Far Exceeded Our Expectations

Jen of JCarson Events is absolutely the best. She is somehow both affordable and priceless. We hired her to provide coordinating services to begin three months prior to our wedding. Even though I am already very organized and on-the-ball, I can still say that hiring Jen was our best move. She was completely worth it and provided us crucial support the entire time, handling the gritty details that I never would have even thought to consider.
In the lead up to the wedding, Jen always remained professional and flexible, sticking to our regular meeting times (and accommodating us when we requested an adjustment), giving us advice where we asked for it, keeping us on (well, ahead of) schedule, anticipating potential issues, and coordinating with vendors (which can be a lot more like herding cats than a person might realize, making us all the more glad we had Jen to do it).
When the big week came, Jen managed our many personal decor items and last-minute changes with ease. She knew exactly what to do at every moment and executed everything perfectly on the big day. She and her assistant, Gabby, put out with ease the metaphorical little fires that would inevitably erupt at any big event. They were both constant sources of positivity that day (and prior to the day). My partner and I were free to simply enjoy our wedding while Jen kept time and made sure things happened when and how they needed to.
I don’t know how Jen does it, but that’s the beauty of using her as your wedding coordinator: you don’t need to worry because you can trust that Jen will crush it. -

Best decision ever!
Jen and her assistants, Gabby and Jules, are an absolute dream team.
From the moment I started working with Jen, all of my worries about logistics and contracts dissipated. She is meticulous, organized, straightforward, and works to ensure you have the greatest experience on your wedding day.
Jen went through contracts that I signed before hiring her with a fine-tooth comb. She found mistakes we had made - specifically with our transportation contract - and quickly remedied them with reliable and reasonably-priced options that would work for the size of our party.
On the day of our wedding, Jen and her team made everything feel magical and effortless, despite dealing with many unexpected issues that could have been devastating if we didn't have them.
They allowed us to be blissfully ignorant about situations with vendors that didn't directly impact us on our special day. The team dealt with problems discretely and updated us in the days following our wedding, so that we could take the proper course of action with the company. Even after our wedding passed, Jen took the lead to make contact with the vendor and worked to make sure they rectified the issues.
Gabby and Jules were professional, but also exuded warmth. We were impressed with their ability to pivot and take on different roles. They helped with directing pictures, wrangling children, and they provided a good laugh when needed. They both made us feel comfortable immediately, and I'm forever grateful that they helped keep our day running smoothly.
J Carson Events is the reason my husband and I are able to look back on our wedding day and have only happy memories. My only regret is not hiring Jen earlier so that I could use all of her recommendations!

Jen gave us our dream wedding
Used Jen for partial planning services and just WOW. Best decision ever. She quite literally brought my vision board to life and made my wedding an absolutely dream. It was flawlessly executed to a t. And the process to get to that day was fun and low stress—lots of brides talk about how stressful and horrible wedding planning is, and that just wasn’t the case for me. I remember feeling physical relief after signing with Jen shortly after booking my venue, just knowing she was in my corner and steering the ship gave me a peace of mind that I still appreciate. Thanks to Jen, I was able to savor every moment of wedding planning fun and will always look back at that time fondly. Absolutely best project manager and collaborator I could have imagined.

Best decision I ever made
I don’t even know where to start. As the bride, Jen was everything and more I could have wanted in a wedding planner. I feel like I owe her my life! J Carson Events was the most worthwhile money we spent in our whole wedding planning process. Jen was professional, organized, trustworthy and made our overall wedding planning experience exponentially better. We are so appreciative of all the stress that she saved us. She is extremely detail oriented, and went the extra mile with all the vendors we were working with to make sure everything ran smoothly. Working with J Carson Events takes the unknowns out of the wedding planning equation, and helps you and your enjoy your special day even more. I could not recommend Jen and her services more to any couple that is planning a wedding! An absolute dream and pleasure to work with. -

Excellent Experienced Wedding Planner
Jen Carson is a professional inside it out. She is organized meticulous and a natural leader. She listened to our vision put it to paper, analyzed it, scrutinized every detail, managed the vendors and made it happen! I can admit that i was reluctant to get a wedding coordinator but after my experience with Jen and her team I can honestly say it was the best investment we made in the entire wedding. I would highly recommend Jen and will most definitely be using her again. -

If you are wedding planner shopping, seriously look no further than J Carson Events. We hired Jen for three months of planning which included biweekly zoom calls and weekly calls in the month leading up to the wedding - not to mention random questions via text or otherwise. She closely reviewed and edited all the vendor contracts, advocated for us, caught mistakes, and managed the adjustments as needed. As a bride, having Jen take over this communication, independent of needing us to be on the phone or involved, was a massive relief. One less thing off my plate!
Jen’s knowledge of the wedding world was invaluable to us. She is thorough and detail-oriented. She will listen to any idea you have and work to make it happen. However, she is experienced enough to know what works and counseled us without pushing her own opinion. Every decision was made to fit our vision and esthetic.
Jen and her team executed our weekend to perfection. She took control of our rehearsal when needed, worked closely with our venue partners, and allowed us to enjoy the best day of our lives. She crafted our timeline from the ground up and was able to seamlessly pivot as needed. This allowed us to soak in every moment and not stress on the wedding day. Every couple deserves someone they can put their trust into and calms the wedding overwhelm. She exceeded our wildest expectations and I just think every bride needs a Jen!! -

Jen and her team are amazing. My husband, Chris, and I decided to purchase her three month plan--our wedding was 9/10/22 so we began meeting with her in June. But even before June, she was helpful answering questions and kept track of all of my vendor contracts and other info as the months of pre-planning went on. Since we got married in the Catholic Church, she even connected us with someone who assisted us with finding an officiant (who turned out to be amazing).
June through the beginning of September was naturally stressful because I was a very type-A bride, so I wanted every little detail to be perfect. Jen always helped us make decisions that would cause us the least amount of stress and helped us put everything into perspective.
Jen and her team members, Jules and Rich, helped lead a seamless rehearsal the night prior, which really put us at ease for our big day. When Saturday rolled around, they were on it. I didn't worry about anything and they made my dream and vision come to life. Our reception was held at Hunt Valley Country Club and everything looked immaculate and set up just as I wanted it. We enjoyed the whole entire day and felt very present for all of it. Also... we both ate dinner and never went hungry or thirsty. Jen, Jules, and Rich checked on us throughout the evening and ensured that we were happy and that everything went perfectly. I am honestly sad that we can't meet with Jen weekly anymore and will miss planning the most special day of our lives! Thanks to Jen and her team for pulling it off without a hitch!
