  James Is The Best!

  From the moment we sat down with James at a Starbucks in Boca Raton, we knew he would be our photographer for our special day. The energy he brings through his work is something we have yet to encounter. His passion is to make sure he captures every special moment of your day. From our engagement photos to the photos on our wedding day, James took the time to plan and envision each shot before he takes the picture. He takes into account the atmosphere/environment when taking photos and implements them in unique ways into his work. We highly recommend James not only for your wedding day pictures, but for any of your photography needs! James also has a great staff that makes everything easier in a light and fun atmosphere!

  There are not enough words to describe the level of service, detail and artistic vision James Minns Photography provides. From the very beginning, working with James and Caitlyn was an absolute pleasure. We enjoyed every moment of the planning process with them.
  
  James and Caitlyn are patient, understanding and most of all the best team a couple could ask for when it comes to documenting one of the most important days of their lives. The photos are not your typical photos when it comes to lighting, posing, and angles. James takes his time in understanding how you and your husband will look best in the photos.
  
  James and Caitlyn are one of the best decisions we made when it came to hiring vendors/partners for our wedding, and not only will they continue to document our momentous occasions in the future, but they have also become our friends :)

  James and his team did an AMAZING job! From start to finish they were extremely professional, eager to collaborate, and focused on making our joint artistic vision a reality. They bring great customer service, a uniquely relationship driven business style, and great artistry to the table - creating an experience that is some parts casual hangout, some parts group effort professional photoshoot, and all parts awesome. If I had it all to do over again, I would still choose James!

  James and his whole team were such a pleasure to work with! We really felt comfortable and James made the whole process (which can sometimes be tedious when you're trying to get the best shots) seem easy and enjoyable. He was always available to brainstorm ideas, whether it be for our photos or anything else wedding related. As a couple, we are not the most creative people, but James was able to come up with a vision that captured both of our personalities in all of our portraits. He was also able to capture the essence of our venue, finding the best locations to shoot with ease. Our pictures could not have come out more beautiful or professional looking. They blow us and all of our friends away. He truly is an artist and that shines through in his photos. I can't say enough about how much we love our wedding album, which he created a beautiful layout for. It is seriously the best quality! We honestly can't wait to work with James again in the future. If you are looking for beautiful photos and an easy going, fun experience, we highly recommend you go with James Minns!

  James and his team were fantastic. From the initial meetings months before the event, through the entire experience, it could not have been a more enjoyable experience. With the different parts of the wedding that are stressful, James Minns Photography was the opposite. James and his team took the time to learn everything about us that they could to create the perfect experience- with the many "cookie cutter" photography companies out there treating you like just another client, James and Caitlyn wanted insight to our lives and what would be best on both the engagement shoot we did, as well the as the wedding day. James was extremely organized and helped us keep on schedule- we never felt stressed or that we were missing something. I would highly recommend James for any occasion, especially weddings.

  James has taken professional head shots and portraits for both me and my husband. He is extremely talented, professional, meticulous and detail-oriented. He gives very specific direction to the model in order to get the best results. I highly recommend him for a wide range of photographic uses and genres. He has a strong background in fashion, weddings, portraits and photojournalism, so he has a wide versatility.

  I remember going to the many interviews for the most important decision in choosing a photographer, and always left feeling like they were going to squeeze me in for the money and not important at all!! Don't they realize this is my wedding!!! I'm supposed to feel special!!! Instead this became one of those horrible chores on the list to be checked off!So When I was feeling exhausted and deflated my planner recommended james Minns. We met over a calming glass of wine and next thing you know I was feeling like the princess I was supposed to :). No it wasn't the wine lol.
  You could just tell that he loved his job, he was enthusiastic, happy and actually listening to what I wanted. I had absolutely no hesitation, james was hired and scouting our venue for locations. Awesome! We had the most beautiful black tie wedding with 120 guests.
  Of course I was a wreck but James made me feel so relaxed and beautiful. I remember watching him when we were trying to get the bridal party and family together for pics thinking, how can he be so calm and courteous, I would have been screaming at them, but not james, he just got everyone together and did his job effectively and efficiently.
  During the reception he was discreetly everywhere, making the guests laugh and feel good. And the pictures he took of our first dance together I can honestly say they brought tears to my eyes. My goodness I didn't even know he was taking them, he captured the perfect moment, and they were gorgeous! My husband was singing to me as we danced...soooo special!!To this day I still show off from my phone the pics I loaded of our wedding. I can't believe it's me, I looked soo good! The man is a genius with the camera!! I was literally the princess he made me feel like at the first meeting, come to life!! I cannot tell you all the beautiful memories he created for us, just so many special moments in such a long day and he worked hard I know that. I wish I could post them on this review so u could see.

  In my pursuit towards getting a headshot made for my enterprise. I've found James to be an outstandingly skilled gentlemen behind the lens. As a former model, most headshot experiences are quite boring or meek. James easily brought out facets of my personality that were needed for the photo. The best part was him making me feel soo comfortable that I was laughing throughout my photoshoot. My experience was informative, dynamic and fun! I will be hiring him again next year for an updated headshot.

  AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!
  We could not have possibly had a better time, feeling, adventure and very important - laughs. This photography couple is like no other we have ever experienced. They were calm, fun, energetic, and most importantly listened to what we were looking for in our pictures, which is HUGELY important. We felt as though we didn't have to finish describing what we hoped to achieve, as they were steps ahead of us. We highly recommend this photography company to anyone looking for the upmost quality while obtaining an overall amazing experience. The pictures we captured thanks to JMP was exactly what we hoped for and more. Not only do we have these pictures that are beyond stunning, we have memories of one of the best times in our lives.
  
  Huge thank you to James and Caitlyn Minns for going above and beyond for our wedding after-shoot. We truly could not be happier with everything that you two have done, start to finish. These two are amazing at their photography work, but their character and personalities are nothing short of absolutely amazing as well. Caitlyn was a God send for myself while tackling those ocean waves. Every wave that crashed was beyond worth it, and the experience was something we will never forget. Travelling from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, it was important to us to capture these ocean shots.   We used James for our family photos. He had to manage three cholden under the age of three, two adults over the age of 80 and their walkers, and the other 6 whiny adults that were with us. But he managed to get all of us organized and took amazing pictures that will last us a lifetime. Highly highly recommended! Thanks, James!
