Jim did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. He knew the vibe we wanted for the posed photos and used the venue and surrounding area to great effect. He also got great photos of the ceremony that were well framed while also staying discrete and was never distracting. -

This photographer went above and beyond to make sure he took every photo we wanted. He provided extended hours for us to get ready in the morning till the end of the evening to have a firework shoot! We love all of them. James and his wife went above and beyond to capture things we never would have thought of. So many photos looked wedding magazine quality. Highly recommend!! -

Amazing experience
James was phenomenal to work with! Our engagement session was great! At that session we had no idea what poses to do or what we wanted. He perfectly found the best spots and poses. For our wedding, he and his partner got every important shot. The whole way from the makeup and hair to the reception fun. He accommodated for some extra special photos we really wanted. -

We were so happy that we chose James J. Grassi as our wedding photographer! He is an artist, but he makes it easy too! Very easy to work with, but also a professional. We had an outdoor Fall wedding and the colors in our photos were dramatic and stunning. The turn around time getting our photos back was fast. Our wedding album is a lovely keepsake! Highly recommend James J. Grassi! -

Amazing!!!
James was absolutely amazing to work with! He answered all my questions so quickly even before we decided to book with him. The day of our wedding he knew exactly what pictures to capture and when without me even asking and made the entire day flow so smoothly without a worry. All our photos turned out beautifully and we still are getting so many compliments on them! -

Great experience, beautiful pictures
We are so happy with our wedding pictures. We were worried about it being dark out and not too many options inside for back drops, but James and his colleague made it work and pictures turned out amazing. The editing done to our pictures gave them the exact look I wanted. Also very grateful for them traveling 3 hours to make our wedding. Highly recommend! -

Worth Every Penny!
Deciding on a wedding photographer is intimidating and stressful to say the least. It’s one of the most important investments a bride can make for her wedding, as those are the memories that will last forever. James was recommended to us by my brother in law, as we had already seen his work. We knew he was phenomenal and was easily one of the first vendors we booked before everything else.
This year, 2020, has been challenging for couples who are wedding planning but James was extremely easy to work with and accommodating, going along with all the change of plans.
We were lucky enough to have James photograph our engagement pictures as well as wedding pictures, all included in one package (something I would HIGHLY recommend). Friends and family were blown away with how beautifully they turned out.
Because of the pandemic, and wanting to keep our elderly loved ones safe, our grandparents and many other family members were unable to come to our wedding. Even though they weren’t there, they felt as though they were because the pictures James and his assistant were able to capture were life like, and truly symbolic for our special day.
James and his assistant were extremely professional and helped to put this brides mind at ease, knowing that they would capture all of the intricate details I so wanted for my “Pinterest inspired” wedding. He’s an artist and exceptional at what he does. BOOK HIM, You’ll be glad you did! -

James was so easy and flexible to work with! Not only did he take our wedding photos but our engagement photos as well. James was extremely easy to get in contact with and very quick to respond with any questions we had. James and his wife spend the entire wedding day capturing memories for us starting from 8 in the morning until 9 at night. All of our photos turned out amazing! We could not have asked for a better experience. -

Professional and patient
Great experience! He even tolerated my lack of sleep moodiness very well haha. Not to mention he was supposed to be done at 10 but of course I underestimated how long things took and he stayed longer to go to another destination to take a few extra photos at the end of the night. -

James was so easy to work with!
We knew we did not want the cookie cutter wedding photos that everyone has. My husband and I knew we wanted pictures that captured our friendships and the atmosphere of our friend group.
James was always up for our picture ideas while guiding us how to best do it.
He worked with us from getting ready until the end of the reception.
