  James is simply the best. His photos are gorgeous and he always captures the best moments! He is so great and easy to work with and he goes above and beyond. From our engagement shoot (and guestbook made with those pictures) to our rehearsal dinner to the wedding day, James has been responsive, professional, early, and super friendly. He literally went the extra mile to make our experience perfect and I can't wait to see the rest of the wedding pictures. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him.

  James was absolutely amazing! My favorite person to work with throughout the entire planning process, by far. His responses to ALL of my emails were nearly instant sometimes and never kept me waiting for more than 24 hours, wow. He even showed up 2 hours early to scope out the city, he had never visited before, to maximize our photo session and get my husband and I to the Reception on time... he actually got us there 10 minutes early! Every photo he took is timeless, we could not be more impressed.

  We loved working with James! He is super professional and takes beautiful pictures. He captured our personalities in such a beautiful way! He is willing to go the extra mile for his clients and you will totally feel at ease working with him. I highly recommend him! You will not be disappointed!

  The best decision we made during the wedding planning process was hiring James as our photographer. The pictures he took are absolutely gorgeous, and he's been great to work with since day one. He does a great job of getting in the middle of the action while also making everyone feel comfortable, so he got a lot of great photojournalistic candids. He also took time to scout out visually interesting locations for the posed pictures.
  
  A couple of months before our wedding, we attended a wedding that had a photo booth. It was a lot of fun, so I emailed James to see if he could do one for us. He immediately responded that it wouldn't be a problem. You never would have guessed that it wasn't something he'd been doing for every wedding--he even brought along props. This is just one example of his flexibility and his willingness to go above and beyond.
  
  Right now we've been working with James to finalize our wedding album. Even though the wedding was a few months ago, James continues to be extremely responsive and helpful, and I can tell the finished product is going to be amazing.
  
  Basically, I can't recommend James highly enough. You should hire him!

Our family and friends have been praising the work, style, and attitude constantly since the start of the wedding day. He even came early to scope out our venue to find locations for memorable pictures. We can't thank James enough for his help in documenting our wedding- we owe our memories entirely to him. We have not seen proofs yet but the "sneak peak" so far looked great!

  James was perfect! The creativity, the flexability, great personality made it so much fun to take pictures! He has great prices and great packages, I highly recommend!

  Amaaazing!!! We had been searching for a photographer for our wedding for weeks until James was recommended to us. It was so hard to find someone who wouldn't charge and arm and a leg and who would only come for 5 hours instead of the typical whole day event (getting ready, etc - we didn't want this).
  
  James was so great about answering any of our questions via email or phone when we were getting started. Everything was so clear and as we got closer to the event day, he was able to meet with us when we were in town, for introductions, and then just going through photography styles we liked and didn't like, so that he could get a sense of what we wanted. My only teeny tiny complaint (seriously so minor) was that although, I had initiated the list of family portraits about 1-2 months before the event, he did not get back to me with a form that needed to be filled out until the week of the wedding. It was crunch time, and I was already swamped with everything else. However, it only took 5-10 minutes of my time, so not a big deal.
  
  On the event day, James showed up super early to scout out locations for our photographs. He was so into it for the entire evening and was able to get some really great shots. We just received the photos back (3 weeks later which is soooooo fast!!!!) and they are beyond what we were expecting. He really listened to everything we were saying about the style of photography and even catered to a random (and probably testy) request for a photo with multiple exposures. It turned out perfectly! The photos are perfect and we could not be any happier!
  
  In terms of price, James is so reasonable compared to other photographers in the DC/MD/VA area. What was great, was that there was flexibility in his pricing structure depending on what you wanted or didn't want. Definitely would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. He was AWESOME!
