From the groom: Jamie kept everyone on track and moving during all phases of the wedding and was entirely worth everything we spent on her during the process.
From the bride: We hired Jamie for day of coordination. But she helped all the way along. She put together a comprehensive wedding day timeline that ensured everything went smoothly. She ran our rehearsal the day before the wedding. We had a large bridal party and she was able to keep them moving. On the day of the wedding, she made it very clear any questions should be directed towards her so that I wouldn’t have to worry. Only later did I find out how much work she had done to arrange decor, keep people where they needed to be, and that she even sewed my mother’s button back onto her dress when it came off. Thank you Jamie! -

I have worked with Jamie before and enjoyed working with her again at the landmark center.
The entire wedding ran like a well-oiled machine and stayed on time the whole night. We had no issues with timing or any other logistics. She was on point working with all the various vendors, the venue and kept us all well informed about upcoming items in the evening.
I look forward to the next time that I have the pleasure of working with her again.
I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled event coordinator that is easy to work with.

Goes Above and Beyond
Jaime was great to work with made the wedding day worry free. She made sure everything happened at the right time and met with me many times prior to ensure she knew what I had planned for the day. I'm so glad she was there to take initiative and make sure everyone was doing what they needed to do. I'm glad I had her rather than just relying on the coordinator at the venue cause she could take care of many things that they would not/could not. She also helped me with finding vendors and working through ideas. I couldn't have done it well without her. I highly recommend her services! -

Jaime was a huge help with our wedding. We thought we could do everything ourselves and quickly became overwhelmed with all the details! I found Jaime online, and after our initial meeting we were ready to hire her! She kept me focused with updates, made sure I was making thoughtful choices, and kept me on track with planning! Any questions we had, she had answers and multiple options. She was professional, flexible, and responded quickly, which was super important to us. We loved having her help bring our day together, and would hire her again if we have another event! -

Couldn't Have Been Better
We had our wedding ceremony and reception in April and we could not have done it without J’aime Events. Jaime was kind and equally professional. She helped us during the planning process from the beginning all the way until the very end (even helping with the clean up). We had plenty of ideas of what we wanted our wedding to be and Jaime made it all happen. Upon finding our venue, Jaime helped organize the bigger things while not forgetting the smaller details that we would have never thought of. The wedding itself was absolutely perfect. Jaime was there the whole time working her magic from the sidelines. All of our guests seemed genuinely impressed, too. Our special day was extra special thanks to Jaime and J’aime Events. -

Sheila Sent on 08/13/2018Jaime was absolutely amazing!!! We got married at the Earle Brown Center in Minneapolis with a guest count around 280. I'm very happy we hired Jaime to be our day coordinator. She met up with me quite a few times prior to our wedding date to go over every detail for our big day. She even met us at our venue to help with details and ideas. She has a lot of insight on decorations and was very helpful in sending me ideas when I needed it! I don't know what I would've done without Jaime on rehearsal day... she guided us every step of the way! How/where to stand, when to walk..etc.. On our wedding day I didn't have to worry about a thing, she made sure things were put in check! Made sure the guys were in line ! I don't think this review does the justice to describe how grateful and thankful we were to have her with us that day! Highly recommend her to any future newly weds! Thank you Jaime! =) -

Michael Sent on 10/11/2017We hired Jaime Events last minute, only a month before our wedding. Our friend who was going to help as a coordinator fell through and my now husband and I panicked. We met with Jaime, and right away she put us at ease! She walked around our venue with us and listened to all of our ideas--then on the day she made sure that everything we planned happened, and if there were any issues, we weren't aware! We had a church wedding with a reception in the backyard under a tent and Jaime made sure that the lighting and decorations were perfect. She's the best! -

Jaime really helped us get our wedding in order. We planned our wedding from out of state and it wasn’t stressful at all! The day of our wedding, she her twins were born so she wasn’t able to attend our wedding however, she made sure everything was squared away and hired 2 people to take her place for the day of (and rehearsal day) and they did an excellent job! The whole day I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, it was amazing! -

Background :
We got referred to Jaime through a family member as she was hired for an upcoming wedding at that time. We did not have enough time to go the route of full planning which requires 12 months and hence went with the partial planning package that was offered where it helps the couple who has done some planning but just wants to make sure it comes
together, which sounded perfect for us and ended up hiring Jaime.
Experience :
We are really happy for those who had a great experience working with Jaime but we certainly did not. Our journey started off good through initial meetings and touch point ones later but as we were nearing to our big day, we noticed too many gaps and vendor coordination was poorly handled and there was no transparency in communication, ownership of tasks, roles assigned to people, etc etc. In addition to that, timeline was a nightmare as we had no clue of what my partners comments were as I could not see them and vice-versa but Jaime alone could see and they were never incorporated until we reminded multiple times. In the end, timeline was ready and we were glad we had one.
We selected our DJ and caterer on our own and they are not in the vendor list provided by Jaime. But as an experienced planner, expectation is you navigate them through the process and ensure things are in place so there are no surprises when it comes to the actual day. We never had any problem with our DJ Jeff and in fact he was generous enough to run the show on the day because Jaime refuses to do so. Coordination with our caterer ended up being a challenge, however caterer and event planner had a meeting to particularly talk about some of the gaps we identified and requested them to plan for those. And guess what, not sure what they discussed but one of the items we particularly requested for was to place water goblets on each table and fill them up with water and have someone fill them up as they get empty, but there were no goblets to begin with on any of the tables and when confronted Jaime she gathered few helpers and set them up on the tables. But there was no plan as to who and how those goblets can be filled up as they get empty. When approached Jaime, she refuses to help and sits at the table assigned for vendors doing nothing where on the other hand, we the bride and groom asked around our friends for volunteers and all of us started filling the water goblets. Even at that time, Jaime did nothing but sit at the table which was very frustrating to watch. We obviously did not expect her to start filling water in the goblets but were expecting her to provide some direction and lead to handle that situation. Also, order in which tables needed to be released was screwed up big time and it ended up having the table that sits last to eat be the first one to be removed as we needed few tables to be removed to set the stage of dance. Luckily it was our friends and not elders so there were understanding of our situation.
Our wedding cake was never even served to the guests which was a huge surprise, as we talked about it and planned before in our meetings. Task was for Jaime to let the caterers know when we are done cutting the cake to serve our guests but obviously nothing happened on the actual day as we came home with the entire cake. Only good thing is, we got to cut it and got some great photos.
There are many more annoyances like this and we can keep going on and on, but you get the picture. It was not just us who was feeling this frustration on the day of event, but in fact our family members and friends who were trying to help handle the chaos also said the same thing about Jaime.
However a huge shout out to all our vendors who worked so hard and all our friends and family who made our big day even more special. Despite the frustration caused through Jaime, we had a fantastic fun wedding.

- Pre-planning meetings although not great but there were some great insights that helped in overall planning
Cons :
- Lacks in professionalism
- Poor Communication
- Poor Coordination
- Lack of ownership
- Very poor in handling any wedding day emergencies
- Cannot handle any vendors outside the preferred vendor list
- By no means is the point person for day of logistics, as every vendor kept looking for her including the venue manager and she was never to be seen and not available to address any issue
- Additional work
- Timeline management (although not great but something was there)
- Bad experience overall
