We would give Jack 20,000 Stars if we could!!

Justin and I's wedding was, for lack of better words, incredibly magical. Jack was SO helpful from beginning to end, and honestly did so much more for us and our big day than we expected.

For example, because I was away all morning getting ready with my bridesmaids, I wasn't able to see how the venue looked until the reception time (it took a whole village of family members to put it all together... needless to say I was worried, lol...) but Jack was so thoughtful and proactively-thinking, that he recommended to us privately that my husband and I do a "first-look" of our reception room.... and my goodness, he was right –– and it's a beautiful moment that I'll cherish forever, and getting to enjoy the room before having to tend to all of our guests later. Jack facilitated everything that night so professionally, but also created so many laughs and smiles that we'll never forget. We would 100x over choose Jack for his services, and truly can't appreciate him enough for his part in our day. It was truly our style, and NO CHEESE as he says, lol.

He thoroughness and attention to detail was such a sigh of relief, and truly felt like we were in great hands and had one less thing to worry about. THANK YOU JACK!!

Jack brought a professional, friendly atmosphere to our wedding and did a great job listening to our wants and adapting to things on the fly (as the weather was very unpredictable...and he was very calm, too....which helped me remain calm, too!). I would absolutely book him for your wedding/event.

Expectations Exceeded

Jack made our wedding move smoothly throughout the entire night. He asked for what we were envisioning and absolutely exceeded our expectations. He made it fun, smooth and honestly as stress free as a wedding day could be! Our guests were very complimentary as well as they liked his music and that he was not obnoxious like other wedding DJs they've experienced.

Knocked Out of the Park

Very Fun Music & Time!

Jack was AMAZING!!! he played super fun songs, plus all of the songs we listed we wanted to hear and all of our guests were dancing, one of them even broke her shoes from dancing so hard! He was very accommodating and made sure that the vision my husband & I had for our reception was met. Great job and lots of compliments.

Fun Wedding DJ

Jack did a phenomenal job & was also highly recommended by our venue! He was very respectful, and always knew what music to play to keep our guests dancing! We received lots of compliments on the amazing job he did from our guests. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better for our wedding!

Everyone Loved Jack

Highly recommend working with Jack!! We got a lot of compliments about him from guests and other vendors who were at the wedding - he really did keep people dancing all night. We also loved how thorough the planning meeting we had with him as well as the online portal where we could plug in all of our info, special songs and playlist recommendations. It helped keep us super organized!

Jack is the best!

While wedding planning is stressful, Jack absolutely made the process much easier and set my mind at ease prior to the big day. I had no idea where to start with a day-of timeline, and he was very helpful and accommodating while navigating exactly how we wanted our perfect day to flow! Not to mention, the online planning portal made it a breeze to be able to add/edit/delete anything when I changed my mind 100 times. Everything went perfectly and I can’t say enough great things about how professional and kind he was!

Absolutely wonderful

When planning a wedding we wanted to make sure the person we discussed our plans with was the same one we had with us on our wedding day and that is exactly what we got! Responsive, proactive, and kept the party going! Our friends had an awesome time and DJ J Helbig made our first dance extra special by inserting part of our vows into the music. Jack IS the man!

We had a lot of anxiety about planning our own wedding in October 2022, particularly finding a DJ who would be able to keep the party going (it was a Sunday wedding!) in addition to staying organized and delivering on our vision for the ceremony/reception. After attending another wedding earlier in the year where Jack was the DJ, we immediately requested his information from the bride and reached out. Jack met with us twice in the several months leading up to the wedding. First, we met after reaching out to go over our expectations and to explore his website where we could add music and other details to customize the ceremony/reception. We then met roughly two weeks before the wedding in October where Jack went over all of the little details that had been stressing us out (i.e. schedule, name pronunciations, special dance songs, ceremony entrance/exit songs, reception introductions, etc.). Jack was extremely accessible, patient, and understanding and was committed to making sure everything went as we had imagined. Finally, the big day came and Jack delivered in a huge way. He arrived at the venue and sought out the venue staff and our minister to confirm logistics and ensure that the schedule was kept as closely as possible (given the expected wedding day chaos). In addition to providing the music for the ceremony/reception, he helped organize our wedding party, made introductions to the reception, and MC'd for all the toasts/speeches, special dances, and cake cutting. Through his website and through conversations leading up to the wedding, the music was perfectly catered to us and our friends and family. It was a Sunday wedding and Jack had our guests on the dance floor right up until the very end. He then helped coordinate our exit from the venue. In the weeks following the wedding, we received several compliments from friends and family who had a blast and were blown away with how much dancing there was on a Sunday. Everyone raved about Jack's ability to keep folks on the dance floor, while we raved about Jack's ability to keep us on schedule, stop us from worrying over the minute details, and allow us to simply enjoy the moment. That's all to say that we have nothing but great things to say about Jack and highly recommend him. If you are looking for a DJ that can keep the party going AND allow you to step back, take a breath, and enjoy the moment, Jack is the man for the job.

Above & Beyond and amazing

Jack was amazing for our wedding, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ for a wedding or any other event. In the leadup we had multiple video conversations with him, and his website for song requests was well put together and a great idea. These are just a couple examples of how Jack goes above and beyond. He also is great on the day as far as handling the process and flow of things. Again, Jack would be a big recommend from us for any occasion.

Amazing Experience with Professional DJ

We couldn't have been happier about having Jack as our wedding DJ. He was extremely professional and handled everything smoothly at the reception. He is very accommodating and went over every detail during our final consultation to make sure we had nothing to worry about when our big day arrived. Our dancefloor was packed the entire night and it's all thanks to Jack. He even surprised us with fun light-up glow sticks for our guests! Afterwards, we had multiple friends and family members comment on how impressed they were with our DJ! Can't thank Jack enough, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ to make their event one to remember!!!

Wedding DJ Review

The J Helbig No Cheese Boutique DJ was outstanding from beginning to end. When he says "no cheese" he certainly means it and we appreciate it. He made the entire planning process very easy for us. We appreciated all of his input and advice. He is very thorough and knows exactly how to read a wedding. Our guests enjoyed every second of our wedding reception and we had an absolute blast. We couldn't get people off of the dance floor. We were able to give him a general idea about what we wanted but he was able to fill in the blanks and made it very special. He kept to the natural flow of the wedding reception and his experience shines throughout the night. We are so happy that we chose J Helbig and he is HIGHLY recommended. Definitely did an amazing job and would hire again without reservations.

The best dj ever!

Jack is talented, detailed, and so fun to have at your wedding! He made the night! And totally lived up to the "no cheese." He guided us with the timeline and the things we were unsure of. He was relaxed but also didn't let anything slip by! He went with the flow and advised us to do the same and it was PERFECT. He listened to our requests and all of our guests loved him. They danced until 11pm and would have kept on if we could. He had the perfect playlist for our guests! Thank you so much, Jack!

Match Made in Heaven!

DJ Jack is HANDS DOWN the best DJ you'll find in the area. My husband and I are really into music, and after searching around for a DJ that would make us and all of our guests party all night long, we found Jack -- it was a match made in heaven! A wedding was a month ago, but our guests still talk about how phenomenal the music! 90s throwbacks, Cardi B, Roddy Rich, and more, our guests were stunned at how Jack felt the vibe and adjusted. It was a full dance floor the entire night, and that's exactly what we wanted. He was a wonderful MC, and was so kind and knowledgable in our planning meetings. Albanian-Ukrainian Wedding - Great DJ

A Great DJ

Jack was great to work with. His planning tools and song request website is a great touch. He kept everything running smoothly and made sure everyone had a great time! Exactly who we were looking for!

Thank you to Jack. We were so worried our day would turn out boring but Jack made it amazing! He was very professional, on time, and just great with handling anything thrown at him! The music was great and everyone wanted a part 3 to our wedding. if it wasn't the great music and mc'ing he did, we're not sure how our day would have turned out. Also we were married January and had to reschedule because of Covid. He gave us no issue and was able to reschedule immediately to another date. He didn't make anything hard on us. Kept the party moving!

The big three priorities for our wedding were great food, authentic beer, and rocking music. Jack absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding reception last weekend! We are big on rock and ska, and let him know that the vast majority of our guest-list was going to dance all night if they had the chance, and they really did. He was able to get a sense of the crowd and adapt a perfect playlist off of music we had suggested, and just kept it going seamlessly throughout the night. Very easy to work with and super responsive to any questions or ideas you may have!

Great DJ that will focus on your needs!

Great experience with Jack. He pampers to the Bride and Groom and really puts time and effort into your special day! The only thing I wish I would have had partially different was he tends to not play an entire song and only short clips. This is great if you want to hear more songs however, some of the good ones, the ending is the best part so make sure you make that clear in your prior meetings!! Highly recommended!

Referred Last Minute due to canceled DJ

Our original DJ had to cancel the week of our wedding due to Covid. Jack was referred to us with about 48 hours before our wedding and Jack got it all together in that time. The day before, he even reached out to confirm details (music, names, other details). He provided music for our ceremony & reception and is very organized. In the short amount of time, Jack he got it all together, really put me at ease and did a great job! Thanks.

He's Everything You Want in A DJ!

We could not have chosen a better DJ for our wedding than Jack! Immediately following my sisters wedding where he also was the DJ, I knew I had to have him as the DJ for my wedding as well (forget the fact I wasn’t even engaged)! Fast forward a year, and Jack was the first call I made the day following my engagement to book! He is thorough, professional, pays attention to detail, and personalizes every aspect to the couple! And let’s not forget he is a master at keeping the energy of the party going, making sure the dance floor is always full! He’s everything you’d want in a DJ, and we could not recommend him enough!

An amazing DJ/MC!

Jack killed it from start to finish. In the months leading up to the wedding, he showed great attention to detail and was always accommodating, even when coronavirus made us push the wedding back several months.

The day of the wedding, he was such a great person to have around. Jack made sure he knew what was happening every moment, who was in charge of it and made sure it all went perfectly. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the dinner and reception, he worked hand-in-hand with our wedding coordinator to make sure it went smoothly.

Jack also crushed it with the music! He seemed to play nearly every song we had asked for and also had music videos on a projector for tons of the songs. Everyone was having such a great time, he even offered to keep playing for another 30 minutes after he was supposed to leave.

Couldn't think of anything else you could ask for in a DJ.

Jack is an amazing Dj!

You just can’t go wrong with Jack and his DJ expertise! Jack did an amazing job at our August 8th wedding! From the very first meeting My husband and I felt very comfortable with Jack. My husband and I have very different tastes in music, and Jack was able to meld our music into a very wonderful and cohesive mix of music. Everyone of our guests had an amazing evening of dancing! We had so much fun that we asked Jack to stay longer and he happily accommodated our wishes! We had an outdoor wedding at our home with 65 people in attendance.Everything went off without a hitch.. even when we threw in some unexpected requests, Jack handled it with professional ease!! Detailed and Professional.

My wife and I could not have been happier with Jack. From the beginning when we first contacted him, through the day of the event, he was very responsive to all questions and requests. He has a great online system that allows you to add songs and make notes regarding what you do or do not want at your event. He made time to meet up with us a couple of times before our wedding, he was extremely detailed during the entire planning process & made us very feel very relaxed. Professional, easy to work with, amazing!

We were so glad we chose Jack to be our DJ! He is extremely easy to work with and so professional. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night and there was never a dull or awkward moment with him. He met with us a few weeks beforehand and not only helped us figure out the plan for our music, but also helped guide us in terms of logistic planning with everything else, from the cake cutting to the timing of the toasts to first dances. It's obvious that he knows what he is doing, and there is no one I'd recommend more for a DJ. The entire reception went so smoothly because of him, and I didn't have to worry about anything other than having a good time!

A Perfect DJ For Our Day!

Jack was so wonderful to work with. We could not have asked for a more perfect DJ for our big day! From email communications, to in person meetings, to finally working together on our big day Jack is always prepared and professional. I heard 2 things about Jack throughout our wedding night and there after: 1) how professional he is and 2) how great of music he was playing! He kept the night on schedule and made sure my husband and I were able to enjoy the evening! He really is the best and we are so lucky we got to work with him. He adds many thoughtful touches throughout the wedding experience that were so meaningful as well. It’s hard to put into words how great it was to work with him. Amazing & More Than Just a DJ

Jack did an amazing job with our wedding and we're so happy we put him in charge of our music! Jack is the best!

There are no words. Jack exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail was unreal. I never expected that from a DJ. I remember when we were calling around at the beginning of the process - every time we called different DJ's, we talked to a different person. When we called Jack, it was him every time! This is a must!!! Talking, planning and getting to know your DJ makes such a difference. We met with him a few times throughout the planning process. He is incredibly thorough and thoughtful. He put such a personal touch on everything and the night ran smoothly. He got people dancing and had a super fun social media screen. He is also super reasonably priced. For the amount of work he put it, he was probably the best value of our entire wedding. Plus he is such a nice guy!!! Go with Jack! You wont be disappointed!

Made the day perfect

In addition to making sure the dance floor was packed the entire time, Jack also paid attention the little details about Joe and I. We have gotten nothing but compliments about how great the music was, and the music videos and having people text in pics for us to look at later made for a unique experience for everyone. Attentive, Laid Back & Detailed - Great!!!

All our requests were met, and the sound quality was great but not overpowering (we've been to weddings where the music was blasting constantly). Jack did the music for our
ceremony & the reception. He was great to work with, arrived super-early to set-up & test, was laid back and checked in with me
periodically during the night to make sure all was well. Jack was extremely helpful in planning everything; he held it
together and didn't miss a thing- great for someone like me who appreciates getting every detail nailed down (he was very detailed-driven...and his Boutique branding truly fit the bill). The
guests particularly loved the social media texting of messages and pictures being displayed on a screen. I wouldn't

Attentive & Tailored Personally to our Vision

Jack was the best DJ we could have ever hoped for! He was attentive to our wants and questions, and was full of ideas and had a helpful insight on things we were not too familiar about. He made sure that what we wanted came first and was executed at the highest level along with maintaining a level or professionalism but also being very personable and easy to communicate with. Jack Saved Our Wedding

Jack is truly a wedding savior! Our original DJ ghosted us with less than 2 weeks before our wedding and we started to panic. Luckily one of our vendors highly recommended him and we’re so glad she did. We loved his website and when we spoke, he immediately put me at ease. Jack also informed me that this DJ (Dave Ruffo & operating under numerous different company names) has an extensive history of doing this or canceling last minute (Google his name). Jack was great in helping me get a complete refund from my credit card company as well. Jack has a very detailed online planning website and was always available to answer any questions (as the day was getting close & it felt like we were starting from scratch). At our final meeting before our wedding, he was extremely detailed and made it completely stress-free. Day of, he was flawless. We even wound up completely switching around the order of the bridal party and he nailed it. We were constantly getting compliments about Jack all night; we're still getting compliments!!! Jack saved our wedding – literally – and gave us all a great wedding and great time. You will have NO regrets by choosing Jack.

Great DJ & MC, Detailed & Flawless

Jack was wonderful to work with! He was very professional, organized, and helpful in giving us advice and tips on what he has seen at other weddings as far as flow, timing, songs to choose from, etc. He was an excellent MC and kept the dancing going for the whole reception! A great DJ!

We had Jack DJ and MC for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and he did a great job. His attention to detail was apparent from the our first meeting up through our final meeting. The planning process was aided by a handful of planning forms Jack provided, which not only gave him clarity on what we wanted in terms of itinerary, songs, specific events, etc., but they gave us a better idea of what we needed to account for in planning our day. Our ceremony and reception were at the same venue, but our ceremony was outdoors while our reception was indoors, and Jack had the equipment and the skill to transition between the two seamlessly. At our reception, Jack got the crowd engaged from the moment we entered the room until the end of the night, and kept everyone out on the dance floor moving, which speaks to his experience in the broadcast industry. Throughout the whole event, he kept everything professional, and did everything he could so my wife and I could enjoy the evening without sweating the details. We wold not hesitate to recommend Jack to anyone else looking for a great wedding DJ and MC.

Outstanding!

To say that our expectations were exceeded thru the whole process of our wedding working with Jack would be an understatement. Not only was he more than helpful from the start, but his professionalism and expertise provided us comfort knowing he would make our day nothing short of amazing. With all of the hoopla of the day and keeping up with schedule, he kept us relaxed and free of stress. He really means it when he says that our only "job" is to have fun and not worry about a thing.
There were things he provided that we had no clue would be part of our evening, and the tandem worked extremely well together in the transitioning of music, announcements, and overall vibrancy of the evening. When everyone that attended the wedding continually tells us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and that the music was perfectly put and ambiance appropriate, Jack definitely held a lot of that responsibility.

Way Above & Beyond

Jack went above and beyond to make both our ceremony and reception go off without a hitch! A few months before our wedding we met with Jack to go over all of the details and specifics for our wedding which put my mind at ease that he would have everything set and under control and he did! At this meeting he also took the time to learn about us as a couple so he could make our evening more personal which was a great touch! Jack also made sure the evening went according to the timeline we discussed and that the dance floor was always full. He followed our requests for songs that must be played and songs that we didn't want to be played as well as making sure there was a variety of song speeds and genres to make sure everyone was up and dancing. After the wedding, all of our guests commented about how much fun they had and I think a big part of that was Jack and his professionalism, experience, and ability to read the crowd and know what will get them up and dancing. Personally, our favorite part of the night was dancing with our family and friends and that wouldn't have been possible without Jack. I would recommend Jack to anyone getting married!

Jack Helbig is the best pick!

Jack Helbig was great! Friendly and personable, as well as easy to be around. He impressed us with his professionalism and great communication. If you had any issues or questions, you could reach out to him in a number of ways, making him very easy to get a hold of (which is awesome when you're stressing about a reception). Actually, we didn't have to stress about a thing at our reception because Jack Helbig handled every last detail once we were there. When you book Jack Helbig, you're getting an excellent DJ but also an off-the-charts MC. My wife and I are avid WCPN listeners, so we were incredibly excited to have a local celebrity be a part of our wedding day. Since Jack Helbig is in the radio business, he knows his stuff about the technology he brings to the table. Having been to weddings since my own, I can say that Jack Helbig is the best-of-the-best: he reads the room, playing what everyone wants to hear and none of that other mumbo-jumbo. Amazing Time. Guests Didn't Want To Leave

Jack was such a big part of planning our entire wedding. He was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. His expertise definitely put me at ease during the reception. The first time my husband and I met him he said that his job is to have us enjoy our reception and not be worried about the timeline. To say that Jack made that happen is an understatement. Our reception was so much fun for our guests and well as allowing my husband and I to have a relaxing, absolutely amazing time. Jack did an amazing job as the DJ/MC of my wedding in Sept 2018! He kept the party going all night long with his music selections, and truly played to the crowd on the dance floor! He is very diligent in his work and spent a few hours with us at dinner the week before our wedding to nail down everything that we wanted. During this dinner he also gathered information about us through conversation and questions to create an amazing introduction for us into our reception. Both my husband (!!) and I teared up as he was telling our story adding sentimental details and humor. We can't thank Jack enough!

We hired Jack Helbig for our wedding and could not have been happier with him. Our entrance music for the bridal party was fairly complicated since each couple had their own theme song and he did a phenomenal job with it. He kept the dance floor full all night and kept to our requests for what we wanted played, what we did not want played & he did a great job really reading the crowd & throwing is some great party flashbacks we hadn't heard in years!!!
He was very personable and very professional. People absolutely LOVED the music videos that were played during dancing and his social media service where guests were sending texts of themselves during the night....and Jack sent us all of them after the wedding. It was a really awesome touch! I would 100% recommend Jack Helbig to anyone getting married in the future. He did a fantastic job with everything that we asked of him!

We could not have been more pleased with Jack Helbig at my daughter's wedding. Jack really impressed us during our initial interview and he continued to impress us throughout our entire planning process. Jack was so nice and planned our reception so perfectly!
So many people told us that our reception flowed so well and that it felt so relaxed. I know a lot of that was from the detailed conversations that we had with Jack to plan our night!
Jack's set up was beautiful, he had a screen that displayed our name and hashtag (I'm not sure if it was purposeful, but it matched our wedding invites!) and he played music videos on it throughout the night! I can't thank him enough for how great of a job he did.

Jack was a one of a kind DJ that gave us everything we were looking for and much more! We didn’t want the typical obnoxious DJ that seems to be the norm at weddings. Jack’s “Non-Cheesy, Non-Obnoxious” slogan stood out to us immediately & his approach towards wedding was what we were looking for. And he delivered.

Jack did a great job at our reception, despite some unexpected challenges from our venue.
During, after (at our after-party) & the next morning at our brunch, we received tons of compliments on how good the music was and how good the DJ was. The best part is the comments were from the younger and older crowd, so everyone of all ages had good things to say.
The heat from the inadequate/broken AC presided a big challenge, but the good music kept people dancing.

Sometimes people oversell themselves, but Jack did exactly what he said he was going to do, very professional, very organized. Thank you!

Jack was everything we hoped for in a DJ for our big day! From the first time we met with him we told him that the most important thing to us was that our guests were able to dance & have a great time through the entire reception--- and he did not disappoint! We have heard so much positive feedback about the music at our wedding & even had family members that we barely knew say that it was the best wedding reception that they had ever been to.

I remember looking around & seeing literally everybody on the dance floor at one point.
His online planner was detailed & awesome because we were also able to select songs that we wanted to hear throughout various parts of the reception. My advice to those planning a wedding---invest in your DJ! It truly pays off. Thank you Jack for everything you did to make our day everything we pictured & more!

Jack did a tremendous job for our wedding. He was extremely detailed in planning for our special day and as a result everything ran very smoothly at the reception. Jack was very attentive to our needs at Landolls Mohican Castle. He strove to ensure that my wife and I's wedding was perfect, and it really was. Stress free, enjoyable, and most of all fun. I highly recommend booking him at your next event.

From the beginning, Jack was accommodating and accessible. He came twice before the wedding for an initial consultation and then for a final consultation before the big day. He spent a lot of time making sure we were in the loop and satisfied with how things would go. On the day of, Jack was prompt and worked to make our day as fun and enjoyable as possible. He kept the music flowing and catered to the vibes of the guests. Everyone had an amazing time, and we know it wouldn't have been the same without Jack.

Of all of the people we worked with regarding our wedding, Jack was by far the most on top of things. He followed through with everything he promised and my new husband and I were very impressed. We would recommend Jack to anyone we know! He puts on a great party, and he keeps everything on time. A DJ can make or break a wedding and Jack absolutely made ours. We have gotten so many compliments! Absolutely book him!

My husband & I were UNBELIEVABLY happy with the service Jack provided for our reception. We, honestly, could not have chosen a better DJ. Jack was pretty professional, helpful & engaging. He played a great mix of music (which was not cheesy; he really dug into the great songs from the 90's and 2000's that we used to love to dance to back then) and our guests loved him. And, we also were surprised by the "gobo" lighting he added that was shown on our dance floor. I was really impressed seeing that as we made our grand entrance. We really couldn't have asked for more. Jack really went the extra miles to make sure everything was perfect for our reception.

Jack was fantastic & an absolute blast & easy to work with! I can't state enough just how much Jack contributed to making our reception what it was! It even went later than planned.
We were attracted to his "no cheese & no hokey pokey" & songs like that philosophy & after talking and meeting him, we knew Jack was the DJ we were looking for (we've been to enough weddings where DJ's did nothing but talk & play the same music). Plus, Jack was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the 'DJ's' we've seen and talked to.

Jack was very detailed & really gave us some great suggestions & also handled all of the coordination (another thing that attracted us to him) which allowed us to have fun at our reception. My husband was really stuck on a song for his dance with his mom & Jack was really helpful in giving suggestions as to what to consider (my husband wound up using one of his suggestions & his mom loved it -- laughed and cried a little bit).

We appreciated him taking the time to get to know us and find out about how we met (& asked about our bridal party members) and he worked that into our introductions, which was a nice touch (and some of our guests complimented it too). He was wonderful and keeping the event flowing -- without rushing things. He really means it when he says that the only job we had was to enjoy our reception with our guests -- and worry about nothing else! Our guests were very complimentary of Jack and we've already referred a couple of couples to him for their wedding).
He was worth every penny. Thanks so much, Jack.

If I could give Jack 50 stars, I would. He was more than just a DJ -- he was also our MC & Host. Four months later, our guests are still talking about our reception. Jack made it more fun than my husband and I ever could've imagined. One thing he stressed to us -- especially during our final meeting with us -- is that the only thing we need to worry about at our reception was having fun with our family & friends. Nothing else. And Jack made sure we did just that. He handled everything for us with our venue and especially our photographer so we could do just that. She even commented that it was a pleasure to work with Jack because he kept her in the loop with everything.
Jack also provided uplighting and we told him the color mix we wanting (a mix of blue and green) & although we couldn't give him a good sample of the color we were leaning toward, when we showed up, he nailed it! It looked great! Jack was extremely detailed and his music planner was really fun to use -- I could provide songs I wanted to hear and didn't.
Jack was awesome! He delivers what he says he will -- and much much more. Thanks so much again, Jack!

Jack was absolutely amazing! Everybody commented on the great selection of music he played throughout the wedding reception that kept everyone (ages 4 to 80+) on their feet. He also played the music throughout the wedding ceremony and everything was spot on. He was very thorough and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ that allows everyone to have a good time without any "cheese." He truly stood by that statement.

We went with Jack Helbig in part due to his "no cheesy DJ" slogan. And we were very happy with our choice! Jack spent time getting to know us and our music preferences, which I sincerely appreciated. He kept the day flowing and kept our guests informed of events throughout the night. He was very thoughtful of our do not play list and very thorough in getting to know our venue before the wedding as well. We were very satisfied with Jack and I would highly recommend him to any bride looking for a DJ who listens and isn't on the dance floor trying to make people do something they may not want to do! We got married this August 1, 2015 and Jack was an amazing DJ to work with from start to finish. My husband and I really appreciated the quality time he took to get to know us during our meetings and that made all the difference for our reception. The night was just the way we wanted it, from the personalized grand entrance (he shared a bit about our love story), great mix of our taste in music selections, to helping our guests get to know more about us through the “shoe-ly wed game” (which was really fun!). Jack knows how to keep the party going and had our dance floor packed all night! We kept getting compliments afterwards saying how entertaining our reception was and we give all of that credit to Jack and his hard work. Another plus was that Jack was really organized and has a really awesome website to work with. Throughout the planning process we were able to login to his site and select what songs we wanted or didn’t want to hear. My husband and I also found it really neat that our guests could login with our guest username and password and request songs BEFORE the wedding. We just put the info on our invitation cards. VERY UNIQUE! I would HIGHLY recommend Jack Helbig for any event because he did an amazing job with our wedding reception!

Will update all categories after the wedding next year (if necessary), but after meeting with Jack, we couldn't have been more excited to book him for our wedding. He has been very responsive during initial contact and quoting, is knowledgeable and experienced with weddings, and seems to have a real passion and professionalism for his trade. I loved working with Jack. He met with us twice before the wedding day. He handled our music and mics for the outdoor ceremony and of course during the reception. He took the time to get to know us and it showed during the reception. He also played a great game that I got so many compliments about. It was fun and made everyone laugh. He played exactly what we wanted and was so completely professional. If I could throw my own wedding every year I would hire him again and again. If you are looking for someone to keep the party going and things running smoothly then hire Jack.

We had so much fun at our wedding and Jack did a great job. He's a great listener and really worked hard to provide services my husband and I had not even thought about, such as shortening down songs for the special dances that you want to enjoy but you don't want to run too long.

We were very happy with the service that was provided. He did sound service for our ceremony and provided a microphone for our officiant. The reception was great and he kept it flowing all night long. I would recommend him to my friends.

We hired Jack to DJ not for a wedding but for our daughters high school graduation party. He did a great job! We had several compliments from our guests on his style. He kept the music playing throughout the party. We asked for a softer sound during dinner and a more upbeat sound afterwards- Jack did just that! My daughter was able to go online before her party date and choose some songs that she wanted played at her party as well as list any songs she didn't want played- this was very nice. Jack made announcements throughout the party for us and even helped me out when our slideshow speaker failed- Thank you!!!! Overall, I would highly recommend Jack for any special event and when my son graduates in a couple of years, he will be the DJ I call on. :)

When we met Jack, he said his goal was to make sure we had the best party of our lives. He delivered! Jack did a great job as emcee and DJ at our wedding. We had a nice long consultation where he got to know us a bit and the type of crowd that would be at the reception. He kept things moving along and his music choices had the dance floor full nearly the entire night! We had a few "must play" songs but for the most part let Jack do his job, and he more than exceeded our (and our guests') expectations!

Jack was great! My husband is actually in the wedding business so he sees DJs all the time. We actually found Jack from a wedding my husband was working at and really liked his style! Jack is great about never letting the music stop (some DJs struggle with song transitions and there's a few seconds of silence). He's also good with reading the room to see what music the guests are dancing to.

Jack has an online program where couples can choose all their songs and even add song requests from guests. He's good about not playing music that doesn't fit the mood, even if a guest requests it, so as not to kill the dance floor.

Bottom line, Jack is very helpful with advice on how to make sure things run smoothly, he's professional, and he's one of the best priced out there! Book him- you won't regret it!

Jack saved our wedding when the other DJ we originally booked wasn't as "professional" as we thought. In addition to being the DJ for our reception, he also provided the music and separate set-up for our ceremony. His online planner is very detailed and we also liked that we were able to use the online planner for our music. Very organized and detailed with pretty much everything regarding the wedding...even coordinating everything with my photographer and caterer so I wouldn't have to. The uplighting was simply beautiful & looked better than we expected. We're so glad we found Jack.

Jack played a huge part in making our wedding the great time that it was & my husband I can't thank Jack enough for it; just a great job overall. We were looking for a DJ that wasn't one of those "over-the-top" obnoxious (cheesey) DJ's & would also coordinate the night for us. So, we were immediately attracted to Jack's services because of his "No Cheese" right on his website. He also included coordinating the wedding the night of (he even went as far as to visit the venue days before to check it out. Even the manager said to us that no other DJ does that). Another thing that stood out with Jack during talking to him is that he wanted to know about our vision for our wedding and tailored it to what we wanted--not like everyone else's wedding. Our guests complimented us throughout the night about Jack -- including our guests from the UK who had never been to a wedding in the US before. He was very personable and outgoing on the microphone, did a great job tailoring the music to our likes and our guests and really did a great job keeping the night flowing smoothly without being rushed. Just a great night....thanks!

Jack did an excellent job at our wedding. Great MC & very organized. We didn't want a cookie-cutter DJ & that's what attracted us to Jack in the first place (his "no cheese" got our attention). Upon talking to him more, my wife and I were very impressed & that he stood out from the other DJ's we talked to that pretty much did all of the same stuff. Stuff we've seen at friend's weddings and what we did not want at our wedding. He also handled our ceremony and did a great job keeping our guests entertained during pictures (which went a little longer than planned). Our guests were not dancers (we aren't either) and we received plenty of compliments on the music he was playing.

Jack was great. He was very thorough with everything. I didn't give him a ton of direction because I wasn't super specific about what I wanted but he played great music and things I wanted that I didn't even tell him. Two thumbs up. He had everyone dancing all night.

Can't say enough nice things about DJ Jack and everything he did for us during our reception. He even had our back when the hired security was attempting to have us stop the music earlier than our contract stated because people were having so much fun. Jack did a great job keeping the energy up and keeping people dancing. And we loved that he is a "no cheese" DJ and definitely lived up to it--he was able to get people involved without constantly talking like other DJ's we've seen at other weddings! He checked with us numerous times to make sure everything was going okay and my guests were very complimentary of him

My husband was coming home for a short time from the service & our time was limited to get married. I found Jack & hired him because of everything he offered as part of his wedding DJ package (and that he wasn't one of those DJ's who talks constantly) & his price was great! He was the DJ for our reception, and also provided music and microphones for our outdoor ceremony as they were in different locations about 20 minutes away. He had everything set up at both the ceremony location and at the reception venue early and on time. Jack even made the 2 hour drive down here (our reception and ceremony were both at different places in Columbus area) the week of my wedding to meet with me and go over everything at the venue. He was very organized (with our officiant and also at the reception) and personable. His online planner was great, too and very detailed. I'd highly recommend Jack.

Jack was excellent and my husband & I couldn't have been happier. We were particularly looking for a DJ who didn't do the "corny" stuff and that is something Jack specializes in. We also loved that he included coordinating all of the reception so we had nothing to worry about. We were running a little late and he had everything under control. Jack impressed us from the first meeting and didn't disappoint. We liked that he would be our DJ and no one else, along with not being the type of annoying DJ you see at weddings. Jack really did a great job with the music and really finding out about our crowd. He really surprised me with some of the "old school" stuff he dug up. Jack was very fun & professional. He was very detailed during our consultations and I felt very confident that we hired a great DJ for our night. It was also nice that he coordinated the entire night and worked very closely with our photographer (even our photographer was impressed with how much Jack kept her in-the-loop). They say the DJ can make or break a reception and Jack definitely made our reception the great time it was!
