    They are always amazing! I found a very unique ring there and they take care of me with cleanings and checking on it for me every three months. I love it there and wouldn't have gone anywhere else.

    Amazing all around

    My now husband and I got my engagement ring and both wedding bands from J.R Fox. We wanted something completely unique so we decided to go with custom made and Emily was great at helping with the design and creation of my rings! They turned out exactly how we wanted and we couldn’t be more thrilled! I love being able to go into the store for cleanings/repairs/questions and knowing they’ll always be in business.

    They have met all of our needs. We were always treated with respect. They even had my rings soldered & clean within a couple of hours the day before my wedding. Will definitely go back!

    I had such a wonderful experience at jr fox. The staff was great and helpful. I will never go anywhere else.

    Very professional and kind, we had our wedding bands set aside for us. Greatest selection available that we saw for our price range. We made payments with no interest and received our bands perfect and sized well before the big day.
    I would highly recommend them.

    We absolutely loved the experience! We have since returned to take care of all our jewelry needs there. They gave us much more personal attention and remember us when we walk in to get my ring checked and cleaned!

    JR Fox is my favorite jeweler. The staff there are more than helpful without being pushy. I had my wifes ring custom made and designed there. Excellent quality of workmanship and sales service.

    My husband and I used this vendor after shopping around for a good price on pearls. The expression "You get what you pay for" held true. I was having a custom piece made and multiple problems continued to arise. It was one thing after another. The main problem occurred when it was finally ready for pick-up. The week of the big day, I had my pearls but they were not as I described when ordering them. J.R Fox attributed it to poor communication between the many staff members we spoke to, and myself. Stating " The person who took the order for you did not understand that you wanted your necklace that way." When asking to speak with a manager, it only got worse. She was the most difficult manager I have ever encountered with poor communication skills. They offered to fix the necklace at an extra $100 cost. I left the store still feeling as though they did not understand anything we said to them. I will never use this jeweler again!

    Go somewhere else


    My main diamond (1-1/2 C marquis) had fallen out of the head. I took it to J.R .Fox to have it repaired. They said they could do it and secure some looser diamonds on the band side. I assumed they would repair my original head, never was I advised that they would be replacing the head.

    The new head (that Kyle stated he chose) was half the height of the original head. I talked to Kyle and he offered to replace the head but stated it was measured in mm and it was difficult to measure the old against the new. I stated “but it’s measurable”? I asked why if he chose another head, why wasn’t I consulted? I was the one paying for it and I would have NEVER wanted another head that was ½ the height

    I asked why I should trust them with my ring again. Kyle then stated that they could “put the old head back on”, I asked him if that made any sense since the diamond fell out of the old head. I really couldn’t believe he would even suggest that. I walked out stating that I would be calling my credit card company to dispute the charge and I told Kyle that if he could “think” of any other options, he had my number. I just paid over $1,000.00 to get my ring REPAIRED, NOT ALTERED!!! I said that if the head was ½ the height of the original head that they SHOULD have called me to explain and I would have happily come in to pick out my own head, it WASN’T THEIR DECISION, it was MINE! —common sense with regards to customer service. I left the establishment.

    I went back 5 mins later and told Kyle I would like to compare my original head with the one HE placed on the ring. Kyle asked me to step into one of the rooms. Kyle then asked if I was going to “take off with the original head”? I asked him if he was kidding—he said no. How insulting and unprofessional, so now I’m being looked at as a possible thief?? I should have had the conversation in the open, then there would have been witnesses to anything Kyle had said. Kyle should respect everyone who enters the establishment. We own 2 homes on the lake, 6 cars, including Corvettes and I had a full band diamond platinum on my right hand and a Rolex on my left wrist—pay attention Kyle, read your customers! I repeated that he wanted to take the old head and put it back on the ring, I asked him what kind of jeweler he was, his reply “a good one”, and then added “I don’t get talked to that way”. HOW ARROGANT. Beware of J.R. Fox, Kyle is arrogant and insults customers. I would never trust them to any of my jewelry pieces. Remember Kyle, you never have a second chance to make a first impression.

    My wedding band purchase was the worst customer service experience of my life.

    I ordered a size 6.5 wedding band from the Ireland Road JR Fox Jewelers. When it came in six weeks later, it was a size 6. Immediately, it seemed too tight. I took it to three jewelers at UP Mall and the JR Fox store on Grape Road. All four stores confirmed that the ring was not a size 6.5, but a size 6 instead.

    JR Fox would not give me a new ring in the size that I ordered, even though it was unworn. They would only resize the band. The Fox sister that works at the Grape Road location told me that I was crazy for wanting a larger size. Why can't I have the size that I ordered?
