Love love love Jaclyn! After our first phone call my fiancé joked that I wanted to be friends with her as much as I wanted to hire her. She made a photo-phobic couple like us feel completely at ease and was such a dream to work with. She has such unique ideas on locations and lighting so if you're looking for something different definitely reach out to her. -

Jaclyn was amazing from the start! She’s very responsive and helped us pick the perfect place and time for our pictures. She was also SO flexible. We’re from out of town and were only going to be in VA beach for a few days. Our original date to get pictures done was supposed to rain all day. Jaclyn worked with us to meet on a different day while we were there and everything worked out perfectly.
She is also so great at making you feel comfortable. My fiancé and I were sure we would be super awkward getting pictures done, but it was quite the opposite and working with Jaclyn was so much fun! The turnaround time in getting the pictures back to us was the icing on the cake! I couldn’t wait to see them and I didn’t have to wait very long at all. I highly recommend hiring Jaclyn for your photography needs! -

Jaclyn was absolutely amazing and so much fun to work with! It was our first time ever taking professional photos so we were a little timid but Jaclyn made everything so much fun and easy and was extremely professional during our shoot! She helped guide us on poses, lighting, location and took the best shots of us! We have so many photos to choose from to share with our friends and family! We cant wait to work again with Jaclyn in the future and would recommend her to anyone! She is a hidden gem! -

Jaclyn was an absolute pleasure to have for our mini-elopement. I booked her last minute and she was able to fit me into her schedule and delivered the most amazing memories ever. She was kind, professional, and an overall pleasure and made everyone comfortable. The gallery she delivered is stunning and I am so overjoyed to be able to see my wedding day through the pictures. We loved having Jacyln photograph our elopement. Beyond her photographing abilities, Jacyln and Brian were a great addition and presence to our small wedding party. The photos turned out beautiful. I usually do not like photographs of myself, but there are so many amazing photos from our elopement, I dont know which ones to print! -

We used Jaclyn for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. I cannot speak more highly of her professionalism and ability to make myself and husband feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was able to keep us laughing and light hearted throughout the entire day(s) and really understood what we were looking for, and what we were not looking for (as far as 'vibe' of our photos) It's impossible to pick a favorite from both days, because her work is so great! I will 100% continue hiring Jaclyn for future photo needs! -

Working with Jaclyn was the best decision I made. She is organized and has the ability to bring out the best in you and your wedding party! We had an outdoor venue and rain to maneuver around, yet we got the most amazing photos thanks to her quick thinking and talent. She captures all of the unseen details of your day, so when you look back as a couple you can see your entire vision brought to life. (As a bride, I got to see so much of what made me choose our location and the fun moments of all my guests! I also got to see my Husband and Son getting ready, which I would have missed otherwise.) I feel like our photos are a beautifully illustrated story! I could not have dreamed of anything more! Jaclyn truly captures precious memories!!! -

A dream come true!
When I envisioned our elopement, I showed Jaclyn the dress I planned to wear, shared a few words & pics of my inspiration for what I was going for and she LITERALLY did the rest. I can't stress enough how completely PERFECT it turned out. It honestly turned out far better than I think I imagined in my head! It was absolutely the BEST!! and that's hugely thanks to Jaclyn! We had to postpone our wedding for a 3rd time bc of COVID and literally had a week to plan our elopement. She scouted the location, she came over to our place beforehand to get us comfortable with the camera, the little details of everything the whole afternoon that we would have never thought of, she even drove us to dinner after!! The pictures look like something out of a boho dream, I hardly believed it was me & my fiance in them!! I truly put full trust in her and I knew she wouldn't let me down, and she far surpassed what I expected! She nailed it. I can't wait for her to shoot our full wedding next year!!! -

Perfection!
We planned to elope in Key West but we’re unable to travel so we decided to do it at the Cape Henry memorial cross because it is a special place for my husband. I wanted very relaxed unposed type shots and reached out to Jaclyn. I am so glad I did. If you want a photographer who will capture your special day in a magical way, Jaclyn is your girl.
She was easy to communicate with, fun to work with and made such an effort to get unique shots that showed our personalities and love for each other. I have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos.
There are a bunch of photographers to choose from in this area, but if you want one who will listen to your desires and work super hard to capture your day in shots that you will love to look at for years to come, I recommend you hire Jaclyn. You will not be disappointed! -

Elopement in the Mountains
When I was researching a photographer for our elopement, Jaclyn was the first photographer I thought of. Her creativity, adventurousness, and her fun positive personality, I knew it would be a perfect fit choosing her. Having already been friends with Jaclyn for a few years I had been following her Instagram page and could see the TALENT she had for outdoor landscapes and views. The earthly colors of her photography are my absolute favorite. I was asking a lot with this elopement, but I knew she would be down for it all, and with fingers crossed she would be available on such short notice to capture this unforgettable moment in our lives. Traveling three hours away to hike to the top of a mountain, unexpected weather conditions, rain, wind, and abnormal cold temperatures this time of year, would pose a problem for just about anybody, but Jaclyn made the most out of this and captured our moment to perfection. I was nervous with the rain and clouds and how it could affect the views, but she did what she does best and got us to the perfect angles to see the landscapes. I also didn't have to wait very long for the photos to be available, we all know how impatient brides can be, but the turnaround was fast and the prints were gorgeous. Every picture is frame worthy and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Jaclyn. Thank you for capturing our best moments as we will cherish them forever. -

Less Stress and More Fun
Jaclyn is not only and extremely talented photographer, with an eye for details and new perspectives, but she’s also super fun to work with! She made our photos very special, and incited true emotion and laughter from us. Her package included an engagement shoot, which was also super helpful to get some pre-wedding photos done as well. We will be able to cherish so many memories forever because of Jaclyn! You will not be disappointed. -
