We hired Mimi after we attended a friend's wedding that she had officiated. Their ceremony was so beautiful and moving--we just had to have Mimi at our wedding too! From the beginning, she was responsive, kind and professional. We had a couple of calls to discuss what we did and didn't want in our ceremony, and we had no doubt that Mimi would deliver a heartfelt, personalized ceremony based on our love story. We laughed, we cried, we enjoyed every minute of it on wedding day--and so did our guests!! I cannot recommend Mimi enough--you will not regret hiring her for your ceremony! -

Mimi was so helpful and made our ceremony exactly what we imagined. It was last minute and although she and her team were booked with prior engagements, she said to choose a close family member or friend to present her cermony. IT WAS PERFECT! Mimi officiated our 4/22/22 wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts. Originally planned for 4/18/20, Mimi was with us every step of the way as we postponed our wedding due to the pandemic. Mimi is warm, flexible, and accommodating and understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding ceremony. Multiple guests told me it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended. I wish I could give more than a 5 star review for Mimi. My fiancé and I booked her in 2019 after a lengthy officiant search and interview process. We met up at a charming coffee shop where Mimi had some mini doughnuts waiting and the conversation just flowed. We immediately not only felt comfortable, but we were also impressed with her professionalism, preparedness, unique ceremony ideas and willingness to make our ceremony unique to us. We were supposed to get married in May of 2020, but then the pandemic forced us to postpone not once but twice. Each time I never had to worry, she was so reassuring that she would be with us whenever and wherever we had it, offered a smaller ceremony option and would just check in with us. We finally got married this past Memorial Day weekend and after the ceremony everyone told us how incredible her handcrafted ceremony was- personal, light, but with the perfect blend of words to still hit the tone of the moment. She took care of the license after the wedding and all of our friends and family adored her. Then not even 24 hours after she sent me the copy of our ceremony with a thank you. Mimi became family to us and I couldn’t say more about how great she was to work with. -

It’s Official is simply the best officiant service in the Tampa Bay Area. Mimi and Emily are professional and sweet and work to ensure your ceremony is perfect. We wrote our own vows and kept them a secret. On our wedding day, Emily had them prepared for us so that we didn’t have to worry about memorizing them. Lastly, we asked that she not wear black since it was a beach wedding. Her dress was perfect! I would recommend It’s Official to anyone! -

Our ceremony was so perfect it almost felt like Emily knew us forever. With just our one meet and great at the Little Donut House and a fun questionnaire form we completed in secret from each other Emily and Mimi were able to put together such a great ceremony that I think everyone cried! They were even able to guide me with my vows! I would definitely recommend It’s Official to everyone! Thank you for making our day so special. -

Sweet and knowledgable
Mimi is the sweetest! She was so helpful in putting our ceremony together for us. Since we were already married at the courthouse we didn't need anything extravagant, just something very personal and "us." She made that happen! She met with us beforehand and gave us some homework to stay on track and get everything together (we only had probably a month and a half before the wedding at that point). I can highly recommend her! -

Johanna Sent on 08/30/2018We had been looking for someone affordable who was willing to perform a not so traditional ceremony that included a Native American poem/ ceremonial speech. Mimi was wonderful, on time, and professional. We were married on the Hillsborough River and did the whole wedding day for under $600 including our rings! Thanks Mimi for being part of our awesome day!

Regina Sent on 08/27/2018Mimi was so easy to work with and helpful. She came prepared to our first meeting with everything we needed to write out vows and understand how we should set up our ceremony. She even had ideas of unifying activities during the ceremony. Also want to mention she is sweet as pie with some great sense of humor which helps since she will be the one speaking mostly and officiating your union. For me I had to have someone I was comfortable with and that could make the ceremony entertaining. On top of everything she's very reasonable. Hire Mimi! I promise you’ll love her the minute you meet her.
