    I have been going to James Griffith Salon for over 10 years now and when it was time to book make-up and hair for wedding, I knew my only choice would be James Griffith Salon! They treat you amazing and James always has his staff trained on the latest fashions and trends. I am so happy that they are able to come to my wedding venue to take care of myself and bridal party for our beauty needs. I know everything will be amazing with the staff of James Griffith Salon taking care of the hair and make-up on a very special day in my life :)

    My mother found this salon for us, as I live in Dayton OH and had a destination beach wedding in FL. I was unable to have a trial for hair and makeup. This salon did an amazing job on both. My hair was everything I could imagine and the sun kissed look with the airbrush makeup was perfect! The craziest thing of all was that the bride just before me was from Lima OH and holding her destination wedding on the same day and used the same stylist!

    I'm not sure of the girl who did my hair, don't remember her name, Amy maybe? Very slender, 20-something, blonde. Very nice. Anyway, she did a WONDERFUL job on my hair. it looked amazing! This salon is "the place to be" in the Venice area. (note: what I spent does not incl. tip)

    Stylists at James Griffith Salon at the Gasparilla Inn & Club did my hair and make up for my May 2017 wedding at the resort. My hair and make up turned out really well, which is all that matters looking back. However, I had trouble contacting my hair stylist to discuss hair styles in the weeks leading up to my wedding to the point where I went in completely blind and that caused me a lot of stress.

    The biggest problem that day was that the hair stylists seemed too busy with another wedding party in the salon, and my hair appointment ran over and hour long. This really ruined my photo schedule and added a lot of stress to my wedding day.

    I really think that my hair appointment would not have gone long if my stylist had been available to discuss what I wanted for my hair before the appointment and if she hadn't been so busy with back to back appointments. I share this in a spirit of constructive criticism, so please take these comments into account when you provide wedding day services in the future. I want others to have a less stressful experience than I did.

    The lady who did my airbrush make up did a great job. I was hesitant to get airbrush make up for my wedding day because I had gotten it as a bridesmaid at a different wedding and it looked terrible on me. However, it turned out really well and lasted a long time. My stylist (who only works at the salon for weddings) was very sweet and really wanted to give me what I wanted!

    Very bad experience

    THE MOST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE EVER! LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION PER SALON CLAIMING NOT ENOUGH TIME ALLOWED BY THE MANAGER TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT FOR THE SERVICE . NATALIE THE APPOINTMENT COORDINATOR IS VERY RUDE!!! UNPLEASANT, UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!
