I loved it! The pictures were absolutely beautiful! Jay Kravetz made it very convenient: my pictures were available to view and purchase on-line. He also gave me a CD of all my pictures so I can make more prints whenever I want.

Jay and his wife showed up on time, were pleasant enough and took a lot of photos. I did not interview very many photographers because I waited too long to book one and many were already booked for this special date, but it seemed his price was much better than the other ones that I did interview. About a month after my wedding I did receive 400 photos on disks and in a regular photo album.
The problem I found was that Jay and his wife did very little, if any, posing of the picture subjects like I have seen all photographers do in past weddings, bar mitzvahs, parties, etc. I feel that they both lack the personality necessary to be event photographers because you need to be lively and assertive to take charge of the situation. In the posed group pictures that we took before the ceremony with the family, some jackets are open, some are not, some hands are folded, some are not, some people are turned one way, some are turned another, the pictures look unbalanced because people are standing in a "thrown together" way. In some pictures, some people look like they jumped in at the last minute and don't even look like part of the group. Some pictures were taken at awkward angles . It was very disappointing to see this when I did receive my pictures even though I have to say that I wasn't that surprised. I did try to say something about the posing during the wedding, but I felt that he got a bit insulted and I had guests to attend to. I felt this was sloppy work. He missed taking pictures of a few of the tables at my wedding and there was not one picture of any of the kids (my three or my husband's three) other than the posed ones taken before the ceremony. I don't think, as the bride or the customer, I should have to tell the photographer these basic things like "dont' forget to get pictures of the kids" or "make sure people's ties aren't crooked or that they're facing the right way or that they're standing where they should be, etc" A true professional should know to do this. I know his website sounds very impressive and states that he is "award-winning", but what does that really mean? I find it hard to believe. I guess if you want 400 pictures printed and on disk for a lower price than most, he's your guy, but, in hind sight, I would have prefered 80 - 100 really great quality professional photos of my family and my wedding. My advice - give yourself enough time to research and book the right person. Get references from friends and see their photos.

    Worst possible choice!
Not only did they show up late and I don't have half of the getting ready part,
they refused to take the still life. They did not direct one single photo. Did I mention that the photographer, Jay, didn't even have the courtesy to show up after I paid in advance in full? He sent his wife and sister-in-law. One of them actually told a guest that they have no idea how to use the camera they have, and they're getting the hang of it now. They were too busy chatting with each other, and therefore I don't even have pictures walking down the aisle.
When I asked them to take pictures, Sheryl started screaming at me, insulting and cursing me with such a disrespectful language that a truck driver would blush. The resolution of the photos is terrible, half of them are fuzzy and blurry, a quarter are half dark, and a quarter are without any sense. People's heads are cut off, the zoom is wrong, the focus is not even there. They had no professional equipment with them, othe than business cards, and a camera which they kept on auto (not even amateurs do that).
Good luck if are going to go with them.
