It takes a very special person to capture the most magical day of your life the way Jannette did. The energy she came with for us was ELECTRIC. She made us feel so relaxed, so loved and so confident.
I have been amazed by Jannette and her team since our very first interaction. When I was searching for photographers I reached out to Jannette and heard back from her almost immediately. We first met her and her husband, Michael, when they took our engagement photos. We had never had professional pictures done and they made us feel and look like models.
Almost every person that attended our wedding had something incredible to say about her. One single day after our wedding we had an entire album of photos. I dont know when she sleeps because she works so quickly its literally magic. Her work is worth a million dollars. Jannette and her team are amazing at communicating with you. I dont know if there is anyone better. I hope you chose Jannette and are as lucky as we are to have had her. -

Best photographers ever!
Jannette and Michael are champions! They were great at orchestrating all the photos and making it a fun experience! The shots look STUNNING. They nailed the outdoor lighting and getting cinematic shots! They made the dreaded family photos so easy (lol) and captured just the most incredible shots. They are also SO kind and easy to work with and alleviated stress. -

Working with Jannette De Llanos Wedding Photography was incredible from day one. Her team was extremely responsive, easy to reach, and so patient with all of my questions. Her experience at our venue immediately put me at ease and made me feel completely confident in choosing her and her team.
On our wedding day, her team shot everything beautifully, and Michael, our lead photographer, was truly outstanding. I could sing his praises all day long. He brought such a calm, confident presence to the day and guided us effortlessly through each moment. The way he helped pose us felt natural and fun, never forced, and I can’t help but smile every time I look at our photos as they genuinely look like they came straight out of a magazine.
Even the sneak peek alone left me blown away. Michael and the team captured every key moment and every little detail so beautifully, all while blending in seamlessly. Nothing ever felt staged or like a production, yet they managed to be everywhere they needed to be at exactly the right time.
Jannette’s attention to detail in the editing process is truly unmatched. She is incredibly fast yet never cuts a single corner, and every image is refined to perfection.

Just what you need/want ... a photographer who listens to what you'd like, adds things you "forgot" and then is invisible until you see the magic. Jannette (who is bilingual, which our wedding couple needed) captured the beautiful setting at Dream Bay Resort, the wedding party, the guests (two families) and each special moment. Both were so responsive and organized leading up to the wedding day. Our pictures were natural and not overly posed. Both were such a calming presence and were so efficient getting photos done with our large wedding party. Jannette also keeps an emergency kit with floss etc that was really handy. The very first vendor we booked after we selected Islamorada as our wedding destination was Jannette -- and it was the easiest decision to make. Jannette and Michael really do make the wedding dream team a reality. It is clear from every second you. spend with them that they know weddings - and more importantly, they know people - like their second nature, and they will spend every second of your wedding day making you feel comfortable, beautiful, and relaxed. Not once did I see Jannette or Michael seem anything other than happy to be there, and we had a complete and total blast taking photos with them. And the photos speak for themselves. They captured our moments with so much care and love, and they took time to guide us through all the little moments we never would have thought of. We laughed our asses off, we cried happy tears, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of working with Jannette and Michael both. You would be crazy not to book them as the very first item on your to do list! PS - Michael is from Boston, so if you're from Boston too -- it's a match made in heaven. -

I booked Jannette and Michael for my destination wedding in Key Largo, FL. I could not be more pleased!! From the beginning, they were extremely responsive, professional, and answered all of my questions. Along the way, they were an amazing resource for recommended vendors and were open to giving any advice I could use planning a destination wedding. On wedding day, they showed up on time and got right to work. They were organized, calm, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Jannette & Michael were both always available & fantastic in addressing our inquiries & staying in touch the entire time till even after our wedding day. As for the day of the wedding, Jannette & Michael were professional & provided a structure to capture the moments of our big day. Their genuine desire to preserve the special moments was evident. It's more than beautiful photos--Jannette gave us a beautiful experience
Can't recommend Jannette, or her partner Michael, enough for your wedding photography! Really and truly, they went above and beyond any expectation we'd ever had for our wedding photography--and not just because the photos were more gorgeous than we'd imagined, but because they were so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We loved our wedding so much, and basically the second it was over we were worried about forgetting what it all felt like. That worry disappeared the moment we saw Jannette's photographs. She and Michael did an unbelievable job of capturing what it FELT like to be at our wedding. You feel the joy and love coming out of the photos, and there's so much movement and laughter and warmth. It's seriously crazy how beautiful all of the colors are in our wedding photos; Jannette's editing made everything look so efffortlessly vibrant, just genuinely magical.
Jannette made both of us feel so confident in front of the camera (not a feeling I'm used to! But Jannette really helps you feel so relaxed and present), and she had so many amazing ideas for poses that felt really natural and easy to follow. She was super kind with directing us, and she not only made sure we had a nice range of dramatic photos and candids, which I really appreciate, but she also made sure that the couple portraits felt like getting a private moment to ourselves. I never expected the pre-ceremony photos to be a space that felt grounding or calming, but Jannette's warm energy really let the two of us feel like we were getting a moment to just enjoy each other before the actual wedding. We're really grateful for that. She and Michael were both so patient, quick, and unfailingly kind throughout the entire process. They immediately put everyone in the wedding party and family pictures at ease, and I think you can see that in the photographs.
Seriously could go on and on, but the long and short of it is that Michael and Jannette felt like a caring and calming presence at our wedding. When everything feels hectic day-of, and you're being tugged in a million logistical directions at once, they have a knack for making you feel steady and in-the-moment. Couldn't imagine our wedding day without them!! -

After speaking with Michael on the phone, I (the bride) knew we were in good hands for our wedding day, and that's when I really got excited about our wedding as he truly helped me envision it. We had a great time working with Jannette and Michael! Our chat early on was great as they were flexible and got a sense of what we were looking for, including us not wanting a first look or getting ready photos. As two guys getting married, the getting ready wasn't as important to us so it was great to have flexibility of when to start the photography. One the day, part of our wedding party was running a little late to our meet up, but Jannette was awesome at again being flexible and starting with who was there to get the shots we wanted. She did a great job of directing what was needed for the photo and also exploring some spontaneity! The turnaround for the sneak peak was unbelievable! Within days we were already sent hundreds of photos that looked stunning. Everything turned out exactly like we wanted and they truly captured out special day the way we would want it. -

I am not a huge fan of getting my picture taken. I hired Jannette based on the recommendation of my wedding planner (Frond & Feather) Jannette and Michael were very easy to work with and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I was sort of convinced I didn’t really need a photographer and I am so glad I didn’t listed to myself! They managed to capture the love we had for each other and our family/friends in every picture. The weather wasn’t cooperating and I was worried the pictures wouldn’t be as good. I couldn’t have been more wrong! There was not a single bad picture in the sneak peek and I am anxiously awaiting the final pictures from the evening. I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their perfect day and all the feels captured in photos! -

Jannette and her team were absolutely AMAZING! She made pictures so easy. She arrived early on my wedding day to be sure she could collect all details for shots. She made everyone feel so calm on such a crazy day. My husband isn’t a picture guy and she made everyone feel so comfortable taking pictures and got such beautiful photos. We got our sneak peeks back in one day and we got SO MANY pictures at this time. Her editing makes everything look so natural. She got every detail from vow books to flower petals and my dress. One of the best decisions we made!
Jannette and Michael are truly the best photography team out there. The photos they take a classic, timeless, and stunning, and you do not have to think about posing, are they getting the shot, are we on time, etc. They handle absolutely everything, and made me and my husband feel completely relaxed, and we are blown away by our photos. We got a huge sneak peek just days after our event, and every single photo is outstanding. We cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures! Hire Jannette and Michael- you will NOT be disappointed. -

Where do I start? Michael and his team came in with a smile and brought a sense of calmness to the chaos of wedding day. He swiftly keep the day in motion, running through the timeline effortlessly without making us feel rushed. He came with a plan and knew all of the best locations for photos at our resort. He made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the process, helping us with “posed” photos while also capturing sweet candid moments. We received our sneak peek within two days (many more pictures than expected), and the photos exceeded all expectations. We are overjoyed with the photos we have seen thus far and are so excited for the final gallery. They will find the BEST light, the best angles, actually recommended something that improved the ceremony when the wind/weather became dramatic - just seriously the best overall.
I cannot be happier.
During the ceremony everyone told me how my almost 12month old walked down the aisle staring at her feet - WELL, let me tell you, Michael and Jannette were quicker with the camera than the guests were with their eyes because I cried tears of joy that they actually captured her happily walking and looking up. They are also your go-to for those sunset silhouette shots. Seriously, just book them because they are the best. 100% recommend. -

A picture is worth more than a thousand words when it comes to your wedding day…and Jannette and Michael made ours AMAZING. My wedding planner initially introduced me but after doing my own research I quickly realized she had recommended the best and I had to have them there to capture our special moments. Michael was SO WONDERFUL planning every moment up to our special day and then Jannette strolled in and made her magic happen amidst the chaos that became the moments leading up to an incredibly important and fun time. She captured the sweet and the sentimental and then Michael came in for the back half to capture the party and the final moments… and so far what I have seen of the sneak peek has blown my mind - so much so that my husband and I are now redecorating our house just so we can include gallery walls from the wedding because there are too many great pictures to not have them all put on display! Jannette was out of this world!! So very professional, helped keep things on track and lead the day/schedule. She went above and beyond and our photos are absolutely gorgeous!! She knew the property, was a true professional, and made us feel comfortable. Can’t wait to receive the rest of them! She sends a large album and the turn around time was so fast- we got our sneak (415 pictures 👏🏽) in 2 days! I spoke with Michael, also, in the planning process, who was also very helpful and professional. I like that pricing is hourly- and affordable, especially considering the work and professionalism. JDL Wedding Photography came recommended by our wedding planner and as an entrepreneur on the other side of the country, I simply took her recommendation without too much due diligence and it was the BEST possible decision. Our photos came out absolutely stunning and they went above and beyond to work make it a positive easy experience. They were thoughtful, organized, and professional at every step. From asking me what my “good side” is to capturing intimate moments without being intrusive/bossy to herding the cats that were in my crazy wedding party. During a very stressful day (and one where I as the bride may have had too much to drink) they were a source of calm and good energy. And the photos, because that’s really what you’re hiring for, we’re BEAUTIFUL. The final product and experience exceeded my expectations and to pass on hiring JDL photography would be a mistake. -

In order to truly explain the professionalism of Jannette de Llanos Photography, we need to start at the beginning.
With a global pandemic and a tropical storm looming over our August 1st wedding, my now husband and I were filled with doubts and fears about our upcoming celebration. Jannette and Michael assured us every step of the way, even when we made the last minute decision to move up our wedding to July 31st in order to beat the storm. Thankfully we were blessed with great weather all weekend, and beautiful photos that we and future generations can look back on for years to come. Incredible Photography
If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding you can stop looking right now. Jannette was my photographer for my wedding this past Sunday and I can't begin to tell you how much we love our pictures (as well as her and her team). I'm not trying to be funny, literally stop searching and call and book her right now.
I've never had professional pictures taken before so this whole experience was new to me but Jannette made me feel so comfortable and she was so friendly and easy to work with. Her partners were equally wonderful and I truly can't say enough good things about them as people let alone their incredible work.
Two days after my wedding I received a text and email from Jannette letting me know that my sneak peak pictures were ready. I hadn't expected to see pictures for weeks! My friends and family (and me of course) are OBSESSED with these pictures and their incredible quality. I have attached a few pictures for you to look at but if you've been to her website you know what I'm talking about as far as the amazing body of work.
We did not have a videographer for our wedding and I don't regret it at all. The pictures we have (and I haven't even received the whole gallery yet) really capture all of the love and fun that we had at our wedding.
So to repeat one last time, stop looking at reviews and just go book her right now =) -

5 stars doesn't do it justice. I knew I wanted a destination wedding after we got engaged last year, but with that comes a lot of anxiety of planning far away. Michael and Jannette were the first vendors I talked to (after stalking their work endlessly) & Michael was patient, helpful, personable and so professional - even when dealing with me as a nervous bride. I knew we were in good hands and that we weren't just another number to them. They truly cared about us and our vision as a couple!
Not to mention how BEAUTIFUL our photos turned out. Seriously - I think every single one of family and friends have commented that they are the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen!
Neither of us ever felt uncomfortable. They executed every step with professionalism and knowledge. And Ugh, we just love them so much!
