The Best Engagement Photos Ever
Working with Scott was amazing. I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted for engagement photos, and after scouring Instagram, knew Scott was our man. His communication was prompt, and the day of the shoot was so effortless. My fiancé and I are both a little awkward in front of the camera but he was super professional and made us feel at ease. As for the photos - they completely exceeded my wildest dreams. We ended up with the best engagement photos I’ve ever seen, even better than all the inspo we sent back and forth. I couldn’t be happier with them and am so pleased to have these for the rest of our lives! I can’t recommend him enough - the work speaks for itself. If you’re looking for truly editorial, unique art that will stand out from the crowd - you need Scott. -

Where do I begin... Scott is the most professional, sweet, down to earth, and talented photographer.
Photos and videos mean everything to me. Throughout my life I have learned that sometimes that is all you have left of a person or your favorite memories. It was so important to me to work with a photographer who truly understood that need and would do it beautifully.
I had followed Ivory Season Photography on social media for years knowing that one day I would want him to shoot my engagement, my engagement shoot, my wedding, and to be honest... any huge life event that I experience from here on out.
His work makes it feel more than a picture, it becomes a piece of art. The effort and time he takes to assure he gets the right shot and that his editing is perfect does reflect in the end gallery you receive back. If you want something that is different than your mainstream instagram feed photographers with the same presets, do yourself a favor and work with Ivory Season. You'll get your pictures back and feel like you should be the cover of BRIDE magazine.
But aside from his obvious talent of photography, he is a great person. He made sure throughout my wedding day that I was okay, that my family was okay, and that everything was perfect for me and my husband. He goes above and beyond being a photographer. Scott has become a great friend to me and I will never regret telling him years in advance that he has to be the one shooting my wedding (even before meeting him). I am so thankful for everything that he's done for me and can't wait to continue to work with him for the rest of my life! -

Our experience with Ivory Season Photography was outstanding! Scott went above and beyond in every way possible from coaching us through postures, extending the length of the shoot and sharing the photos in no time! Not only did we get beautiful photos that we, our family & friends are still obsessing over but the experience filled the day we adventure, laughter and love! I can go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time with Scott, his kindness and professionalism and hope you have the opportunity to experience it yourself!! Thank you for everything Scott! -

My fiancé and I loved working with Scott! He was very flexible and easy to work with. He was extremely creative and adapted to what we wanted/liked but also put his own flare on it. We loved all of our photos!!!! -

Talented photographer
I should say Scott made our day in our engagement party. He is super patient and try to calm you down. Once we met him, he turned to our friend and that’s why we enjoyed our photography session a lot. He valued our ideas and did his best to shoot what we wanted. highly recommend him if you want a talented and friendly photographer. -

Incredible
I had never had my photos taken before and I was extremely nervous upon arriving. He was punctual and brought all of his own equipment. Scott kept me laughing throughout the entire shoot, but somehow managed to capture a side of myself I had never seen before. I left the photo shoot feeling beautiful and confident. His creative eye produces an aesthetic that will leave any client speechless. I will continue to recommend him to anyone who wants professional photos taken, for any occasion. -

I almost never leave a review unless someone’s work went above and beyond OR our experience was completely awful. You know when people say "I wish I could give less than 1 Star"...yep it’s one of those and hopefully, you will see this and choose a different photographer who is way more professional and provides the services you are looking for! Working with this photographer for a one on one shoot was OK. But working with him for our wedding was a horrible experience, we think he lacks experience and focus. We originally did a couples shoot and really liked his 1-on-1 work and our 2 other couples friends liked him too and I referred them to him for their weddings as well, that were coming up in the year after we booked him for our wedding. Scott offered us a $50 referral credit for each referral, sounds OK right? I was just going to use it towards some service of his and do another shoot with him, well fast forward to our wedding and he never sent us our correct finalized contract, we asked him numerous times when we saw him for our engagement photo shoot. He told us he just copied one he found on the internet and he had to find it to resend it to us. We continued to give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe this is where we should have realized the red flags and backed out. On our wedding day, we expected him to catch the super important moments, and unfortunately, we feel that he has failed us. I have received very minimal photos with my mother and grandmother even though Scott asked us for a list of photos we wanted to be taken and he made claims he would take them but on the wedding day, he did not follow any of that list. His hired second photographer Faye did a great job and we thought she had the experience that was needed for a wedding. We ended up hiring a second photographer to do a second-day shoot to get some more photos after we got back from our honeymoon. Then we were supposed to see Scott at the second couples wedding August 2020, he was supposed to give us the 2, $50 referral credits he even messaged me about it, so total $100, (EDIT: he claims to the knot that he gives clients $100 a piece not $50 so therefore we are owed $50 more since he only gave us $50 for the one, the second couple cancelled on him so we never got a chance to see him in person to discuss this.) for the 2 weddings he got from us referring to him which I honestly didn’t care much about but he brought it up and he said he only owed us 1 credit for this upcoming wedding because he had to cancel on the backyard wedding. I was immediately confused because the wedding he claims never happened, already did this year which included my cousin and my family attending it, and we saw him in attendance. I confirmed with him by sending him a photo from the wedding, asking if this was his work. He then continued to say he couldn’t make it but then flipped and said he was there as a guest and the food was good and he was there as Santa’s little helper?!? Like what? He was talking bad about our friends as clients and our other couple friends behind their back and that he only took their pictures because they are an easy couple but they are bad people. Who knows what he said about us? We do not recommend this photographer, especially when there are so many other great ones in the WNY area.
