Noreen, Tom, Chris and everyone else at J. Thomas Jewelers had a part in the purchase of our wedding rings. They were all extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They made us feel like one of their family! After spending many hours/days of searching, we found the perfect rings here. J. Thomas Jewelers was the third and final store my fiancé and I went to when we were looking for my ring. We were treated like we were the only customers in the store and we were able to pick out a ring with the help of the staff there. I didn't feel rushed to make a decision and all of my questions were answered by true professionals. I will definitely be back to get our wedding bands. If you want a more comfortable and personal experience shopping for a ring this is definitely the jeweler for you.

I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Tom and the jewelers at J Thomas. He patiently collaborated with my fiancée and I ensuring that our custom designed engagement ring was exactly as we wanted. I have never seen a more beautiful ring and it's exactly what we wanted. We have visited many jewelry stores and their service is second to none. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and provides you with the best experience. The quality of my ring is awesome, it is beautiful! I can't believe how much it sparkles and shines! My fiance even says he "ordered" extra sparkles. I think he just picked a really quality diamond. They were wonderful to meet in person after the proposal and I made a wish list for future gifts. They even sized my ring in one day, I was able to pick it up before close that evening! Love them!

Go in with an open mind. Trust the ENTIRE staff at J.Thomas. THIS IS WHAT THEY DO. Their goal is to make you happy and take her breath away. From the start of the process to the end they will help you any way they can. With some help dreams and ideas become beautiful reality. The 100% custom ring they made for me is absolutely perfect and exceeded all of my expectations.

J. Thomas Jeweler's gave my fiance and I the best experience! The ring my Fiance gave me was in silver, after he proposed we decided we wanted the ring in gold and J. Thomas Jeweler's was MORE than accommodating with us to have this done. I would be without my ring for about 3 weeks to have this change made and they provided me with a replacement ring with my diamond in it while the manufacturer made the change.

We recently went back to J. Thomas to pick out our wedding bands, and not knowing what I wanted going into the store, they let me try on as many bands as I felt necessary. They have a lot of different styles and options to choose from. For my fiance's wedding band he found one he liked, but just wanted it to be a little heavier.. NO PROBLEM! They were able to order him one that suited his style more.

Overall great experience and wonderful people who work there! So glad my Fiance choose them for my ring and not one of the typical chain jewelry stores.

I purchased an engagement ring for my fiance here and had an amazing customer experience! I was recommended to come here by my sister and Im glad I did. I literally had no idea what to look for when choosing an engagement ring when I first walked in but now I feel like an expert. Noreen was wonderful to work with and helped educate me on what to look for every step of the way. I looked at many settings and diamonds until I was certain I found the perfect ring. The prices were great and I received everything on time. My fiance was blown away when I proposed to her and she is obsessed over her ring. I would 100% recommend J Thomas to anyone shopping for jewelry because they help you find the right piece that you'll be completely happy with and at a great price. I have purchased jewelry from them before and have always loved the service and the relationship you build with the staff. After looking at other places for rings, the service at the other places could barely match up to the service we received here. We were welcomed with open arms and patiently worked with while I tried MANY rings on. I highly recommend J Thomas Jewelers! The entire staff is friendly, knowledgable, and extremely helpful. Before going to J Thomas Jewelers, I was very nervous about finding the perfect ring for my partner. I was really scared that I might not be able to find an affordable yet stunning ring. However, once I arrived at the store, Noreen and Tom made the entire experience easy. They showed me a variety of beautiful rings in my price range and I found the perfect one! They were able to offer comfortable financing and I left excited knowing that all I had to do now was plan how to pop the question.

My partner said yes and we went back to the store shortly after to get the ring sized. The entire staff was so happy for us and they were able to size the ring immediately.

Friends, family, and even strangers keep commenting on how georgeous the ring is! I must say...it looks A LOT more expensive than it was...and who doesn't love that?!

I will absolutely be a lifelong customer of J Thomas Jewelers!

My husband bought my engagement ring and wedding band from J Thomas. I absolutely love my rings and receive so many compliments. My family has used J. Thomas Jewelers for all their jewelry for the past 15 years, so they highly recommended J. Thomas for when my boyfriend wanted to go buy my engagement ring. I have to say that they are absolutely amazing!!! They flew in diamonds so that my fiance could pick out the center stone he wanted and then they were able to create my engagement ring very quickly. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, they even were able to re-size my ring in just a few days. They Make Love Rock! I can't wait to go back and pick out our wedding bands.

I had a great experiance at J. Thomas Jewelers! The staff was great... friendly, super helpful and they treated me like family. It was a refreshingly different experience than you will receive at the larger jewlery chains. I always get the feeling that the large jewlery chains are just telling you what they think you want to hear to push product. This is not the case at J. Thomas - they were honest and gave me real facts not just what they thought I wanted to hear. The quality of Jewlery was also great. Tom and Noreen helped me build a fantastic engagement ring! The after sale service as been great as well including free ring cleanings. I would definitely recommend J. Thomas and will be back!

We bought my husband's wedding band here because they were very close to our house, and they are a local family-run business. Stephanie is so helpful, and we had a great experience. I also had my ring appraised and re-plated at the same time, and they fixed a loose stone at no extra charge. They also appraised my ring for several thousand dollars more than it appraised for at the place we originally bought it!

If you're looking for a great mom-and-pop jeweler outside Detroit, look no further!

Everyone at J. Thomas Jewelers was so friendly and helpful! I came in after my fiance proposed and every single employee there was excited to meet me, excited to hear the story, and eager to help with the next steps. They re-sized my ring in less than 24 hours and sent me off with a whole folder full of coupons for all kinds of wedding vendors, cleaning supplies for my ring, and they gave the appraisal to my fiance without any delay. We would recommend them to anyone because our experience was better than I could ever imagine!

To say that I was left utterly speechless is an understatement. Although I was involved in designing my engagement ring and wedding band, I never saw the final product until Tom proposed. It is beyond beautiful! The staff at J.Thomas treated us as part of the family from day one. I'm a high maintenance perfectionist and Tom designed my ring in CAD to ensure perfection. The setting is just stunning. I suffered the loss of a lifetime when my beautiful puppy left me. I did not hesitate to turn to J.Thomas so help me create a ring and pendant to honor my boy. There was not a dry eye in the store when I brought the paw print in for inspiration nor when I picked up the pieces. They are amazing! Everything is so professional, completed in a timely manner, and just breath taking when they are done. I look forward to buying many pieces from them in the future.

I LOVE this jewelry sstore and wouldn't shop anywhere else. J. Thomas is a family busines and as a customer, they make you feel like part of their family. From my experience, I have found the sales associates to be good listeners when describing what I want and they go above and beyond to help me find just the right piece of jewelry. They are professional and you definitely get what you pay for because everything they carry seems to be top quality. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting this beautiful facility to anyone who has not yet had the chance.

Eric and Tom were really great. It's sort of intimidating looking for an engagement ring, but they really made it as easy and comfortable as anything else. They do the little things like sending a card, following up with you and genuinely care about how everything went. They remembered my name even though I had only been in there twice and greeted me not only with a hello, but if there was anything that they could do at all to help the situation run more smooth. They are fantastic jewelers, but more importantly they are even better people. Guys, if you stumbled across this site while doing your homework on rings, look no further. Do yourself a favor and at the very least stop in to see them.

Working with J Thomas was a breeze. My wife found the perfect engagement ring and has loved it ever since. They are friendly, professional, and quick. I also found my wedding ring there. I didn't realize that men had so many options as well. I would highly recommend their services. My only complaint is their hours. They are not open past 5:30pm, which makes it difficult to see them after work if you work the usual 8-5 work day.

I came in and was able to walk out with an engagement ring same day and they were able to work within my budget. A month later I came back to get the ring sized and they were just as friendly and professional as when I first introduced myself. The ring was sized accordingly in 5 business days and they were able to create a custom mold for the wedding band in the same time. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience and I would recommend J. Thomas Jewelers to anyone in Oakland County.
