Excellent experience with Jason!

Friendly, professional, and easy going, Jason is a true pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, we felt comfortable with Jason and his genuine curiosity and thoughtfulness. He was easy to communicate and coordinate with. He captured beautiful moments from the ceremony and did a great job taking candid and posed photos. He made what could be a stressful experience very easy and fun. We loved working with Jason and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Jason is a great photographer to work with. He was a recommendation from a friend, and my wife and I are certainly glad we chose him as our wedding photographer. Jason also did an engagement shoot with us as well. He is easy to communicate with, and he has a very calm demeanor, which is certainly appreciated during all of the hustle of the wedding day. He was able to get all the shots we requested, and during my wife and I's first look, he was able to herd all of our family and friends together and stick to the timeline that we needed him to. He even went above and beyond and shuttled me back and forth to the location where we took pictures on our wedding day. My wife and I look forward to seeing our wedding photos, but we have no doubt that they will be excellent.

We hired Jason Putsche Photography for my husband's grandfather's (Saba) 100th birthday party. Quite something to celebrate. They captured the best of the event--candids and portraits--with all ages (from >1 year old to 100) for the entirety of the party. We were so pleased with the pictures, and Saba holds them dear.

We loved having Jason at our wedding. He was extremely accommodating and patient. He also did a great job quickly and concisely letting guests know where and how to stand and position themselves for photos. He appeared completely at ease at an LGBT wedding and seemed more like a friend than our photographer. He has a great, open, friendly personality. We couldn't have asked for more. We haven't seen the pictures, yet, but I'm so excited to see the ideas he came up with!

Jason and Ella did an amazing job on our photos. They captured so many fabulous photos of us, our bridal party, our family and our friends. They have a journalistic style so they captured all of the precious images of the action, including the dance floor. They reviewed my Pinterest pins and made sure to get some of the more creative posed pictures. I highly recommend adding an extra hour or two to get the best value! Some of our favorite pictures came at the end of the night.

Jason got the best out of us both. The special time he spent with our dog resulted in the most incredible results. Jason understood our short timeframe for arranging the wedding after DOMA was overturned. We were in DC for a short time and had to move quickly--Jason was very understanding.

When planning my wedding the photographer was the most important part for me. I reviewed several before deciding to use Jason. He did both our engagement pictures and our wedding. To say that we were pleased with Jason & Ella's work would be a gross understatement! We are absolutely in love with every image from our day, and thrilled that they were able to capture the spirit of our wedding on film. I always tell people that one of my favorite things about our photographers was that I never heard a single shutter click during our ceremony. I was pretty sure that they hadn't taken any photos of us actually getting married- boy was I wrong. The images from our wedding are absolutely stunning and take us right back to the moment every time we look through them.

From our first meeting, to today and onward as we continue to order more prints and albums- every interaction with them has been outstanding. They are responsive and very timely and courteous. Their pricing is definitely competitive. There are a lot of beautiful wedding photos in the world, and I genuinely hope that every bride feels that theirs are the most stunning. I know that I do! With all of the details that go into planning a wedding- the only thing that you really get to keep are your photos and I know we absolutely made the best choice when selecting our photographer. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Jason and Ella for our wedding in October of 2012. They were very low-key and laid back, while providing the highest quality of service. The end product (over 1200 photos) met and exceeded our expectations; they did a phenomenal job of capturing the spirit of the ceremony and the reception. Between the great service and the reasonably priced and flexible package, we would certainly recommend them to our friends and family.

Both Jason and Elizabeth were great to work with!
We worked with them for both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We were so happy with the pictures.

We found some inspiration on-line of pictures we liked and showed them to J&E. They made sure in capture those shots for us as well and they turned our
great!

One of the GREAT thing about working with them was the turnaround time of when we got the pictures back. I've heard horror stories from people who had to wait months (and by that I mean 6+ months) to get their pictures back. J&E had our pictures to us within THREE WEEKS!

We loved working with them and will certainly be working with them again in the future!

Jason and Ella did a phenomenal job with our photos. They came up with creative shots and also helped bring out our personalities, which helps when you're smiling for so many photos! We LOVED working with Jason and Ella, the fabulous husband/wife team! They were so fun and engaging - it was like having a bunch of friends take pictures of us all day. Jason was the photographer for our wedding in July. He was outstanding! It was 100 degrees and he still got amazing pictures inside and outside! I just can't say it enough - Jason is an amazing photographer! He is so easy to work with. His vision and talent are so unique. I feel like he genuinely wants to take the best photos possible, not just snap a few pictures and collect a check. He has photographed 3 of my friend's weddings as well - all were different, and he adapted to each bride's style with ease. I have only seen the 'preview' of our photos so far - and even if those 10 or so are the only ones that turned out, I would be satisfied. I can't wait to see all of them! I'm not sure we have enough frames and wall space in our house!

We opted for the '2nd photographer' - definitely recommend it! Ella, Jason's wife, also seamlessly fits into the festivties. It's nice to know they are taking so many pictures without being obstructive. When it came time to do the formal photos - they were able to take control and get them done in a timely fashion.

The price is very reasonable - and I would pay three times the amount to have them photograph our wedding! A wedding day only happens once, and you can't take back bad photography. After seeing the work he had done for my friends - I didn't care how much it cost. The photos are minimially 'tweaked' if at all. I have noticed many photographers will make a photo look better with the help of editing software, but in this case - they are quality from the start!

My husband I were engaged for about 6 years before finally tying the knot... We wanted a very small, laid-back dinner to celebrate our marriage. We honestly weren't even considering hiring a photographer because it was just meant to be such a simple party. But, as the date approached, I started to regret my decision and began searching. I stumbled upon Jason's site somehow and loved his photos! After contacting him and getting a quote, we hired him. He was wonderful to work with! We insisted on having no posed pictures, as we wanted the informal atmosphere to remain throughout the party. (We wound up submitting to a couple, but other than that, it was all candid). We couldn't be happier with our photos! Capturing our night with nothing but candid shots had to be a challenge, but Jason did an amazing job! I would recommend him and hire him again for any event.

I checked out a number of photographers in the area and, at the end of that process, it was clear that Jason was the right photographer for us! I wish I'd saved myself the time and chosen him right from the start! Jason is a great wedding photographer for many reasons: 1) his photography is beautiful and timeless, 2) he has a way of discovering just what a couple is looking for in terms of their wedding day photography, and 3) he was so easy and wonderful to work with! Jason was super-fast in getting our wedding photos back to us, which was a huge plus! We found his turn-around time to be significantly faster than many other photographers. We were dying to see our photos and we hardly had to wait for them! And, he captured our special day just the way we wanted him to. Our pictures are perfect and are a joy to look at. The day was such a whirlwind, but he captured moments in such a way that we can relive the day over and over by scrolling through our photos. I can't say enough how awesome Jason was to work with! I would highly recommend him to any bride.

One of the hardest wedding planning tasks for me was picking out a photographer. Thank goodness my original chose fell through because I would not have stumbled across Jason. Jason has been not only been professional but he is creative in his photography style. I have not received my final album, but based on the sneak preview of the pictures I am confident the pictures will be beautiful. After ALL of the money spent to make my wedding day special my memory of it is so fuzzy as it goes by so quickly, but with Jason's awesome photos I will be able to have a long last memory of my wedding day. I would reccommend Jason to anyone for any occasion.

Jason was flexible and made the process of taking and getting pics fun and easy. The pictures are incredible - capturing the joy and love of the day, as well as the food. It's also great for our family and friends to be able to view the pictures online. We hired Jason after he shot my wife's cousin's wedding and we saw how great a job he did. I was extremely pleased with his performance throughout the entire process. He spends more time and effort on his clients than any other photographer I've heard of, based on the conversations I've had with other married couples.

Months before the wedding he drove to our house to discuss a very thorough plan to make sure he was meeting our expectations (not to sell us anything). He scouted the venue in advance to plan out the locations of the shoot, and was incredibly polite, professional, and fun throughout. He was very responsive to our questions and kept in touch exactly as much as needed. He got all the shots he needed without being intrusive and he helped made a stressful day enjoyable.

Everything was delivered on time and the quality of the photos was exceptional. I absolutely could not ask for more.

Jason did an awesome job photographing our wedding. Leading up to the wedding he was always prompt in answering any emails or questions I had. (Way more prompt than I was in responding to him!) Our initial planning meeting was also great. Jason took a lot of time to go over all the options and details with us. He was also incredibly flexible in helping us to choose exactly what services we wanted for a great price. Compared to a lot of photographers, I think Jason's services are a GREAT value. Photography can get crazy expensive, but Jason's prices were completely reasonable. If you're thinking about doing engagement photos, I definitely recommend doing those with Jason because it's a great way to get to know him and get comfortable with him prior to the wedding. As for our actual wedding day, Jason did a great job of getting the shots we wanted and lots that we didn't even think of! Looking back at the pictures, I'm amazed at how much he was able to capture. It seems like he managed to be everywhere at once. Jason's also very laid back and funny, which was a huge plus for me. I didn't want our pictures (or any aspect of our wedding) to feel too stuffy, and Jason did an awesome job of keeping everything relaxed and moving smoothly. Thanks, Jason!

I recommend Jason to any bride! Jason was punctual, professional and laid back! He did exactly what I wanted. Cheesy or not, he captured the "emotion of my day." Things we didn't get to see because we were off in the crowd saying our hellos or eating (yes, we actually ate!) we get to enjoy because we have the pictures to prove it! When our pictures were ready Jason said he would bring them on a disc to our house and hook up the computer for a slide show. Jason had no problem with me inviting a ton of people that night. I ordered pizza and even got cupcakes from the place that did the wedding cupcakes. We had an amazing time laughing and seeing all of the moments we had missed and the beautiful pictures of us as as newlyweds. There is not a better photographer on the planet!!

Jason went above and beyond for me. He created a package that fit my needs perfectly. We had a very small wedding and I wanted to keep it very casual. Jason was so wonderful to work with, very friendly and professional. Knowing that he was working our wedding made our day less stressful. He knew how to blend in and get terrific pictures without being intrusive. He was so kind and funny that everyone wanted their picture taken. He was very patient with the children and the adults who act like children.

The albums and pictures are all fantastic and his prices were very reasonable. Some of the pictures he captured were just phenomenal and looking at them brings tears to my eyes. We saw unexpected beauty in places I never imagined, pictures that show off the talent Jason has as a photographer.

We reviewed and interviewed several photographers for our wedding and knew immediately that Jason Putsche was the best for us. His meticulous focus on detail was evident in his demo albums. His personality and demeanor reflected his thoughtful approach to his work. As an interracial couple, photography can be challenging. Jason proved that he understood the appropriate lighting techniques and showed evidence of this. Finally, we expressed our desire to have mostly candid shots to help us remember the love and laughter of the evening.

From start to finish, Jason met our expectations. In fact, he exceeded them! The final production of pictures were delivered in a lovely portfolio with his favorite pics adorning the cover. The ensuing 1,000+ photos that he selected for the final collection were absolutely perfect - each and every one of them!

Jason did an amazing job with the photography for our wedding. He was flexible and accommodating to our requests. His pictures are of the highest quality and he has great ideas for poses. He does well capturing the traditional with a modern flare. I was very pleased with his service and the fact that we received a CD with all of the pictures from our big day. Jason is very friendly, professional, and talented. I was coming in from out of town for my wedding and Jason was very flexible in meeting with me. He was very accommodating and took pictures before the wedding through until the end of the wedding. He was flexible with taking both posed and natural photos. Our guests loved being able to view the pictures online. Both my mother and I got albums and we love them!

Jason was great! He'd come highly recommended from my cousin, who'd used his services for her wedding. Jason was great because I wanted the wedding to be very enjoyable, stress-free, and not totally planned out--I didn't have lists for the pictures or anything like that---but he picked up on everyone and got some great shots! We haven't put our album together yet, though...there are just too many good pictures from which to choose.

I could not have been happier with my wedding photos! Jason was very receptive to my husband and my needs. He made everything so easy and captured our wedding exactly the way we wanted it. Our photos turned out beautifully! We even enlarged several abstract photos he had taken and hung them above our bar. Everyone comments on them! My 2 best friends have also used Jason Putsche Photography for their weddings and we all would recommend him to anyone in need of a great photographer!

Excellent photography work. High quantity of shots (to get the best of the special moments) w/ high quality throughout.
Jason was extremely professional and courteous throughout our event, even making sure that other guests had the opportunity to take their own pictures.
He did not pressure us with regards to 'sales' and offers a lot for what is paid.
All I can say about the flexibility piece is that we had several things get in the way of our engagement shoot and he has been completely open to moving it to a post-wedding timeframe to now being a family shoot with our brand new baby!

Jason Putsche was increadilble felxible and willing to make the drive for our in-state, outdoor, destination wedding. He arrived early to capture all of the pre-wedding preparations. And, he stayed late to ensure every guest was captured and we were completely satisified. People are still talking about our wedding and love to revisit the weekend by looking at our pictures! I would recommend Jason to any bride as he is timely, professional, creative, artistic, and reasonable priced. We are expecting our first child in June and can't wait to see what creative newborn shots he will capture for us then!

Jason was wonderful to work with. We used his services for both the photography at the wedding, as well as some engagement pictures. He is very easy going and mellow, which can be a very big comfort when things start to get a little hectic at the event! He stays calm and just keeps moving, seriously, I don't think he stopped moving once! He would get multiple views of the same shot or climb up on top of a chair to get a neat perspective too. The pictures turned out fabulous. He is not pushy, allowing some very candid and natural pictures to become the result. At the same time though he has an eye for knowing some neat poses or picture setting ideas, so it was all in all a great turnout of shots.
Looking back over the pictures of the reception really helped to show how much effort he puts in to covering the whole party, not just staying in one spot. Before the wedding, he was always very fast to respond to any questions I emailed to him or reply to any messages left.
I have recommended him multiple times since our event, and he is actually going to do the photographs at my brothers ceremony, so needless to say, we are thrilled with his work!

I couldn't have asked for more when it comes to Jason. First off he was easy to talk to and work with. He responded to questions and requests quickly. His pricing is very reasonable, and you get value for your dollar. As far as his work goes: never noticed him during the ceremony, he efficiently got through the formal shots so we could get to our party, and captured priceless moments of our friends and family. He even set up a little slide show of photos he had taken earlier in the day (very cool.)
I still get compliments on how he conducted himself, in the thick of the party but not obnoxious, blending in with the guests.
I would highly recommend him.

Jason did a great job with everything. Jason was super easy to work with and always responded right away to phone calls and e-mails. Our wedding pictures turned out fantastic. Everyone who attended our wedding commented on how great he was and wonderful our pictures were. We also did an engagement session with him and could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out.

Jason was an amazing wedding photographer!
I love my pictures and still enjoy showing them off two years later. He did a wonderful job with the posed pictures. Jason managed to capture some awesome action shots of the reception. Jason is an excellent photographer - definitely one of the best in my opinion! He took our engagement pictures last Halloween and they all turned out beautiful! We didn't think twice about asking him to be our wedding photographer. That was actually the first thing we planned for our wedding!

Jason has a charming personality and can blend in with any crowd. He has so many unique ideas to create fun photos as well as the timeless classics. Jason spent a great deal of time with us to customize those ideas with our interests, so we ended up with special photos that were just right for us. We had a mix of color, black & white and even color touches on B&W images. We had so many amazing photos that it was hard to choose which ones were the best.

When it comes to photography, especially for something as important as a wedding, I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Jason was an exceptional addition to our day. Recommended by a friend who had a seaside wedding, we used Jason for our downtown, waterfront event as well as our engagement photos. We asked for a ton of candids, as we were not going to have a videographer (by choice) and Jason was right on it. In the end, we have over 2000 photographs of our night and they don't disappoint. Further, Jason's pricing is exceptional. We interviewed no less than 4 photographers and none even came close to the pricing. We also added a second photographer for coverage and we still saved money. I will use Jason for every event in our future.

Jason was wonderful! He was able to honor all of my requests and had great suggestions during the wedding. It felt like he was not even there but managed to get great shots! I loved how there was a slideshow of the pictures that he took on a laptop in the back of the reception for all the guest to see. I received many compliments from my guests that they enjoyed seeing the pictures that quickly. I have and will recommend Jason again to my friends!

Finding a photographer who is willing to let you have as little or as much input as you like is near impossible; finding one who can do this and still produce amazing results...priceless. Jason truly understands how important a wedding day is to both the bride and the groom. Our photo collection contains everything from the hidden moments behind the scenes to the beautifully composed formal shots. We have never worked with someone who is so detail oriented and yet so flexible. Jason went above and beyond before, during and after our wedding to make sure that we were truly happy with the results. I was so lucky to have secured Jason for our engagement photos as well as our wedding day photography. Being on a budget, I was nervous about what I could afford when it came to photography, which also happened to be one of the most important things to me. After seeing a friend's wedding pictures online, I asked who she used - she referred me to Jason and had nothing but glowing reviews about his work.

Jason worked with our budget to provide engagement photos (over 100) and was there for our entire wedding day, from getting dressed at ~3 pm to the end of our reception at midnight. He was unobtrusive, yet got shots of the wedding ceremony, details and wedding guests that truly embodied feeling of the day. Jason was more than happy to work with my list of photo requests and take photos I cherish now, and had no idea I wanted at the time.

My guests still rave about the computer he had set up at the reception which displayed pictures he had taken earlier in the day at my house getting ready and during the wedding ceremony.

Jason not only touched up the images on our disk from our wedding (over 600 photos), he also gave us our photos incredibly quickly, as we were heading back to Chicago after returning from our honeymoon. After the dust settled, I looked through the photos again and noticed that I was missing a photo from the father-daughter dance in which my mouth wasn't gaping open (i was trying to laugh instead of cry!). I contacted Jason, who then sent me his other images of the dance, which were not prefect due to his critical photography eye, but contained the image of my dad and I that I hoped for. His willingness to work with me and my husband to ensure our satisfaction is only one of the many reasons I would recommend Jason to anyone in a heartbeat. His quality photographs, his professional, yet personal touch, and his ability to capture images that still make me laugh and tear up solidifies the fact that Jason's photography was some of the best money - and a great value- I spent for my wedding day.

Jason and his assistant, Rachel, were phenomenal to work with. While I knew they were documenting our wedding, they never once got in the way. Their artistic abilities are amazing. Their work is unique and they never missed an important moment. Jason and Rachel were everywhere throughout the night and got a picture of EVERYTHING! My husband and I got married at the Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, MD in Sept. 2012 and we hired Jason to do our photos (he also did my s-i-l's wedding).

When you hire Jason, he dedicates that day to you and your day; he doesn't book any other weddings that day. He's very polite, friendly, professional, good with pets and kids, and though he's laid-back and easy-going, he's everywhere, taking photos of the bridal party, groomsmen, families and guests, as well as the decor and setting. He has a great eye for detail, composition, and special-moments-in-the-making and takes beautiful and memorable shots. He's very unobtrusive, often fading into the background; I barely noticed him during the wedding and reception, though I could see by the 900+ photos he gave me that he was just about everywhere! And unlike pics you get from some photographers, most of those photos were so good that it was difficult to choose between them for an album.

Jason also kept in touch with us from the start, answering any questions we had within 24 hours (usually in 12 or less) and even sent us a reminder that we'd need to nail down more details and specifics as we got closer to the wedding date. When planning for your wedding, he makes sure to get a rough schedule of your event so he has an idea of what to look for and gets a list of photos you absolutely must have. He missed one my mother-in-law wanted of her descending the stairs, but got every other one we asked him for.

Jason has so much confidence in his photography (and rightly so) that, if there's room at your event, he can set up a laptop that will display the photos he's already taken while he continues to take more. You and your guests can see the event through his lens and see the quality of his work!

He also got our photos to us in a timely manner (a couple of weeks).

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Jason and highly recommend him!

I have used Jason as the photographer for 6 events in the past 8 months. He is an absolute joy to work with. Many others in my office sing his praises. He is extremely professional and works hard to make the client and the subjects of his photographs feel at ease.

Regardless of what he is doing, he always manages to get great shots. How he finds and is able to record those special moments....the ones that may not be the center of attention is truly what sets him apart and makes him quite talented.

Jason was absolutely wonderful! He came to our house early to photograph everyone and stayed late into our reception to show us some photographs he had taken on his laptop! Jason was very easy to work with, very kind, reasonable rates, and good quality photos. I recommend getting some pictures with the B&W film- those were our favorites. We were pleased with our wedding album, too. I don't have much to compare him too (first wedding and most hopefully the last!), but I do highly recommend him.
