Capturing the Perfect Moments

Jax Photography was one of the best vendors I hired for my wedding. From start to finish, Jacqueline and Jay helped answer any of my questions and helped plan out my day. Truly Exceptional!

I have been leading the Fresh Air band for 38 years come September, and have played for hundreds and hundreds of wedding receptions all around the Baltimore/DC region. I can honestly say that I can’t remember working with a photographer who was more fun to be on a vendor team with. They seemed to be everywhere at once, and their upbeat spirits lifted my spirits all night long! Having viewed samples of Jacqueline's work, they are quite simply superb! 10 stars!

Fantastic High-End Wedding Photography!

I had a destination wedding in Florida last December and one of the best decisions I made was hiring Jax Photography. Jacqueline and Jay were great to work with and made both my husband and I feel comfortable on our big day. Our wedding pictures turned out absolutely amazing and we have received so many compliments. Our custom wedding album is seriously beyond words. It is a piece of art and I look at it everyday :)

On top of being great wedding photographers, Jacqueline and Jay are great people. Both are easy to talk to and truly care about making your day special. You won't go wrong if you hire them!

Jax Photography: Wedding Photographer, Story Teller, Artist

As the Creative Director of a local, full color magazine, I hired Jax Photography to photograph multitudes of articles and cover images for many, many years. Jacqueline never disappointed. In fact, she always found the most beautiful and unique ways to represent the heart of the story. Working with Jacqueline was truly a designer's dream as I had so many impressive images to use to create a memorable narrative.

When Jacqueline and husband Jay decided to focus on wedding photography, I knew there would be countless satisfied customers. I watched over the years how she captured the beauty of every bride, the excitement of the groom, the fun and loving support of the wedding party, the tearful joy of the parents, and the delight of all of the guests.

Fast forward to me becoming a new Mother of the Groom, Jax Photography was, of course, my first choice! I absolutely knew Jacqueline and Jay would capture the Wedding Day with the most stunning photographs. And they did! From representing the incredible venue, the delicious food, and the lovely flower and table arrangements, to capturing the intimate looks of the bride and groom, the magic of moments- big and small, the love from the attendees, and the pure joy of the celebration, the array of incredible images which were captured was impressive!

But here's the bonus I was unaware of initially- the wonderful attention Jacqueline gave my son and his bride before and after the actual big day! Part of the Jax Photography process is to meet up with the couple for engagement photographs prior to the wedding. Besides having more fun-loving images from which to choose, the couple was able to get to know Jacqueline and feel more comfortable with her taking pictures. And as an experienced wedding photographer, Jacqueline was also able to help them understand what to expect and to set up a timeline for the wedding day.

When the beautiful images of the big day were captured and then shared with us, all were incredibly pleased! The next bonus was the dedication Jacqueline has to creating quality pieces of art for the couple. This can include a beautiful wall canvas, a treasure box of prints, a stunning wedding album printed on exquisite paper, and other collectibles to remember the joyful celebration. These finished products were truly above and beyond the norm.

Jax Photography is PERFECT! Not only did we have our engagement shoot with them, they are also doing our wedding! They listened to our ideas and the pictures for our engagement shoot were beautiful! People could not stop complimenting! The quality of their photography is worth every dime!

I am so in love with Jay and Jacqueline at Jax Photography. From the first phone call I had with Jacqueline, I knew I wanted her to be my wedding photographer. Our first in person meeting sealed the deal for my fiancé. Just the types of questions she asked gave me confidence that she had artistic vision and really cared about fitting us as a couple rather than trying to mold us to some standard format. So far, we have only completed our engagement shoot (included in the price of our wedding package). The pictures were better than I could have hoped for and suited our personalities perfectly. She is so easy and fun to work with. I cannot wait until she shoots the wedding!

Where do I start?! I love Jacqueline and Jay! You will never meet a photographer who is more in love with you than Jacqueline. She is your biggest fan and will do anything to make sure you have beautiful photos as well as those cute candid ones. Her work is exactly what you dream your wedding photos will look like, and her personality is even better. Jacqueline is more than just a wedding photographer in my eyes; she is a lifelong friend.
Being a dog lover herself, Jacqueline knew just how special it was to me to have my dog there and made sure to include him in as many photos as possible! She went above and beyond to capture beautiful scenic photos that day, as well as our wedding day, which are both now proudly displayed in our home!
On my wedding day Jacqueline not only made me feel beautiful and important, but provided me with the comic relief I needed. With all the craziness that surrounds you on your wedding day; it is wonderful to have her around. I probably would have never been able to try my wedding food if it wasn’t for Jacqueline bringing me little plates of food while people talked to me! She even had little chocolate treats in her bag for me because she knew I was a chocoholic ;).

I also highly recommend everyone does the Photo Parlor with JAX! Some of the best photos and memories are created in that little parlor of theirs! My guests had a BLAST with all of the fun props which included vintage hats, glasses, wigs and signs and I will cherish those photos forever.

I got married Nov 7 2014 in Pittsburgh PA at Heinz Chapel and Carniege Museum.
Heres a perfect example of how wonderful Jacqueline and Jay are.... Heinz Chapel holds weddings as a business there and are SUPER SUPER strict about their times of availability. Jacqueline sweet talked someone and was able to be allowed inside the Chapel , outside of our allowed time, to get shots during the day so we could utilize the gorgeous stain glass windows. I swear she works magic!

My wedding day and leading up to it was slightly stressful because I was worried about having an evening wedding. I don't care for a flash in photos but my husband didnt want to see me before our wedding...Jacqueline was able to calm me and work her magic with lighting and my images are SO STUNNING! Jay spent the day with the guys shooting and really was able to capture "a guys guy" images that I dearly love! They make an incredible team... They shoot both digital and film so I got the best of both worlds in photos. Jacqueline and Jay are both are such great people they were able to relieve some stress the day of by taking charge.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE my photos and I know I've made lifelong friends in them! I would recommend JAX PHOTOGRAPHY to anyone! VERY SMART MOVE!

We are still working with Jax on getting our photos printed and our package complete, but I didn't want to wait any longer to provide a review of their services. Jacqueline and Jay truly helped make our wedding day the perfect event we always dreamed it would be!

As a photographer duo, they really know their stuff. We are sifting through thousands of photos (literally) and we really love them all! They captured exactly the moments we hoped for, and they surprised us with some candid shots that really tugged at our heart strings. From the moment we started working with them, both Jacqueline and Jay provided perfect customer service and walked us through every step of the process. On the day of the wedding, they made sure to get all the shots they needed without taking up too much of our time so we could still enjoy the cocktail hour and reception. We can't wait to get our finalized album and will definitely come back when it's time for baby pictures :)

This married photography couple is truly fabulous. I got married September 27th at Running Hare Vineyard and we used Jax for our event. Jaqueline has a very big personality that you want for your big day. She can make even the most uncomfortable person feel comfortable in their own skin and make you feel beautiful. I was able to trust her completely to get everything done and to do it right. Even if I seemed unsure of a suggestion I just put my trust in her and that she knew what she was talking about and was always happy with the result. This couple is the definition of dedicated. They are very timely in all correspondence and you are always their priority. They make you feel as though you are the only client they have and will do anything to make you happy, even if you are being a bit of a bridezilla. I was stressed right before the big day because I had not hired a coordinator for the wedding and people had been questioning my decision. I called Jaqueline to ask her who I could get last minute and her response was “That will cost you a ton of money this late in the game. I will come and do that for you on Friday night and do it Saturday as well. I know the venue very well and I don’t want you being stressed about anything.” I was shocked. She just offered her Friday night to me to make me feel at ease before my big day. I ended up hiring someone from our catering company and everything worked out just fine, but that is just one example of how this company goes above and beyond the job at hand to give you the best service you can get. By the end of it all, you feel like you were a part of their family and not just a client. When people look at my wedding photos they say they are breathtaking and unreal! I cannot recommend them enough.

I don't even know where to begin!! Jacqueline and Jay were the photographers I hired for my wedding and they were simply amazing. I knew from the moment I first spoke to Jacqueline that she would be the perfect fit for what I was looking for. She became a friend to me over the past year while planning my wedding. She was always available when I had a question and responded very quickly to my emails. Fast forward to my wedding day.. When she arrived on the day of my wedding I felt a total calmness come over me. I knew that as long as Jacqueline was by my side everything would go smoothly. I really don't know what I would have done without her. Believe me when I say this... Jacqueline is not your typical photographer! She goes the extra mile to not only take amazing photographs but she also has a way of making her brides feel beautiful! Not to be forgotten is her husband Jay! He is a wonderful photographer! My now husband really liked him as well. Jay is super easy to talk to and has a good heart! I will never forget one of the last songs at my wedding Jacqueline put her arm around my shoulder and we sang the song together and danced in our celebration of a wedding that was a true success. I am really going to miss working with the two of them now that my wedding is over. When looking for a photographer remember one thing.. After the wedding is done all you have left are memories.. Beautiful sweet ones. Jacqueline and Jay were the ones who have captured the true essence of those memories and moments that will last a lifetime for me. You can't put a price tag on that. Jacqueline and Jay of JAX Photography are not only the absolute B-E-S-T people to photograph your wedding, but also to have help support you through the planning, and to know in general! Jacqueline and I established a personal bond through our engagement shoot and discussing the details of the wedding, and I cannot emphasize how INVALUABLE her calm (yet fun and super funky) presence was throughout the planning process.

As people, I give them a million-star rating, and as photographers, I would rate them even higher! Jacqueline was able to capture quintessential moments between my husband and I in both our engagement and wedding shoots, and somehow made us look like a god and goddess in the process. Photography is her passion, and she has an eye for highlighting the best features and most touching moments in everyone.

We will be using JAX Photography again and again for shoots as our family grows :) If you are looking for the most professional photographers with the best quality work and phenomenal personality who will treat your day like the sacred, hallowed event it should be, Jacqueline and Jay of JAX Photography are the people for you!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Jacqueline and Jay are. They are a dream to work with. The photographs that I got back were gorgeous. I can't stop looking at them! Jacqueline will do anything to get that perfect shot. What else could you ask for in a perfect photographer?? We also purchased a "wedding story DVD" with our package and that by far is a MUST HAVE. We did not have a videograhper, so it is the perfect way to look back at your wedding day. You will not be disappointed if your use Jax. They are amazing!!

When searching for a photographer one phrase stuck out with Jax more than any others... documentary style photography. If you are looking for more than the typical posed photos and want pictures that "tell the story of your wedding" (their words not mine but so very true) then this is your photographer. Their preparation for your big day is outstanding. No detail is left to chance

Jax Photography is by far the best photographers I have ever met and worked with. I hate having my picture taken (even as a bride) but they made me look great in all my pictures and the quality of their work was just amazing. Because of their flexibility (my wedding date changed suddenly to be earlier in the year) and dedication to making the memories of our wedding absolutely perfect, while making sure I was relaxed and had a fun time, my wedding was amazing and now I can look at my pictures and remember every little detail of my perfect day. They are now good friends of ours and will always be. There cannot be anyone better than Jax.

Words will never be able to describe how I feel about Jax Photography, but I will try. From the moment I talked to Jacqueline, I knew she would make my special day wonderful, but not only was she and Jay the best on the day of wedding but during the wedding planning they become a good friend of mine. I called Jacqueline often to ask her advice and support with the planning on the wedding. Jacqueline and I went to Swan Point a few months before the day of the wedding to find great places to take pictures. Jacqueline found an awesome beach on the property which I didn’t know about to take pictures. Our engagement shoot was perfect a great, fun, enjoyable time with my future husband!
The day of the wedding, Jacqueline was with me the bride and made sure I was calm and ate. She cared so much about me and how I was doing, it made the day easier. Jay was with the boys and the groom said he was easy to work with. Our families are so large and Jay and Jacqueline worked well with all of us! Jax Photography are very processional and know what you need.

About the pictures you are wondering about? I am speechless on what a work of art they are! Jay and Jacqueline have an eye for great pictures! They took so many pictures I am not sure which to pick from! Check out their website and be prepared to have your breath taken away because they are magical!
I recommend Jax Photography to any bride and groom they will make your day everything you dreamt it would be!

Jacqueline and Jay were great! We had a great engagement shoot, and the pictures turned out fantastic. They were a great help with big event, giving us a lot of good advice on how to organize our wedding day. We have a whole gallery of wedding pictures hanging in our house, and we even used prints as our thank you cards!

Jaqueline and Jay put a lot of effort into their shoots, and have a knack for finding the right angles and lighting. We couldn't be happier with the process or the results. HIGHLY recommended!

If you want to have engagement and wedding photos that you will cherish for the rest of your life then you need to work with Jax Photography! Jacqueline and Jay are an incredible team and by the end of the process you will consider them family. Jacqueline isn't just a photographer, she will act as a therapist at times when you find yourself stressed out. She really does care about each of her clients and it is apparent in every interaction you'll have with her. I had the chance to work with Jacqueline and Jay in the at the Four Seasons in the West Indies last April. Only one word can describe our week long shoot, AMAZING! They are such brilliant photographers that they go beneath the "photo" and capture the essence of what really is there. They handled everything from lighting to angles perfectly and Jacqueline still managed to act as my therapist a few times, lol. Out of our shoot, not only do we have memories that last a lifetime, also a wonderful set of friends. I will swear it up and down that anyone who uses Jax Photography won't be disappointed!!!! Jax Photography is amazing!! Jacqueline and Jay truly care about their couples and make your day perfect! When first looking for our photographer we were not having much success. We actually met with one photographer that I was 100% sure we would book, but after meeting with them we started to have second thoughts. They were not personable and I felt that we did not connect with them. Disappointed, I remembered seeing an album Jax Photography created at one of our potential vendors. The album was beautiful and I just knew we had to meet them. From the first phone call with Jacqueline I knew they were going to be our photographers. She was truly interested in us as a couple and was so enthusiatic. Our first meeting was awesome, I think we spent almost 3 hours talking and looking at their beautiful pictures. We booked them right away and haven't regreted it for a second. From our engagement shoot to the wedding everything was perfect! Our pictures our wonderful and we get so many compliments! We still have contact with them and know we will forever. We will be using them for all our milestones (kids, family pictures, etc). They are a wonderful couple and team! From our first meeting with Jay and Jacqueline, we knew they were the ones. Their portfolio was fabulous and we loved having two photographers for the event - they didn't miss a shot. The wedding day is over so quickly but the album and story video will keep the memories alive for a lifetime. The images bring tears to our eyes every time we view them.
