I cannot say enough amazing things about Jax and Paulina. Jax is truly a makeup magician, and Paulina nailed my vision for the perfect hollywood waves. From the moment we did the trial, I knew I was in the best hands. They each took the time to understand my vision and somehow brought it to life even better than I imagined. On my wedding day, both Jax and Paulina were so sweet, professional, and such a grounding presence amidst what can be a stressful day.
My hair and makeup lasted flawlessly through tears, hugs, dancing, and delicious food. I felt glam, comfortable, and most importantly like myself, just the most elevated, glowing version. My mom and mother in law had their makeup done by Linda, and they both looked stunning! Linda worked with each of their features and preferences beautifully.
This team is not just insanely talented, they're kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about making their clients feel the absolute best. Hiring them was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Do yourself a favor and book them.
I also feel obligated to add that they were incredibly responsive and reliable! No added stress from delayed responses! Thank you again!! -

Jax and Paulina were the best duo for my wedding party. They are easy to work with and pricing is great. I also included my mom and she looked wonderful for the day. Jax and her team provided excellent hair and makeup services for all of my wedding events! From bridal to bridesmaids to mothers, they catered to the different styles that each of us requested, and everything turned out beautifully! She had a wide array of products available and was able to give me a perfect glowy, but natural look! We would highly recommend them for any hair, makeup, or spray tan services! -

I am the mother of the groom and wanted to do something special for the bride, her mother, my daughter, and myself, so I hired J and L Makeup. Jax did the makeup for all four of us and was incredible to work with. She consulted with each of us and was very professional and easy to talk to. We all looked and felt beautiful and it wasn’t just the bride who received compliments all night :). It was a great experience and I’m so glad I went with J and L for our makeup and hair. It was one less thing to worry about on my son’s wedding day. I would hire them again in a second. -

I was kind of hesitant to book a makeup artist for my wedding since I tend to be particular about my makeup, but Jax did an amazing job! I didn’t feel like it looked over done and I felt like I still looked like myself, just a more polished version. She was great about listening to what I wanted and making changes during the trial so things looked just right. I got so many compliments on my wedding day about my makeup and so did my family members that go their makeup done by her! -

Jax and her team were incredible. I had a great experience with the hair and makeup trial, then changed my inspiration and look for both just a month before the wedding. Everything was executed beautifully- they brought as many hair and makeup artists as needed for my wedding party and MOB, MOG and my cousin! My look was flawless all night and everyone looked natural in-parson and amazing in photos at the same time. Trust Jax, her Mom and their team! -

We booked for our small intimate wedding and it was five of us who go our hair and makeup done. Jax is truly an artist she made each one of us look amazing and made sure all of our best features stood out. I had them do my hair and makeup for the rehearsal and wedding day. I was genuinely sad when I had to do my own hair and makeup because they made me look so wonderful! Not only did we look good in person but they make sure you look flawless in photos also. -

Jax from J and L Makeup did my makeup for my wedding last July, and she is nothing short of a magician! With 54 year old skin, I could look as pretty as I wanted to , but Jax exceeded all my expectations. She made my skin look absolutely flawless and somehow managed to take years off my face. Her ability to highlight my best features while expertly downplaying the areas I’m not as confident about is truly impressive. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she works quickly and used high end products. I felt beautiful and youthful, and I can't recommend Jax enough! -

Amazing experience
I had my wedding this past summer and am so happy I booked J & L. They are such a talented and flexible team, and handled several last minute changes without missing a step in making the whole wedding party so beautiful. I think I changed the number of services I needed for my party three times in the last 72 hours before the wedding, and they somehow made it work without seeming fazed. The hair and make up itself was gorgeous. They did a fantastic job of taking the few generic inspiration photos I gave them and tailoring a look for me -

They took the time to really understand my preferences and vision, and with their expert touch, brought that vision to life. The makeup not only highlighted my features but also stayed flawless throughout the entire day and night.

I got married in June of 2020 right in the middle of the pandemic. In May of 2020, I reached out to the woman I had hired to do my make up for my bridals and wedding. She informed me she was not doing makeup because of the pandemic. I immediately started to panic. I had my bridals set up the following week and I was getting married in about a month and didn't have anyone to do my makeup!! My mom reached out to our neighbors, who happen to be JandL makeup (we did not know at this at the time). Jaclyn and Linda were AMAZING! They stepped into action immediately! They not only did my make up (last minute) for my bridals they also happened to be available for my wedding!
That is just the first part of this story. Given that my wedding got turned upside down and I ended up getting married in my mom's backyard, which was a blessing in disguise. Jaclyn and Linda opened their home to me and my bridesmaids! They had a little home studio for us to get our make up done. They even allowed us to use their home to get our hair done!! They provided drinks and wonderful entertainment. Above and beyond what I had expected or even anticipated! The professionalism and hospitality was incredible! Not to mention me and my bridesmaids all looked beautiful! I highly recommend them to anyone getting married! -

J and L Makeup did an amazing job on the makeup for my bridal photos and for my wedding day. A few of my ladies do not regularly wear makeup and they felt so comfortable in the makeup they had on. They listened to exactly what I wanted and asked questions as we went to make sure I was 100% satisfied. They even helped one of the groomsmen cover up a zit. The quality of the makeup they use is amazing. My makeup looked great from begining to end, even after dinner and 3 hours of dancing. I have already recommended them to friends getting married and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality makeup artist. -

I have never felt more confident, beautiful, and authentically myself than after Jax finished my wedding makeup. Our day was filled with last minute changes (hello, planning a wedding in 2020), but Jax was a source of constant encouragement and positivity leading up to and on our wedding day. She was endlessly patient as we navigated the challenges of a pandemic and safety concerns and, most importantly, she made our entire bridal party look and feel so gorgeous and glamorous for our wedding.

They provided the lighting, which is huge because we didn't have great lighting at the house we were staying at. Nothing Short of Perfection!

J and L was the best vendor I worked with for my wedding - they are AMAZING. So over the top. They were so lovely, easy to coordinate with, and attentive. The work was phenomenal.
They incorporated feedback on the types of looks / how bold to go on each person, so no matter your taste they have you covered. They are both incredibly focused and detail oriented. We never felt rushed. They did me (and my mom for fun :) ) at a test run before the wedding. Then me, my mom, and all the bridesmaids for the wedding. Everyone loved the looks. It was truly stunning. I've never looked better in my life. They also stayed at the venue while we took photos for a few hours so that we could get any touch-ups afterward before the ceremony. Life saving. Even helping me fix my hair since it started snowing during photos and the hair stylist had bailed. Can't recommend them enough for any occasion. As a bonus they are also really fun to hang out with, great vibes for a relaxing atmosphere in the bridal suite! Don't choose anyone else for your event. -

The BEST Wedding Makeup
I had an amazing experience with Jaclyn and Linda for my wedding day. They did make up for my sister, my mom, and myself at my venue in Park City. I loved having the ability to do a trial a few months before my wedding and getting to know them both! They were such a friendly, personable, and fun team to join me on my wedding day and I cannot recommend them enough! -

They are fantastic. I do not have enough kind words about them - they are incredibly organized, flexible, and professional throughout planning and the day of. They were able to cater to my own and all of my bridesmaids styles and requests, and all of us loved them! Jaclyn even stayed for pictures in case I needed touch ups (which I did in fact, need several). They are amazing! -
