respond to me with answers to all my questions. It was easy and painless securing their help for my daughter's wedding. The valets were dressed nicely, polite and friendly. Outstanding service!

    We used Jay's Valet for our reception downtown. We had a lot of changes with our guest count and they easily made adjustments. We were told by many guests how much they appreciated having valet and that the attendants were so nice and courteous. They are not your typical guys who park your car at a restaurant. They are a quality company. Two thumbs up!

    Jay's valet provided valet parking and coat check for my daughter's wedding. The service was excellent and Macy was just amazing! She was so responsive to all my requests.

    Jays Valet is phenomenal!!! They were flawless and my guests were all very impressed. There was no line and the attendants were fast and even courteous to my guests! I will never use another valet service for any event...Jays Valet sets the bar very high!!!

    We were very pleased with the valet service provided by Jay's Valet Service at our daughter and son-in-law's wedding at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore. This beautiful wedding site does require valet services, as street parking is practically nonexistant and public parking lots are several blocks away. Jay's Valet Service is very familiar with this wedding site and with the traffic flow through the many one-way streets. Our guests reported that Jay's staff was efficient, courteous, and prompt; my interactions with them were professional with prompt reponse times.

    Jay's Valet provided excellent service for my daughter's wedding. We used them for shuttle service, limo service, valet and even coat check. Their service was flawless. Everyone was on time, kept to the schedule, and handled everything that came their way. I could not recommend them more highly. They were perfect!

    We used Jay's Valet service for our wedding on Oct 15, 2011 at the 1840s Ballroom in Baltimore, MD and they were absolutely amazing, prompt, professional and a great value for money. Given the location of the 1840s Ballroom, parking is a challenge and Jay's pulled off this job without a hitch. I did not hear a single complaint from our guests about them receiving their cars in a timely manner or anything negative. Bill, the owner of Jay's was personally at our reception to make sure everything went smoothly. This added personal touch really made us feel comfortable. Furthermore, the staff at Jay's (Macy) who I worked with to outline the details of our reception timeline was excellent, attentive and very professional. A great vendor for valet service for any special event!!

    When I contacted Jay's Valet Service regarding providing services for my daughter's wedding they were wonderful from the start. I wasn't sure how many people would need the service since many guests were staying at the hotel near the venue but that was never a problem for Jay. Any time I called with questions or to give them updates the person answering the phone was professional, courteous and very accommodating. If left a message I received a call back in a timely manner. Guests who used the valet service commented on how professional and friendly the drivers were. I will defintely use Jay's Valet Service again.

    I would absolutely recommend Jay's Valet. They were easy to work with from the first phone call all the way through the last minute of the wedding! They provided us with limo service and valet parking. Both were professional and everything I expected.

    Jay's Valet was excellent to communicate with, and so professional and kind on the day of. Even their uniforms were classy! We feel that the value provided was great. The only complaint (and I would barely call it that) is that while I was exiting my wedding it appeared that the attendants were confused about which cars to pull. At the end of the event, guests were standing around waiting outside in the chilly November air, one attendant was standing in the road flipping through tickets. I can understand that with a rush of people, they may have gotten briefly overwhelmed, and I may have seen them at a bad time. My venue was in the city - lots of cars, foot traffic, emergency vehicles on adjoining roads etc. I am giving them benefit of the doubt but still including this information/feedback because I feel it is honest to include and maybe they will consider this for their future jobs. We had informed guests through the invitations and our website that valet parking would be provided to them for FREE if they just pulled up to the front of the venue. Even then, we know some people were confused about where to go (partially our guests' fault for not paying attention to the information given before hand...) One family even parked two blocks away and had to leave the event early because the parking garage they went to closed at 9pm. I wish that the "complimentary valet" sign was larger, higher, or more prominent somehow. It was hidden behind one of the parked cars. Very minor feedback. Other than that, I would still hire Jay's Valet for my wedding if I had to do it again. My venue was tricky, so please do not let my small feedback deter you from giving them a call or shooting them an email! They are wonderful people, and we loved having them as part of our day.

    I worked with Jay's Valet for our limo and shuttle services.

    As anyone can imagine, the first hurdle is dealing with finding and contracting the vendor. The second hurdle is making sure the service provider does everything well and on time.

    The second hurdle was no problem -- our limo driver and shuttle drivers were great. They were prompt, familiar with the Baltimore Inner Harbor area, and accommodating. 5 stars all the way.

    The issue I had with Jay's was contracting. It may be an administrative thing but they were not always responsive in a timely manner. When I worked with their admin about half a year before the wedding, she was extremely responsive, detailed, and right on point. Exactly the type of person a nervous bride wants to work with. But she left and another person filled her role. The handoff was not very clean because suddenly it was taking much longer to get my questions answered.

    But maybe I'm hard on them because I'm a consultant who works very closely with clients and answers their questions within minutes or hours. I've come to expect the same of other professionals as a result.

    I contracted with them to perform valet service for my daughters wedding to be held at her house. Due to an error made by their office, a partial address was listed on the contract. I failed to notice this mistake and signed the contract. It is their standard procedure to use google maps to view the satellite imagery of the property. How they were able to view the satellite imagery without realizing that the address was incomplete is questionable to me as the partial address on the contract does not exist. The on-site manager used the GPS on his phone to get directions which put him within 10 minutes of our location. He never called me to let me know he was going to be late or to ask for directions. I was given no contact info for the day of the event so couldn't contact him. I was told by the owner after the fact that he "panicked and was doing everything he could to find directions" except to call me. If he called me, I could have had him at the location within 10 minutes. In time to park the first car. As it was they were 45 minutes late, arriving after most of the guests had arrived.The point of hiring a valet service is so your guests will be safe and comfortable. Our guests had to walk on a road with no shoulder and up a steep incline of the driveway. This is completely unacceptable.
    The owner is not at all sorry or sympathetic about the performance of his employees. All he can tell me is that he has a signed contract with a partial address on it. Therefore their actions are my fault. I take responsibility only for the first 10 minutes that they were late.
    This is a company whose office staff is incompetent and difficult to contact. Their onsite manager is inexperienced, inconsiderate and shows poor judgment because of his tendency to “panic” when he is under pressure. The owner takes no pride in the quality of service performed or in customer satisfaction but instead hides behind a gotcha clause in the contract.
