Boda de mi hija 08-26-25
Javier Olivero está altamente recomendado. La boda de mi hija fue organizada en 3 semanas y hubo tiempo hasta para hacer el shooting del love story. Las fotos quedaron espectaculares. El día de la boda fue muy puntual en su llegada y estuvo hasta finalizar la misma. Capturó muchos momentos memorables y estuvo pendiente que cada foto que deseaba fuera capturada. Javier was absolutely incredible. He took me through Old San Juan with precision, professionalism, and speed. From the moment we started, he was prompt, prepared, and knew exactly how to get the shots we needed without wasting a single minute.
There was zero fluff- just pure execution. He captured exactly what I envisioned (and more), then had me back to living my day without delay. The final photos were delivered fast and turned out perfect. Javier was absolutely amazing! He arrived early so we got time to hang out and get to know him and his wife (who was also my hair and makeup artist and just phenomenol!). Such great people and fun to be around. Javier made sure to speak up if I needed to change the way I was standing so that I would look my best in the photos. I was so excited to work with Javier, and he did not disappoint. He is such an artist with perspective and lighting, and our pictures are beautiful. He was so flexible, too, as I had to plan 3 completely different weddings due to the pandemic and vendor issues, and he stuck with me.

Dream Maternity Photos ❤️
Javier & Olga gave me the maternity shoot of my dreams! My experience with him from beginning to end was beyond belief and I look forward to using his services again in the future. My fiancé and I had a lot of fun. Before the shoot I gave Javier my vision and location. He gave me recommendations, and Olga did my hair and make up, which photographed stunning. Magic captured in a picture!
Javier Olivero Photography work is phenomenal. Javier and his team were able to capture what was incredible day for us and make magical! Our wedding day was incredibly busy running around and trying to meet all of our coordinators timelines and Javier worked hand in hand with the coordinator to make it easy. Always ensuring to take the right picture at the right time. Javier is always thinking outside the box to try to capitalize on weather, sun angles, etc, in order to give his pictures that "Wow" factor. His wife, Olga, makeup artist services were also on point. Not only the team was extremely punctual but she ensured the bride and all the bridesmaids were amazing before and throughout the evening. I highly recommend Javier Olivero photography and Olga Olivero's makeup services. We will be repeat customers.

Gorgeous wedding photos that felt fun, natural, & romantic!!
Javier was so amazing to work with as our wedding photographer!! My husband and I got married in Puerto Rico last week. It was a tropical intimate ceremony with about 10 guests. Javier did a beautiful job capturing our ceremony, and I hardly noticed he was there during the ceremony portion. I’m so happy that he was able to capture our raw emotions - from the tears in my dad’s eyes to the pure elation and joy that everyone was feeling in those moments. I look forward to re-living the beautiful happiness and emotions of the moments when we said our vows and said I Do. After the ceremony, Javier took photos of us with our families, which was really special. He made our families feel comfortable and captured some wonderful smiles! For our newlywed photoshoot right after the ceremony, we walked down a trail onto the beach and it felt like a fun photoshoot adventure! The colors Javier achieved were vibrant and amazing, and the lighting with the sun on the beach was surreal! Javier did a wonderful job making sure that the wind was in my favor for my hair and dress, and that the sun was not in our eyes. He also did a wonderful job of taking control and being very professional while still making the photoshoot very fun and romantic with my husband. You can tell he is an expert! As someone who does not get a lot of professional photos taken of myself, I felt so comfortable when he helped direct me in what poses would be flattering, and made me feel beautiful, and natural. We received the photos to look at digitally and order as prints within 2 days (so fast!) and they are absolutely gorgeous!! I love them so much. He has also been very quick to respond to any follow-up questions I have emailed him. I highly recommend Javier if you are looking for a professional photographer who will make you feel comfortable, have fun, and look and feel amazing! I will treasure these photos forever.

Talented and passionate engagement photographer
Javier went above and beyond for our surprise proposal and engagement photoshoot in Old San Juan! He was super creative working with me on coordinating the surprise element. For the actual photoshoot afterward, Javier's passion for his work, attention to detail and unique eye were all very clear, as he staged some really organic, well-composed moments for us. He and his assistant are a great team, and he really made us feel at ease in our excitement on this big day. We got maternity pictures done while we were visiting San Juan Puerto Rico and booked Javier to do our pictures. We are blown away with how amazing the pictures came out he took his time shooting and telling us how to pose to make the pictures that much better. Amazing Surprise Engagement/Proposal!
Javier and his wife did our surprise marriage proposal/engagement photos on Thanksgiving day for us! Very personable and knowledgeable! We got a walking history tour of the area as we moved from location to location for our pictures. Javier took the time to initially video chat with me and map out a plan for the day of the surprise engagement to ensure a perfect day.
Pictures were delivered fast and came out wonderful! Everyone loves our pictures and swears that we photo shopped some of the images because they seem unreal with the water and landscaped back drops. Two thumbs up for Javier!!!!!

Photo shoot in Old San Juan
We are a couple who loves to travel internationally. Javier was our 8th destination photographer we hired. We have seen our photos taken by the best photographers in other parts of the world. Javier is definitely as good as the best photographers we have experienced in Paris (for our day and night wedding portraits) and more recently Santorini in Oct (climbing up blue dome for pics with the Aegean Sea) Javier is a great communicator. He replied to our questions quickly from the very beginning. The meetup location was very easy to find (by the uber driver). 30 mins before the photo session, I received a message that he was at the meetup location already. The photo session went very smoothly. Both Javier and his wife were very friendly and professional. Their suggestions for poses were awesome and creative. Old San Juan was an amazing place for couples or families to have photo shoots. We had photos taken in various beautiful locations which were all in walking distance from the meetup location. No climbing uneven steps or trespassing to private properties at all, compared to my other photo shoot experiences. The pace was perfect. We accomplished a lot, but at the same time we did not feel rush. Javier completed the long edit process and sent us the pictures (just now), when we are still in Puerto Rico. Both my wife and I love the pictures as we look at them from our hotel room. Such an awesome gift to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Well done!

A true artist!
We acquired the services of Javier through the venue we picked and we couldn’t be more happy with their choice. From the start he was very creative and explained what he wanted to achieve. His mind is as sharp as his pictures and he delivered in all of them. His timeliness on delivering our photos was exceptional. Javier is a true professional and so easy to work with. He is indeed one of the best photographers in San Juan, and offers reasonable and competitive pricing. We had a destination wedding elopement ceremony in El Morro, and Javier wasted no time in maximizing the time and sunlight we had. A true creative artist, he directed our photos so well, allowed us to be ourselves, and captured our joy so elegantly. The photos came out dazzling and we are so grateful we picked him and have these beautiful memories to look at for a long, long time. We highly recommend you pick Javier too!! Javier is the best!
Javier was an AMAZING wedding photographer, my husband and I could not be more thrilled. He was amazingly responsive when we emailed him the first time, and promptly set up a meeting at his home/studio space. He has a wonderful set of albums to choose from and his photographs are unparalleled. I felt like a model from start to finish and my photos look like they could be in any wedding magazine. And a protip, you should absolutely have his wife do your makeup for you -- she was available throughout the entire ceremony to do touch-ups for my makeup, and I was thrilled with the results. Everything was picture perfect (literally) and we could not be happier.

San Juan anniversary photo shoot
I found Javier by doing a google search for San Juan photographers. My husband and I were on a cruise and we’re staying in San Juan for a few days afterwards and wanted to have an anniversary photo session done. Javier was very responsive throughout the whole process both leading up and during the photo session. The pictures turned out amazing and he got the edited pictures back to us very quickly after the session. I love his style and would recommend him to anyone wanting a photo session done while in the area or for shooting their wedding.

Made somebody who hates photos love them
Both my husband and I are not the photo taking type. Javier and crew made the whole process so much fun I forgot how much I hate my photo being taken. The results are breathtaking. The most common response to the video are tears. I am so happy to have these videos and pictures to share with my friend and family and to use to remember such an amazing day for the rest of our lives and beyond!

Javier and his team shot our photos and our video for our wedding on 3/16/19 at El
Castillo Serrallés in Ponce, Puerto Rico. We live in Florida and we’re a bit skeptical when hiring because of the distance. From the moment we made initial contact with Javier, he was professional and forth coming with all of the questions and concerns we had. The day of the wedding he arrived and delivered. We were amazed at the quality or his photography and the video left us speechless. Everything was beautiful and perfect.
We recommend Javier for photography and his team for the videography aspect. You will be so elated with the results as we were.

Amazing crew
My husband and I went to Puerto Rico to get married and take a vacation/ honeymoon. At first we weren’t even going to get a photographer or videographer but then changed our minds last minute. We called Javier the day before and thankfully, him and his crew took the job! They have such high standards and went above and beyond. They were excellent and I was ecstatic that I picked such awesome people in such a last minute situation. I have to say that I’m extremely happy with the work that they did. Amazing photography, I love how our pictures came out. The video was also amazing! They are very nice people and are very good at what they do. Their job comes natural to them. I would most definitely use them again. They definitely made our wedding more amazing by having such amazing pics and the video. Awesome people and great work!! Five stars

My husband and I were in puerto Rico and needed a photographer to take our wedding pictures. I found Javier on google and I decided to give him a call. He was very professional and work with us on a very short notice. The best part about it all is that he took us to amazing locations and give us a free tour of old San Juan after our session and dropped us off to our location. I will choose Javier again and again ...
Javier Olivero photographed my wedding in 2015. My experience in Love Story and in my wedding was amazing so now in 2018 I did not hesitate to call him to photograph my pregnancy. At all times Javier and his wife Olga Martinez pleased me with all the details I wanted to have in the photos. Both make an excellent team . Olga’s makeup and beautiful comb hair and Javier is at another level with its details in the photos. Without hesitation, the photographs of my baby when it is born will be taken by Javier.

Javier was all-around a great photographer and person. He was nothing short of professional while working with him for my surprise proposal in Puerto Rico. Not only did he capture the moment, but he took his time to get all angles without hesitation. He is extremely knowledgeable in lighting and angles while working quickly. I can't say enough about about Javier and his team!!! Javier was absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to work with. I knew he was the photographer I wanted from our first phone conversation. Not only was his work on his website beautiful, but he also has a very energetic, wonderful personality. I got a chance to meet met him in person when I visited Puerto Rico two months before my wedding. He brought all of the different types of wedding books he does. They were all beautiful and it was hard to choose! We talked about everything from lighting and different areas to take pictures to the wedding day timeline. Him and his team arrived early the day of the wedding and got right to work. The day of the wedding, we planned to take pictures in Old San Juan after the ceremony but the weather was not on our side. Javier was still able to give of absolutely beautiful pictures taken in different areas of the hotel. You know your photographer is good when your guests actually say it the day of the wedding and still talk about how good he was afterwards! He also sent our pictures quick!!! Its been a month since my wedding and I still have so many pictures to go through and choose for my wedding book! They are all beautiful so this may take a while. I definitely recommend using Javier.

Our experience with Javier, his wife and team was marvelous! They were very responsive, attentive, and super flexible and interested in our wants and needs! But thats not all... They worked our wedding day under big stress by our wedding planner and still gave an excellent and extremely professional service! In top of it, we can say it was professional and at the same time very very warm. Then, we got hit by two major hurricanes after our wedding, and their house got hit pretty bad, just as the rest of thr island, but that didn't stopped him from giving the usual and best extended service and delivered an AWESOME Photo Album with which we couldn't be happier!! Simply put - the best photographer! We could not have been happier with our entire experience and the photos from Javier. When we initially spoke to him on the phone, he gave us tips and recommendations for having the best photos. His composition and attention to detail during our engagement and wedding photos were impeccable. Our guests all commented on his professionalism and raved about our photos when we got them. Javier photographed my wedding brilliantly. The pictures turned out stunning and he went above and beyond what was asked. My wedding venue was not the easiest to get to, since it was on a small island only accessible by ferry. He gave great direction, and was very calm, professional, and enthusiastic. Javier did an amazing job and the proof is in the pictures! Highly recommend!

My family and I decided to hire a photographer during our vacation in Puerto Rico. We found Javier through Yelp, reviewed his reviews and previous work on his website, and gave him a call.
From the first conversation over the phone, I felt confident that Javier was the right choice. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional and has a real love for his home - San Juan.
Javier planned the entire photo shoot, gave us the time and place to meet, and photographed our family as he guided us on a walking tour of beautiful old San Juan. He was great to work with and was wonderful with our kids (8 and 10 years old). After the photos shoot, he recommended a nice Puerto Rican restaurant in the area a (La Barraccina)
The pictures he took were amazing. We couldn't settle on just 20, there were so many different poses and beautiful locations to choose from. We opted instead to pay an additional $149 for the whole package. It was well worth it.
