Jason was extremely easy to work with and listened to our budget concerns and helped us figure out what package would beat suit us. My now husband and I are beyond happy with our photos! I literally cannot stop looking at them. And he's like a ninja day of the wedding, barely feel that hes even there, so many memories he captured on my special day that I will cherish forever. Hire this guy for your big day or you're just crazy!!!

Jason was amazing. He was very good at getting us to react to different shots and look at him and get different angles. He inspired us to really get involved in the whole process. He shot our engagement and wedding photos, and he was very detail-oriented and was a lot of fun to work with. I liked how Jason was very spontaneous; he would think off the top of his head and use his surroundings as inspiration. We were a special type of customer (visually-impaired), and he had to give more detailed instructions because of our disability. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Jason was amazing!! He is not only the nicest guy in the world to work with, but also he is a very talented photographer. Jason really captured the essence of my son's bar mitzvah. The pictures were stunning, no moment was missed and the feeling jumped off the photos. Would highly, highly recommend him!!!

We just got our pictures back and the are BEAUTIFUL!!! Jason was wonderful to work with and he's so talented.

He caught some amazing moments that day and we'll treasure the photos forever. As an added bonus, if that possible, we received the pictures back just 2 weeks after the wedding! What a quick turn around!

Jason is very professional and creative in his approach. He will make you feel comfortable under the camera and has a great sense of humor. His shots are clear and precise. On the wedding day he is not always "visible" but is working diligently to make sure captured every detail. It's important to do the engagement session with him so you get to know one another prior to the big day.

I really enjoyed working with him and would recommend him highly.

Jason was fantastic to work with right from the first phone call. He was also extremely responsive and flexible to our needs during the whole process. Everything he said he would do he did and more! Jason was great to work with. He was professional and the finished product is beautiful - his pictures are great - he captured the tone and feeling of celebration at the party, and also captured the significance of the milestone with respect and gravitas without losing the playfullness that made the experience fun. Most importantly, the finished product - the pictures that will serve as our memory of the event - and their presentation are perfect!

Jason was the best "find" of all the Bar Mitzvah vendors! He was recommended to us by a friend, and he did not disappoint. The pictures are beautiful -- and neither the bar mitzvah boy nor his brother are very cooperative. Jason has a good personality and is super easy to work with. He managed to get all of our families to sit, smile, and look great -- no easy feat! We would highly recommend Jason, and look forward to using him again ourselves!

Jason was a dream to work with. He was extremely flexible and creative in doing announcement photos before the Bar Mitzvah (and with very little notice). He had ideas for photos that I would never have thought of. And the day of the bar mitzvah, he was there early, taking photos of the setup and the venue. We have so many photos to sort through and are having a hard time choosing as there are hundreds of soooo many wonderful photos to choose from. The memory box that the photos came with is unbelievable! Jason was flexible on meeting times, meeting locations, etc. I can't recommend his services enough!

Jason was awesome and gave us everything we could ask for with our session. We are a family of 7 with kids ranging in ages from 17 to 5 and Jason made the experience fun and engaging for the whole family and it showed in the photographs he took. We could not be more pleased with the whole experience and highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their family pictures taken.

Jason Weil is nothing short of the best wedding vendor we dealt with. His photography skills are top-notch. He is flexible and dedicated (he came super early to photograph the bridal party getting ready). And he was the most affordable photography we could find. His dedication made us feel like he was really there to capture our special day (not just another job). To top it off, he lives the modern world and would communicate with us via phone AND email, and he shared our engagement photos using Dropbox. We had absolutely no issues.

My wife and I highly recommend him.

(No seriously -- my average rating of movies on IMDB is about 6.4. I am a VERY critical person, and Jason exceeded our expectations)

Jason was such a pleasure to work with! My son had a blast during the 'sign in board' session and our entire family enjoyed working with him during our synagogue shoot and our celebration. He had great, creative ideas during our photo sessions. The finished product is amazing! It will be challenging to choose my favorite photos, they are all incredible! I highly recommend using him for any event.

Jason was personable and professional. He was creative in his photo choices. The final photos are beautiful . We only had him do the photos at the synagogue and not the party. For our next mitzvah we are going to have him for both!

Jason did 3 shoots for us -- a casual shoot in Glen Echo park which became two sign-in books at the reception, a sanctuary shoot, and an evening reception shoot, and we are thrilled with the photos. Working on putting together an album, now. He has a great way of interacting with teens, in particular. I looked at several vendors, and everyone who came recommended to me could all show me great finished work product, but I wanted someone who was going to be a fun person to work with, who was going to get along with twin teenagers and a 10 year old, and not have them be annoyed with him. Whatever photographer I chose was going to be "in our face" for anywhere between 9 and 11 total hours, when all was said and done. We really liked working with him. He'd take about 30 shots, and then take a goofy one -- which took the edge off the formality. Kept them going. Assuming the album turns out as I want it, I'm booking him for my youngest daughter's party in 2016. The only criticism I have is that we had 14 tables at our party, and he missed a few table shots. At my next party, I will give him a list of all the tables and have him check them off as he goes, just to make sure. Other than that, I am really very, very pleased with the photos and the memories. Too many good ones from which to choose!!

We used Jason for both our children's bar/bat mitzvahs. He is great to work with. Jason is very personable. He always has great ideas but also takes our ideas in to account. Everyone who has seen our pictures has loved them. Jason also has a lot of patience and always speaks calmly to guests that may not be cooperative. He is truly a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I met Jason at a wedding showcase a little under a year before our wedding. We were impressed by the quality of his photos, the wedding albums on display, and his personality. Jason worked with us to put together a custom package that fit our budget and expectations. During the shoots - engagement and wedding - Jason kept the mood light and worked quickly so we could spend more time celebrating with our guests. Soon after our event, we received a beautiful custom box with all of our proofs and a USB key with high and low-res proofs. It was difficult to narrow down our photos for our album, but Jason helped us with that, too. Our album came out exactly as we had hoped; we could not be more pleased!

We found Jason through a friend who used his services for her wedding. We were very impressed with the photos she showed us as well as his friendly, enthusiastic personality, so we hired him for our August wedding. Jason included an engagement photo session in his package. When we took the engagement photos at a park in Maryland (Jason’s wonderful suggestion), he made us feel comfortable and made the process fun.
On our wedding day, Jason took photos starting during the getting ready process (getting dressed at the venue) until the very end of the wedding reception. He provided full day coverage without the hourly fee other photographers charge so we didn’t have to worry about missing pictures throughout the day in an effort to save money. We provided Jason with a list of photos we wanted him to take at the wedding, and he was responsive. Jason had creative ideas for photos and was always patient and upbeat, even while taking quite a few family photos. Even without an aide, Jason seemed to be everywhere before and during the wedding, and took the photos for which we asked as well as many unexpectedly beautiful shots. Along with the photos, he provided an easy to use online link to share photos with our friends and family as well as a DVD of photos. Included on the DVD were high resolution, printable versions of each photo, and lower resolution photos for websites such as Facebook, or for email. We highly recommend Jason’s services.

Jason was fabulous in every way. I loved his personality, his professionalism, and his talent. When I first met him, he immediately put me at ease. I looked no further after I met him. When we photographed my engagement shoot, his same easy going nature made it easier for us to relax and get comfortable with the camera. The pictures came out GORGEOUS. He was extremely creative, his equipment was TOP OF THE LINE, and his editing job was flawless. The day of our wedding, his easy nature again relaxed everyone being photographed. He did a great job coordinating everyone as well - taking the stress off. He came very early and was set up without any troubles or anything going wrong. He photographed the entire wedding beautifully, and my family and I could not be happier with the way the pictures turned out. Jason is a dream to work with in every area and I highly recommend booking him. Don't think twice about it!

From the custom sign-in board photo shoot done about 6 months prior to her Bat Mitzvah through the "ceremony" session, family photos and the celebration/part photos - Jason was amazing! He truly captured our daughter in her best light and captured all of the feelings of excitement, pride and love that we had on that special day! The photos are beautiful - all 700+ of them! We have received countless compliments on the pictures with most of our guests noting that they can't believe how many photos were taken when no one noticed the photographer - he was everywhere without being at all intrusive. Very low key, no pressure. I told Jason what I was looking for and he provided it. Although his website offered packages, he tailored his charges to what I wanted. Photos were great!

First of all, Jason is very friendly, considerate, and generous!! I and my husband were really enjoying photo-shooting, because he always made us relaxed, smile and laugh a lot!! Even before the photo-shooting day, he kindly came over to our neighborhood and discussed details considering our requests. I really appreciate him not only for those beautiful pictures full of smile and laugh, but also for the wonderful memories he made for us on that day. I was so happy to meet him and receive fantastic pictures taken by him. I extremely recommend him to take wonderful pictures on a big day like wedding. I’m sure he is a professional photographer with a lot of skill of shooting photos of various poses and making the atmosphere relaxing and fun!! Jason, thank you sooooooooo much.

We hired Jason to do our engagement photos and he was amazing! He took his time, and made sure we got the best possible pictures. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and was very nice and genuine. We got our pictures back in 2 weeks as promised and they were perfect!!! My wedding is out of state but if it was local I would've definitely hired him for my wedding day!!!

Jason is an awesome photographer. He doesn't just take pictures. He is capable to create a piece of art. He took over 700 pictures in our Wedding Event and whoever saw his work asked us to give his number for future events. VERY much recommend to hire him for your event!

I really loved working with Jason as our wedding photographer. I found him by chance online, but I was very drawn to the bold colors in his pictures. The best things about working with Jason: (1) He includes an engagement session with his packages. This gave us a great opportunity to get to know each other and figure out how best to work with each other before the big day. (2) He stuck around the whole time. He arrived at the hotel where we were getting ready a bit early, dealt with some unexpected circumstances (power outage) and stayed until it was over. (3) He managed the family and bridal party for me. Instead of having to stand around and yell for people, he went off of my list of must have photos and got everyone who needed to be there in the right place at the right time. (4) After the wedding we were taking pictures and he heard I was hungry, so he made sure to be extra efficient and he got us out of there in less than an hour. (5) I don\'t remember him taking pictures at the ceremony (which was in a church) or really even at the reception, but he had pictures of everything. He is very good at being unobtrusive, but still getting the shot. (6) The pictures included all of the standard shots that you would want/expect, but he also threw in some more creative pictures that look amazing. (7) He took great pictures!

Jason did both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. He even gave us an additional day for engagement photos when we requested to bring our dog! He is VERY fast in getting our photos to us and we loved working with him! His pricing is VERY reasonable and he is professional, flexible in timing and very approachable! We love him!

I really thought jason did a wonderfull job taking pictures at our wedding. The pictures that we have to look thru to decide which ones we would like to put in out album. the samples that he showed us before we decided to use hime were awsome and really diffrent. I would really consider using hime again if we had another event.

Jason did both our engagement and wedding photography. He is both extremely talented and extremely professional, and for someone like me who does not normally enjoying being photographed a lot, he was a relaxing presence to have around all day at the wedding.
He came up with some great shots of quiet moments my husband and I were able to steal throughout the day, and I cannot wait to see the finished product in a few weeks! The engagement pictures were also a great idea (and come with his wedding packages) and they were a wonderful way to start out the wedding process and also get to know Jason more.
I highly reccomend Jason to future brides, he is a joy to work with and I am thrilled with the final product!

We had interviewed and poured through quite a few photographers for our wedding. Jason was recommended by a friend of ours who had gotten married a year prior, and we loved his work from their wedding. Jason's work is both excellent and artistic. While most of the photographers took technically good photographs, Jason's work stood out because he has such an excellent eye for his material as well as his technical capabilities as a photographer. When you hire Jason, you get an artist and not just a photographer. I also want to especially mention that he is professional, courteous, and prompt at all times, and it is clear that he loves his work. I also want to mention that our wedding occurred during the biggest snowstorm in the Washington Area in years, and that Jason was able to make it on time. I highly recommend Jason; he is truly excellent.

From the very start, Jason Weil was a wonderful photographer to work with. He was very easy going and it was all a very relaxing experience! He got every shot i requested and provided us with many more that we are just thrilled about! He really was able to capture moments that are so small but mean so much on your wedding day, he has a great eye for detail. We used Jaosn Weil Photography for our engagement as well as our wedding photos and we were so glad we did. Working with Jason from the begging was a very easy process as he guided us along. He provided us with many samples of his work so that we were able to discuss exactly what we would like. He was also very helpful in deciding what package worked for us. Jason was very prompt in returning any call or email. The photos of our wedding were ready and posted in no time at all. Our family was extremely happy with how they turned out!

Jason did my daughter's wedding last year, and the pictures are absolutely beautiful! His ideas for the shots were fantastic, not just the run-of-the-mill wedding photos. He put a lot of time and thought into the pictures, and worked with my daughter and her fiance getting their input. Jason was great! Very accomodating and did a wonderful job taking lots of pictures of guests as well as venue and the attention around the bride. He took clear pictures and his lighting was very well done. The pictures looked bright and colorful. He was artistic in his selection and placement of pictures in the album When I need to get in contact with Jason, either email or phone- he always responded with courtesy and promptness. He was very professional.

It was very important for us to feel comfortable, calm and have fun with being photographed. Jason allowed this! Jason and his assistant who is sweet as can be made a great team in making our day perfect. The pleasant manner made us feel very comfortable and calm during the most exciting and wonderful parts of our day. We also did our causal photos with Jason and that was so much fun. He is very creative and has an eye for a great shot. The photos just turned out fabulous. All of the pictures that were taken will be moments and memories that we hold close to our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Jason is a true professional and artist with an easy-going personality who makes the otherwise tedious (and sometimes grueling) process of a bat/bar mitzvah really fun. I say artist because his work is creative, beautiful, and fun (candids), whether he is taking photos outside weeks before the event, at the synagogue, or at the celebration. He has a fantastic eye and really enjoys working with teenagers (who wouldn't?) He is flexible and responds to any requests, which is difficult to find in artists. He works quickly and efficiently but does not rush his clients at all. He knows the area so well and had terrific ideas for outdoor photography. Jason is also very responsive over email and phone, coordinating session times, photo review sessions, you name it. Photography is expensive, but his prices and packages are very reasonable. He had a calming effect on our family during a hectic, stressful time because of his obvious love for what he does and his years of experience shooting event photography. His reputation is stellar, which we knew when we hired him. We really enjoyed working with him and he was a bright spot in the vendor line-up. At the party, he was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, which is to say that he was not intrusive at all, and yet he was there for every great shot. (How did he do that?) Jason is very entrenched in the Greater DC area (suburbs), having grown up here. He has great, longstanding relationships with synagogues in the area (which are much less flexible than he is). I wouldn't work with anyone else. I have no doubt that his wedding photography is equally as fantastic! Two very big thumbs up!

As an artist myself, I was in search of a photographer with a bit of a unique style. Looking through Jason's work I knew he'd be the right choice for my son's Bar Mitzvah. Not only is he super easy to communicate with, very accommodating and overall a real pleasure to work with, he brings creativity as well as beauty to his photos. Our venue was not the easiest of places to capture everything we wanted, but Jason worked his magic and delivered fabulous images. It's going to be difficult to choose for the album! We are so very pleased with the work Jason has done for us, and we've already got him booked for our next Bar Mitzvah!

Jason was great! I found him a wedding/bar mitzvah expo and I knew right away he would be the right photographer for us. He was so nice and friendly at the expo, and didn't feel like a salesman at all. It's important to have a good vibe with your photographer, he/she will be with you all day! He did an amazing job both at our engagement session, but also for almost 12 hours on our wedding day! He provided us with over 1,100 beautiful photos. I didn't have to worry about having the right mix of pictures. We have amazing portraits as well so many beautiful and fun candid photos throughout the day. My husband and I are incredibly pleased with our photos. We would definitely recommend Jason to anyone!

Yes, yes, and yes! Jason is a true professional. My family and I initially booked another photographer who then completely stopped responding to our emails as soon as she received her hefty deposit. That experience was so disappointing and unsettling that my father actually considered buying his own professional camera and taking a photography course... lol!

We approached Jason with some trepidation, but he assuaged our fears with his kind and professional mannerism, glowing weddingwire reviews and willingness to accept the bulk of payment for his services after the wedding.

We met for the first time a few days before the wedding to discuss expectations and ideas; Jason also provided a timeline for the day. On the day of the wedding, he did a lovely job taking pictures without being intrusive and handled everything with a great sense of humor. He posted over 1,000 pictures on his website as soon as my father's transfer went through, and now I'm excitedly awaiting the USB of our beautiful wedding shots!

The quality of work that Jason provided for our wedding was phenomenal!!! He captrued special moments at my wedding that I was not aware of and I was in the picture. He was great to work with. I highly recommend Jason Weil Photography. Jason is a true professional and is completely committed to his craft and his clients. He photographed our daughter's Bat Mitzvah in Leesburg, VA on a day when 10+ inches of snow fell. The beltway was a complete standstill and it literally took him all day to get to our event. He was in touch with us throughout the day to update his ETA as well as to reassure us of his determination to be there for us. Several of our guests who live much closer to the venue weren't able to attend but as promised, Jason was there. I am certain that many others might have turned around to go home, but Jason captured memories and delivered wonderful photos which we are so happy and grateful to have. The engagement session that was included gave us a chance to get to know him and his style. His wedding day photos were creative and moving. This was the second time we used Jason for a Mitzvah. He does great work and we are very happy with the results.

Jason was recommended to us through a friend. We were pleased with the work he did and thought his prices were reasonable. He is definitely an artist, so when he sees an opportunity for a great picture, he will make sure to get it. It was helpful to have the engagement photo session, and we ended up with some great pictures that we used in our Save the Dates! He also made sure to get pictures of everyone we wanted at the wedding and we definitely kept him busy doing so. But in the process, we ended up with fewer close up / artistic shots of my husband and I. Overall, though, we were pleased with the pictures and thought the value for cost was excellent!
