Jacob and his team did a wonderful job for our wedding! It was a pretty tight timeline and we didn't have a lot of ideas (or know-how really :)) and they completely captured our style and taste. The decoration was simple but beautiful, with perfect color combination.
We loved working with Jacob and 100% recommend it! -

My experience with Jacob Maarse, specifically with their lead stylist, David Navarro, was nothing short of AMAZING. They are super flexible, easy to work with, and can bring your wedding vision to life. All of my guests were so impressed by each detail. I'd definitely recommend them to any couple. :) -

Amazing Florist!
David at Jacob Maarse Florists designed the flowers for our micro-wedding and we couldn't have been happier. They created exactly the look my wife and I wanted, including a stunning chuppah. They were so easy to work and we'd use them again in a heartbeat. Can't recommend them enough if you're looking for beautiful flowers and more. -

Wonderful service, beautiful flowers and attention to detail
The flowers for my small wedding turned out perfectly!! I made a last minute change the week before and David was able to adjust the bouquet and larger arrangement to be exactly what I wanted. I'm looking forward to working with them again next year for my vow renewal and reception! -

In a word: Amazing!
Jacob Maarse Floral Design is amazing. My wife and I had a small ceremony this August; with the help of David, we were able to make it happen. My wife was worried about getting a bouquet during Covid and Jacob Maarse Floral Design provided the amazing floral decor, including the most incredible bouquet and boutonnière that either of us have ever seen.
The bouquet and boutonnière were elegantly matched to our attire, and the arrangements were incredible - the colors, the variety and the creativeness in which they incorporated our favorite flours was absolutely gorgeous - we simply cannot say enough about the quality of the arrangements.
On short notice, they provided my wife with the bouquet of her dreams!
Jacob Maarse Floral Design will certainly be the place we look to, for all of our future floral design needs; in a word, they are simply amazing, and I highly recommend them!

Attention Covid-19 Brides!!!!
Attention all Brides thinking about creating a magical #covidwedding: Book Jacob Maarse!!! My daughter married in our backyard and rented farmhouse tables and chairs, with social distancing. After speaking to David, the Lead Designer, I knew we had the perfect man and vendor for her vision. Additionally, he created a beautiful area for the ceremony and, later, a photo op area.
David listened to the Bride's vision, and created it. The florals created the perfect ambiance for this magical, intimate wedding. -

We did a smaller (family only) wedding, and I still wanted flowers to be a part of our special day. Our order was small, but they still made me feel like my event was important. I even called the day of our event and asked for extra greenery for the space, and they were so accommodating!
Everything arrived in beautiful condition too. There is no doubt Jacob Maarse is the best, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. -

Absolutely beautiful!
So happy that we hired Jacob Maarse Florist for our daughter's wedding personals (bouquets, corsages, ...) and reception florals. We worked with David Navarro, lead designer, who understood our vision and exceeded our expectations. Very professional and accommodating! We had 2 mock trials before the wedding to get the floral colors & design just right, and they even pulled the fire permit required by our venue. Our guests loved the mix of elegant designs from tall centerpieces, low centerpieces, king table garlands, asymmetrical sweetheart table, and cascading cake florals. We also used them for other decor rentals (mercury glass votives, pedestal glass candles, gold candlesticks and geometric hurricane lamps). Highly recommended! -

Floral Elegance
My wedding was absolutely magical thanks to the beautiful floral design created by David at Jacob Maarse. My husband and I were so impressed by how he transformed the reception space into a floral wonderland. Between the use of florals and an amazing display of candles throughout the venue it sparkled with sheer elegance. David was very patient throughout the design process and was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for bringing our vision to life! -

Stunning, amazing
My flowers were absolutely stunning. David was a great guy to work with and made everything so easy for my big day. He literally took care of everything! Delivery and set up! The flowers were so fresh and beautiful and were exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Prices are fairly reasonable as well! All my guest took home a centerpiece and the flowers last for about a week and half/two weeks! Highly recommend Jacob Maarse Florist and be sure to speak with David Navarro! -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about David and his team at Jacob Maarse! We had a difficult time choosing a florist for our wedding, as it was hard to know from looking at pictures who would be able to bring our vision to life. We ended up choosing to work with David because of the support he and his team would be able to provide our other creative vendors and the glowing recommendation from our wedding planner. Boy, did they deliver! David and his team worked seamlessly with our wedding planner/designer and balloon vendor. Everything looked gorgeous, and we received tons of compliments. One of the things we especially loved about working with David is how well he listened to feedback during our mock up. Even though we weren’t able to articulate very well what we wanted to change, he went and pulled flowers from the back and worked on the arrangement while we were there. The next version we saw was for our engagement photo shoot, and we were blown away. We can’t recommend David and his team at Jacob Maarse enough! -

Being familiar with Jacob Maarse I had very high expectations after I hired them for my wedding - those expectations weren’t only met but honestly so far surpassed! David was my main point of contact throughout the entire process. He is a true professional and incredibly pleasant and fun to work with - he was so mindful of what I wanted and also very helpful when I wasn’t sure exactly what it was that I wanted - his overall expertise and demeanor made me feel so comfortable just letting him take the reigns and I’m so glad he did because he totally delivered! I truly could not be more pleased. -

Unbelievable!
David Navarro is a magician!!! He knew exactly what I wanted. In just a few words he knew. I wanted to create a bridal shower table fit for a princess. I merely told him the colors and the vessel size. He nailed it.
I wish I lived closer. I would be in the shop weekly to choose something for my home.
Honestly, I can't say enough about this amazingly talented, exceedingly kind and gentle man. -

David Navarro is truly the crème de la crème... the very best. To say that I am elated that he did the florals for my wedding would be a gross understatement. To know David to is to love him, and I could not be more grateful that he played such an incredibly integral part of making my wedding vision come to life.
My mom and I came to David with very high expectations and a very particular taste in mind; we shared with him my exact aesthetic vision for my wedding and told him that I did not want my wedding to look "cookie cutter," but rather feel like the chicest dinner party imaginable.
David is extremely reliable, professional, and as creative as it gets. His creativity is simply unmatched, as is his flexibility. I was not only very particular, but I also did not wish to have an obscene floral budget, and he truly made everything work perfectly based upon my needs and asks. From day one, he was on the same wavelength as me, and always picked up on my references, likes, & dislikes -- he even knew of the exact photo I was talking about from a 2012 Vogue wedding feature! It doesn't get more detailed than David Navarro.
He came up with a myriad of ideas for my wedding that I had not seen before, and everything was even more beautiful and unique than I could have ever dreamt up in my mind! The kings table arrangements he created for my long dinner tables were spectacular - they made for tablescapes truly like no other... they were the most beautiful that I have seen. He also sourced for me a stunning array of candelabrum and candlesticks that gave the night the glow that I was after. My bouquet was an absolute dream, as were my sisters', mom's, and mother-in-law's. Even my husband, my dad, and father-in-law commented on how they loved their boutonnières. The pièce de résistance of the night were the incredible trees David's team handcrafted for me - these had the look and feel of gorgeous cherry blossoms, but took on a more ivory hue to match my event. I had told David I didn't want the typical flower arch or arbour for my outdoor ceremony, and of course he thought of the perfect pivot of this for my day. These trees were focal points in both my ceremony and my dinner, and were a star of the night. My guests took as many pictures of David's marvelous trees as they did with my husband and I!
David is a true master of his craft - the most talented florist I have ever met! I recommend him to everyone, whether they are getting married, hosting any type of event large or more intimate, or just need an extraordinary arrangement. The thought and care that David put into making my wedding so fabulous will not be forgotten! -

Some of my requests were unusual (such as designing flowers in used car parts and recreating my daughter's aerial arts) and Marina helped me realize my vision each time. We had our wedding just pre-pandemic on March 14th, 2020-- it was extremely stressful! But David Navarro was our florist for our wedding and he made everything wow-factor beautiful! Our flowers in every category were gorgeous and romantic. He was one of our shining stars that brilliantly came through for us and we're so thankful! If you want someone amazingly talented and who knows exactly what he's doing, he's your guy. -

Jacob Maarse lead designer David Navarro was invaluable to my wedding planning experience! David was always very responsive to my many emails and questions and worked collaboratively with me over the course of 4-5 months to design what turned out to be a gorgeous, magical wedding full of exquisite florals - from a 10 ft tall arch and petal design in the ceremony space to lush floral panels that made the perfect backdrop to selfies and group photos. David was the perfect consultant who provide guidance on everything from what color tie the groom should wear to helping me find the perfect white dance floor that best complemented the reception space. Many guests said the florals were one of their favorite things about my wedding! Thank you Jacob Maarse and David Navarro for helping bring my vision to life! -

Courtney Sent on 07/24/2018David Navarro designed all of the floral arrangements for my wedding, which included an arch, various bouquets and boutonnieres, cocktail table centerpieces, and centerpieces for the reception. At our initial meeting, I gave him a rough idea of what I was looking for and he executed on my vision even better than I could have imagined! The flowers were beautiful and everyone at the wedding couldn’t stop commenting on how unique the flowers were. Not only did David transform my wedding venue, but he was also extremely easy to work with. He was quick to respond to emails, set up the wedding venue on time as promised (including delivering my bouquet to my parent’s house for photos before the wedding), and even transferred the arch from the ceremony to the reception during the cocktail hour without the guests noticing. He and his team worked quickly and discreetly the day of, which amazed my Mom and many of the other wedding guests. I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a skilled florist to design unique and gorgeous floral arrangements for any special occasion!
