  Awesome time, beautiful venue, memorable wedding

  We planned a January wedding in Costa Rica for 42 of our closest friends and family. Looking for a destination wedding spot, we stumbled upon Casa 9. This little gem was the perfect place for our destination wedding. We turned this into a long weekend, and 32 of us stayed on the property. Our other guests found places in town. The accommodations at Casa 9 were lovely, and the staff was attentive and made sure that we had our every need taken care of.

  We planned a January wedding in Costa Rica for 42 of our closest friends and family. Looking for a destination wedding spot, we stumbled upon Casa 9. This little gem was the perfect place for our destination wedding. We turned this into a long weekend, and 32 of us stayed on the property. Our other guests found places in town. The accommodations at Casa 9 were lovely, and the staff was attentive and made sure that we had our every need taken care of.
  
  Planning the wedding was fairly easy, though the choices were not limitless. Because of the distance from a large city, they have to rely on an outside vendor to provide the set up and even the catering. We weren’t extremely picky, and they were able to create an outdoor wedding that was lovely.
  
  A wedding wouldn’t be a wedding without a few hiccups, and we had several. Nothing that was a dealbreaker, though. Our guests had a fabulous time and had no idea when things didn’t go exactly as planned. The wedding itself was affordable— I think we spent a little over $12,000, which wouldn’t get you much at all in the States. That doesn’t include what we paid to stay at Casa 9, which turned out to be a reasonable price given the number of guests and experience we had. We couldn’t have stayed as affordably at hotels and had the opportunity for the interaction and adventure that we had as a group.
  
  They set up a really nice wedding chapel on the property with a little arch, chairs, and flowers. We tried not to be Groomzillas, but we did insist on fresh flowers rather than artificial. Totally worth the upcharge. Dinner was under a canopy beside the beach. It was a buffet and was tasty as buffets go. We had been spoiled by the food prepared all week from the private chef at Casa 9, so the wedding dinner from the outside vendor didn’t have much of a wow factor.
  
  The deejay did a great job of keeping the music pumping and getting everyone out on the dance floor. We had a little mixup with the playlist we sent ahead of time, but we were the only ones who noticed. We ended the evening with fireworks—a nice touch orchestrated by Marcel, the awesome concierge at Casa 9.
  
  Throughout the entire experience, everyone worked very hard to make sure we were happy and worry free. If we had it to do over again, we wouldn’t hesitate to have our wedding at Casa 9.

  Perfect spot for a Wedding or a Reception Venue

  I attended a wedding at Casa 9 for a friend. Wedding at Ocean Bliss Venue was more than just a celebration; it was a magical experience that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The kids and other guests enjoyed every minute of their stay. The combination of breathtaking ocean views, impeccable service, and extraordinary attention to detail created an unforgettable experience.

  Best Bhakti Yoga retreat Ever

  We were on a 3 day trip to Jaco beach Costa Rica. There was a Guru from India staying at Casa 9. Meditation requires peace of mind environment. You can not ask for a better Venue then Casa 9. It is right across from the Ocean where you hear the crashing waves and the gentle caress of salty sea breezes. You can take a walk to the vast forest close by. Just a perfect setting to Relax, de-stress and give yourself the gift of this yoga retreat where we'll dive into the healing practices of Hatha and Bhakti yoga, meditation and so much more.

  Blown away, 100 stars!!!

  We stayed at the Casa 9 property on Jaco Beach. Geoff did an amazing job helping with planning for my wedding, Marcel’s concierge service was amazing the in house chef made amazing food for every meal, and the price was very reasonable. The maid service was impressive, and the property was more amazing than I could have ever expected. It was a private hotel for all my friends and family, and we were so happy we decided to stay there. The security and safety was always comfortable, and booking activities was very easy thanks to Marcel. I would give this place an infinite amount of stars if that was an option!!!!

  Jaco Heaven!

  We had our wedding here and they were so amazing with all the questions and planning. Marcel was a dream come true during the weekend and handled all our guests needs. Our group was huge and we couldn’t have had more fun.
