A true professional who goes above and beyond
Janet recently officiated our wedding in her beautiful garden this past June. We had contacted her with only a few weeks notice and she was able to accommodate us and a small group of people in her back yard. We could not have been more thrilled with every little touch, the garden was flawless, water for our guests on the warm day, her husband Paul takes photos during the ceremony and she out together a YouTube montage, even made us a small batch of gorgeous cupcakes to enjoy for afterward. They have Bluetooth speakers to play your song as you walk down the aisle. I cannot recommend Janet enough, everything went so smoothly, and many of our guests commented on what an amazing host her and her husband were!! Our day was so perfect and a huge part of this was choosing Janet to officiate our wedding in her Wedding Garden.

What a great experience
We compared different Justice's websites and Janet seemed the most personalized. We were not wrong. She was attentive to every detail. She stayed in touch with us during the entire process.
It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding, but when the weather turned, Janet had all the details worked out for an indoor ceremony.

More than ever expected
We looked into a lot of JP’s, and decided to go with Janet, and it was a great decision. Her fee is a little higher than other JP’s in the area, but her experience and knowledge is worth it. We felt so comfortable with her, she let us customize our wording, while still using parts of her beautiful speech. Her husband, Paul, took some incredible pictures of our ceremony. Wonderful Experiance
My now husband and I decided we wanted to get married on Halloween last minute (a week before) and didn't know if any one would be available within such short notice. Janet responded quickly and was available at the time we wanted to have the wedding. Which was amazing! She asked if we minded her husband coming to take photos and said that they would share the photos they took with us. The photos that were taken and sent to us were absolutely incredible and beautiful! They even made us a video that was incredible that myse3lf, my husband and family all loved. The wedding itself was incredible as well and they even gave us the vows to hold onto with the certificate. This was an all around wonderful experience and I would not have had it any other way!

Janet made everything happen during COVID19
It is extremely difficult to get things done during a pandemic, let alone a wedding. Our original wedding venue was canceled due to the CVOD19, and Janet kindly offered to officiate us in her secret garden. Janet was professional, courteous, and considerate. The flowers in the garden are pretty, and the timing for the foliage could not be better. We are usually picky and we all agree it just could not be better. Janet was amazing! She was so helpful throughout the whole process of figuring out how we wanted our ceremony to go- and then when COVID struck and decided to ruin our plans, she stuck with us and was super responsive. She helped us still get married on our day and her husband even took pictures and created a little slideshow that our family loved to watch before our pictures were given back to us from our photographer. Janet was great to us. Due to COVID-19 our wedding was cancelled. We moved the date to 2021, and booked with her again. She performed the service for a small ceremony this year with our parents and my daughters. She preformed a short but tender service as requested and was very pleasant to engage with. Charlie and I found Janet on a search engine and thought to ourselves how does this work?! Janet was quick to respond and answered and eased all of our concerns. She was flexible in arranging a meet and greet and we even invited her and her husband Paul to lunch to get to know them better which she happily accommodated. By the time the big day came we felt her to be a friend and the ceremony was delightful. We reached out to Janet for our wedding with only 3 weeks notice and we’re so happy with her as our Justice of the Peace. She responded to us so quickly and always answered my many emails right away. We were not writing our own vows, but she provided us with options so that we had wording that fit us perfectly. We were aiming for a very relaxed ceremony and she was able to really go with the flow, and even guide us where we needed it. In addition to a great ceremony, the pictures Janet’s husband took were awesome! Getting an email the same weekend with a video of the pictures was great to be able to show those who weren’t at our ceremony since it was very small. Janet officiated our October wedding at Flag Hill Winery. She was lovely to work with--very responsive and willing to work with us on the wording for the ceremony. She also met with us twice leading up to the wedding to go over the ceremony. My husband and I decided to get married very spur of the moment. Janet was not only able to preform the ceremony but has a beautiful garden where we were able to do the ceremony. A great day
We had a great and smooth experience having Janet as our JP. All emails I sent were responded to quickly which made communication a breeze. We had a very small outdoor wedding and as luck would have it there was a good chance for rain on the day of our wedding. With less than a weeks notice I asked Janet if it would be an issue to move the wedding up by one day and she said that would not be an issue. Because of that we were able to have a nice small ceremony on a beautiful day with a pretty view of Newfound Lake. Overall great experience.

The perfect day
Janet was completely amazing! She took care of everything for us and made everything so easy. She really made me feel comfortable during the ceremony as it was something I had worried about my entire engagement. We got married in her beautiful wedding garden and it was completely perfect thanks to her. Everyone was telling us how lovely it was. My flowers she had made looked so beautiful and I was taken back by them on the day. She also gave us some really nice cupcakes which was a great touch. Her husband was also very warm and friendly and took some great pictures that Janet has kindly put up in a really sweet video on YouTube all my family back home in England have enjoyed to watch. I cannot thank her enough for making mine and my now husbands special day so wonderful it was better than I ever could have hoped and I cannot recommend her enough.

Very happy
Me and my fiancé Rachael, now wife, had a very lovely and smooth experience. If we had any questions or concerns Janet got right back to us as soon as she could with an answer or solution. We had our wedding in her wedding garden and it was very beautiful and we were both very happy with how the day turned out, couldn’t recommend Janet enough to officiate any weddings that people are planning.

Janet performed the ceremony at our wedding in May and did a wonderful job. She was calm and easy to work with. She provided a template for us to help get our vows started and really was open to what we wanted to include. She even provided us some pictures that her husband took during the ceremony which were some of the best we have!

Janet is a pro. She embraced our non-standard ceremony concept and let us write the script ourselves. She showed up on time, came dressed in our wedding colors, and even sent us a slideshow afterwards to help us remember our special day. We wanted an officiant who would speak with a formal tone and not make light of the occasion, and Janet fit the bill and did a great job.

Working with Janet was great! She was very responsive to all our emails, answered our questions quickly and thoroughly. She scouted out the wedding site ahead of time, which as someone who likes to be prepared, appreciated her thoroughness and forethought. Janet was very personable and my husband and I really liked her. She included personal touches to our ceremony, which was very thoughtful, things I wouldn't have even thought about. In my opinion, she did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who asked.

Can’t say enough good things - Janet really made our ceremony personal, touching and modern. Our whole family and friends loved it; quick, meaningful and very special. If you need someone, she’s your girl! We are stationed overseas and Janet made the time to Skype call with us, as well as correspond regularly even with our 13 hour time difference. If you’re looking for a JP to make your day special and the process easy you need to hire Janet. From the moment we met her she was very personable, easy and flexible to work with. We met her at the Panera Bread in Dover, NH and we explained what we had in mind for the ceremony. She gave us a little pointer here and there to make what we had envisioned even better. She walked us through the marriage license process so we knew exactly what to do and what to expect. Janet responded very quickly to all email inquiries and questions throughout our 18-month process. We meet 2 weeks prior to the wedding to discuss the ceremony and we felt very confident that things were going to go exactly the way we planned. She met us at 4:30pm the Friday before our big day for the rehearsal and we couldn’t have been happier. She guided us and doing the run through and just really put us at ease for the upcoming day. For every meeting she was on time or early and always had a smile on her face ready to help and answer questions. Her husband joins her on the wedding day to take pictures of the ceremony for her portfolio and website. Janet had told us this is advance and also told us that she uses the pictures to make a slide show that she gives to the couples. That video is amazing! We didn’t have a videographer which we didn’t think we needed and we still don’t so, that video with pictures that he took was enough for us. We watched it two days after the wedding and I bawled my eyes out. We know you might want a friend or family member to be your Justice of the Peace but, in our opinion, you will be missing out if you don’t hire Janet. Your family member or friend doesn’t know the process of getting a marriage license and likely has never done officiated before. Trust us that having someone who knows the legals and paperwork behind getting your marriage license and has done a wedding before is calming. Janet, we love you and appreciate everything you did for us!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Janet was to work with and as an officiant for our wedding.
We felt so at ease with her, and felt like we had known her for years; she is just so warm and welcoming, exactly the person that you would want to officiate your wedding. From the beginning, she was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. We met her in person at our venue where she gave us her expert advice on how the ceremony should be organized and where any readings or specific ceremony additions should be placed if needed.
On the day of our wedding, she checked in with us in person to confirm the pronunciations of our last names and to give us well wishes.
The ceremony was wonderful and truly felt "us". Janet added so much personality and love to our day.
After the wedding, we received a small pack in the mail from her with a personalized note letting us know that she had sent out our marriage license and she also included a decorative "marriage licence" placeholder for us to have. It was such a wonderful surprise. This may have been a small detail, but you can tell that she loves what she does and puts a lot of effort into it.
We loved having Janet officiate our wedding, and we recommend her highly.

Janet was our first choice of JP from our venue, Flag Hill Winery's, preferred vendor list. After reading her short bio, we decided to contact her and meet to discuss how we wanted our ceremony to flow. Janet was consistently punctual with e-mails, and was readily available to discuss the intricacies of the ceremony. After meeting her, we knew she was the one who should marry us! In the months leading up to the wedding, Janet kept in touch and sent us helpful outlines from ceremonies she had done in the past. Janet was very accommodating when we were trying to find a location to meet for the first time. Also she already has prepared vows that you can choose from which I found extremely helpful. Janet made the process of picking an officiant for our wedding very easy as she was very nice and easy to talk to. She always answered my questions quickly and in a thoughtful manner. During our wedding ceremony I started crying, which I did not expect at all but my fiance had started to tear up and that started the waterworks for me. Janet was very nice and paused the ceremony so I could compose myself. Also her husband took photos of our wedding and posted a video online of it to music. I was not expecting that at all and was very pleased with the results. Janet was a wonderful officiant. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Anything I say seems inadequate to do her justice.

Janet was so helpful throughout the planning process. She provided us the ceremony template that she typically uses and was open to us making some changes to fit our personality. We asked her last minute to come to the rehearsal and she was more than accommodating, arriving early and putting all of us at ease as we walked through the ceremony. Janet performed a beautiful ceremony on the day of and her son, Brian, took some amazing photos. We were so surprised when Janet sent us a video of all the photos set to music. My husband, Derreck and I decided to elope last minute. I found Janet as my first choice and she responded right away and was there from the start. She made time to see us before our wedding day, we were even late by 30 minutes and she still took the time to see us. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. I was nervous about getting married but she made it simple and easy for me. For the day of she was early and had her son take pictures for us that she later put in a video. Janet is extremely easy to work with, and especially if you cannot physically meet in person before the ceremony (we live in California and therefore needed to make all arrangements over Skype). Janet helped us shape our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted, and went through several iterations of the document to get it perfect. She was upfront with costs, reasonably priced, punctual and professional; everything you want and need from a Justice of the Peace.
On the day, Janet was joined by her husband. He ended up taking a number of photographs, which Janet ultimately turned into a video slideshow for us. We understand that this is not normal practice, but we appreciated the gesture nonetheless. Janet also made an effort to introduce herself to the parents and family, which was a big plus for us.
All around a great experience. Wholeheartedly recommend!

At less than a week before the wedding, we weren't sure we would be able to find a justice of the peace on such short notice. Janet and she saved the day. She was amazing, made herself available and went out of her way to show up early and come to our house to preform the ceremony. We had a few late arrivals and she patiently awaited for our guests to get here. She provided such a beautiful words to marry us and perfectly described the love we feel for each other. I would recommend Janet to every couple ready to share their lives together. Not only is she professional, caring, considerate, and accommodating, but she is down to earth and understands the emotions and stress people go through during a wedding and offers any help she can provide. Even after the fact she remained in touch and made us a slide show of pictures she captured of the ceremony. Thank you so much Janet for everything you've done for us to make it such a special day.

Janet was a great officiant. She was very sweet and always had a smile. She was eager to please and make our ceremony our own. Her prices were more than reasonable and I would highly suggest having her.

Janet went above and beyond to help us at our wedding. Janet also was the JP at my brother and sister in laws wedding also. She is available to answer any questions and guide you through the process of anyone's special day.

Janet was incredibly helpful and supportive when my husband and I were getting married. We had a VERY short engagement due to his impending deployment, and she made our special day all the more so by accommodating us on short notice! (Not the usual, I assure you!) Janet provided a beautiful ceremony based on who we are... truly tailored to us! She took the time to listen, not just to our wants, but also listened with the ear of being a military spouse. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, caring officiant.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Janet! My husband and I wanted to elope, and we decided only about two weeks before going on vacation. Janet went above and beyond to help me pull it off, she was quick to respond and more than helpful with anything I needed. It was just fantastic to work with her and her husband. Two of the nicest people, honestly. I have great pictures and even better memories from that day thanks to them! So easy and natural. Our special day could not have happened without Janet!

I thought Janet was very professional, though friendly and easily approachable. She was willing to work with us on the ceremony, location and time so we felt very comfortable with her. I would have no hesitation referring others to her.

Janet was great! When we wanted to add more of our own wording she didn't rush us in getting it to her, was super flexible about what she said, and even reviewed it with us. The ceremony still went faster than expected so to future couples I'd say don't be afraid to add more to the traditional script, especially if it helps make the ceremony more YOU!

Wedding on a snowy day
JP Janet did an excellence service for our wedding. Her husband works with her as a team. He is a good photographer. Even though our wedding was small, she was well prepared for the ceremony.

I found Janet on facebook. She c was offering her home and garden to couples getting married. Our wedding was outside in the rain in our own backyard and she was great. She even baked our kid's christmas cookies. And she made us a YouTube video. She was great and I would recommend her to anyone.

Janet was great to work with! She made us feel very comfortable before and during our ceremony, she's very calm and down to earth. When we first met her, she explained that she was available for the day of our wedding but not available for our rehearsal. She offered to have her husband Paul, who is also a JP, step in and guide us through the rehearsal. I was a little bit nervous about this, but Paul was just as wonderful as Janet and very helpful. They make a great team. All of our guests keep saying how much they loved the ceremony!
